Long time not updated my beloved blog due to my busy days working in here. So on this occasion i will give you the latest information around what happened nowadays in China. As you might know, we are facing a not familiar seasons climate on Northwest, so today i will give you the information on above issue with video to watch.

Yesterday, on August 19 afternoon, The Bridge on Sichuan Guanghan Shiting River was Collapse. meanwhile on the top of the bridge there is a train K165 passing by, bound for Kunming. The Train K165 is coming from Xi'an. Train with two cars fell into the territory of Sichuan Guanghan Shiting River. Rescuers said the bridge initially arrived at the scene of two piers were destroyed, the bridge leaving it "V" shape in the air. After 30 minutes of relief, two cars in the settlement of nearly 400 passengers were evacuated. Shortly afterward, the bridge collapsed with a bang, two cars Zhuihe, washed downstream to 200 meters. As you know, valentine day and Chinese New Year is fall in the same day. Since Valentine's Day falls on the same day as Spring Festival / Chinese new year this year, most young lovers will seize the chance for that scary first encounter with the future in-laws - but for Xiao Yi and Liu Xing a Gay couple, this remains an extravagant hope.

They both having respectable jobs with good salaries. They are devoted to each other and rarely argue. They were born on the same day and wear the same sized shoes. And they are both men.

They met four years ago in a chat room on danlan.org, and moved in together after one year on March 14. This is White Valentine's Day, popular in some Asian countries, and has now become our anniversary," Liu said.

"He gave me a ring. Just like other couples, rings represent love and trust," Liu said with a smile to Xiao Yi. Liu currently works for danlan.org, a large Chinese gay website set up in 2000. The website has more than 80,000 views per day with at least a million registered users.

Xiao, 27, was born in Chongqing and spent four years in a Beijing college. He said he first discovered his sexuality as a child. "I loved playing games with girls and was happy to be around boys," he said. "I thought I was autistic and felt very lonely until I realized my gay friends were experiencing the same kind of things. By chatting with them I learned that I was not ill, and I built up enough courage to accept it," he said.

"Most people are prejudiced against gay people and believe online gay chat rooms are obscene and unhealthy. But actually, we are the same as normal couples - we also believe in love and monogamy," Xiao Yi said. For Xiao Yi and Liu Xing, falling in love with a man made their loves not only happier but also easier.

"We can swap, share our clothes and shoes, which saves loads of money," Liu joked. "Both of us are men and we have a lot in common, including our lifestyles and our way of thinking". "We share all things," Liu added.

He said his gay lover could understand the great pressures of work and life.

Despite the apparent perfect situation, both men are anxious about telling their parents about their happy lives.

"I don't think our parents will accept it," Liu said. "If they can't, I might choose to marry a lesbian. That would satisfy the needs of my family and wouldn't destroy what we have."

When discussing the possibility of a child, Liu said they love children very much and would like to adopt a baby in the future.

"We have lots of dreams for the future. We want to marry like other couples, have a child, and be accepted by our families and society," Xiao said.

"I have to go home for New Year's Eve, but I promised Xiao Yi I would be back for Valentine's Day," Liu said.

He added that they planned to travel in Thailand in the coming Tiger year. "We have never traveled together before, so we will consider that trip as our honeymoon," he said.

According to statistics released by the Ministry of Health in 2006, there are an estimated five to 10 million homosexuals in the Chinese mainland, aged between 15 and 65. However, renowned sociologist Li Yinhe, put the figure much higher at between 36 and 48 million.

Daughter defends her father in blog

This is the story of Wu Fangyi, 22 years old daughter who defends her father which is being charged for corruption case by government. This story makes me to write down it for you, because this story is a little bit famous in here.

Wu Fangyi, daughter of Wu Yizhen which being charged for allegedly corrupt official in central China's Hunan province, has created a blog on the Internet to argue that her father is innocent. The site has attracted tens of thousands of netizens, who have shown both support and skepticism.

Wu build the first blog, titled "Hold on, Father" in late December after her father, Wu Yizhen, former secretary of the CPC county committee of Chengbu Miao autonomous county, which is under the administration of Shaoyang, Hunan province, had gone through the first court hearing in which he was accused of "abusing power and corruption". The blog had received about 830,000 visits by last week.

She posted several photos of their humble or even shabby houses online to introduce her family situation. She said that her grandparents in their 70s are still doing handwork and selling vegetables to help with expenses at home. Meanwhile, her father is living in a 50 sq m dorm provided by the county government, devoting all his energy to work, never eating outside in posh restaurants or going to foot baths, where a person can get foot massages.

