Great find! These would be so perfect for little Mugsy to use in the yard. I think he'd actually use them instead of my furniture! Especially the White, Yellow, and orange ones. He is attracted to peeing on light colored objects for some reason. Too bad I have white furniture!

I think Yoder looks like an OBB in that picture! Sounds like Mugsy too. It's always nice to hear a happy ending to a tough situation. I wish people we not so greedy and breed responsibily. I'm afraid they will ruin it for all the good breeders out there.

Mugsy is growing up pretty fast and is such a bundle of fun! Spring is around the corner so both dogs enjoy being outside more but on the downside that is the season of MUD. So we'll be cleaning all four's for the next two - three months.

There is also a ton of activity in the neighborhood. They are tearing down all the homes next to us and building new ones so we have lots of people and equipment next door. Then across the street they are developing a new mixed-use development where the shopping center is and since it is over a swamp - we are listening to lots of pounding. The dogs have a few new things to watch in the coming months.

Mugsy's 2009 Resolutions:

Stop marking everything (or my fuzzy dice are gone)
Stop licking Azia's bottom like it is a tootsie pop (even if there are some similarities)
Get a walk in everyday (except for the really, really cold days brr...)
Do more back flips this year! (I did at least one in 2008)
Compete in a dog show (get ready IOEBA!)
Learn a new trick (turn around is almost perfect)
Keep up the lovin' (for instant blood pressure reduction in my humans)
Keep my tongue to myself (not everyone wants to make out all the time)
Reduce WWD activites (Wild Wrestling Dogs)
And fianlly...post more blog entries! (we knew you'd like this one) :)

Mum likes to call me diggle - donno why but it's a new name all the time -I guess this week we are DIGGLES. Any way walks are fun we don't go on enough bu tonight was 70 and wonderful. Too bad Ichewed up my 26 dollar harness because some left in on the floor.

Anyway I have a new den to share... mum n dud not to hoppy about it but...???WHATEVER!!!

This is Lola, Mugsy's 'cousin', who is a boxer. They had a lot of fun playing by the pool a few weeks ago. Lola is about 9 months old in this picture and is skin and bones as many boxers are. I think it is interesting to see how Mugsy compares to her since he is filling out. He is little but a solid dog. He is due for the vet so I'll have to report his official weight - I'm guessing it is 40lbs or more.

...but you stil wuv me rite?

Wishing we had TIVO since we have a birthday party tonight, at least Mugsy will see it as he has a TV in his kennel/playroom. I even remembered to put peanut butter in his kong and toss it in the freezer so he has a nice treat for the show. It surely will be one of the last nice and warm days here in Minnesota.

I saw this on the Old Boston Cha t board today and had to share. It is nice to find remedies for minor issues the pets are having. I use it during cold and flu season as well as a tummy-tonic.

Rory and Mugsy playing in the backyard. He would chase the lure all day if we had time. It's a great way to wear him out. It does make it hard to rake or sweep now since he thinks all items with a handles are toys.

**Update** This actually happened in April. Sad either way...
I stopped home for lunch today to finish my 'noodle' medals for the closing ceremonies of my workplace Olympics today -(Go Team Italy!). The Martha Stewart Show was on and she was commenting on the loss of her famous Chow Chow, Paw Paw, who passed away on Saturday.

Our hearts go out to her and those who were close to Paw Paw. I was amazed by her ability to not burst into tears as she shared stories and pictures of her favorite companion over the last 14 years. My Amadeus(Iguana)was 14 years old when he passed away this past winter and it breaks your heart to not have them around. Martha has two french bulldogs to keep her company now, we think Martha has great taste in pets! Plus would guess that Martha allows her dogs on the counter!
