One Year Later and It's a Celebration For Me!!! My Oh My, Look How I have Grown :)

May 11th 2012, do you all remember what happened that day? Do you remember that pretty little girl up there??? You should!!! BUT if you can’t remember be sure to click here May 11th, 2012 Yep that's when this little princess came into this world! A whole 2 pounds 3 ounces!! Now look at me 367 days later weighing in at almost 20 pounds!! Think about that now for just one moment and you too will realize how amazing that whole last line was, 26 weeks aka 3 months premature and here I am today perfectly happy and healthy. A LOT has happened during these past 367 days, and as you know 99% of all of it has been written in this blog, aka my life story. This blog started exactly one year ago today, as a gift to mommy for mother’s day, it was a way of letting her know through my own voice (aka Daddy) that I was going to be ok, and even though she could not see me for the first 2 days of my life that I was going to fight to be with her and my family. It was also a gift to you people, my readers, my family and friends, and everyone else that needed to know how I was doing and how I was going to make it through all of this to see myself at home where I belong. It was also a gift to all the other families out there with preemies of their own that needed to know how all of this works, how to show them that with just a little bit of love and hope that they too could be rewarded with seeing their little preemie come home for the first time. Sadly though not all preemies were as lucky as I am. Some, simply put, were just not ready enough to come out and were sadly were never able to make it home. This was quite simply the saddest and worst thing about being in the ICU for so long. I believe there is a reason for everything, and even though I do not know why I was chosen to be one of the lucky ones, I know I will do everything I can to have an impact in this world. This was why last week’s walk was soooo important; it gives us preemies a chance at life. Most babies come out at 9 months but sometimes something’s happen that no one can control and it’s the people like the March Of Dimes that help make the best of a scary situation. So like I said last week I will continue to spread the word for the March For Babies Walk every year so I can know in my heart that every preemie born from here on out will have the same chance I did and will hopefully have the chance to come home for the first time…

Wow look at me now! Crazy what a years worth of beauty sleep will do :) Normally a year would seem like a SUPER LONG TIME for a baby but realistically time flew once I was home. The 99 days in the hospital on the other hand did not; everyday in there was a new adventure of good news and bad news. But all of those bad times were always followed up with good because for the power of love and hope from all of you. I have said it before on here a million times I would not be where I am today without your love and prayers. I fought to be home but you all willed me to be there as well. Every time I had something bad happen to me it was fixed, cured or solved very quickly. It is almost quite remarkable how I made it this far virtually unscaved from my entire time in the ICU. If you would look at me now I DO IN FACT look like a one year old baby, even though inside I really am only 9 months old. I grew and grew and now here I am without a setback to even mention any longer. This all cannot be just because of dumb luck, there is a higher power up there somewhere and I am eternally grateful for it :) My blog may be technically ending today one year later after its inception but my life is just beginning, it’s like I said when I first got home, one chapter is over and the next is just beginning all I have to do is just turn the page :) Some of you have made this blog part of your weekly routine and I’m sorry that I have to end it, but I promise to always update it with my new accomplishments and achievements and to promote my March for Babies walks every year. Now the posts from here on out probably will not be as long as before but I promise you will still feel like a part of my life when you read them, and that is what this is all about :) You are ALL a part of my life and thank you all with all of my heart for joining me on this incredible journey :) So here we go! 133 posts later and 42 thousand visits from people around the world and we are at my first birthday party!! The perfect last chapter from my journey home to my beginnings at home :)

Look at me in my birthday outfit! I'm just hanging out with my good friend Heighlee as you can see :) But I will get to my birthday party here in a sec. Now this week went by as most of the other weeks have with one GIANT exception!! I SLEPT THROUGH THE WHOLE NIGHT!!! Almost 5 days in a row!! Only twice last week did I actually wake up for a bottle!! I don't honestly know what changed but I know mommy and daddy have to be loving the new me :) Because of my new ability of being able to sit on my bottom all by myself and my recent attempts on pulling myself up using my crib bars daddy has lowered my bed almost all the way to the bottom :( So that means my crib (AKA Jail Cell) is now once again too tall for me to scale :( Oh well guess I just need to grow some more again so I can figure out how to sneak out of my crib at night to play with my toys :) For the most part I think it has finally sunk in that when it is bed time, IT IS BED TIME and that means just go to sleep and get it over with so by the time I wake up I can be back at it again :) This past week i have been really smiley and very happy, no real fussiness from me, all I do is sit on the ground and play with my toys and TRY to crawl, AND GUESS WHAT!!!! YEP THAT'S RIGHT!!! I still can't crawl :( UGH!! I really wanted to master this BEFORE my birthday party and alas I STILL have not been able to get past just bouncing on my knees and lunging forward, Mama and Grandma both try to help me but I just can't seem to get these arms and hands to move in the right order. :( Oh well try and try again I guess :) Still no more teeth either and that was pretty much it for my week so Bye bye everybody!!!!

Ok Just joking now I will get to the PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTY!!!!!!!!! YES!!! My FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!!!! YES !!!! THE ONE THAT IS JUST FOR ME!!!! Woooohoooo <---- as you can see it may have been a couple days ago but the excitement over it still has not left me :) Soooo with out further ado here is what happened at my party!! First let me show you all my pretty decorations and my cake!! :)

Here you see the decorations my mama made, she printed up a picture from every month since I was born, she got the idea from my auntie Vicki, looks great mama :) Also on the table is all the mother's day gifts I had my mama make for all our guests that were mamma's too :)

Finally my Auntie Krista came too and brought her kids Brookie and Jesten :) Thank you all for coming and if I forgot someone I am really sorry but my little brain just can't remember everything ya know!! :)

And now its time to get this party started!! As you can see above I got to sit in my little throne and I was pretty interested in the decor around my eating tray! So much so that I grabbed it and completely pulled it off!! Then I proceeded to try and eat it!! Eventually Grandma Berta came by and took it from me so I could get my hands on the one thing I TRUELY wanted to try out MORE THAN ANYTHING, MY CAKE!!!!

FINALLY!! At LONG LAST I get to try my VERY OWN cake!!! This sugary goodness was finally within reach!! After a birthday song just for me and a candle blowing that mama helped out with, I reached out grabbed me a handful of this forbidden desert!! And you will NEVER believe what happen next!! I got myself 2 bites of this sugary dream and BOOM I threw it all up :( Yep EVERYTHING :( I got me a sugar rush that my little body had no clue what to do with and out it all came :( And ya pretty much after that I was over the whole cake thing :( I will have to try this all again later because that was pretty disappointing :( And don't you worry grandma Rolene it wasn't the cake just my upset tummy... UGH! I wanted it soooooo bad too!! But alas it didnt work out for me this time around but you mark my words cake we WILL meet again.... :)

Well after the unexpected cake fiasco with my tummy, I was escorted away from my throne to the living room with my mama and all my presents!!! Here you can see my mommy with Krista and Sam checking out my presents!! :) Now of course I was more intested in trying to eat the paper instead of what was actually underneath the wrapping so mama had to help me out!! So we all gathered around while I went one by one with opening all my gifts :)

Yep here I go again trying to eat the paper!! I think my mama had to spend more time pulling ribbons and paper out of my mouth than actually trying to open my presents with me!! Oh well. I was confused, it looked like a GIANT cake and ya I got excited hehehe. Now if i was going to tell you EVERYTHING I got for my birthday that would be one REALLY long blog post so I'll just try to sum it up. First of all I got LOTS of pretty clothes for the summer time :) Lots of pretty sun dresses and hats and shoes to go with it too :) I even got some sun glasses too!! (You remember that picture from above!) And I think everyone noticed how much I LOVE the water in previous blog posts because I got at least 7 different bathing suits!! Oh man now I am REALLY excited to get out in the sun and try on all these beautiful outfits :) Besides all the wonderful outfits, I got me some cool new toys too!! I have a bear that sings me songs and even knows my name! A crazy worm that spells out the ABC's for me, a beautiful mirror toy and makes me feel pretty, (like I needed a mirror for that!!) and even a crazy Dinosaur that shots balls up in the air for me to catch :) Very FUN stuff indeed!!

I also got a VERY beautiful blanket that was made just for me, some swimming diapers (for all my bathing suits of course!) a book I can chew on thats all about animals, a very pretty stuffed animal bunny I can snuggle with :), a comfy seat thingie I can use in shopping carts and at restaurants to keep me safe and comfy, and finally 2 different walkers!!! One for learning to walk and one for me to move around in until I learn to walk!! (But I need to learn to crawl first before I can use these ugh!!) All and all I was a very spoiled baby!! I LOVE ALL my gifts everyone and I thank you all so much :) I cant wait to strut my stuff in all my new clothes :) I'll be sure to have my mommy take all kinds of pictures with me in them to send you all :) It's days like this I feel like the luckiest and most blessed baby in the whole world :)

Here you can see all the cards I got on this special day of mine :) I also got this awesome stuffed animal bear that everyone got to sign, kinda like a guest book :) I am gonna really enjoy looking back on all of this later in life :) Thank you to all you who joined me on my special day, and to all you that could not make it I completely understand, you were all there with me in my heart trust me :) It's been one heck of a ride this year and once again you guys were the reason why it was all worth it :) My family and I will never forget this past year, we all grew closer together, more closely than ever before and now I completely understand what the power of love can do. I could not have asked for a better beginning or a better family, or a better group of friends and fans. Blessed I am and trust me I will never forget that :) Be sure to check back in on this blog from time to time, Im sure I will have some kind of update worth reading every now and then :) I can't just completely stop writing to you guys I will go crazy!! Thank you all again for making feel soooo special and incredibly happy, the kind comments, the donations, and the contributions to my March for Babies team will never be forgotten and I dont even know how I can ever begin to thank you all, just know I always appreciated everything you all did and I love you all for it!! Nothing compares to the unwavering support from you all, dating all the way back to beginning of all of this, and so for the millionth time thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!! :)

Now I will end this post in the same form I ended it one year ago today, as a dedication for my mommy and all mommy's everywhere :) This picture is the first time my mother and I ever met, and I will never forget the smiles and warms touches of love she gave to me for the first time. There is NOTHING compared to a mothers love (Sorry Daddy) and I am extremely thankful for you mommy :) And do me a favor mommy don't you EVER think that the reason I was a preemie was because of you either!! I wanted out as soon as possible for one reason and one reason only to MEET YOU, and would you look at that I got my wish :) Even though I had to work a bit harder by myself when I got out to get home it was all worth it, it made me stronger, you made me stronger, and it made the bond between us unbreakable :) I love you with all my heart mommy and Happy Mothers day :)

It's HERE It's March of Dimes Walk For Babies Week!!

Hello everybody!! Wow what a wonderful week!!!! This week was my first EVER walk for the March of Dimes!! Now if you have been reading this blog for the past 4 months you have no doubt heard me mention that I have a team of very special people that were raising money to donate to Preemie babies and the March of Dimes Walk For Babies event. Now my team consisted of Me of course, My mommy and Daddy, My Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry and even Cousin Sammi, My Auntie Krista and Auntie Jade and Dominic, my brother Jayce and his brother Jordyn, My God Parents Amber and Chad, and their friends Sarah and O.C. and even there little one Remy! (Hey he stole my middle name!!) Also Jordyn’s Step Mama Kalia Joined in on the fun too!!! First of all I would have to say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! We raised over 500 dollars to donate to the March of Dimes!! And considering this is my first year doing this, I think we all did a VERY good job you ALL deserve a big hug and a pat on the back!!!! And once I can do either of those things you will get one!!! :) So once again thank you all!! AND a very BIG special thank you to Amber and Jade, because you two basically ran this whole thing and I could not have done it without you!!! :) They both even had T-shirts made for the big event!! And even I had my one very special one too!! See below!!

It was such a perfect day for a walk in Seattle! The weather was probably the best it has ever been in my short life and I sure loved being outside for an extended amount of time! We all rode down there with my god parents and once we got there that’s when I noticed that my whole team was there and ready to go!! Mama brought a stroller for me that I got to sit in for the first time with no car seat attached!! I was all buckled up just itching to get out and see the city! I noticed there were soooooooooooo many people there too!! Probably close to 5 thousand individuals that just want to do their part to help preemies everywhere :) You all should be very proud of yourselves! They were all there to march for a preemie that they knew or that was close to them as well, and some were even there just because they knew in their hearts that preemies need all the help they can get!! You all brought a very big smile to my very little face :)

Now when I was just a little itty bitty preemie it was real hard to not notice that I was not the only one there, at one point in time there were over 50 babies lying in their boxes near me in the NICU. We all ranged from different ages, weights and problems. Some of us just needed to be in there for a few days, and some of us wayyyyy longer! I was personally in for 99 days but I know for a fact that some were in there close to a year almost!! Yikes! And as for my 99 days there I had constant care from nurses and Dr’s 24 hours a day, if my monitor ever went off or I started to cry or even needed a diaper change I had someone there within minutes to come and save me. This is probably why mommy and daddy felt ok with me being there after a while because they knew I was getting the best medical attention in the world at the time. A lot of the reason I am here today writing this awesome blog that you all know and LOVE is because of the March of Dimes! Every year they raise millions of dollars just to give it to hospitals like the one I was in to help out with all our medical care and the constant attention we all needed! 30 years ago this was just not possible, and the mortality rate for someone of my size was not good at all :( But now I can gladly say everyone is doing everything they can daily to help us out! Yes my preemie friends and I decided to come into this world early because we were eagerly excited to meet our friends and family, little did we realize that our little bodies needed our mama to help grow us. But once we were delivered and was welcomed to the world the technology was there to save us and let us grow :) I basically owe my life to Tacoma General and the March of Dimes so EVERY year I will be doing this walk so I can make sure EVERYONE is aware that preemie babies happen daily, and they ALL need our help just as I did last May :) So for the third time THANK YOU ALL and it was an honor to have you all walk for little ole me and preemies everywhere :) Tomorrow some preemie will get the chance to come home just as I did and it’s all because of you guys: )

Now the walk was VERY fun! It lasted just over 2 hours and it consisted of a LOT of sights and sounds I have never experienced and a whole bunch of new people to meet! In fact I have NEVER seen so many people in my life! I stayed in my little stroller all strapped up while mommy and daddy took turns walking me! I got to see Key Arena, the Seattle Center, the Experience Music Project the Monorail and EVEN the SPACE NEEDLE!! And WOW is that thing huge!! I also noticed how amazingly tall all the buildings were around me, it was like fifty bajillion of my houses all stacked on top of each other!! I had so many things to look at, that at one point I was so overwhelmed I fell asleep!!! Ugh how disappointing was that! The star of the show was out for the count! But once everyone rounded the walking route and was heading back I woke up again and I got to take everything in again once more! I LOVED IT!! And next year we are going to make this even bigger!!! I am going to personally try my hardest to reach our goal of 2 thousand dollars for next year, heck I will go door to door and call peoples houses If I have to!! :) Again I had the funnest time ever, and it was awesome to be surrounded by all kinds of people with the same goals and intentions as mine :) I love you all and THANK YOU!!!