The senior studying in an agricultural university in Changsha, Hunan's capital, said she created the blog because she felt what was happening to her father was unfair, and she wanted to cry for her father.

"My cellphone costs only 200 yuan. I have no expensive clothes or cosmetics. I checked my father's bag several times and found only documents and notebooks," she wrote.

Wu Fangyi's descriptions have won the sympathy of many netizens, who expressed trust and support for her.

But some netizens said she is cheating and faking the photographs. Some questioned how it is possible for an ordinary 22-year-old girl to have 50,000 yuan worth of savings.

Nearly 2,000 netizens left comments on sina.com. Some said they believe Wu's father is innocent, and some said whether the official is corrupt has no direct relationship with his family situation.

"I can guarantee with my life that all I said in the blog is true," Wu told China Daily, adding that the 50,000 yuan is her life savings of yasuiqian, which is "lucky money" offered to children during the traditional Spring Festival.

"It is enough to see the majority of people trust and support me. As for the others, I know it is a stereotype in many people's minds that all officials are corrupt. It is not surprising that they do not trust me," she said.

Wu's mother, surnamed Hua, said the biggest hope of the family now is that her husband could be proved innocent. They hope Wu Yizhen could go on trial outside Shaoyang.

"We did not take any bribes, or we dare not put all these things online," said Hua, a teacher at a high school in Shaoyang.

Hua was also detained for half a year until she handed in 185,000 yuan of "bribes".

She maintained the money was not aquired through illegal means.

"Actually it was a pool of money collected by my friends as I did not take any bribes," Hua told China Daily, adding she managed finances for the family and they used to own more than 200,000 yuan of savings.

"But I spent nearly all of it to pay the lawyers. My father did not accumulate a network for himself when in his position and I did not know who else to ask for help," she said.

Wu Fangyi said in her blog his father's office and their houses were searched five times but the procuratorate still did not find any proof of bribery or house property taken by her father.

An anonymous official of the discipline inspection commission of Shaoyang city told China Daily: "It is impossible for the commission to transfer the case to the procuratorate if they do not have any proof." But he declined to give details.

All the phone numbers the People's Procuratorate of Shaoyang registered with 114 (a directory inquiry service) were not answered except a "report hotline". However, the man who answered this line shouted and threatened the reporter not to call again after he heard of China Daily's interview request.

First gay couple get married in China

According to estimates by Zhang Beichuan, a professor at Qingdao University and an expert on homosexuality and HIV/AIDS prevention, China has roughly 30 million same sex oriented person. They are 20 million gay men and the remaining, are lesbians.Professor found in a survey of 1,259 homosexuals that 8.7 percent were fired or forced to resign after revealing their sexual orientation, and 4.7 percent felt their salary and career advancement were affected. Some 62 percent keep their sexual orientation a secret in the workplace.

This is the story of a Gay couple 45-year-old Zeng and 27-year-old Pan who got married only 17 days ago but their honeymoon has been a long ordeal. Since China doesn't recognize and tolerate same sex marriages, it is claimed that the Zeng-Pan wedding ceremony is the first such public event in the country.

This couple made their relationship public in November and had a wedding ceremony in a gay bar in Chengdu of southwest China's Sichuan Province on January 3, 2010., they have been the subject of revilement from family and friends.

On the interview with China daily he said that he discovered when he was about 20 that he was not interested in people of the opposite sex. He said he felt sorry for his wife whom he described as dedicated and loyal. "What could I do at that time? I felt embarrassed to think of that tendency," he said. "I felt I was embracing a lifeless tree while holding a woman," Zeng said.

Zeng, is an architect in Chengdu. He married a dance instructor in 1983 and they had a daughter three years later. But try as he did, he said he could not be attracted to his wife. So he deliberately found a job far away from home the day after marriage and came back just once or twice a month.

When their daughter grew up and found a decent job, Zeng confessed to his wife. "She was shocked and kept crying for several days. Finally, she agreed to set me free" Zeng added. So the couple divorced last February.

Pan 27, is a demobilized soldier. He's already get a girl friend. They met last November at a bar. They fell in love with each other at first sight, his bright and enchanting smile almost blinded me. And I am so addicted to his gentle and soft voice. Pan is robust and masculine, he said.

This couple met frequently. One month after their first date, Pan broke up with his girlfriend and moved to Zeng's apartment. However, they faced pressure and prejudice. Zeng even had to tell others neighbour that Pan was my adopted son. Not bear with the situation, the couple finally moved back to Zeng hometown of Luodai, a remote town in eastern Chengdu, where nobody knew them.

