Last Saturday night in the town on Den Bosch just outside of Amsterdam in Holland, the world witnessed it’s biggest trance event ever, A State of Trance 500 with over than 30 000 attendance that flew in from all over the globe! The event originated from a radio show hosted by world’s number DJ Armin van Buuren who has been winning the IDMA Award for the world’s best dance radio show for the last few years and followed by millions of people from around the planet. Last Saturday’s event was one of the 5 series events which were organized in 5 different continents to celebrate the 500th episode of the show, with a lineup of 26 International DJs which were chosen by Armin van Buuren himself. Looking back all of the hard work and time spent running around to find just the right Indian themed stores has paid off nicely. The first in line of our newly inaugurated Samsara sessions, which will be paying homage to good music, a long standing culture, and most importantly - You, was highly well received at Ku club. We did our best to create a different atmosphere than that experienced usually and through visual aids and a very specific set of decorations, we strongly feel that we have managed to convey that change in ambient. And now our acknowledgements; firstly we would like to thank all of those who invested their time and effort during these past weeks, and also anybody who worked restlessly during this past weekend so that Samsara would turn out just great. Ready with a new track to be released on the 14th of February on Armada Records, ‘Man in Denial’ is Tenishia’s second collaboration with Aneym from Poland and the follow up to Malta’s Best Dance Production of 2010 (MMAs) ‘Stranger to Myself’. The track has already received full support by the World’s number 1 DJ Armin van Buuren as he played it twice in his Radio Show and was also voted 2nd place by the public as ‘Future Favorite’ following a track by Armin himself! Full of emotion, catchy lyrics, and melodies that send shivers down your spine, ‘Man in Denial’ is expected to be big in the Trance scene around the World as well as Maltese local radios! Tenishia we’re expected to tour Australia at the start of the year but some of the gigs fell through as the Adelaide NYE festival, ‘Heaven on Earth’ got cancelled after the promoter ran away with the ticket money and ruined the whole plan. The duo managed to rank on the 207th place on the DJ Mag Polls this year which is an excellent result when considering that there were over than 30,000 DJs from all over the world being voted in these polls. It is by far the best result ever obtained by any Maltese DJ and the closest to the Top 100 DJ Chart! But Tenishia are not happy enough with just this... Full of determination and motivated like never before, the duo promise bigger things to their local followers which are more than proud that for the first time ever in the Maltese Dance History a local artist is making such big achievements internationally. Tenishia are supported by the biggest names in the planet such as Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Markus Schulz and Paul Oakenfold, are already popular in various countries around the world with their music and DJ sets and are usually referred to as ‘The Boys from Malta’ in several reviews. Features on international magazines about Tenishia are becoming quite common, especially in DJ magazines but lately the Maltese duo has also appeared with an article about an event in Malta on the KLM Airlines Magazines which is viewed by over a million people using the popular Dutch Airlines. 2010 has been more than good to Tenishia, as they have released several hits worldwide, played in prestigious events like the Amsterdam Dance Event opening and also nominated for the ‘Best Dance Production Award’ locally in the Malta Music Awards with two tracks...