Well that was the major even of the week! But of course that was not the ONLY thing that happened. I made major strides towards crawling this week!! I can now get on my hands and knees and kinda hop forward!! So MAYBE JUST MAYBE this will be the week I make a real crawl!! God I hope so!! I wanted to be off and crawling before I turned one and that means I have only 5 days left to accomplish this!! Yikes I better get a move on! I slept waaaaaay better at night this week, mostly because I am feeling a lot better! Heck even last night I didn't wake even ONCE! Yep! For the like the 4th time in my life at home I slept through the night!! Lets see if I can do back to back nights, wish me luck on that one!! Other than that no more news to tell, still have only the 4 teeth and I still love my mum mum's!! :)

After the my March For Babies walk my god parents took me home with them so mommy and daddy could have a couple hours to themselves :) I didn't do much there, in fact the ONLY thing I did was take a looooong nap. So long in fact that Amber had to wake me up just to take me home! Once I got home we all had a BBQ and Movie night! And that means I had an Oatmeal and off to my crib for the Night ugh... Adults get to have all the good food and fun :( OH well it was a VERY busy day for me and I needed my rest anyway, I was getting real cranky towards the end of the night and I HATE when people see me at my worst :) The next day we all took a trip to Grandpa and Grandma Moisio's house!!! But before that we all went out to breakfast! As you can see below I stole my Grandpa's sunglasses So I could be more styling than him :) See Look!!

After we visited Grandpa's house we all went to Garage sales, which I think is Grandpa's favorite thing to do!! It was awfully fun spending the day with you guys and thank you again for having us over :) I Love you both!!! :) And that ladies and gentleman was my week!! And now I got some MAJOR news for you!! As I was saying earlier in 5 days I will be turning 1 and in fact on saturday its gonna be my birthday party!! And with that the following monday will be my LAST regularly scheduled blog post :( I know its been on crazy ride with me every week, and most of you will be upset and miss me, but the orignal purpose of this blog was to keep you all up to date on my well being and my life being a preemie. Well I think its safe to assume so far that I am A'ok and I am progressing just fine :) With all that being said, I still will have an itch to get on here from time to time and tell you all my news. So to save my posts from being ultra repetitive I will only come on here to report huge news or brand new achievements :) I will have either my Mamma or my God Mommy Amber post on their Facebook accounts when there is a new post so everyone will be in the know :) I truly loved doing this for all for you and I sure am gonna miss it. But I am at a point right now where my life is pretty normal and every week seems to to be the same as before. I will probably keep this going for the next 5 years or so just to keep you all involved with my life from time to time :) After that who knows, maybe I ll just delete everything and pretend this crazy blog never happened!! Hahaha ya right I cant do that, I have had 42 thousand visitors since the beginning and I think I would have ALOT of upset people :) Either way thank you all for enjoying this ride with me its been a blast conversing with you all from week to week since I have been home :) Now don't forget next week is my birthday and make sure you all pray that I can get this crawling thing nailed before then :) I love you all and again thank you for all your support and love :)

Finally before I go this week was a very tough one for me and my family, you see that orange poof of fur up there?? Well his name is Oscar, and he was my first real interaction with a doggy!! He was my mommies very good friend and the protector of my family, and sadly he had to go join his friends in doggy heaven :( This was the first real loss I have experienced in my life, and I am really sad, but poor ole Oscar was sick and just needed to finally feel peace. So Oscar I just want you to know that I will always remember you and love you sooooo much. Thank you so much for being such a loyal companion to my my mommy and always keeping safe watch on me and my family. We all will miss you dearly and I love you with all my heart and I'm grateful for the time we shared together :)

Feeling Better Now! And It's Almost Time to March For Babies!!

Well hello everybody! My week was soooooo much better than before! For two reasons, 1. I'm finally getting better!!! And 2. My Dr's appointment got cancelled!!! Dont know why but when daddy and I got there they said I didnt need shots anymore!! What an amazing feeling that was!! And to be perfectly honest that was the ONLY new news of the week! Ya not much to report here other than that! I am back to only waking up once or twice a night too so its been easier on good ole mom and dad! Also its been a whole lot of tough love lately for me when it comes to bed time. No more halo blankets for me and now when I am put to bed I AM PUT TO BED, after the first couple of nights I learned I can no longer just cry for attention any longer :( But after a couple days I fall right asleep a lot quicker than I did before. So now i am getting more sleep at night and that means a much happier baby in the morning :)

This is my reaction at the Dr's when daddy said we were going home with no shots!! Hehehe :) Anyways still no more new teeth, I now am on teething tablets and my mum mum's and so far its been a lot better than normal :) Ya and when it comes to crawling I STILL can't figure it out ugh!!! I get up on my knees real good now and try to rock myself forward but yep still cant get it :( But it looks like I know how to do push ups pretty well :) After about 5 min of trying to figure out crawling I get upset and mad and then I give up :( Ugh maybe next week!

Yep like I was saying earlier, that was about it for the week!! Which is good because I was able to rest up enough for my big March of Babies walk this weekend!! Yep in only 4 days some of my family members and my friends are gonna walk to honor and help out preemies like myself whom are stuck in the hospital beds waiting to come home! I again want to thank all of you that have pledged money to our cause and we are honored to walk for your donations :) I hope we do this every year because my family and I want to do everything we can to help out all the others in our situation. In a lot of ways I have lucked out so far in life because lets be honest I had it pretty easy, but there are many families out there that need help so my parents and I will always do everything we can to never forget where I came from and what I can do to help prevent other parents from going through what mine had to :) As you can tell this cause means a lot to me and again thank you all for your help with spreading the word!!! :) And I will see all of you that are walking with me on saturday :)

A Weekend Away From Home & I'm STILL Cranky :(

Well yep the title pretty much speaks for itself, you see that happy baby up there yep that lasted a total of 32 seconds because I had yet another rough week caused by teething and getting over my cold/ear infection. Every day that goes by for the past month I feel slightly better than the day prior and even needier :( And as always when I don’t feel great I want to be held every minute of every hour of the WHOLE DAY, and NO ONE can do that for me!!! Between my separation issues and my mouth pain I just don’t know how to calm myself down anymore, especially when I am just by myself trying to entertain myself! Mommy or Daddy will sit me on the ground to play with my toys and I am Ok as long as they are with me and watching me, but the second they move away from me I erupt!! I hope I am not always going to be this needy, because I sure don’t like this feeling! And I am pretty sure that everyone else around me is getting annoyed with it as well!! Oh well at least I am still cute!! :)

No more new teeth have popped out yet, they are still there in my mouth pushing on my gums and hurting me real bad :(. They are soooo slow to grow!! I just wish they would all come in at the same time because I can’t deal with this any longer!! I have been eating some mum-mum’s to help deal with the pain and lately that is the ONLY thing working anymore! I don’t like cold things too much, mostly because they are SUPER cold for my mouth and the shock of it all just makes me upset :( I chew on my hands but I end up hurting myself :( I try to chew on other things around me like toys but that only works so long :( So I chew on my mum-mum’s, they are a delightful treat AND a baby mouth soother :) I have been taking Tylenol as well almost DAILY and still the pain stays around :( So far I think this whole teething thing has been the worst part of my life!! I can’t sleep at night with it either, which means I STILL wake up about 2-3 times a night!! Oye I can’t wait for this nightmare to be over !!

LOOK I can hold my own bottle!! ON MY OWN TOO!!! And thats about it for this weeks achievements too!! Anyways tomorrow marks my FINAL synagis shot!!! I thought my last one was going to be the LAST but guess not the Dr. says I need one more:( Oh well at this point the thought of a shot still wouldn't hurt as bad as these crazy teeth of mine! At least I get to be weighed tomorrow to see how much bigger I have gotten in the last month and that is always good news for me!! Oh and next month I will have my 1 year Dr's appointment!! Wow a whole year has almost passed and the thought of that still blows my mind! In other news my balance has increased so much that I am able to stay up on my own all by myself with no support!! The only problems I am having now is getting back up in a sitting position once I tumble down. I'm almost there though and I'm sure I will figure that out next! Crawling is still too hard for me to figure out, but I am on my knees now in crawling position just need to figure out how to make all my arms and legs cooperate together and then I will be off and moving!! :) Also mommy is trying to teach me how to wave and do a high 5!! I try to copy her and I don't know if I am doing it right but its sure fun to try new things that makes mommy smile :)

As for the rest of my week it was all more or less the same but I did get to spend the weekend at Auntie Jade's house with my brother Jayce!! The only bad part about that is that I did have to say good bye to mommy and daddy and that doesn't make me feel so happy, but I think they both needed a break just to catch up on some sleep and other chores, and maybe a new environment for me with new things to stare at and experience would cheer me up! And for the most part it did!! For the first night we all watched some tv shows and the boys played with me till bed time and I had my normal routine of waking up 3 different times. Oye. But the next day started out real good and fun but later it got pretty bad, my teeth were hurting me terribly towards bed time so I was up almost 10 different times! And each time Jade had to rock me back to sleep :( Sorry Auntie Jade that I was such a rough guest :( But we did have fun besides all of that, plenty of time I spent playing with everyone and trying to learn new things like how to do high 5's! My goof ball brother and I had lots of fun making funny noises at each other too, he always seems to make me smile even when my mouth hurts!! :) If it makes you feel any better Jade I did only wake up once last night :) Hehehehe sorry for saving all my wake ups for you :) Next time I will be better I promise, again thank you sooooo much for having me over I really did have a blast with all you guys thanks for giving my mommy and daddy a break. It's always fun to spend time at new places :)

It’s now time for me to be getting to bed. These last 4 weeks have been pretty tough on me and my family but I hope this is the week things start to finally go back to normal! It’s really hard on me to be upset all the time because I LOVE my life and my family and all the friends I get to see and hear from everyday!! But it sure makes it hard to show it when I am constantly crying and looking for comfort! So please don’t take it personal guys!! I still love and adore you all, just going to have to put up with this little ornery princess just a little while longer :) Once my teeth come all the way in, I’m sure I’ll be back to smiles, giggles and laughs all the time again! Birthday For My Sister & I Have Separation Issues!!! EEEEK!!!

Hello everybody! Well I am back and feel better than ever!! Well maybe not 100% better but I would say at least 70% All last week I finished up my med’s and my ear infection seems to have packed its bags and left my pretty little head! And of course that was good news for me because I was FINALLY able to lie down flat again and sleep better :) BUT that does not mean I had an easy week at all getting to sleep. Ya I just don’t know what it is, I get laid down to sleep then about 5 minutes later I am up and crying. I think I am developing some major attachment issues!! When mommy or daddy leaves me in a room and I notice they are not there I FREAK out and start crying!! And I continue to cry until they pick me up and hold me again for a bit! I don’t know what it is but it feels like if they walk out of the room I may NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!!! And what a horrible thought that is for a little baby like me!!! But once they get me and hold me I am A’ok and they ensure me that they are going nowhere, but man oh man that’s a scary feeling!! For 11 months I have bonded with my parents and just the thought of them leaving scares me! I don’t know why now all of the sudden I am having these feelings but I sure don’t like them!! Maybe that’s why I can’t sleep at night??? Oh well, either way they always come to make me feel better, and rock me back to sleep :) Even with the ear infection going away and getting real food in my tummy I STILL wake up about 1-3 times a night, and only on the RAREST of occasions do I ever sleep through the night! Time to face facts I just can’t be away from either of them that long and when I do I cry to get them back, and like cockwork they ALWAYS come back to get me :)

Well besides my separation anxiety I have been having a great time working on sitting up on my own! Now I can sit ANYWHERE and hold myself up the ENTIRE time!! This is really cool until I get too crazy with my movements and tumble over! Now I am SUPER close to getting myself back up once I do fall and I should have this figured out really quick! Now I just sit there on the floor and play with all my toys around me! I can reach out and grab them, chew on them, and then throw them to make way for new toys to play with!! Just yesterday I was sitting next to daddy while he was playing a game on the TV and he handed me a controller too! Instead of playing with him I just chewed on it and beat on buttons till I unexpectedly quit his game while he was playing it!! Sufficed to say I will never get to use that controller again :( Oh well I still had plenty of stuff to play with aka chew on, around me :)

No new news in the teething category. I still have my two top and bottom front teeth and that’s about it! I can tell something is about to pop up soon in the back but it just hasn't happened yet! And lately I have noticed that NO ONE will let me chew on their hands anymore! I think I may bite too hard :( Heck sometimes I bite my own hands and feet too hard! And yes I do like to chew on my tootsies :) But all this extra chewing practice is sure going to get me ready for my birthday cake! Yep that my friends is only a month away now!! Can you believe it! ME the preemie princess weighing in at almost 19 pounds will be having her 1^st birthday party next month! Oh man I can’t wait!! I can only imagine all the yumminess of my very first cake! And getting presents too! I can’t wait to “try” to open my first presents! Christmas time I could not do much but hopefully this time I can figure it out!! You know me I have A LOT to celebrate considering where I am today! What a long year it sure has been, but as always I wouldn’t trade it in for anything :)

As for the rest of my week I pretty much just worked on getting healthy, getting up on my own, driving my parents bonkers, and having my sister’s birthday party!!! All the family was over as usual and we all celebrated the fact that my sister Lexi just turned 6!! Her best friend Brookie was even over for the entire weekend!! She got soooo much pretty and fun stuff that I sure was envious of!! Lots of dolls, glitter tattoo’s, new GORGEOUS clothes, and even a fish bowl!! Pretty crazy seeing fish for the first time, there are just like me when I am in water, kicking and splashing and having a great time! Very cool gifts sister! I hope you liked everything you got too! And like always, I got to sit in my walker thingy and watch EVERYONE else enjoy their cake and ice cream!! I tell you NO MORE PEOPLE!!! THE NEXT TIME THERE IS A PARTY, I SHALL BE THE ONE ENJOYING CAKE!! AND YOU ALL SHALL BE THE ONES WATCHING!! HAHAHAHA!!! Ok but seriously its getting old seeing you all enjoy yourself with sweets and I get liquefied peas and squash…. Ya thanks a lot people!! :) Either way as usual I had a great time and it was really fun seeing my sister so happy and excited!! Thank you all for coming and a VERY BIG happy birthday to you big sister I love you!!! :)

Besides the birthday party I DID get to spend my first

fair amount of time outside!! Yep!!! On Sunday mommy and daddy had to clean up the front yard and do yard work, so who gets to watch me you ask, well that was solved by bringing me outside!! Mamma got me all bundled up and put me in my walker thingy and I got to sit on the deck and watch them work!! AND I got to see the big blue skies and all the trees, and hear the birds, it was fantastic!! And it was fascinating to just watch mom and dad do all that work! They got to play in the dirt, dig in the ground and cut some bushes and grass!! Sure looked like fun too! Maybe by the time the summer months roll around and I learn to actually walk, or heck EVEN CRAWL, I can come out and help them next time. Either way it sure was fun being outside for more than just being transported back and forth from my carseat! Can’t wait to do it again!!