The couple finally made their choice to get married in a bar frequented visit by male homosexuals, which was unprecedented in the city. More than 200 of the couple's friends who shared their orientation were invited to the wedding but many guests who saw their wedding photos were surprised to find the bride in the white wedding gown was a man.

"Gays in Chengdu hardly tell others they are gay. They only meet each other in bars or tea houses, and dare not tell family members or friends, we are no longer hiding any more. The wedding is our happiest and most precious moment. We don't care how others consider us, as long as we are together" Zeng said.

The only thing they regret is that they could not get a marriage certificate in line with Chinese law. "Thousands of gays and lesbians get married in France, Finland, the UK. Why couldn't we?"

There has been no response from the government and critics argue. The idea is too radical for present day in China. Their wedding ceremony was attended by their gay friends without a single relative both of the couple.

Bigamy in China? Jail is waiting...!!!

Still remember Kaixin the China Facebook? As i have mentioned and share about Kaixin on my earlier post, here's another interesting story regarding this Chinese Version of Facebook.

Before i share this story, i want you to introduce you about our country policy law on Bigamy. Bigamy is prohibited under Article 3 of China's new Marriage Law, which was put into effect in 2006. Its a part of China's family planning one child in family program, which should be followed by all citizens including those who were rich. And its also a big part of our country policy law on country's anti-corruption watchdog the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).

The question is what is the relationship between corruption and bigamy? Here's the answer, because corrupt officials are found to have practiced bigamy. So Bigamy marriage is a crime.

Ok lets we continue. This is the true story about a person who play around the law like this man named Chang who was arrested on Friday. Because from Kaixin the story was revealed.

Chang was married with Li in 2005 in Zhejiang, and she's still live in there until now. Later on, due to the business Chang goes to Mexico. In Mexico Chang met a woman from Beijing named Wang. They married when Wang knows that she was pregnant. Chang was kept the two marriages secretly between his two wife by claiming that he was doing business abroad and could not return home frequently. When he did return, he split his time between Li's home in Zhejiang and Wang's home in Beijing as Wang has return to.

The truth was revealed when both of his wife adding each other as buddies from they husband buddies list in last year. Soon after they being buddies each other, they were begin to chatting and sharing each other like common buddies as usual. And at last they were sharing each other wedding photograph hihihi. You know what happened next? Yes you right they were shock after they knew that their grooms were the same hihihi. So Chang's first spouse Li, reported her husband of multiple marriages to Chaoyang district police in March.

And its also revealed that Chang was holding Mexican Passport, something that cannot be tolerated in here, because China does not recognize dual nationality. He concealed his Mexican passport in order of conveniently traveling between China and other countries.

When Chang Knew that he was reported and being charge, he canceled his Chinese passport and moved overseas for year. At last he was captured by the police while he is secretly visiting his parents on Friday.

What can we learn from this true story? I just want to tell you to behave your self, keep you and your family in safe, do not cheat on your self and your spouse because what have you done, you will take the result right hihhihi.

Chinese New Year 2010

Hi dear Friends and visitor, i am back again from my vacation days. This is my first post on 2010. But, it seems on a few days ahead i am not so active in my blogging, since i have to become a baby sitter for my sister children during they stay here until 7th of January they will be going back with their father. I love to play with them, they are so funny and cute hihihi... Ok lets back to the topic. The International New Year 2010 is passing by already, and the next even is Chinese New Year 农历新年.

Chinese New year is the most important and the longest festival during the Lunar Calendar. The Traditional festival it self begin on the first day of the month and end on 15th, most people knew as Lantern Festival. The origin of Chinese New Year it self is already centuries old and also from tradition and myths so far as i knew. Ancient Chinese New Year means is how the people behave during the year, and that is how we believe on it.

When it will be the Chinese New Year in 2010 and how to count it? In the Gregorian calendar, Chinese New Year falls on different dates each year, a date between January 21 and February 20. In the Chinese calendar, winter solstice must occur in the 11th month, which means that Chinese New Year usually falls on the second new moon after the winter solstice rarely the third if an intercalary month intervenes. So The Chinese New Year 2010 will be on 14 February 2010.

The way to celebrate of the Chinese new year vary widely. Most People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also a tradition that every family must thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any bad -fortune in hopes to make way for good luck to come 10 day before new year. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of happiness, wealth, and long life.

