The monthly identifiers for the E-mini S&amp;P futures contracts are H for March, M for June, U for September and Z for December.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The margin requirements for E-minis are much less than the normal contract. The day trading margin is less than the margin to hold an overnight position in S&amp;P 500 E-mini Futures contract. If you are a new E-mini trader you be careful as traders are expected to pay for the difference between the margins for the entry and exit points. In case you lose at the end of the day you are likely to pay in a big way.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; All futures contracts are settled daily (assigned a final value price). Based on this settlement price, the values of all positions are marked to the market each day after the official close. Your account is then either debited or credited based on how well your positions fared in that days trading session. In other words, as long as your positions remain open, cash will either come into your account or leave your account based on the change in the settlement price from day to day.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This system gives futures trading a rock-solid reputation for creditworthiness because losses are not allowed to accumulate without some response being required. It is this mechanism that brings integrity to the marketplace. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Leverage: Leverage can produce large profits in relation to the amount of your initial margin if you speculate in futures and the market moves in your favor. However, you also could lose your initial margin if the market moves against your position. The effect of price changes is magnified because futures markets are highly leveraged. You typically pay the price in full with stocks (without leverage) or on margin (50 percent leverage).&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Suppose you buy one E-mini S&amp;P 500 index futures contract when the index is trading at 1000 and you have decided to put $10,000 into your futures account. Your initial margin requirement for that one contract is $3,500.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You could realize a profit of $2,500 (50 points - $50) if the index increases 5 percent, to 1050 from 1000. Conversely, a 50-point decline would produce a $2,500 loss.  Each one-point change in the index represents a $50 gain or loss because the value of the futures contract is $50 times the index. The $2,500 increase represents a 25% return on your initial investment of $10,000. It is a 71% return on your initial margin deposit of $3,500. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; An increase or decrease of only 5 percent in the index could result in a substantial gain or loss in your account in either case.  Thats the power of leverage. Similarly a decline would eat up 25% of your original $10,000. It is 71% of your initial margin.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Indeed, leverage is the key distinctive aspect of futures trading as compared with stock trading. It makes your money work harder and produces more in a shorter period of time when everythings going your way, than if you paid for everything in full, up front. In such a situation leverage can be a beautiful thing.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; But there is a dark side to leverage, too. For example, assume you use $5,000 in your account to buy an E-mini S&amp;P 500 contract worth $50,000. Instead of going up, however, prices fall by 10 percent and the contracts value drops to $45,000. Your $5,000 is completely gone. Unless you get out of the position with an offsetting sale when your maintenance margin level is violated, youll be obligated to put up even more money if the market keeps moving against you. Leverage is the one ingredient that can produce either horror stories or happy endings. You can open a small position before the break, then buy another position immediately after the break and, finally, open an additional position at the time of a small fall in prices during the correction, following the break. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 4. Trading time frames&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 1). Forex trading strategies, based on long positions, i.e., ranging from several days to several months. It is best to use this tactic in the presence of strong trends. At the same time, analyze short-term scales. Be sure to use in addition to technical analysis also the fundamental analysis, which is perfectly suited for long timescales.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 2). Medium-term trends, up to several days. Medium-term positions are more stable for profit, although the analysis for the decision-making is more complex in this case. It is also very important to choose the right time of opening and closing positions. When you open medium-term positions, be sure to not only use technical analysis but also fundamental. Pluses: there is no risk of fundamental news and the changes in prices at the time of your absence. Disadvantages: high risk of adverse movements in prices requires constant monitoring and concentration throughout the day. Basically, if a trader uses the data on a number of sellers and buyers in the market, that data will give the trader the needed information about where the market seems to go. Super-short-term trading could also be used with breaks and rollbacks. Super-short-term trading is highly risky, and thus it better suits professional traders and market-makers. It prevents the shin bone from moving forward over the thigh bone. If it tears, it can be instantly painful and can lead to structural damage.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; A torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) can cause your knee to collapse during strenuous activity. Not only is this immediately dangerous, it can lead to repeated collapse, causing cartilage damage and arthritis.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Fortunately, damaged ligaments can be replaced. ACL reconstructive surgery replaces your old anterior cruciate ligament with a new one. This new ligament could come from you (autograft) or from a cadaver (allograft).&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you use an autograft, it will probably be taken from the front of your knee. This is called the patellar tendon. It may also come from your hamstring. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Both types of grafts are good. There are different pluses and minuses to each. This allows your surgeon to see, not only the torn ACL , but also any other problems you may be having with your knee. These problems can be addressed during your ACL reconstruction. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; There will be a few other incisions in addition to the poke-hole. First, if you are using your own tissue, an incision will need to be made to remove it. This is rather a larger incision. Then a few smaller incisions will be made to access and remove your damaged tissue. Your new tissue will be inserted via bone tunnels. It will be placed perfectly and secured with screws or a variety of surgical fasteners as appropriate.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Once the surgery is complete, your incisions will be cared for and your knee will be dressed. You will wake up from the anesthesia, and watch a movie of your knee surgery with your surgeon.