AAAAAND as always it’s time to say good bye! I had a pretty long night last night and I must get to sleep at a decent hour! So I bid you all farewell and I hope to see you all next week! Now I am still debating on what I am going to do with my little blog/website, so here sometime soon I will leave it all up to you the reader! I will put up a poll on what to do with my website after I turn one. Originally this blog was just going to last till I got home, and now look at me still writing away and I am almost 1 now!! I know this can’t go on forever but I just don’t know what to do from here on out, so I’ll come up with some ideas over the next few months and leave it up to you guys to vote on :) LASTLY there is only 18 days till my march for babies walk! 2 Front Teeth for this Super Sick Princess!!

Hello everybody!! I wish I could say this week has been as happy as I look in the picture above, BUT it wasn't, nope not at all, it was a rough week cause this little baby was SUPER sick!!! Like scream at the top of my lungs cause I'm in pain sick!! That was because my ear had an infection!! Don't know how I got it, or where it came from, but it showed up and made my night times a nightmare!! Remember last week when I said if i did not get any better I was gonna have to go to the Dr.? Well ya mommy made me an appointment on Tuesday and daddy took me in after work. Now daddy thought I just had a little cold but nope!! (guess Mom was right!)The Dr. said I had some nasty infections in my right ear, so every time I would lay down flat it would really start to hurt!! So THAT'S why I could not get to sleep or stay asleep all last week!! So the Dr gave me some yummy pink medicine that I have to drink twice a day until Thursday. But so far its been working wonders!! I can now lay down flat again without all the crazy pain involved with it! I can tell you what though I certainly don't like being sick and neither do my parents!! I am a pretty miserable baby when it comes to being in pain let me tell ya!

But I guess it all wasn't so bad. Around Friday I was really starting to feel like myself! So I was back to playing with my toys and chewing on everything in sight! As you can see above I'm playing with my fancy new Easter toy! That my friends is my very own remote!! You see I think the bunny from last week figured out that my daddy did not appreciate me chewing on his expensive remote, so the good ole bunny brought me one instead! It is super cool too! It sings me songs and counts and does all kinds of fun stuff! Speaking of chewing on things, I was giving a good nibble to my daddies hand and then out of nowhere he shrieked in pain and excitement at the same time! And that was because of the discovery of not one, BUT TWO new teeth!!!

YEP 2!! My two front teeth at that! I now have 4 teeth!! And I got a molar growing in the back of my mouth too! Now with these fancy new teeth I have been able to try these new Yum Yum snacks!!! My uncle Joey got them for me on Easter and I have been munching on them ever since! So much daddy had to go buy me a new box!! You see they are like giant crackers that turn into mush the second I start eating them DELICIOUS!! Thank you Uncle Joey I love them!! Other than that nothing else really new to report here. Once I was feeling better I started trying to practice to crawl again, and yep still cant figure it out, so I'll just stick to rolling around on the ground to get around for now :)

Oh I almost forgot! I did go over to my god parents house on Saturday night for dinner, and to meet their new puppy! Now that puppy was as small as my foot! In fact it looked like a Preemie Puppy!! At first I thought it was just a stuffed animal and then it started to move and come after me!!! And stuffed animals ARE NOT supposed to come to life!!! That little puppy climbed up on my lap and started licking my face and I did not like it ONE BIT!!! In fact it freaked me out to the point of histarics!! I was eventually able to get the killer puppy off my face by screaming for help, Amber came to my rescue and got her of my pretty face!!! But I'll tell you what I couldn't stop staring at the preemie puppy! She was really cute and fun, but I don't really want her near me though at the moment! Puppy kisses STINK!! And while I was getting harassed by the puppy mommy and daddy ate with my god parents and I got to eat some more of my Yum Yum's :) I had a really fun time, thanks God parents for having me over and hopefully your puppy stops licking baby faces!!

^ You see that, you know what that means! Yep its nighty night time for me! BUT FIRST I need to say happy 28th birthday to my Auntie Vicki!!!! I love you soooo much and I hope you had a great day!!! And lastly today is my sister's BIRTHDAY!!! She turned 6 today!!! And Grandma Berta came by with Uncle Joey and Auntie Sarah to celebrate!! She got some cool presents too!! I'm SUPER Jealous!! It seems like EVERYONE has had a birthday but me! But have no fear next month is my big moment and now I am just counting down the days :) So Happy Birthday you two, I love you both SOOOOOOOOOO much!!!! Olive's First Easter with Family & Friends!!!!

Wow what a week! Lots of fun times and good memories, but everything can't always be rainbows and lollypops because there were also tough times too :( Yes besides the fun of having this be my first Easter experience I was really sick all week and plus I had to go to the Dr’s on Tuesday for more of my shots :( So yes the week started out pretty rough but ended with some serious happy times!! :) So first things first, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your families as I did! Nothing like the holidays to bring everyone together for good times!! And after the start of the weekI had, I sure did need it let me tell ya! The week started off with daddy taking me to get the last of my synagis shots and you can imangine how excited I was for that. He mentioned to the nurse about how hard it is for me to sleep lately because of tooth pain so she suggested getting me some Tylenol to help out with the pain. So we started to try that this week and let’s just say it’s better than nothing :( But that was not the reason why we were there of course, I had to get shots in both my legs again, and I was already having a rough day so getting stabbed in both legs really didn’t help matters at all :( Daddy had to hold me down and then I lost it! I cried for the entire 20 minute wait after the shots until we had to go and half way through the ride home! Eventually I just fell asleep and later after I woke up I basically forgot it happened at all because I was back to being concerned with my teeth again! Ugh! So we tried the Tylenol that night and it kind of helped but I was still up all night as usual :( Oh I forgot to tell you what I weighed! I was weighed in at 18 pounds 13 ounces!! YOU SEE I JUST KEEP ON GROWING!!! It’s so hard to believe that my height and weight is slowing catching up to what a normal 10 month old baby should be! I am well above the average on my adjusted age of 7 months so it’s almost looks as if I never was a preemie to begin with! Crazy how much can change in a small amount of time :)

Now the very next day was Wednesday and that was BY FAR my worst day :( You see that was because I caught a very bad cold and I even had a fever!! It was over 101 degrees at one point! Luckily we still had the Tylenol from the night before (and good thing we had it too) so I was able to take some and have my fever break in about an hour. But let me tell you I was miserable! I just laid there in mommies and daddies arms that whole time because I had no energy to do anything :( Now if you knew me pretty well you would understand why this was strange for everyone involved. Normally I NEVER STOP MOVING! My legs, arms, head, hands are always moving mostly because I am just a hyper baby and I love it! But that day I pretty much just laid there and did nothing :( Mommy and daddy were worried for a while but I had to explain to them I am a professional fighter and like always I will be ok :) Now I still am sick mind you, and I never got any better than just my fever not coming back, so I am going to give it a couple more days to see where I am at before I have to go back to the Dr’s again :( And when you have already spent 33% of your total life time in a hospital, trust me that’s the LAST place you ever want to be again. So wish me luck and let’s hope my fighter instincts kick back in and I can kick this nasty cold!! :)

No real achievements this week either :( No new teeth, no new feats just a lot of lying around and crying for someone to come and hold me. Now I did get in some play time here and there when I was up for it, and yep still can’t crawl, or sit up on my own for any extended length of time. Still can’t figure out how to hold a bottle steady enough to actually eat from it. The only thing I am doing really good at and A LOT of is grabbing things!! Everything now that’s within reach or sight is fair game for my hands to grab!! So if you’re around me keep your phones, pop cans, remotes, jewelry, food, even money AWAY from me!! Because I WON’T give it back (especially the money!!!) Just ask my sister Alexis about how I wanted her hair! Yeah I almost got it too until mommy came in and intervened! Ugh just jealous of all that hair is all :) And now sister and I are no longer on talking terms :( Hehehe just kidding :)

As for the rest of the week it was ALL Easter related! First of all Thursday night all the kids got together and started to dye some Easter eggs! Now I really don’t know why they were doing that or what the importance of it is but it sure looked like fun! So much so that I cried out for someone to come get me so I could join in on the fun! Of course daddy got me and handed me over to mom and then I got my very own egg :) Now I found out I could not eat it so I just licked it for a while until I got bored and tried to slam it on the table. Mommy got it before any real damage could occur and then Jayce dyed it for me :) It sure was fun watching all the pretty colors and designs my siblings were coming up with, I hope I can help out next year and do my own too! Oh and hopefully someone explains to me why we color eggs anyway! Seems kinds odd if you ask me!

Then on Saturday we went over to Auntie Vickie’s house to visit with my mommy’s family for an early Easter dinner!! Everyone on was there too, Cousin Sammi and Matti, Grandpa Andy and Grandma Debbie, Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry too! And guess what! Matti was coloring eggs too!!! So I guess my family isn’t crazy after all and EVERYONE does this for Easter!! Still can’t figure out why though….. hmmmmm I need to get down to the bottom of this one! Everyone got to eat a yummy dinner (except me of course!) and visit with each other too. It was really fun seeing my cousin’s too! Matti did an amazing job on his eggs! And Sammi finally has so much hair that now I actually feel bad for all the jokes I made before! Oh well I supposed the joke is on me because now I am the one with no hair!!! Eventually I got really wore out from all the playing I was doing and it was getting late so we all had to go, thank you so much guys for having us over I had a great time!!! I love you all and Happy Easter!! :) Now later that night I kept waking up to weird noises downstairs… Lots of hopping noises and it sounded like someone was eating…. Of course I have yet to figure out how to break out of my crib so I was unable to figure out what was going on exactly…. This went on for about 5-10 minutes, hop, hop, hop, than a crack. Very weird….. Sounded like someone was setting stuff down on a table too…I will have to investigate further tomorrow…

Oh yes Sunday had came and that meant its EASTER! Now I have been asking all week what is Easter and what does it mean? Now up to this point I figured out that you make hard boiled eggs then you paint them with fancy colors and then you decorate them, sometimes even putting people names on them. Then you put them all in a basket on a table the night before Easter. But why I ask!! Annnnnnd then I found out! It's for The EASTER BUNNY!! You see he came last night and dropped off baskets for all us kids and ate some of the eggs we left him!! THAT was the hopping noise from the night before!! That crazy rabbit even left some egg shells on the table form the eggs he ate, and a nice mess for mommy and daddy to clean!! Now my brother Jayce filled me in on who the Easter bunny was and then I was supper excited to see the gifts he brought me! I got some new toys!! And a new stuffed animal!! I totally love them too!!! Jayce and I played with all our new stuff that entire morning while mommy and daddy watched and took pictures :) What a happy day!! And then to top it all off Grandma Berta came over with Joey! My auntie Sarah came too and so did Auntie Jade!! We all got together to have us some Easter dinner!! (Yet again I was not invited to this particular meal!!) Oh well daddy tried to feed me some small chunks of ham and that was not happening so it was back to rice and formula for me!! Everyone stayed for the majority of the day and it was super fun! We all visited and played and nowI can safely say after careful observations I know what Easter is! You see Grandma Berta told me it’s the day to celebrate re-birth and all things new. Now what this has to do with a bunny bearing gifts is beyond me but I sure don’t mind him coming by either way :) You tricked me this year bunny but next year I will find you and give you a big hug and a thank you :)

Eventually everyone had to go and it was bed time for me. Thank you all for spending this special holiday with me, I sure loved every moment of it too! And to all of you I was unable to spend it with I hope you all had a great Easter as well! Livi loves you all and is always thinking about you too! :) But before I go I must remind you all that my March for Babies walk is just around the corner! A Trip To Grammie's and More Long Nights !!! Yuck!!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week, now as for mine well it was a pretty short and not so sweet (With the exception of the weekend of course) That's because I have been in a lot of tooth pain and both mommy and daddy have been sick, and for the most part so was I :( Yep I have had a runny nose and breathing issues daily for most of this past week. And like I said earlier, both the parents were sick so they were trying to get extra rest as well. Let's just say that didn't work out for any of us :( You see if I can't breathe through my nose I cant eat off my bottle and fall asleep, and if I cant do that I FREAK OUT!! I need my warm milk/formula at night and I can get pretty mad when my tummy tells me I need some food! So every night I have been up seconds after I get put to bed. The first half of the week was really bad we all had some really long nights. It was nearly impossible for me to get to sleep in the first place with not actually falling asleep till close to 10pm and then I would be up again 30 min after that! Then once I would finally get to sleep say close to midnight I would be up again around 3-4am then again around 5-6am... YIKES! Like I said a rough week for everyone involved! But we all made it though and both mommy and daddy are feeling better and I am still here to tell you the tale!! But hey this is nothing compared to all the other rough nights we have all had together :)

Now besides my crazy night times, I have had some good day times :) I am still all smiles all the time, and ESPECIALLY if you smile back at me! Heck I could be in the worst mood and crying and mad and STILL smile back at you if you smile at me first :) Yes I can be the worlds happiest baby at times and the worlds grumpiest! (Only at night though!!) This week I spent LOTS of time on my tummy doing my baby push ups and trying to figure out this crawling thing. Now on Wednesday I was able to "accidentally" crawl about 3 feet, the reason I say accidentally is of course I didn't know what i was doing until I was moving!! I moved my rear legs up till I was on up my knees and then tried walking my knees forward! I did this for about 3 steps until my hands held me back. (Which were still planted firmly into ground!) You see I didn't move my hands at all and eventually I ran out of room so I fell flat on my cheek :( Oh well it was a nice try but it sure does take A LOT of planning when you are trying to teach yourself how to crawl! Just gotta remember legs and hands have to move at the SAME time or I will run into my own arms and have another face plant moment!! And this face is WAY too pretty to keep doing that!!