On the Eve of Chinese New Year,my family and most of people wild held supper dinner is a feast with all of families. Food will range from ducks, chicken and pig and also sweet delicacies. The family Supper Dinner will end the night with lighting the firecrackers on.

By the next early morning, the children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes for those whose not married yet. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.

The Question is why the using the red color and firecrackers?Well, according to the tradition an ancient story and legends, starting every new year there is mythical beast called the Nian appear. Nian would come on the first day of New Year to eat livestock, crops, and even villagers, especially children. Firstly to protect them selves, the villagers would put food in front of their doors at the beginning of every year. It was believed that after the Nian ate the food they prepared already, it wouldn’t attack any more people.

One time, people saw that the Nian was scared away by a little child wearing red clothes. The villagers then understood that the Nian was afraid of the red color. Since then, every time when the New Year was about to come, the villagers would hang red lanterns and red spring scrolls on windows and doors. People also used firecrackers to frighten away the Nian. From then on, Nian never came again to the village.

Since 2010 is the year of the tiger, many cute stuff like this were sold in here, look at my fingers, hihihi..

Oh one more thing, the Chinese New year is also marked as the beginning of the Spring season and it also called Spring Festival.

Hello dear friends and visitors, New year is closer and closer. And i guess this is my last post in 2009, because me, my sister and her family would have to go for vacation days from tomorrow for a year...? No no no, a year if we counting from 2009-2010 right hihihi, we are on vacation until 2nd January 2010. Well i guess its also good for my computer, modems, and VPN program here to have a rest right? Because my computer here was never been shout down lately, because if i am going to work, my sister used it to make video streaming, communicate with her husband and children and also her friend in her home country via QQ

Hi Friends and visitor. I am sure that you have already known the most knowing social networking in the world Facebook. Today i want you to know that China is already introduce the Chinese Version of facebook Kaixin.

It has almost the same feature with facebook, and millions of people across the world has using it, especially from China it self. So hereby i recommended you to use this Kaixin if you want to have a new friends or someone special from China hihihi.

Do i need to explain how to use it? I don't think so, because its already setting almost the same as facebook, so if you have familiar with facebook you can easily use it too. But in here the most i like is uploading your favorite music/songs and store it on your home page, and you can share it or giving it to anybody.

Its also completed with game, chatting, and visitor board, so we knew who is passing by our home page. I think its quite interesting for you to try. If you would try it have your self to try Kaixin.

China Tightens Regulation For Drunk Driver

Meet again dear friends. Today i want to share about the new revision on traffic regulation for safety driving on the street in my country. Ok, lets we begin. As so many traffic accident nowadays across big cities include my city lately due to the drunk driver and cause many dead peoples on the street, the government has release a revision on the regulation on street traffic by the minister of safety public yesterday. On this revision death sentence will be applied on drunk driver.

On this new revision of traffic law and regulation, drivers which found with a blood-alcohol content of more than 20 mg per 100 ml of blood will have 12 demerit points stripped from their record, an increase from the current rule that subtracts six points. Each driver's record begins with 12 points. When all 12 are struck from the record, a driver will have his or her license revoke by police, be forced to study again on traffic laws for a week and take an examination in order to regain the license.

As you know at the moment is beginning of the winter seasons, and the weather temperature is very low on the north part of the country and also in mine in the south, many people used to drink alcohol to warm up. But if we take it too much can cause disasters for us and to anybody else if we are driving a car after take it.

And for your information also due to our high economic wealth growing, many people has it own car, not just a car, but luxurious sport cars. No wonder if in here you can see many people driving a Porche, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, and other sport car which can run in high speed, especially the street in here is so wide (5 lane) you can imagine how it can be if its driven by a drunk driver?

Previously, many drivers said they did not take the traffic offense seriously because driving under the influence only becomes a criminal offense when an injury or death is caused. They also said that driving after drinking is quite usual, and felt sober enough to drive after a few cups of beer.

Well, fight for that opinion now the government launched that revision on the law, and the government is also now launched "zero-tolerance" campaign against the traffic offense. Guangzhou police caught 101 drivers under the influence on the first night of the campaign.

Hihihi, you know what now, after this revision applied and launched, many people will not dare to drink and drive. Well i think its good for both of the driver it self and the public, isn't it?

What's Up in my city today? High-Speed Railway Train is Launching Soon

Meet again dear friend and visitor. Now is time for the latest news from my city again. Today i want to share and inform you about our new passenger transportation mode is being tested yesterday. The mode of transportation is High Speed Railway Train, connected from my city to the central north of China, Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province.

