I've FINALLY arrived at famous kitchen of one of the finest bakers and sweetest bloggers in all the world...Sugar (aka: Judy) of Sugar Queen's Dream!

Let's see what kinda trouble I can stir up while I'm here...

I've already discovered that the swirllllllll setting on Sugar's KitchenAid® Mixer is quite thrilllllllling ~ Woo-HoooOOooo!

OooOoooh look!....it's Sugar's Booby Cup!

I think it suits me to a tea.

But I prefer coffee.

With lots 'n lotsa cream and 2 big lumps of sugar, of course!

Welllllll...he ain't no Pirate...but Sugar's son is still pretty dang sweet!

YIKES! I really don't like the way that lil' dog is eye'n me...

But any respectable kitchen wouldn't be complete without a fridge full of photos, magnets, my business card...and of course, MEEEEEEE!!!

So I'll hang in there for YOU Sugar!

My bodacious Widnes, England Chaperon, Claire,

successfully completed the Moonwalk ~

(a 26.2 mile powerwalk (wearing a decorated BRA) to raise money and awareness for and about Breast Cancer) ~ and I am sooooo proud of her,

I could just BUST!

Three women (one is engaged to be married, one is a mistress, and one has been married for over 20 years) were chatting about their relationships over lunch one day. They decided it would be fun to surprise their men that night by wearing a black leather bra, stiletto heels, and a mask over their eyes. They agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes. Here's how it all went...

The engaged friend: "My boyfriend came over and found me with the black leather bodice, tall stilettos and mask. He saw me and said, "You are the woman of my dreams. I love you!" Then we made love all night long."

The mistress: "Me too! I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather bodice, heels and mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had wild sex all night!"

Due to circumstances beyond even MY amazing control,

I bring you yet another re-post of what I was doing exactly one year ago...on June 22, 2008, I was just hanging up my udderly delightful visit with The Posse in Manchester England...and getting ready to embark upon one of the strangest weeks of my life (so far)...a cup-busting, strap-stretching experience at the ~~DP Concentration Camp~~ beautiful Papersurferville Estate in Southern England...and judging by the pieces of grit and gravel I am STILL finding lodged in my delicate fibers, 'twas an ordeal from which I might not EVER recover!...not to mention my eyeballs!!!!...but...THAT is another story...so please stay tuned! (Phew!)

Today my visit with my fabulous 70's Chaperon came to an end, and The Posse turned out in full force to say goodbye!

Have you ever seen a more beautiful assemblage of support before?!

An especially touching moment came when Michelle (the leader of The Posse) presented me with some souvenirs...then reached out and taught me the Secret Posse Handshake as the rest of The Gang sang

"~~Hands~~ Bras Across the Water!" *sniff-sniff*

Then, much to my utter astonishment...ALL of the goddesses appeared to wish me well as I embark upon my next exciting adventure!

(I hear I'm going to visit Daddy Papersurfer.)

As I was leaving, I heard them all chanting....an ancient spell...
something about....I'm not sure....but I think it was "Good Luck."Apparently they think I'm gonna need it?!?

Yes, I'm reachin' back into the archives and reposting what I was doing exactly one year ago today...I think it's adventure worth repeating 'cuz it's not often I get to rub shoulders with The Mayor!

OK, well...not really. Actually, he's pretty much your Average Joe...but we've nicknamed him "The Mayor" because he seems to know EVERYONE in town (and visa versa)...just walking a few blocks down the street to go to dinner with him took us about 2 hours because we had to stop, chit-chat and hob-nob with every other person along the way! (I totally loved it.) Plus, he's quite charming...and took excellent care of me and my Chaperons whilst in Petaluma. He'd certainly get MY vote if he ran for Mayor. (And if bras could vote.)

He recently restored this old drinking fountain to working order

in downtown Petaluma. (Ain't it purty?)

Not that I have an alcohol problem or anything,

but I found the following information very interesting...

This concrete drinking fountain was erected in 1891 by the Women's Christian Temperance Union – an organization dedicated to banning the sale and drinking of alcohol. The members were urged to erect drinking fountains in their towns so that men could get a drink of water without entering saloons and staying for stronger drinks.

*No wonder it stopped working YEARS ago!!

Looking pretty good for being so old... And it works like a charm!

Today is (finally!) one of my bestest blogging buddy's birthdays!

HAPPY (forty-something'th) BIRTHDAY SPEEDCAT HOLLYDALE!

I had the good fortune of hangin' around Speedy in Minnesota last year. Having never been Chaperoned by a man before, I was a little nervous...but from the moment I laid straps on him, I could tell Speedy was nuthin' but a great big ol' friendly pussycat!...PLUS, not only is he a prolifical blogger, prize winning author, PhD genious (of modern medicine AND html stuff,) famous golf pro, chicken connoisseur, sherriff, blacksmith, and a whole bunch more stuff I can't remember.......He even lined my cups with plastic wrap before using me as a donut launcher!

I mean, really - how many guys can you say THAT about?!?

Yes, Speedcat Hollydale is not only a perfect gentleman,

but a NICE GUY whom I'm proud to call my friend.

This time last year, I was in San Francisco, California

A long time ago, when MedStudentWife and I first met in the blogosphere

(I was attracted to her blog post about a Traveling Deep Fryer!)

...she promised me that if I ever visited her in Paradise, (aka: Ottawa, Canada)

she'd sew a pair nice, warm, fur cup-liners for me!
And true to her word....she did!

Aren't these the nicest fur cup liners you ever saw?

And they are, cross my heart, every bit as warm and cozy as they look!

Easter Greetings from Paradise! Woo-Hoo!

Looks like Spring has finally sprung here in chilly Ottawa, Canada!

And seein's how I nearly froze my DD's off whilst hangin' 'round

Fidel and MedStudentWife...

it's not a moment too soon! Actually, this week I've felt pretty dang toasty ever since MedStudentWife

made me some nice, warm, fur cups-liners...and I even helped!

Looks like my blog-mistress isn't the only one learning to use scissors now, eh?

Speaking of which.....
Tit finally got in on the Beauty Skool action during the

"Wet Hair Styling" lesson.

And while her roller-set isn't very exciting...

she was VERY excited not to have to endure pincurls...

and finger waves like poor Tat!

A new face joined Tit and Tat to help with the "Skincare" lesson... She's blind and hairless and doesn't even have a name....

BUT I'm calling her "Lucky" 'cuz she gets facials EVERY day,
and her skin is unbelievably smoooooth!

Oooh, and the blog-mistress got an unexpected lesson in "blow-drying" after spilling coffee all over her workbook.

And she did a damn-fine job too!

Just look at all that volume she achieved!

I'm so proud, I could almost forgive her for not posting ANYTHING on my blog last week!

Another Weekend In Paradise (And Beauty Skool Update #3)

Amazingly enough...

during her FIRST WEEK in Beauty Skool,

not only was my blog-mistress allowed to real scissors

on actual hair ...but the next week they trusted her to mix chemicals and give Tat a perm!

Which fortunately turned out looking like this...

Meanwhile....as for me...
My Ottawan Chaperons have been busy exposing me to life in Canada...

and, brrrrrrr....it sure is nippy in Paradise!

Thank goodness Fidel showed me the view from inside the car!
And by the professional manner in which he touched my sensitive underwires,
I can tell he's gonna make a fine doctor someday...just as long as he remembers to keep his hands warm!

His wife, however, has FREEZING cold hands!
So I'm really glad she remembered her gloves!
Too bad she forgot her sunglasses though, eh?