Other than all of that it was pretty much the same ole story for me, eat, sleep, play, cry, sleep, cry, eat, and sleep some more! I cant wait till I can crawl and start checking out this big ole' house of mine! There are lots places I haven't been yet and I can't wait to sneak off when no one is looking and check them out! My hand eye coordination is getting WAY better too! Now mommy and daddy both have to watch what is near me because I LOVE to touch, grab and taste phones, remotes, pop can's, basically anything and everything you can imagine besides my own diaper!! (I KNOW what I put in my diaper and don't NO ONE want to touch or taste that just ask my daddy!!) Now tomorrow I have my last synagis shot.... ugh Like I need any more new things to cry and get grumpy about! But at least it is the last one and I will get a chance to see how tall I am now and how much I am weighing these days! My guess is 27 1/2 inches long and 18.5 pounds :) Yes I am a VERY huge preemie now!! :) So wish me luck guys cant wait for these shots to be done for good!!

And now for my FUN weekend! Every other week my brother's and sister all have to leave me to go visit with their other parents and when that happens it is just Mommy, Daddy and I for the WHOLE weekend. Which normally is SUPER fun but they needed some rest from being sick. I figured after the week I put them through that they deserved a long nights sleep so I decided to head on over to Grandma Rolene's for the night!! Now this is the farthest I have EVER been away from home so it was kind of nerve racking at first but that all changed the second I came through the door and saw my Grammie Rolene and Grandpa Gary!! We all visited and played until it was well past my bed time, but by that time I was good and tired so I had no trouble sleeping that night! But when I did get up grandpa Gary got up with me and got me back to sleep really quick with his lovings :) The next day we all played some more and Grammie tried reading me a book, but I thought the book would be more interesting in my mouth so I tried to eat it and yeah that meant story time was over:( Oh well I guess you're not supposed to put EVERYTHING in your mouth I'll try to remember that next time :) Oh and while we were playing their crazy doggie Scooter kept trying to interrupt! Sheshh jealous doggies are always trying to steal all my lovings!! Oh well I still had a great time! Thank you so much Grammie and Pappi for having me over I loved every minute of it and I can't wait to do it all again!! Later Mommy and daddy came and got me and then it was off to Grandpa Andy and Grandma Debbies house!! We only stayed for a little bit but it was more than enough time to play with them both and get lots of loves :) These last 2 weekends have been great, last week was spending time with daddies family and this week was mommies family :) I just love being around all my family members, maybe that's the source of all my smiles!! As for the rest of the weekend it was back home as usual and just lot of laying around and playing :)

St. Patties Day With Grandma Berta's Family!!

Hello there world! Yes another week has passed in my short little life and I am here to tell you the tale of it!! But first things first! Did you all have a great week as well?? I sure hope so cause mine was super fun!! Now I have sure met A LOT of my family members in my short time here on this planet but they all seem to have been on my mom's side, never too many on my dad's side but Saturday that all changed... I FINALLY got to meet some of them!! And better yet it was during a St. Patties Day party!! I will tell you the entire story here a bit later :) For now let me tell you about all the days before that! Well let’s start with my teeth and sigh, yes I STILL only have two teeth :( So my streak of getting a tooth a week ends at 2, oh well maybe this week I will see some more!! My mouth sure is hurting so I know something is about ready to pop soon! And obviously the pain in my mouth has led to LOTS of whininess on my part which includes lots of crying and throwing fits when it gets REALLY bad! At first I thought I may have been sick because of my constant runny nose, but no I think its teething as usual :( Even though I do think I may have some kinds of pet and dust allergies because my nose NEVER stops getting plugged up!! And of course the teething nightmare has also led to being up at all times of the night and waking up quite easily, AND it being hard to get me to sleep in general, ugh the only thing I can say is only 18 more teeth to go!

Now on that subject of sleeping I think my days of being in my Halo blankie (AKA STRAIGHT JACKET!) are numbered. You see preemies LOVE to be swaddled more so than normal babies, so I have been swaddled in the halo every night since basically I got of my box. BUT my super preemie strength has caused these halos to only last for a good 15 min before I masterfully get out of them. I just LOVE to wave my hands around now and grab things and even when its bed time I see something that I just HAVE to grab or touch and ya that leads to me thinking its play time instead of bed time and I stay up longer than I should :( And it also leads to me to knocking the bottle out of my mouth as well. Now I do know how to pick up my bottle now and bring it to my mouth but I never get the angle quite right and my hands are constantly moving so it does not work out very well in the end. My mommy tried to get me to go to sleep without it and that lasted a whole 10 min before daddy found me laying on my tummy with my arm wrapped under the mattress and me stuck in-between the mattress and the crib bars, he thought it was quite funny but let me tell ya being stuck really is not fun!! I SCREAMED until daddy came and saved me, then next you know it was back to the halo again. Just like my swing (god rest it’s soul) I am going to have to get used to life without the halo and learning to calm my crazy hands down while I am trying to sleep :)

My crawling skills have yet to improve as well. I just love to roll around so much that I never take time to see if my knees can actually move once I am up with arms extended. Just this past week I learned that I can sit on my knees when I get upon my arms so I think it’s just only a matter of time before I learn I can actually move my knees to start crawling! So my guess is I will be crawling in the next month, I’ll keep you all posted of course :) My new favorite toy of the week is this ball that moves on its own and talks to me! (thank you Grandma Moisio)It’s super fun to smack it and hear it sing and talk and glow. It also helps me move around when I am on my tummy because I am constantly trying to chase that crazy thing down! I hit a button then boom! It moves and I have to roll around to try to catch it! And when someone forgets to turn it on I get mad! Just the other day I was put on the ground and I smacked a button and NOTHING!! I cried and cried until daddy showed up and noticed his horrible error of not turning on the power switch. But once he turned it on life was livable once again :)

Now just like the last couple weeks it was very slow and just lots of time with Mommy, Daddy and my brothers and sister. That was until Saturday! Now I don’t know too much about St. Patties day other than everyone wears green or they get pinched!!! So in order to avoid that unpleasant though my Grandma Berta got me a lovely green outfit! Now before I begin my parents had lost their minds and FORGOT the camera so the pictures for this day are very limited and I apologize :( Anyways Grandma came over and So did Uncle Joey and then we were off to my Auntie Laurie’s house! Now she is my grandma Berta’s Cousin Laurie so just so I don’t confuse anyone I will just call her Auntie. She is also my daddies God Mother too! Very cool :) Anyway after a VERY long drive we arrived and I was introduced to all of my Grandma Berta’s family I have never met! I got to meet Auntie Laurie, Auntie Yvonne, and Uncle Glen All people whom were very close to my grandma and my daddy too! I also got to meet their kids as well, and their kids’ kids too! There was probably close to 50 people there!! Also my Auntie Pattie was there too (whom is my daddies aunt AKA my Grandma’s sister! Got it?) We spent a long amount of time visiting with everyone before it was dinner time, and then I was the star of the show! Everyone at the table noticed how smiley I was and they were amazed how someone whom has been through so much in life could be so happy all the time! But HEY that’s WHY I am so happy! Happy to be home! Happy to be around you all for the first time!! Happy to return the smiles that are given to me :) I was even surprised to hear that over half of them had already heard of me and even followed me on this very blog at one point in time!! That of course makes me feel extra special :) At dinner daddy tried to give me some mashed potatoes so I would not feel left out but I was not having it! Ya that was my first experience with potatoes and so far I am not a fan! After dinner everyone got around the TV and watched some home video’s of the family from the 60’s and 70’s. I even got to see Grandma Berta as a little girl too! It was crazy!! After that it was game time where we all got to vote on the best Irish saying and whom wore the most green, of course I lost both contests because I fell asleep :( Oh well I will get them next time!! All in all I had a wonderful time meeting the people whom were part of Grandma’s early life and my daddy’s life as a child. I sure did love all the lovings I got from all of you and all the positive thoughts and prayers :) I surely can’t wait to do it all again soon too :) Again thank you all and I better see you all gain soon!! Well that was it for my week, as always I learned new things, got better at other things, and got to hang out with family new and old :) These are the things that make life great for me, and the things that I hope all of you get to share in your own lives too! Another TOOTH!! And I am ALMOST Ready To Crawl!

Hello everyone! Well I had a MUCH better week (compared to last week) with lots of learning, eating & resting!! I hope all of you had a great week as well! I spent most of the week in much better moods, mostly because all my pain from the prior week had paid off with the presence of ANOTHER bottom tooth! AMAZING how they just show up one day and I don't notice it until it starts cutting up my hands when I chew on them! Now this new tooth popped up right next to my first tooth and it looks mighty cute when I smile :) Ill show you guys a picture of it here later :) For the most part I just hung out at home all week with my family and that was all good if you ask me :)

Now lately I have been really practicing with my tummy time. Mostly because I can now roll all over the place, and sometimes I get stuck on my tummy. BUT I found out if I put my hands on the ground and push up I can almost sit on my knees! AND that means I am only a couple movements away from crawling. Lately mama will lay me on the floor and come back later to find out I have moved myself half way across the room! I just roll all over the house now and its mighty fun to keep rolling and see where I end up!! I also seem to do it in my sleep as well! When I wake up to get my bottle in the middle of the night, mommy and daddy notice I have moved all over the place! Sometimes I am upside down or completely on the opposite end of the crib! Just last night daddy found me with my head propped up on the side of the crib and almost sitting up halfway on my own! Now I don't really remember how I got there but it was really cool none the less!

And LOOK there it is! Mommy got a much better picture this time and now you can see both of my new teeth!! You see how much that first tooth grew in only a week! Crazy I should have a mouth full of little chompers in no time! And you know what that means, I will be more than ready for my first taste of cake come birthday time! So hurry UP TEETH!! This past week I also have learned that I can grab my bottle and bring it up to my mouth! Just today I grabbed it out of the cup holder while mommy was holding me with one hand and was able to bring it up all the way to my mouth! Now from there I still haven't quite figured out that I need to hold it at an angle so the milk comes down, but I bet i figure that one out in no time!! I grab everything now! When I am sitting on daddies lap at dinner time I grab his food, and his bowl or cup and try to get it in my mouth before he notices, but I always fail and he catches me :( Oh well I guess I need to learn to be more sneaky :)

Now I did say that this past week was very quiet and non eventful, but I did forget I had some fun times this weekend! First on Saturday I went with Dad and mom to get some birthday presents for my God Dad Chad and for Brianna. Now she is my mommies and daddies good friends Steve and Loni's daughter! She just turned 6 too!! Now after that I got to go with them for some house shopping! Now that was quite the experience let me tell ya, lots of weird and stinky houses we got to see that did not look like good places to live at all but Grandpa Andy was there and that made it a whole lot better! Thank you Grandpa for coming along to keep me company!! Plus the lady showing all the houses was obsessed with just staring at my pretty litte face and trying to make me smile, which lately is not all that hard! She was a really fun lady and I'm glad she paid so much attention to me more so than the houses she was showing!! Once all of that was over Auntie Sarah and Uncle Seth came over to watch me for the night while mommy and daddy went to Chad's birthday party! I was sad I could not go but it was awfully late and I went to bed shortly after anyways so I guess it was ok I got left behind :( Oh well hope you had a great birthday party Chad!! I love you! Next time I better get invited too!! :)

Now on Sunday I got to go to Brianna's party! It was at a restaurant where I got to meet a bunch of new people! Everyone got to see my beautiful new teeth and my millions of smiles :) I even got to be held by Loni for a while and that made me feel mighty special :) It was really fun meeting all those new people and being part of yet again another birthday party! Thanks for inviting me to be a part of the celebration I had a great time!! At the restaurant daddy tried to feed me some beans and salsa before mommy stopped him, but then mommy and Loni proceeded to let me try a lemon and let me tell ya that was REALLY WEIRD!! Everyone laughed at the funny face's I made and ya I don't think I liked that one bit! But besides those weird foods I am still eating all kinds of good baby food daily and I still love it! :) But yeah that was about it for the week, pretty short I know but hey my life cant always be so exciting :) And yes it's time for me to wrap this up for the night so I can get to bed and not keep everyone up all night, but before I go I must remind you all that my March for Babies starts in just 53 days so please be sure to click on my pretty face below to see how my team is doing towards achieving their goal. Back From The Dr's & What A Rough Week!!!

Well what a rough week! Between going to the Dr's, getting shots, and incredible tooth pain I am spent! I hope your guy's week was better than mine! And with this super rough week, it was also a rough one for mom, dad, grandma and auntie Sarah! You see they were the ones trying to cheer me up all week! Or staying up with me all week, OR trying to get me to stay asleep or nap ALLLLL WEEK!! But I will get into all of that later. First let me tell you about my Dr. appointment! First it was just my normal typical day of laying around playing with my toys and drooling all over myself, and then all of the sudden daddy came home early.... That usually means something bad, something that's gonna cause me pain... and come to find out its time for me to go to the Dr! Ugh! So of course he gets me all ready to go and then it's off we go! Just like always I spent most of my time on a cot waiting for the nurses and dr's to come see me. As you can see above I am just laying there gnawing on my hand to help soothe my mouth. Then the nurses come in and and get me all naked and cold then they weigh me. And guess what! Just like always I gained A LOT of weight and now I am at 17 pounds 14 ounces! Holy cow, I am becoming a cow!! They didn't measure my length or my head this time so that's all the vitals I have for you all. Then it was waiting time yet again! And of course I through a fit out of boredom, and then FINALLY the Dr came in the give me my 2 dreaded shots :( Yep that's right 2 of them right in my upper thighs :( Ya and they hurt worse this time than ever before! I was pretty much inconsolable afterwards! It took daddy a good 5 minutes to calm me down :( Lucky I found out I might only have to go through this ordeal 1 more time next month :) That's good news cause I don't know how much more of this I can take! It's getting old really fast!! After that we always have to wait exactly 20 minutes to makes sure I don't have a reaction to the shots, then its finally time to go! The nurse though was very impressed with how active I am, and noticed my brand new tooth too! I fell asleep shortly afterwards and that pretty much was the start of my dreaded rough week!

That night was pretty rough for me, I woke up a bunch cause of my tooth, its killing me! Oye for months now I have wanted teeth to just be like everyone else, and be able to get some good food in me, but now I HATE IT!! It hurt's sooooo much! I hear babies get 20 teeth, and all I have to say about that is YIKES! I don't know how I can deal with this 19 more times! And my one single tooth is very sharp too! Sometimes I bite my hands too hard and then that makes me cry too! Man oh man this is horrible! I just hope maybe that 5 or 6 are all coming in at the same time so it can cut the time I have to be in pain in half because this is nuts! I have been chewing on everything! Toys, hands, feet, clothes, blankets, mommy, daddy, the cat's, ok maybe not the last one but pretty much everything I said before that! And the drooling is out of control too! Ask my grandma how many times she has to change my shirts in a day! It's insane! So yes PLEASE let this end, because not even Orajel is making this any easier on me, or anyone else around me!