First i want to introduce you, the distance between my city to the Wuhan city is about 1.068 km. Usually if we go by train it will takes around 10 hours. So by this new high speed train it only takes around 3 hours, because the train is running on around 350km/h. I my self is not yet tried this train, but i will try it later when i get my vacation days hihihi...

The other information i got is that to setup this train and railway linking between Wuhan in central China's Hubei Province and Guangdong's capital Guangzhou city take costs about 116.6 billion yuan (about 17 billion US dollars) and its shortens the 10.5-hour trip between Wuhan and Guangzhou to three hours. The question is with that large amount of money, how much it cost for each passenger to pay for the ticket? The answer is that the ticket prices have not been published yet. But, according to the earlier reports said it might be around 500 yuan ($73), double from the current berth ticket price. The trial operation of the high speed railway train will be on December 20, according to the official said.

A successful operation of the high-speed railway of more than 1,000 km will help demonstrate China's technological strength ... and appeal to countries like Russia, India and the United States, which also have broad territories and a plan for building high-speed railways and they have expressed interest in working with China. Other countries with has advanced high-speed railway technology, such as Germany, Japan and France, do not carry passengers over the same distance as China's railway did.

According to a blueprint by the Ministry of Railway, the mainland will build 16,000 km of high-speed railway by 2020, with trains running at 350km/h, over 80% of the current network of airlines by 2020 to offer passengers a cheaper cost, and more reliable ride. It wants to cover 70 percent of the country's key cities.

China is in a fervor of improving its railway system amid transportation pressure. As planned, it will build high-speed passenger rail lines with a total length of 13,000 kilometers in the three years. The next step after this are by 2012, 42 high-speed railway links amounting to 13,000 km will be finished, of which 5,000 km will be operated at 250km/h, while 8,000 km will run at 350km/h.

E.C. Segar's (Popeye's Creature) Birthday

Hello again dear. As i am using Google this morning, Google is celebrating the birthday of the creator of my favorite cartoon's movies POPEYE Elzie Crisler Segar (E.C.Segar's) Today. Since Popeye is my favorite since i am toddler so it makes a must for me to celebrating too isn't it?

Does anybody here, doesn't know Popeye? I don't think so hihihi...., he is famous with his muscular power after eating spinach. Segar (Popeye's Creator) chose spinach due to an 1870 German study which claimed it contained the same amount of iron as red meat.

Segar introduce Popeye firstly in 1929 in a comic strip Thimble Theatre.

Segar was born in Illinois on December 8th 1894. Since a kid he showed in drawing, He studied a correspondence course in cartooning, before he eventually decided to move to Chicago for pursue his career in cartoons. He died on October 13th, 1938 at the age of 43 so young isn't it?. Since then the Popeye cartoon show is appearing in television cartoons, advertisements with his girlfriend Olive Oyl and his rival Bluto i love to see when they 3 met in a sequence..... and even in a 1980 movie about the character, which starred by Robin Williams.

Death Sentenced For Murdered In Urumqi Riot

Hello dear, meet me again. Did you still remember about Xinjiang Riots on 5 July 2009? There's a latest news today and i want to informed and share for you. Totally there are 108 suspect in the riots, and 13 suspect were tried so far by yesterday at the Urumqi Intermediate Court.

Yesterday 8 who were sentenced to death are 5 Uygur men and 3 Han ethnic. Two other suspects were sentenced to life in prison. Six others were given jail terms, though details of the jail terms were not released yesterday.

Six men have been executed earlier before on october for taking part in rioting that left nearly 200 people dead in Urumqi in July. The China News Service reported that the nine were executed after a final review of the verdicts by the Supreme People's Court, as required by law. They are Abdukerim Abduwayit, Gheni Yusup, Abdulla Mettohti, Adil Rozi, Nureli Wuxiu'er, and Alim Metyusup were sentenced to death at the Intermediate People's Court in Urumqi.

Tayirejan Abulimit was given life imprisonment, a lesser punishment as he confessed to crimes of murder and robbery and helped the police capture Alim Metyusup.

All and seven men had been convicted of murder, and some of them were also convicted of arson or robbery.

The seven were the first to be sentenced over the riot, which left 197 people dead and more than 1,600 injured in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Abdukerim Abduwayit killed five innocent people with dagger and pipe wrench during the riot. He also set fire to a downtown building, forcing 13 people to jump off the building to escape and causing an economic loss of more than 260,000 yuan (38,067 U.S. dollars).

In the second case, Gheni Yusup led Abdulla Mettohti, Adil Rozi and Nureli Wuxiu'er in beating four people to death and injuring another. They smashed and looted shops and vehicles.

