Due to the 2020 Lockdown I have had extra time to run a 5E game for some old hands and some new(ish) players , This is their story.

I apologise for the audio quality on this video , craig that we use to record seperate audio has been crashing out due to the massive increase in internet traffic I believe. SO we only have the OBS audio source to work with. Craig provides indivdual audio tracks for each person, I attempt to remove as much background noise as I can although This is still a very amateur production. Because of this I have silenced some of the background audio I hope you still can get some enjoyment from this video.

Old Men Get Savage EP 1 - The Soulstealer Box

Please note this is an unmoderated group of real life friends and there are some adult themes and swearing.

Myself and two friends attempt to learn to use savage worlds and fantasy grounds. This is the first test and the tokens broke half way through and I (The GM) forgot several rules and we learned as we went.
We played the one sheet available free from pinnacles website, using SWADE only as that is all I currently have on steam.
I edited out two long sections where I was on the fantasy grounds discord channel for 15 minutes trying to work out why the combat tracker stopped working.
I also forgot what the word for shaken for most of the test ;/

POMA (Pulled Outa My Ass) Heroquest rules Inspired by FATE, Heroquest and Savage worlds*
Describe the scene and outline the goals.
Player roll any skill or rune etc, GM rolls a number of actions , some NPCS get 2 or more rolls.
Succeses Crit = 3 Special = 2 Success = 1 Fails Fail = 1 Fumble = 3.
Compare sucesses vs failures to see how the round progresses.
If combat, the difference is wounds caused. Otherwise describe how the players win or loose the round.
Characters have 4 wound levels 1 = minor 2 = major 3 = severe 4 = mortal.
Make the rest up based on the rolls..

Our epic heroes in training have to succeed in the Agimori great hunt ritual, proving that they are at least as good as an 8 year old agimori child.

Before they hunt the beast using traditional ritualistic agimori weapons (giggle) they have a night of dancing, feasting singing and ceremony , basically they are 1 disney princess short of a 3 year olds birthday party.