Now there was not only bad things this week. I got to go to my brothers boy scouts events TWICE this week! It was awesome! The first time he had a dinner for the anniversary of his troop. He even got a badge for it being his birthday! It was really cool, and as always I enjoyed all the gawking eyes at me all throughout the night just staring at my beautiful smiles and giggles :) But I could not stay still in my stroller so mommy and daddy had to take turns holding me. We were all out pretty late that night and that left us all soooo tired. By the time I got home I fell right asleep and in fact that was the best night I had all week! I think I only woke up once that night, and trust me I think mommy and daddy enjoyed that more than I did!

Yep that is the trouble maker right there!! ^^^^ You see, that bad boy is what's been keeping me up all night long! It took mommy and daddy 4 fingers and 65 pictures to get this ONE photo of the tooth that has been causing so much trouble! If you can't see it click the picture and it will blow up on you computer screen and then you can see it, it is barely sticking up there to the right, but trust me its ripping through my gums!! Any who later in the week Jayce had his big Pine Car race for boy scouts! We went early and I got to watch all the kids play outside and eat pizza and chips! Of course I envied every moment of that too!! Later once the race started I saw Jayce win 3 of this 8 races!! It was VERY exciting!! He ended up finishing 3rd overall in his group and then got to go to the finals! Once in the finals though he was not able to beat a couple peoples fast cars and ended up finishing 9th out 12 :( Oh well he still did great! I lost LOTS of daddy time in the last 2 weeks while daddy and Jayce were working on his car, and all their hard work payed off in the end :) Congrats Jayce you did great and it sure was fun being apart of it too!! :)

And that was pretty much it for my week :) Oh but I did get to see my god parents on the weekend, and that was much needed and mighty fun too! Thank you for the visit guys! Livi loves you!! :) And yep its time for me to go now :( Yep I got another night of me waking up the whole neighborhood cause of my painful mouth of tooth, yep not teeth just tooth! How can one little thing cause so much pain!! Oh well I have been through a lot before so whats one more thing right!! :) And as always I will fight through it and tell you all about it next week! SO PLEASE pray for a quiet calm and restful week for me and my caregivers too! OH and DON'T forget about my March for Babies! Team Olivia is gonna get to marching in 60 days!! My First Weekend Away, AND I GOT A TOOTH!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!! How was your week??? Mine was just fine and wonderful as usual, and it ended with sleepover to Auntie Jades and the discovery of my first tooth!!! WOW! But before we get into all that lets talk about the week that was! First I have been pretty cranky all week! No one really knew why and nor did I, but I was still sleeping for the most part all through the night. I usually just wake up around 5am when daddy gets up for work now, so it’s been working out just fine :). I seem to be taking less naps lately as well, mostly because I just LOVE to stay up and take in all the fun things around me! Like playing! I just love sitting on the ground or on the couch with a bunch of my toys all around me! I pick them up chew on them, hand them off to my other hand, or throw them back down to the ground to grab another toy! I can do this for hours! Or at least till I get hungry! All my toys now I can grab and throw around and chew on, before I could only pick up really small stuff, now I can pretty much grab anything! I even lean forward to try to get stuff I normally could not reach! Heck I can even almost sit up on my own now without someone holding me! I eventually fall though, but it’s a heck of a lot better than what it was before!! I also have been forced to lie on my tummy lately so my mom can FORCE me to try to start crawling, and ya that's not going so well... I just look like a fish out of water, flailing around like a lunatic until I get upset and start crying! When I do start moving when I'm on my tummy I just end up going in a weird looking circle too. Ugh I’ll get better at it though, at least I sure hope so! I’m also talking A LOT more than I ever have! I just talk and talk and talk! I talk to my toys but they never respond, then I try to mimic my brother Jayce but he don't seem to understand me :( And then I try to talking to daddy and he just makes the same noises back, and ya I don't understand him at all, then I try to talk to mom and then she makes even crazier noises at me and all I can think of is either I am not communicating correctly, or these people just don't know how to talk! One day maybe I will understand them or vice versa :) Either way I have found my voice and I aint going to stop using it!! :) Lastly I can finally rollover on my own :) YAY for me!! I can even roll back to my front too! So I can't wait to show the DR. all my new moves next visit!! :)

And speaking of the dreaded Dr's, tomorrow I have my next synagis shot :( Oye. At least that is the only thing I am going to be going in for. But like always I will get all the good news on my weight, height, and head size. At least I assuming it's going to be good news! Mamma and Grandma have been feeding me all kinds of food lately too! And I sure LOVE IT! I am now eating almost the whole jar every time I get some food! Mom is going to try to keep feeding me as much food as possible and trying to start cutting back on my bottle too so that should be interesting to say the least! Last week I got to eat strawberry applesauce, bananas, peas (yuk) some carrots and some new rice with pears and apples in it. Mom is also starting to feed me a big meal before bed every night to help me stay asleep at night, and so far it’s been working like a charm!!

Now remember earlier when I said I have been cranky all week, well I think now we all finally know why! Out of nowhere on Friday afternoon, auntie Jade came over and BEGGED to watch me over the night and weekend. So mom and dad gave the ok, but before I left, I was sitting there on Jade’s lap and I tried to chew on her hand, she then let out a yelp because she had found out that I HAVE A TOOTH!! FINALLY!!!! YAY FOR ME!!!!!! That little pearly white popped out of nowhere on the bottom middle of my mouth! It is kind of behind my gums at the moment so dad could not get a good picture of it, BUT I am sure you be able to see it quite clearly very soon! Now so far that is the only one that has come in, but I hear once one comes out they all starting popping out! I CAN’T WAIT!! Yes it may hurt pretty bad at the moment, but I love food so much and that means I get to eat even better stuff really soon!! So until then I will keep chewing on my toys and people’s hands until the other toother's to come!! Wow just lots of new things for me this week!! :)

Now like I said earlier, I got to spend my first weekend away from home! (Well since coming home in August that is) and let me tell ya it was quite fun and very different all at the same time! The first night I got to hang out with Jayce and Jordyn and I got to watch them all play some games on the big TV, which I didn't quite understand but it looked absolutely wonderful all at the same time! I had a good night that night, I only woke up once and was in shock when there was no mommy or daddy!! Luckily Jade was there to coax me back to sleep with a fresh bottle :) The very next day we had a birthday party to go to!! As you can see above I got to play with some other babies there too! My friend above is named Avery and she just turned 8 months! I think she was pretty jealous of my fancy pink coat!! But we sure had fun playing :)

The Birthday party was for Jades friends daughter Joselyn whom just turned one! I am super close to my first birthday of course so it was nice watching someone else have theirs so I can gather pointers on how to act at my first birthday!! Especially when it comes to the eating cake part!! Oh I can't WAIT for that part!! I got to once AGAIN watch everyone else have cakes, and me yep I got nada :( BUT I did get some good food AKA my favorite Banana's and Rice Cereal :) Later that night I got real cranky cause my teeth started hurting again, so I got some Orajel and I was out for the night! I woke up about 2-3 times that night, but it was just because I kept talking to myself out of boredom!! Sometimes I just hate sleeping especially when everyone else is asleep it gets pretty lonely but I was able to fall right back to sleep :)

As you can see above the crankiness from the night before led to a scratch on my cheek! When I get cranky I tend to flail my hands around too much and next thing you know I hurt myself :( Well the next day it was off to mommy and daddy's house! I sure did have fun with you Jade! Thank you so much for having me over :) I love you!!! But I sure did miss my mommy and daddy so I was glad to be home! :) They sure did miss me too, I could tell by all the lovings I got all day long!! Well once again its time to go nighty night time! Tomorrow I have my Dr's appointment so be sure to wish me luck! Oh and don't forget we only have 64 days to go for my March for Babies walk! Big Brother's Birthday! & More Fun!!

Well what a week it's been! As usual it starts out always very slow and quiet then POOF we have a huge party with like 30 people over for my brother's birthday party!! But before we get into all of that, how was everyone's week??? I hope it was as wonderful as mine! My days have been getting much more exciting lately that’s because of all the new things I am getting to get my body to do! Like for example I can now pretty much hold my balance for a good amount of time when I am sitting up! I still get a little erratic at times and get excited and fall over, but for the most part if I am focused on something such as a toy, I can stay up for a long time!! I get to practice all the time now too! With no swing or cradle to lay me in I pretty much am forced to sit up from now on! I still love sitting in the big chair mommy and daddy sit in. It’s very comfy and lets me just sit back, relax, and play with my toys :) I am also passing toys from hand to hand now on a regular basis so take that nurses! I told you I could do it :) Oh and ya I still aint the biggest fan of laying on my tummy :( I just don't have enough upper body strength to handle it at the moment, but I am working on it daily so maybe soon I will make my attempts at crawling :)

I got to eat LOTS of good food this week too! It included Bananas, Apple sauce, carrots, Oatmeal and pears, and they were all very yummy with banana's still the clear favorite! Even though I am really starting to like rice now a lot too! I also now hate a certain food. Yep can’t stand it! Worse thing EVER!! Should never EVER be forced to eat it again too!! EVER MOM YOU HEAR~!!!!! Yep that food is nasty ole peas!! YUCK! Now I know why daddy hates them so much GROSS!! So mom, FYI, throw them out!! :) I am still taking rice in my bottle at night too and I had another week in a row of only waking up once :) See you guys! Food was the answer and now I am finally getting all the sleep I need at night :) Now I am sleeping in my crib full time now, but I think I have had the hardest times getting comfortable! Every night when mommy and daddy go to bed they find me upside down or sideways or 2 feet away from where they originally put me!! Sometimes I even accidentally roll completely over and get stuck like a tipped cow!! It is not very funny for me at all, quite traumatic actually! I scream and scream when this happens until someone comes and rescues me! You see I still have to sleep with a halo so I have no way of using my hands to save myself!! So ya I pretty much bounce around my whole crib at night while I am asleep! Weird huh, I don’t think I will ever be able to stay still!! :)

The week went by very quickly and then all of the sudden it was my brother’s big birthday party! Now this was a big one because he turned 10!! And you could tell how big it was by all the people that came over to see me! Ooops I mean Jayce :) My Grandpa Andy came over, Jade and D and Jordyn, Loni and Steve and their kids Justin and Brianna, My auntie Sarah and Uncle Seth, My Uncle Joey and Grandma Berta, My Auntie Krista and her kids Brookie and Jesten and Grandma Julie! My Uncle Terry and Auntie Vicki and both my cousins Matti and Sammi! Then we had Preston, Alexis, Mom and dad of course, and then Jayce’s friends Jordan, and Tyler! You can see it was pretty much a full house!! I got to watch him open up all his awesome presents too! I can’t wait to have my own birthday party! Heck he has had 10 now and I am still waiting on my first!! Then of course I got to see the best part and that was the cake! Looked mighty yummy and can you guess how much I got to eat!!??!! Yeah that’s right, none :( Mommy doesn’t like me too much I think :( Just kidding mom, I am still too young for all that sugar, but SOON like 3 months from now soon when I TURN 1!! Anyways a bunch of his friends all stayed the night and so did Brookie so it was a very fun kid’s night at the Vannoy Household! And of course I got my loves from everyone there, the best part of my day! Everyone got to hold me and cuddle it sure was awesome! Happy birthday Big brother I hope you had the best birthday yet! And don’t forget to throw me one just as big when I turn 10!!

Now the next day we all took a trip to Grammies house! Oh yeah that’s Grandma Rolene in case you didn’t know! Again it was for a birthday party too! It was Jayce’s birthday party, my cousin Matti’s birthday party AND my Grandpa Gary’s Birthday party!! Grammie couldn’t make it to Jayce’s birthday party Saturday so she decided to throw one for him and everyone else at the same time!! They all had the coolest cake too! See Look!

They all got to keep a car too! Must be lucky for all those guys to get cake two days in a row when I can’t even get any once!!! Ugh and to top it all off they all got BBQ while I got introduced to peas!!! And if you read earlier you can guess how well that one went! Oh well at least I got to spend lots of quality time with Grammie!! I got to show her all my new tricks and how I can kick my legs really hard in the ground to make noises and my crazy noises I make all the time AKA Singing! I could tell she was very impressed and I was very happy to spend all that time with you :) Thank you Grammie for all the lovings!! And happy birthday to you Grandpa Gary!! I love you!!! And Matti, I will be at your birthday party next week too! So YAY another party I get to go to and that means another party that I will be denied cake :( Ugh oh well one day I will get mine :) Thank you all for such a wonderful weekend!! I just love being around all my loved family and friends! Heck even when I am not the star of the show I still love it!! :)

A Visit From My Cousin & New Noises I Can Make!!

Hello Everyone! How are you today?? I am GREAT! I had a nice very quiet week and after how crazy the month of January was it was sure needed! Today I am 9 months old!! Aka 6 Months old!! Can you believe its only 3 months till my birthday!!! Holy cow time has flown!! But as for this week I spent most of it playing with my toys, aka chewing on my toys! Ya that's pretty much been my idea of playing! I have been getting so munch better at passing my toys from one hand to the other and chewing on EVERYTHING I can get my hands on! Including people's hands! Good thing I don't have teeth yet or I would really hurt people! I have also found my singing voice! Yes you see now I get sooooo excited I start to sing in my own special way! Daddy says I sound like a cat moaning to get some food but I call it communicating my happiness to the world! You should here it it sounds awesome! It's my happy coo! I have also been trying to use my hands A LOT more like with holding my bottle and taking a swing at things and even starting to throw some of my toys! But my hands still can't hold a candle to my crazy legs! Yes I am still kicking everything and everybody in sight! So I will keep practicing with my hands and my balance and hopefully pretty soon I ill be able to sit up unassisted :)

Yep here you can see my idea of playing :) Aka Chewing/Eating my toys. :) Anyway my mama and my Grandma have been feeding me all kinds of food this week! I have had Banana's, Apple Sauce, Carrots, Peas, & Mixed Grain Rice. And Now I REALLY like the banana's! Took me a couple attempts but now I love them! Especially when they are cold! A lot better than room temperature banana's! In fact there really is no food I haven't liked yet! Anything is better than just formula all the time! I also have been getting rice mixed in with my bottles at night and that has kept my cranky butt from waking up 37 times a night! Now it's just once a night making mommy and daddy VERY happy :) I also have finally gotten over the loss of my swing and am now used to my crib :) I especially like the netting around it! I get my hands and fingers out of my halo blankie and rub them against it and it makes the coolest noise! I like to do it in the middle of the night too just to irritate mommy and daddy! But then they get up and wrap me back into my halo, and then I am forced to figure out how to get out of it again :( I am little preemie Houdini at night I always find a way out :)

Now once the weekend hit it was running around as usual! We went birthday shopping for my brother Jayce whom has his 10th birthday party this week! And might I say I believe I helped pick out a GREAT gift for him too! Also we went over to my Grandpa's house to help him move stuff. Grandma Debbie got to watch me the entire time mommy and daddy were working! We had lots of fun playing with all my toys and me showing off all the new things I can do! Later Grandpa came in and I got to spend a bunch of time with him sitting on his lap and showing off my standing skills ! I also showed him how powerful my leg kicks are when I kicked him right in his tummy a couple times :) Hehehe! Sorry Grandpa! I still love you! The next day my cousin on Jayce's side came over to visit me for the the first time since I came home!! (See Above!) Her name of course is Journee and wow she got big! You see if I would have came out of mommies tummy when I was supposed to Journee and I would have been born on the same week! So we look like we are the same age even though I am still older :) Anywho we both laid down and played with my toys, as you can see above I am trying to hand her one of my toys :) we had a WHOLE lot of fun :) Thank you for coming by to see me :) You better come back soon we can play some more :) And next time bring your own toys!! Hehehe Just kidding :)

Happy 29th birthday (mom says 29 is the oldest you can get... I Can Eat FOOD Now!!! Hallelujah!!