Abdulla Mettohti and others also set a grain and oil shop ablaze, killing five people who were hiding inside and causing an economic loss of 1.37 million yuan.

In the third case, Alim Metyusup and Tayirejan Abulimit together killed three people and seriously injured one person. They also robbed the victims of their mobile phones.

Alim Metyusup together with other mobs killed another two people and set fire to houses, resulting in an economic loss of more than 50,000 yuan.

The public prosecutors presented testimonies of witnesses, autopsy reports and other evidences at the court, and played monitoring video of the scenes of crimes.

The trials yesterday started at 10am in separate courtrooms, a day after Xinjiang Muslims celebrated the five-day holiday for Eid-Ul-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice.

More than 400 people, including legislators, political advisors, family members of the defendants and victims, and journalists, observed the court hearings.

All defendants have the right to appeal but the verdict during a possible appeal will be deemed final, according to Chinese law. A death sentence verdict must be reviewed by the Supreme People's Court before execution.

Obituary News, Carlos Is Passed Away.

Just Now i received information from my friend Teb, that one of my beloved friend from Lisbon Portugal, whom always help and always support me from the first time i am blogging in the blogspot, has Passed Away. His Name is Carlos. I think all of my old blogger friends must be known him also.

His website is O Papaxicolates. I Hope all of my friend here, who read this news, Please also do visit to his site and give him sweet respect by leaving comment. I am very sad at this moment, why nice and good person was leaving so soon?

Last time on september i guess, he told me that he will be away for a couple of week. But i never heared from him again until today that he is passed away already. He is so sweet, funny and always having joke with me. I never thought he is leaving so soon.

China Deployed Warship To Somalia

Meet again in the new post. This time i want to share this information which is think its important for everybody to know about this news. Our government is finally deployed our new naval warship to join the last 3 warship in gulf of aden and waters off the coast of Somalia to protect merchant vessels against rampant pirates that still hold a Chinese ship for ransom.

As you all have known that Somalia is become a dangerous country include their off coast waters for the shipping line around the world. Somalia is well known now for its hijacking and pirating with detain ships asking for ransom.

They have tried once to hijack the our fishing ship MV Zhenhua 4 owned by China Communications Construction on lat year Desember 2008, on their way back to Shanghai, but deterred as crews radioed for help. The 30 crew members fought for four hours after nine pirates armed with rocket launchers and heavy machine guns boarded the ship. A Malaysian warship, Sri Indera Sakti and Malaysian military helicopter arrived and fired on the pirates, who fled the scene. No crew members were injured. The crew used water cannons, molotov cocktails and beer bottles to defend against the pirates, whom were fully armed, imagine that, hihihii..

On October 19, 2009, the finally manage to catch our Chinese coal-carrying vessel "De Xin Hai" owned by Cosco Qindaq with 25 crew members on board on her way back home was kidnapped by pirates about 1,000 sea miles away from the patrolling area of Chinese warships in the Indian Ocean. So far all the 25 crew members have been identified as Chinese citizens by the shipping company they worked for. The Ministry of Transport is working on the release of the ship.

Answer of the situation, our government is deployed our newest warship of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy on last Friday from Zhoushan to protect merchant vessels against rampant pirates that still hold a Chinese ship DE XIN HAI.

This ship is the fourth task force of its kind that China has sent to the region since the end of last year, Missile frigates FFG-525 Ma'anshan and FFG-526 Wenzhou will relieve the FFG-529 Zhoushan and FFG-530 Xuzhou from the PLA Navy's third flotilla which have patrolled the area since June.

This new warships will join Qiandaohu, a supply ship, which has been on duty in the region for about three months. The fourth warship will have a crew of more than 700, including a special force unit and two ship-borne helicopters.

They would actively take part in international humanitarian rescue missions. It is not immediately known whether the new naval task force will bear a rescue mission for "De Xin Hai", but the two Chinese frigates currently patrolling the area have intensified the frequency of surveillance by shipborne helicopters, skiffs and the special force unit for merchant vessels passing by.

China made an unprecedented move by sending three warships to the Gulf on December 26 last year in the first overseas escort mission for merchant vessels.

The PLA Navy warships have escorted hundreds of domestic and foreign vessels since the first our warship arrived in the region.

Halloween

Hi my friends and visitor, we meet again on this new post. I am asking for apologize, almost pass 1 week i cant do visit, posting and blog walking due to the internet situation here. Now i just can manage to surf again, and i will visit and return blogging again. Wish me luck.