Hello everyone!! Hope your week was as GREAT as mine! Why was it so great you ask? Well that's because FINALLY after 8 LONNNNNNG months I am allowed to eat food!! Now I will get into that much more later :) Remember last week when I said I had to go to my Dr's to get my shots? Well ya that happened last Tuesday and what a rough time that was!! First off daddy got home early from work to take me and when we got there we had to wait and wait and waaaaaaaaait!! They then decided it was time to do my 6 month checkup, then realized I am really almost 9 months so decided to do that check up as well. Oye I think they maybe forgot I was a preemie or something because the nurse was mighty confused!

Anyways they finally just decided to do both of the checkups to be safe. First they weighed me and HOLY WOW I am now 16 1/2 pounds!!! Then they measured me and I was 27 1/2" long!! Holy Moly I sure have grown A LOT since being home!! But my head was only 43 cm, and when compared to the 41 I was at when I was released, my head sure has not grown that much :( Oh well who needs a big head anyways!! After all of that they did some tests to see if I could rollover yet and ya not so much :( Then tested my balance sitting up and yep failed that one too :( Then they tested how well I could stand up and Boo Ya!! I passed that test! You see my legs are WAY stronger than the rest of me and far more advanced, so I will have to make another appointment to see if I need any kind of physical therapy to help me balance and use my hands for more than just chewing on. But I guess this is normal for some preemies :) All the other tests I passed like my hearing and sight tests, and of course my smile test. :) Also no teeth yet they said :( So no steaks for me anytime soon I guess :(

Then the Dr. FINALLY gave daddy the OK to start feeding me some food!!! YAY!!! And I tell ya after the premature departure of my swing last week I sure could use happy news like this!! Then came all the bad stuff. Yep that's right shots... 3 of them... Right in my legs..... One... OUCH! TWO.... CRYING OUCH!!! And THREE SCREAMING OOOOOOOOOOUCH!!!! Oh man these Dr's have no remorse while they stab me either :( I know its supposed to make me healthy but GEEZ this stuff hurts!! Then after THAT ordeal I had to go get blood drawn to test my iron! UGH! I have been poked and prodded so much since birth whats one more hole in my little body! Daddy had to hold me down while the nurse stabbed my tiny little thumb and then the lady had to SQUEEZE it to get the blood out !!!! OUCH AGAIN!! Even worse was that I was told we could not even leave until my finger stopped bleeding!! So daddy got the gauze bandage and squeezed my thumb till it stopped, and at that point in time I had enough and decided to just go to sleep!! Daddy of course did his duties and got my thumb to stop bleeding and then FINALLY we were on our way home :) And to food!! :)

Now there was one rule to my food eating, and that was I could only eat stuff with ONE ingredient this is so we can tell if I become allergic to any one particular thing. Which is fine by me! Anything is better than formula at this point in time!! Once we got home mommy started me off with some Banana's and let me tell you I was in such SHOCK over the fact it didn't taste like formula that at first I didn't even like it!! Mom tried a couple more spoon fulls but I was not having it all, probably because I was still pretty cranky from the Dr appointment :( So instead it was off to bed for me because of my really long day. Now my nights have been slightly better than last week. I have gotten used to the fact that my good ole swing is now just a paper weight so I am forced to sleep in my crib. So far so good :) And now with the addition of food in my life mamma can now put rice in my bottle's too to help me out with sleeping, and so far I am only getting up about once or twice a night now :) Yay for me!!

Now during the rest of the week Grandma Berta, Mommy and even sometimes daddy got to feed me different kinds of foods. I have had bananas, pears, apple sauce, carrots, rice and sweet potatoes and so far my FAVORITE by A LOT is Sweet Potatoes I just LOVE them!! I can almost eat half a jar in one sitting!! This whole food thing is probably the most wonderful thing that has happened to me since Christmas!! :) Thank you Dr's for finally giving in to my food demands :) Over the next few weeks I will let you all know what foods I like and don't like, what a fun time its gonna be trying all these new things :)

As for the rest of the week it was business as usual, that was until Sunday .. It was the SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!! Yay!! My first one ever! Even though I really didn't care for the teams playing it was sure exciting to see all the action! My god parents came over too and spent the day with us all watching the big game :) Now the only bad part was EVERYONE else got to have BBQ and I was stuck with baby food :( Oh well certainly A LOT better than the way it was before :) Maybe at my next Superbowl I can get to eat the food too!!
And now I am afraid its that time YET AGAIN to say goodbye :( The week sure started off pretty rough for me, but as always it ended up good with more new and exciting things and great company :) I can't wait to see what new adventures I get into this week :) I love you all and don't forget to check out my March for Babies link below! Swinging Slobber Baby Going to the Dr Tomorrow!

Hello everyone! How was your week? Mine was very quiet and I got lots of time to just relax and hang out with my family, and of course drive them up a wall at night time!! My transition from my swing to my crib full time has been rough on me because I just LOVE to swing, but I am too big for it and I am afraid that after last night it may not even work anymore :( Last night was a rough one I couldn't sleep longer than a couple hours and I ended up having 4 bottles last night!!! That's CRAZY even for me, and it all went really bad once the swing stopped working altogether :( You see my mommy has been weening me off the swing by starting me in it to fall asleep then daddy would move me to the crib, but last night I was not gonna have it! I made them move me back to my lovely swing and shortly after, it went kaput :( Now I doubt that I can talk them into getting me a new one so I suppose this baby's days of swinging have come to a very abrupt end :(

RIP Swing you will be sorely missed... You were my greatest toy/friend :(.....

On to other news besides the tragic end of my Swing I have been slobbering A LOT lately! Now this could be because of many reasons. Maybe I am FINALLY teething!! Or maybe I am just eager to start eating real food that I cant stop salivating!! Or maybe I just like to slobber all over my face and pretty clothes!! I honestly don't know but my mouth has become a runny faucet lately!! Heck the only way for grandma Berta to save my clothes during the day is to keep a bib on me all day long!! I have also been sticking my tongue out at people too! And when I blow with my tongue out it makes a cool noise that makes my cheeks shake!! I saw mama do it back to me once so I figured I would give it a try! Its mighty fun stuff let me tell you! Especially while I am drooling cause then daddy will get sprayed with all my slobber!! Its quite funny actually :) Maybe all this slobber will lead to a tooth eventually...Here's Hoping!

As stated in the blog title tomorrow I have my next synagis appointment :( Yep that means a whole lot more shots to get stuck in my poor little leg :( BUT the good news is that they may finally lift my food ban and let me TRY some food for once!! I bet I will be sleeping through the night in no time once that happens ! I am SUPER excited for that possibility! Cause personally drinking like a gallon of formula everyday is getting really old and starting to make me look really pudgy!! And I NEED some variety in life! So keep your fingers crossed guys and let's hope for the best :)

And now unfortunately its about that time once again to call it a night. Hopefully tonight I have a much better night so my mommy and daddy don't disown me :( It was pretty bad :( Sorry guys :( And it will also be my first night without my wonderful swing friend.... More Donations and a Special Visitor!!

Hello everybody! How was your guy's week?? Mine was awesome as usual! Nothing really new to report on my end just the same ole sleeping, playing, and eating :) I still am trying really hard to sit up and keep my balance, I am getting better at it but not quite there just yet :( I am getting to the point that I really don't like laying on my back anymore, I just LOVE to be held upright so I can see the world, so once I can figure this out on my own I am sure to be a happy baby!

As you can see above I am playing my toy tablet that I am OBSESSED with!! I just can't get enough of the fun noises it makes and all the pretty lights!! In fact every picture on this blog I think I have it with me! Anyways now let me tell you where we're at with the March Of Dimes March for Babies. We are now 103 days away from the march and we are at 220 dollars! So only 1780 dollars to go!! Way to go guys!! And a HUGE thank you to my Great Grandparents from the east coast for their amazing donation of 100 dollars!!!! That's awesome thank you soooo much!!! Now I forgot to tell you last week whom else has donated so I could thank them personally! My Auntie Lorrie, and my Auntie Vicki's friend Jordan!! Thank You both SOOOOO much for helping support all preemies and their mommies, makes me feel sooo happy knowing you all are making a difference :) Now if you too would like to help out be sure to click my pretty face below at the end of this blog :) You can see who all is on Team Olivia and other fun stuff about our March for Babies. Later in the week we had some visitors too!! First of all my good friend Sam came over to spend time with me!! This was one of the first times in a LONG time she was free to come and see me since I got out of the hospital, so she did just that and we had loads of fun!! She spent the whole time playing with me and loving on me :) But eventually she wore me out with all out fun and I had to go to sleep :( Oye you better come back to see me soon Sam!! And tell Heighlee to get better soon so she can come over and play with me :) Love you Sam and thanks for coming by :) Now on Sunday we had one of our Awesome football parties again!! The god parents Amber and Chad came over as did Jade, and Brian and Jordyn! Again just like last week daddy spent the whole day sad cause all his teams lost :( I am beginning to think he is bad luck when he roots for teams!! At least that's what my god parents say!!! Hehehe! I had loads of fun spending my time with Jade and Amber!! I got held and played with the whole time!! Even Brian held me and played with me :) It's gonna be really sad when football is over!! My Sundays are gonna be really quiet! Oh well I will just enjoy it while it lasts!!

March For Babies Time !!! & More Football !!!

Hello everyone! How was your week?? Mine has been good. As you can see above I am hard at work on the next entry to my blog :) (Actually dad is just playing around on twitter and I am waiting for my turn!!) Nothing much new to report here just the same ole some ole! I am starting to realize that the life of a baby is pretty much sleeping, eating, playing, smiling and crying! And I do A LOT of all the above!! I am getting better at night as of late, I have only really been waking up near 4-5 am, which is around the time daddy has to get up for work anyway, so it kinda works out for everyone :) I am his little alarm clock :) Mommy has been pushing me more to do my tummy time, and ya I pretty much still hate it!! I try though and I give it a good 2 min before I lose it and hysterically cry out loud for it to stop!! I am also getting real tired of just laying around on my back too, lately I have been wanting people to hold me upright so I can see everything around me. And if you dare try to lay me down I lose it!! I can't wait till I am able to sit up right on my own :) I try to do it myself, but I only get about half way up then I come tumbling back down to earth :( Oye and when I do get propped up I cant keep my balance too well and I just end up just toppling over anyway :( Hopefully I can figure that out soon! Now crawling on the other hand I am no where close to doing :( Mostly because I HATE tummy time and I never give myself a chance to even go through the motions of TRYING to crawl... I think I may be be walking before I actually crawl!! Lastly I still have no teeth :( I may be teething though... I don't really know yet but my mouth seems to always hurt and I sure do drool a lot... SO much so that Grandma has to keep a bib on me all the time so I don't wreck all my pretty clothes that I get to wear. Maybe a tooth will pop out in the next couple weeks, who knows!

Now if you haven't figure it out yet, I just turned 8 months old last week! AKA 5 months old adjusted. Still is crazy to think that just 5 months ago I was in my plastic box fighting to get home! Then it got me thinking, there were soooo many other babies there with me and other parents like my own that came in everyday to keep their babies happy that maybe I should do something super special for all the new preemies and make them feel the love that I received all the time :) But what do I do? I remembered just then of this institution called the March of Dimes that helps mothers have full term babies and also does studies on things that cause premature births. They raise money to help babies like myself get healthy and get home as quickly as possible too! Also they help health care providers better support their babies when we do end up in the NICU and ICU. In other words this is a VERY important organization that is fighting to help and prevent premature babies all around the world :)

Did you know 1 out of every 8 babies are born prematurely like myself? That is a crazy statistic!! And most babies that are born this early have serious health problems... They are here to prevent all premature births through research so no other babies ever have to go though what i did :) So after saying ALL of this I need help from you ladies and gentlemen. My mother and god mother have formed a team of people that will walk in my name for the March for Babies which is sponsored by the March of Dimes!! How cool is that!! They do this walk to help spread awareness of the March of Dimes Association and provide support for all the other preemies that need our help. The walk will be on May 4th at 9 am. Now we only have 110 days left to reach our goal of 2,000 dollars and currently we are 1900 short! Now my mommy just started this so we all have lot's of time here, so please if you would like to donate, or join our walk, or even just see what all of this is about please visit Team Olivia Vannoy! (Just Click The Pink Letters!!) I will update our progress weekly on here in hopes that we reach our donation goal :) Now remember funds raised for the March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and help babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care. This is a very good cause people so please spread the word :) And Thank You!

Now as for the rest of the week, we had everyone over again on Sunday to watch another THRILLING Seahawks game!! The whole gang was there too! God parents Amber and Chad, Auntie Vicki and Cousin Sammi, Jade and Jordyn, Brian and Kalia with Peyton too! It was another fun day of getting loving's from everyone there too!! And Everything was SUPER fun until...... we lost :( Yep it was my first experience of watching poor ole daddy deal with a loss from his favorite team... He took it pretty tough, but I was there to cheer him up of course :) I had so much fun these past weeks with everyone in the family getting together to root on the Hawks!! It's gonna be sad to see it end :( Guess everyone will just have to come over for something besides football from now on! Hey How about to just see me!!! :) Thank you all for coming I really had a lot of fun, and like always I cant get enough of all the attention and loving I get from all of you :) I love you guys!!

Nice Queit Week... Then SUNDAY Happened! :)

Hello everybody! Well I am finally back to my normal blog schedule after all the madness in the last 2 weeks. And after all that craziness it's nice to have things back to normal :) The last 2 weeks brother and sister were out of school for winter break, so it was pretty fun having them around me all day everyday, but today they went back to school and that was kinda sad :( Oh well just more Grandma and Livi time :) This week went by very quickly. Lots of extra sleep and play time :) Oh and Auntie Krista came by on Saturday to give me my Christmas presents :) I got a glow worm and some VERY pretty clothes :) Thank you sooooo much Krista I LOVE THEM!!! The clothes are 9 month sizes too because I am already starting to out grow my 6 months clothes!!! Can you believe that!! Crazy how quickly I am growing now huh!! Other than all of that no real news at all just the same ole same ole for me :)

Here you can see me getting my tummy time on! Yes those elusive toys in front of me I try to get but I never succeed :( This crawling thing is gonna take some work! And ya I don't think I am any where close to ready either. I can't even keep my head up longer than a couple minutes, then I get frustrated Yell and scream and try to turn over. Ya pretty much I hate tummy time, but everyone keeps forcing me to do it! Maybe I will like it better when I learn how to hold myself up better but until then I HATE IT!!! :)

Now you see here, this I do LOVE!! I just can't get enough of beating on that keyboard and making me some fancy music!! I also love the little mirror hanging above my head because I get to see myself smile!! And that in fact makes me smile back at myself! It's a never ending cycle :) Now this toy I can just lay here for a long time and just play :) It's very fun you all should get one for yourself!! :)

Now Sunday came around and it was game day!! Yes my beloved Seahawks were playing in the playoffs and I had to steal my daddies hat for the game!! (See above!) And EVERYONE came over to watch the game with me!! Auntie Vicki, Uncle Terry, Cousin Sammi, Cousin Matti, Jade, Jordyn, Brian, Kalia, God Mommy Amber & God Dad Chad too!!! Now the game didn't start off too well, but we recovered and so did my daddy! You see he was pretty upset in the beginning and was very quiet... which if you know my daddy is not a good sign! Then we Scored!! And he got soooo happy he screamed and jumped! And it almost scared me to tears!!!! He gets really loud and festive when we do good you see :) Ah yes but eventually we won and this Seahawks baby has another game to watch next weekend!! Thank You guys for all coming over and spending the day with me :) Can't wait to see you all next weekend!! It was really fun!!! :)

And yes after the long day that was yesterday I am a tired baby!! I know this is pretty short but when nothing new is going on it's hard to entertain you guys :) So you will just have to hope I do something new and amazing for next week :)

Happy New Year!!! & It's Christmas Time Part 2!!

Hello Everyone! Well I have sure do have a lot to talk about today, mostly because I still owe you guy’s part 2 of the Christmas blog, and A LOT has gone on in the last 2 days, and that's why you all had to wait! So I'm sorry guys but I wanted to get everything in this post here! But FIRST THINGS FIRST! Look above, notice anything different about me?? And NO it’s not the fact I still don't have hair, it’s my EARS!!! Look at them! YES I GOT EAR RINGS IN!!! YAY! My sister and I both got Christmas Gift cards to Clair's to go get them pierced, Alexis went first and then I did! She cried just a little (after they had to trick her into getting them done) and ya I pretty much yelled for a good 3 min afterwards, but I am COMPLETELY over it now!! So how does it look guys?? I sure do LOVE IT! And I'm happier we got it done now because I will NEVER remember this anyway!! And it really beats what Alexis had to go through! I glad that is over now, and now my sister and I are even PRETTIER than we were before!!! :) Now yesterday I had my Dr's appointment and this time mommy got to take me! (Daddy had to work) They gave me my dreaded synergies shot UGH!! And 2 of them!! And I still have to go three more times every month UGH! And 2 shots EACH TIME!!! Anyways I cried the whole time I was there because I was cranky and tired and being shot in the leg twice sure did not help matters at all. But soon after the shots I fell right asleep and completely forgot about the horrors at the Dr's office! And YES I got weighed too and now I am 15 pounds 2 ounces!!! Holy cow I am getting big! I have already doubled my weight almost since I got released!!! Also yesterday was New Years Eve and I got to go over to my God Parents house with mommy and daddy to ring in the New Year! And of course I missed it! I was asleep at 8 o'clock so yeah no fireworks show for me :( Oh well maybe next year! So yes quiet a busy 2 days and now maybe I can rest the rest of the week!!! Other than all of that there is nothing really new to report so I'll just finish up with my Christmas Story Part 2!! :)

Now this is where I left you guys last week with me looking like the stay-puff marshmallow baby, so let’s continue. Now last Monday was Christmas Eve, and Jayce, Alexis AND Preston all had left to go with their other families for the day so it was just Mommy, Daddy and I. So we decided it would be fun to spend Christmas Eve with Grandma Berta, Uncle Joey, Auntie Sarah, and Uncle Seth!! And it sure was fun because I was the star of the show getting to open all my presents first!! Grandma made some amazing smelling dinner for everyone BUT me and then it was on to opening up my gifts! (AKA Mom open's them and I get to watch!)

Look at that! It’s a night time bear that plays be music to sleep by, which beats the heck out of falling asleep to CNN every night! (Ya that jab was aimed at you daddy!) I love it!! It's almost half my size too so I can snuggle with it for years to come!! Thank You Auntie Sarah & Uncle Seth!!

Here I got some fun looking toys from my uncle Joey! First there is a little computer like tablet thingy that will make me super smart! And some animals in the forms of shapes that I put into a tray!! Super Fun!!! Can't wait to try that stuff once I get big enough to even understand how to use it!!! Soon enough I will though :) Thank you Uncle Joey!!!

And oh my GOSH!! Would you look at that it’s a piano I can play with my FEET! I just LOVE stomping my feet and now I can her music every time I do!! My Grandma Berta got me that wonderful thing! I can lay on it and whack around the dangly toy's with my hands and then beat on the keyboard with my feets to make beautiful music!!! I certainly will have lots of fun with this!! :) Thank you Grandma Berta!

And would you look at that! It's my very own Christmas ornament for 2012!! They are little reindeer booties with my name on it!!! Thank You Grandma! They are Awesome! Hopefully next year I will be big enough to put them on the tree all by myself!!

I spent the rest of the night just hanging out and watching all the adults open up there presents. :) Everyone sure did get A LOT of cool things! Like my daddy he got a printer to print out pictures of ME of course!! I had a super fine time! Thank you Grandma Berta, Joey, Sarah & Seth I love you very much!

Oh yes Today is CHRISTMAS DAY!! Now I heard rumors from my brothers and sister of a Jolly old Man wearing a red suit that would come down our chimney and bring us presents for being good boys and girls! Now at first it seemed a little farfetched but low and behold it happened!! I woke up and there were presents EVERYWHERE! Even in my stocking! Holy cow this is awesome! I thought for sure all those long nights I put the mommy & daddy through were going to come back to haunt me and stick me right at the TOP of the naughty list, but it didn't!!! I must have done something good between birth and now to deserve all of this :) Thank You Santa!! Now I was the only kid there so I had to wait for my brothers and sister to get home, but once they did it was PRESENT TIME AGAIN! My Grandma Rolene and Grampie Gary even came by to share in on all the fun! Oh and Auntie Jade too! But sadly I have no pictures other than the one above wearing my new stylish hat! Daddy took pictures of EVERYONE else but me!! What Gives!! It's ok though he has taken thousands of pictures of me this year, and it's time everyone else got some camera love :) Like I said before I got this VERY pretty hat that I can wear during these cold months that my Grammie made for me :) I LOVE IT Thank you SOOOOO Much!! I may look a little crabby in the picture, but that was because I was getting tired and needed my nap :) Everyone else spent the whole morning opening up their gifts and as usual mama helped me open mine :) I got my Ear Piercing Gift Card, some pretty Ear Rings, a toy airplane that sings to me, and a steering wheel that makes me think I am a race car driver!! All VERY fun stuff!! Now I am just so over whelmed with all my new fun things to do I don't know what to do first!! :) Even my special relatives from back east (Remember the one's from back in July whom all flew out from Philadelphia just to see me!!) GOT ME A PRESENT!! It got sent in the mail and it was two BEAUTIFUL outfits!!! Thank you guys for thinking of little ole me :) I love it!!! And Of course thank you to Grammie & Pappi, Mom & Dad, and Brother's & Sister. You really all made today special for me :) I really did not need gifts at all just the thought of having all my loved ones around me all the time is gift enough for little ole me :) Now this is the season of giving (from what I heard) and I may not have much to give you all in return (other than this blog) but I will give you all my love all the time and forever :) And maybe a laugh and a few smile as well :) So again thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do for me, even if you all think it is not much, trust me it means the world to me and my parents just to know you all are thinking about me and loving me :) Thank You :)

Now as for the rest of the day we went BACK over the grandma Berta's house so the other kids could open up there presents from her. I just watched and enjoyed the show :) BUT Grandma just had to get a picture with her and all her Grand kids so here you go Grandma See Below!

Such a Happy group all we are :) Again thank you all for being patient with me when it comes to this blog, I can't say it will never be late again, but I will be sure to let you know if it's going to be late :) I love you all, and I hope everyone reading this had as great a Christmas and New Year as I did. Family and Friends like you all is the most wonderful thing I could have ever hoped for coming into this world as early as I did. So I a bid you farewell 2012 and Welcome you in 2013! Lots of big things are in store for me this year! Lots of first's too! Hopefully I will be healthy and happy and stay as FAR away from the hospital as I can!! I am home now and there is no place in the world that I would rather be :)

Olivia's First Christmas!! :) And What a JOY It Was !!

Hello everybody! Your festive holiday preemie Angel is here to FINALLY tell you all about my WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! Now as you can see above I was already in the festive holiday spirit by showing off my awesome winter coat my Grandpa and Grandma Moisio got me! But lets get down to business, First of all I am still the cranky lil baby you all know and love. Yes I'm still driving mom up the walls at night and making daddy want to sleep in the garage. Yes I may be almost 8 months now, but I STILL can't and WON'T sleep through the night!! (Unless someone else is watching me of course!) Anyways, I have a Dr's appointment on Monday for my next shot :( and besides all of that, it pretty much is the same as it always is :) I will add though, I am absolutely LOVING laying on the ground and watching the pretty lights of the TV and use my feet to kick dad's stuff around all the time :) I am also attempting to try and sit up, but that is not working out too well :( Oh well, I will get it, you will see!! Ok, now for the good part ON TO MY CHRISTMAS STORIES!!!!

First on my Christmas family tour was my Daddies Aunties house. She is of course the one and only Auntie Patty! Now my Uncle Steve had to work so he had to miss seeing me :( but I am sure I will see him soon :) My daddies cousins were there as well and wouldn't you know it, they happen to be one of the FEW family members I have NEVER met!! So exciting!! But for starters, if you look above you will see that is Auntie Patty holding me and that is my Daddies Cousin Ed's son Conner! Got that? Kinda confusing I know, so I will just call him 3rd Cousin Conner! :) He got to meet me for the first time too!! And now we get to meet my Cousin Ed! See Below!

As you can tell he was obliviously VERY happy to meet me finally and as was I! I may not look all that excited here but those big arms of his gave me quite the loving squeeze!! Now My cousin Tom was behind him, but like myself, Ed decided to hog all the spot light so I will have to show you ANOTHER photo for you to meet cousin Tommy! See Below!

Yep here he his holding me for the first time!! Such a nice guy he was too! :) Oh and yes you can see my Auntie petting my lack of hair too :) (Don't worry guys the hair is GROWING) Anyways Christmas with the family was VERY fun. We all don't get to see each other that often, so we all took advantage of that time together with spending it by visiting and everyone getting a little one on one time with Miss Preemie Princess :) Afterwards everyone got to eat lunch/dinner and you know what I GOT TO EAT!!! Ya that's right formula..... Ugh... Anyways, after everyone got done eating (and I got done watching them eat) It was PRESENT TIME!!! :)

Now I will have A LOT of pictures from here on out, so I will be keeping the caption's short when it comes to pic's of my MANY presents! But as you can see above here, this is a VERY PRETTY purple Jacket(Go DAWGS!) Oh look and matching pants!! Very SOFT too!! I LOVE IT!!

And would you look at that! BATH TOYS!! Some Stacking cups to play with, and splash water out of the tub with, and some fun little animal floating thingies that I can chew on and throw out of the tub and into the toilet to make daddy go and fetch!! Hehehehe :) I LOVE IT!!

After that I watched as all the other kids got to open their presents, they sure got some FUN stuff indeed! Soon after it was time to say goodbye :( I'm gonna Miss you Auntie Patty and Cousin's Ed & Tom and of course you too Conner!! I better see ALL of you guys soon !! And next time make sure Uncle Steve comes along with!! Tell him I said So!! :) I love you all And THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!

Next up on the Olivia Christmas Tour Bus was Grandma and Grandpa Moisio's house!! Once we got there we had to wait for Grandma Debbie to get off work, so everyone had dinner again, and AGAIN I had to sit and watch with envy while everyone had PIZZA UGH!! Soon after that tortuous event of watching everyone eat AGAIN, Grandma showed up and it was time for MORE PRESENTS! BUT before we get to that, I will say I was not the only one there at grandma's! My brother's Jayce and Preston were with me and of course my sister Alexis too! Along to join in on all the fun was Auntie Vickie, Uncle Terry, Cousin Matti, and the infamous Cousin Sammi too! So now on to the Gifts!

Here you can see I got me some books!! Now of course I can't read yet (But I sure can write blogs huh!) But I am sure I can make my mommy and daddy read them to me!! This is from my Great Grandma all the way from Arizona!! Thank you soo much! BUT WAIT you see that picture of a cross on the chair there! My Great Grandma made that just for me!! She made it so god can watch over me always, and keep me safe :) Mommy is gonna hang that right above my crib :) Thank you soo much! I love it!! :)

Here you can see me watching as cousin Matti and mommy open up the my rocking house!!! Grandpa and Grandma got me that bad boy!! As soon as I am able to hold my self up I will be sure to try and tackle that wonderful toy! Heck even grandpa tried to ride it after he built it for me! (It was quiet the amusing sight let me tell ya! That poooooor horse...) I sure can't wait to use it! Thank you soo much!