Today i want to talk about the Halloween even that is spread out through my town nowadays. I dont quite well enough known about this even so far, but i want to share all the tiny knowledge about it.

Halloween, is shortened from All Hallows' Even. Halloween is annual tradition which is celebrate on today 31 October. Halloween it self is coming from tradition from north Europe to celebrate a holy day of all saints, but many people have expressed it on a strong feelings about perceived of religious.

Marked and symbol with black and orange have become associated with the celebration. Its a symbol of darkness of night and fire color of carved pumpkins by jack o lantern. Its reflection about scary, horror, and horrible story things. But for me, i didnt believed about such of that at all because i never met with that kind of things hihihi.

Today there's a symbol of Halloween in my city with a big pumpkin in the almost of the shopping mall, completed with all of merchandise to celebrate that even. Hmm, i guess its an interesting nice one to introduce western habits and cultural in China, because there are so many west foreigners expat live in here nowadays. How about your opinion? Happy Halloween hihihihi....

Al-Qaida threatens to attack China

As i read the news regarding that tittle, i was very sad. Why they targeting our country? Have we done wrong to them? They said bcause of xinjiang. Xinjiang is a small riots that usually happened in every nation and country around the world. Its is because they fail on they war against US and NATO so they deflect to us?

Did they know that we are not supporting troops or money to the US or Nato on Iraq and Afghanistan? We are nothing to blame. So why they planning to strike on us? For more information regarding this matters here i Quote the news from China Daily.

DUBAI: A prominent Al-Qaida militant on Wednesday threatened to attack Chinese targets in "reprisal" for the July 5 riots in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

He urged Uygurs in Xinjiang to "make serious preparations" for a "holy war" against the Chinese government and called on fellow Muslims for support.

Abu Yahya al-Libi, in a video posted on an Islamist website yesterday, called for "a true return to their (Uygurs) religion and ... serious preparation for jihad in the path of God the Almighty and to carry weapons ..."

He urged the Muslim world to "support them (the Uygurs) with all they can".

It was not the first time a terrorist group has threatened to attack Chinese targets after the July 5 riots, in which nearly 200 civilians, most of them Han Chinese, were killed.

In mid-July, Al-Qaida's Algerian-based offshoot, Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), issued a call for "reprisals".

AQIM pledged to target the 50,000 Chinese workers in Algeria as well as Chinese projects and workers across northwest Africa, said the London-based international consultancy Stirling Assynt.

The Chinese embassy in Algeria then issued a statement on its website urging Chinese organizations and citizens in Algeria to be on alert.

Justin Crump, head of terrorism and country risk with Stirling Assynt, told China Daily: "Although AQIM appears to be the first arm of Al-Qaida to officially state they will target Chinese interests, others are likely to follow".

In August, the leader of a group calling itself the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) urged Muslims to attack Chinese interests worldwide.

TIP has claimed violent attacks in the past, including the bombing of two public buses in Shanghai in May last year.

What's Up in my city today? Ancient Mammoth Exhibition

Meet again dear, and today i want to share about what's up in my city lately.
To celebrating our national day, the city was held an exhibition about the Ancient Mammoth which held nowadays until 6 month ahead, so if you have a change to visit my city, don't miss it watching the exhibition here at GSC (Guangdong Science Centre).

Do you know what the mammoth is? hihihi it's a joke dear. Mammoth is a close relative family with elephants which died out at the end of the Ice Age about 4,500 years ago. Mammoth is the largest mamal's ever live in this world. They were appear around 800.000 years ago, and disappeared around 2.500 years before our era. These giant creature were live during the ice age, as we can see they body were covered by long back or brown hair. The Mammoth is the last ancient creature disappeared.

In this exhibition there are two mammoth (which has arrived) and already displayed on the exhibition. One is 18,000 year old mammoth Yukagir and the other one is 40,000 year old Oymiakon, so fantastic you know...

The story of those mammoth if i am not mistaken, the Yukagir was the first world discovered mammoth, and still remains where revealed and also been preserved frozen. The other one the Oymiakon was found in August 2004 and was born over 40,000 years ago.

Not Like an usual exhibition, this exhibition presents it well kept specimens, for instance, most of the beasts' veins are still apparent and in good condition, so to keep it as it was, the exhibition is preparing 5 million RMB (China Currency) for a special icebox which designed in Japan to used in this mammoths exhibition. The icebox combines some of the most advanced technology for preservation and heat insulation. Although it has only one transparent window, it's enough for us to appreciate and admire these wonders creature from the past.

The exhibition it self is located in the Guangdong Science Center and already open to the public since 26 September 2009, and remain for 6 months, so its better you hurry to watch this....

Guangzhou History

Dear my friends and visitor, In Order to welcome the 60 years founded day of china anniversary on 1st October 2009, hereby i want to share the story about my city. I hope this little story will adding a little knowledge about my city Guangzhou.

Guangzhou or simplified chinese name 广州 (Canton) and also known as Kwangchou is located in southern part of People's Republic of China (PRC); Many people is taken wrong and about this city. This city is not a province, but its a sub provincial city and the capital of Guangdong Province. The city is a major port of the Pearl River Delta, heading to the South China Sea, and is located only about 120 km (75 miles) northwest of Hong Kong, and Guangzhou is the third most populous metropolitan area in mainland China. The official estimate of the metropolitan area's population at end 2006 by the provincial government was 9,754,600. Guangzhou's urban land area is the third largest in China, rank only after Beijing and Shanghai.

Since Guangzhou is located on at 112°57'E to 114°3'E and 22°26'N to 23°56'N in the south, our climate is a humid subtropical climate influenced by the Asian monsoon. In the summer just a few days passed away, we have Summers with wet and high temperatures high humidity and a high heat index. Winters are mild, dry and sunny and no snow, this is the most i like about my city hihihi.

Guangzhou became a part of China in the 3d century B.C. The first known city built at the site of Guangzhou was Panyu founded in 214 BC. The city has been continuously occupied since that time. Panyu was expanded when it became the capital of the Nanyue Kingdom in 206 BC.

In 111 BC the Han Dynasty annexed Nanyue , and Panyu became a provincial capital and remains so until this day. In 226 AD, the city however became the seat of the Guang Prefecture (廣州 Guangzhou). Therefore, "Guangzhou" was the name of the prefecture, not of the city. However, people grew accustomed to calling the city Guangzhou, instead of Panyu hihihi.

The Nation of Hindu and Arab merchants reached Guangzhou in the 10th century, and the city became the first Chinese port regularly visited by European traders. The Portuguese were the first Europeans to arrive to the city by sea, establishing a monopoly on the external trade out of its harbor by 1511. But, they were later expelled from their settlements in Guangzhou, but instead granted use of Macau as a trade base with the city in 1557. Portuguese in Macau, Spanish in Manila, and Armenians and Muslims from India were already actively trading in the port by the 1690s, they would keep a near monopoly of foreign trade in the region until the arrival of the Dutch in the early seventeenth century.

In the 18th century the French and English British East India ships began frequenting the port. Trading, however, was restricted until the Treaty of Nanjing (1842) following the Opium War between Britain and China. The treaty opened four new treaty ports, allowing British merchants to trade in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Ningbo, and Shanghai in addition to Guangzhou and which opened the city to foreign trade.

By the middle of the 18th century, Guangzhou had become as one of the world's great trading ports under the 13 Factories, which was a distinction it maintained until the outbreak of the Opium Wars in 1839 and the opening of other ports in China in 1842. The privilege during this period made Guangzhou one of the top 3 cities in the world.

Nowadays As labor costs increased in Hong Kong, manufacturers owner opened their new plants in the cities of Guangdong province including Guangzhou. As the largest city in one of China's wealthiest provinces, Guangzhou attracts farmers from the countryside looking for job in the factory. Cantonese links to overseas Chinese and beneficial tax reforms of the 1990s have aided my city's growth rapidly.

Today, my city had a suburb underground railway Guangzhou Metro (MRT). The first line of Guangzhou Metro opened in 1997, Guangzhou is the fourth city in Mainland China which have an underground railway system, instead of Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. Currently the underground network is made up of four lines, covering a total length of 116 km, while another four lines are under construction and must be completed in 2010 before the Asian Games. A long term plan is to make the city's underground system expand over 500 km by 2020 with 15 lines in operation.

If we want to go to Hongkong is easy, we can use Express fast train. Express trains depart from the Guangzhou East railway station Gǔangzhōu Dōngzhàn and arrive at the Hung Hom KCR station in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The route is approximately 182 km in length and the journey takes less than two hours.

Other transportation is ferry service including an overnight steamer service, which takes eight hours, an also high-speed catamaran service which takes three hours, to the China Ferry Terminal or Macau Ferry Pier in Hong Kong. We depart from Nansha Pier located in the distant Nansha District outside the city centre, is also operating six daily 75-minute catamaran services to Hong Kong.