Next was a WHOLE bunch of stuff! First in the box was some chew toys that are really gonna make my day, (and make my thumbs Jealous!) and a WHOLE lot of pretty clothes (One of which I was wearing at their beginning of this blog) Now to save you all from staring at LOTS more photos I will just let you know what I got, I GOT A GLOW WORM!!!! (This was from Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry) Now I did have a pic but somehow daddy messed it up, so you all will have to use your imagination! I also got Christmas Dresses, 2 of them!!! and my coat you saw above!! Here is one of my dress's below!

Very beautiful huh!! I LOVE IT!! (I may look upset above and that's only because I could not have any pizza earlier!!)

And here is my last gift at Grandma & Grandpa's, it's a giant ball that moves BY ITSELF!! It is supposed to make me crawl after it too. Its SOOOO weird how that thing just starts moving by itself! Must be some magical force that I am unaware of..... spooky!

After that I was SUPER tired from all the excitement and It was time to go home! So I said Goodbye to the Family of mine!! Thank you all SOOOOO much for all the Fun gifts and beautiful clothes!! I had soo much fun :)

Now everything that happened above happened on Saturday the 22nd, Sunday I spent the day with Jade while mommy and daddy had there Seahawks game. And the Seahawks WON AGAIN!!! Wooohooo!! That was pretty much it for Sunday, but I sure did have lot's of fun! Thanks Jade!! Now Monday was Christmas eve, and Jayce, Alexis AND Preston all left to go with there other families for the day so it was just Mommy, Daddy and I. So we decided it would be fun to spend Christmas Eve with Grandma Berta, Uncle Joey, Auntie Sarah, and Uncle Joey!!

Buuuuuuuut I have noticed this blog has gotten REALLY LONG, So I will call this Part 1 of 2. I am pretty tired but I promise I will finish with all my Christmas adventures this weekend with Part 2. I want you all to know I am sorry for taking so long to get you this blog, but It will be worth it in the long run :) I love you all and I will see you all soon with Part 2 :)

Just a Quiet Week at Home & Waiting For Christmas!!

Hello Everybody! How was your week?? Mine was very quiet, and I had lots of time to just relax and stare at my pretty Christmas tree :) Which was really just about all I did this week! Oh but as you can see in the picture above, my Auntie Sarah got me a new toy to stand in! This one even has a puppet that seems to come alive every time my Mommy comes near it!! Weird!! Its got a bunch of buttons that make fun noises that I just love!! Thank You Auntie I love it!!

Now one of few things I actually did get to do this week besides eating and sleeping was going to my sister's Christmas Musical! It was sure a lot of fun hearing everyone sing their pretty Christmas songs and my sister was the BEST obviously! So good in fact that my daddy got her roses!! Even Grandpa Andy made the trip out to see her perform :) And of course Grandpa had to hold me for a little bit, but I think he spent too much time pinching my chubby cheeks! See Below!!

Geez his hands are almost the size of my face!! Yeah I am just looking at him wondering when the torture was gonna end!! Just kidding Grandpa! :) Anyways later in the week I went with my mommy and daddy out to do the last of the Christmas shopping and like always complete strangers come up to me and just stare and comment on how pretty I look :) Little do they know that this princess at one time was only 2 pounds!! Man how time flies :) After all of our shopping adventures were over I got to watch my mommy wrap up all the presents for my brother's and sister, they sure are gonna love their gifts from me :)

And Sunday the Godparents came over just to see me!! Ok actually they came over to watch the Seahawks when yet ANOTHER game!! Whooohooo Go Hawks!! And as you can see above I am just as into the game as my daddy!! Amber though seems really into me :) Later Grandpa came over again to visit me and fix our messed up oven too. Thank You Grandpa for fixing our food heater upper!! :) As you can see now a VERY quiet week indeed, but it's all good I need quiet weeks from time to time just so I don't get too overwhelmed :) Next week will be Christmas time!! I am SOOOOOO excited too!! Lots of stuff going on next weekend and I CANT WAIT!! :) Now I may not have my blog up next week until after Christmas, so look for my weekly update on the 26th which is a Wednesday I think :)

And as you can see above I am getting cranky now and probably getting a cold as well or maybe its allergies, either way I am off to bed for the night!! I love you all and I will see you all next week to talk about my first Christmas! :)

It's Christmas Time!! & I Got To Meet Santa!!!

Hello everyone!! How are all of you?? I am very VERY well! I had a nice calm week once again and a VERY fun weekend!! These calm weeks have been really nice because it gets me nice and rested for my crazy weekends!! This week was spent getting ready for Christmas time! Now of course before this week I had NO CLUE what Christmas even was, but now I sure do! And now I am REALLY excited for it!!

You see that over there? That was an ornament that my mommy got for my daddy to let him know that I was growing in my mommy's tummy!! He got to find out about me when he opened the gift and saw this ornament :) Very cool idea mommy :) But maybe she thought I was gonna be a boy becuase it is baby blue and not Pink!! Oye anyways the date this all happened was 12/12/11. Its crazy its been a year now that I've been around (half inside my mommy of course), it is also nice to know that I was apart of last year's Christmas too :) That makes me smile! Then right next to my first ornament on the tree is another ornament gotten for me from my god mommy! See Below!

Very fitting don't you all think ?? :) Thank you God Mama Amber I love it!!! :) I got to watch daddy bring home our brand new christmas tree with all it's pretty lights, then I got to watch Jayce and Alexis hang up all their ornaments. They sure looked like they had a lot of fun!! Especially Alexis, whom got to put the star on the top of the tree! Hopefully next year I get a chance to help out and not just watch! They did a wonderful job and the tree got put right next to my chair too! So now I get to see all them pretty lights all the time!!

See! I get to be under the tree just like a present :) I had a pretty normal week as well, you know wake up, eat, cry, sleep and repeat! I am still giving my parents a hard time at night, nothing new there :( Good thing they really like me or else I think they would have tried to return me back to ICU by now!! I still waking up 2-3 times a night or every 2 hours basically ugh! But I have been doing better just laying by myself and keeping myself entertained with toys and other things. I STILL hate tummy time too! I cant do it longer than a couple of minutes everyday, it just drives me crazy!! Grandpa Andy also brought me a new toy, Look!

Yea! now I can stand up kinda, and then whack around all these fun toys around me! I LOVE this thing! Even though my mommy scared me soooooo bad when I first got put in this thing, she slapped around one of the loud rattle toys and it scared me so bad I screamed for like 5 minutes!! She almost permanently scared me for life!! Luckily my memory is not that good and I was able to go right back in it and have fun :) I just love standing up and being able to see everything around me, its my favorite thing to do!!

Now on the weekend we got to go over to my Great-Great Aunt and Uncles house!! They're names are Don and Lorrie. Now I have met them a couple times before today and they sure were surprised on how well I look and how BIG I have gotten lately! Now we were over here because they were able to write a letter to santa and get him to come over to the house to talk to all the kids! Now I had NO CLUE who santa was but once I found out I sure was excited to meet him!! Santa came in after we all played games and ate and he got all of us kids youngest to oldest to sit on his lap and tell him what we wanted for christmas! Of course I was the youngest so I got to go first! But unfortunately I can't talk yet so I just sat there and posed for pictures with jolly ole saint nick :) Afterwards he gave all of us our very own Jingle bells that we all get to ring on Christmas Eve to remind him to come to our house! Very fun! Everyone else got to make a gingerbread man and Christmas decorations. I on the other hand just got to watch :( Oh well next year I will able to participate more :) It was sooooo much fun to meet santa and all my other family members that were there, Thank you SOOOOOO much Great Auntie and Uncle :)

Here is the picture of all of us posing :) Such a great looking family we have :) The next day I went over to Jade's house with Jayce and Alexis while mommy and daddy went to their Seahawks Game. As usual I had loads of fun over there too!! I got to watch Alexis and Jade make cupcakes :) Another thing I would LOVE to try but I cannot :( Thank you Jade for watching me :) Ill see you again soon!! Well that was pretty much it for my week, loads of fun and now it's the countdown for Christmas and I sure hope I am on santa's good list! Lots of Birthday's! And Back to the Dr. Ugh! :(

Why hello there everybody!! How was every one's week?? Mine started pretty slow and ended with lots of fun times!! I had two birthday parties to go to (FUN!) and I had to go back to the Dr. again (not FUN), and all of that was in a matter of 3 days!! But then you look at the first half of the week, and it was very peaceful and calm :) Trust me after all the excitement with family and friends the week prior I needed it!! I got to relax and just grow some more :) And when your a miniature princess you need nice calm days every once in a while :)

Now like I was saying the first half was pretty quiet and all I really did was hang out with my Grandma Berta and Auntie Sarah (because they watch me everyday!) and of course hang out with daddy & mommy! Now the second my daddy walks in the door I KNOW IT!!! If he does not come over and say hello to me I LOSE IT! And if he does and then walks away too soon I LOSE IT ALSO!!! I need my daddy time, so I FORCE him to not do anything else but cater to my all my needs :) Hehehehe I have said it before but I know for a fact now.... I OWN HIM!!! :) But he will eventually get me to take a nap so he can make dinner for everyone else and then start with cleaning house. Eventually mommy will get home by the time I get up from my nap and then its MOMMY time, and I do the same to her as I do my daddy! I got these parents of mine trained!! Then the inevitable happens I get tired and cranky then its back to the halo blanket and then off to bed :( And YES I still am waking up 1-2 times a night :( Oye maybe once I am allowed to eat food I will get better :) Just ask mommy how much she loved me the other night when I woke up 5 times in 5 hours!! I think daddy was on strike that night :)

As for the rest of the week I had a couple birthday parties to go to! First was my cousin Sammi's first birthday!! What a special day that is!! So many people came to celebrate with her and my Auntie Vicki and Uncle Terry! She got so many presents, toys and clothes, and let me tell you they were VERY PRETTY clothes at that! I can't WAIT for my first birthday, hard to believe that it's only 5 months away!! But the best part of all with her birthday was she got to eat her very own cake!! I am VERY envious of that one!! It sure did look good too!! All my family was there too, as you can see above I even got to be held by my Grandpa Andy!! I got to meet lots of new people for the first time too, people that have only heard about me through this blog, it was really cool and lots of fun! It was sure nice meeting you all and Thank you for all your well wishes and compliments :) And to you Sammi, Happy Birthday Cousin!!!! :) I sure do love you, and I hope you like the toy princess mirror I got you :)

The next day we had Jayce's younger brother's birthday! His name is Jordyn and he turned 7 years old!! It was super fun mostly because my good friend (whom also is a baby) Katie was there to hang out with me!! As you can see above we both were having our tummy time. She has me beat though, I could only hold my self up for a very short time and she was having no issues at all!! We are about the same age if you count my adjusted age of 3 1/2 months. We laid there and played with each other most of the time while everyone else had cake and watched Jordyn open up his presents :) It sure looked like he loved all his presents and had a lot of fun too! Happy Birthday Jordyn and thank you for inviting me and my family over to celebrate it :) I hope you like the game we got you!! :)

And finally I had my Dr's appointment for my Synagis Shot :( I have to go in every month for this shot for the next 5 MONTHS!!! Ugh, I need this shot to prevent RSV which spells utter doom for little preemie princesses like myself. So I have to just tough it out :( Anyways I was weighed and measured again and guess what! I am now 14 pounds 2 ounces!!! And I am 25 1/2" long too! And even my head grew a little bit!! Still no food for me though, Dr says formula only because of all the issues I had with my tummy 4 months ago :( Prob have to wait till I am 9 months before i can even start rice! Oye. I am doing good on my new formula too but I still need my Iron drops twice a day. Other than that they were once again very impressed with how well I am doing and how smart and alert I am :) Oh and the Dr. could not hear my heart murmur either so now they are VERY SURE that it has closed up on its own :) Happy Day!!! A Week of Family & Friends :) & My 6 Month Shots :(

Hello Everybody! Well after a pretty slow and calm week last week, this week was VERY busy!! This past week as you all already know was Thanksgiving! My very First!! And it was also my 6 month check up!! Now this was just my normal checkup that all babies get at 6 months, and I will get into more of that later. But first things first! I have been doing so much better with seeing, grabbing, and playing with all my toys! I can grab super good now, and I can kick all my dangling toys really good too! I just love the sound it makes when my foot makes contact! Sometimes I try talking to my toys with my lil coo's and hum's but they never respond :( Oh well I'll just keep smacking them around with my lil feets until they talk back!! :) Other than that I still haven't figured out how to giggle or laugh yet :( But I still think I am close!! And my nights have been just about the same, wake up here and there, but I go back to sleep just as quickly as I wake up, so that's good :) Wanna see my hug my favorite toy!! Look Below!

Like I said earlier I had my Dr's appointment this week and it was my 6 month check up so that means...... I got stabbed :( Yes it was horrible, I got 4 shots!! It was insane! They struck me with that needle 4 times, 2 in each leg! It was so quick I didn't have a chance to react before the next one got me!! I turned bright red then exploded with a giant yell!! The nurse put some fancy bandaids on me and before I knew it the pain went away and I was feeling much better :) But STILL little preemie princess's that have been through as much as I have shouldn't have to go through such things!! Yikes!

Also at my Dr. appointment I got GREAT news!!! I can now move to regular formula!! No more extra calories for me!! I still need my iron drops twice a day but that is it!! I am FINALLY starting to feel like a little normal little baby!! :) I was also weighed and I now weigh 13 pounds 13 ounces!!! That's over 11 pounds I grew since birth!!! I also grew a whole inch in length since the last month I was measured! So now I am 25 1/4" long! My head grew too, it is now at 40cm. So I guess all the extra calories from my formula was paying off, and I am really starting to finally fill out!! :) Oh and that is not the only thing growing, my hair is REALLY coming back now, so pretty soon I should have all my beautiful locks back :) The Dr. also did a smile test with me. He took a book with a bunch of babies smiling to see how I would react when I look at them, and guess what, I smiled right back at the pictures!! This I heard is something that normal 6 month old babies do, and look at me I am only "actually" 3 months and already wowing Dr's with my intelligence! I am becoming such a smart little princess :) That was about it for the news at the Doctor's. Sometime next week I will have to go back and get one more shot :( Oye I am not looking forward to that, but as always I will be fine :)

Now the other big news of the week is that it was Thanksgiving, and that means ALL of my favorite people came to visit just me!! (Well everyone in the family actually, but mostly just me!!) We had two Thanksgiving dinners because just about everyone had plans on thursday, so everyone who couldn't make it made plans to come over for dinner on friday. On thursday my Grandma Berta and Uncle Joey came over to have dinner with my Mommy, Daddy, Alexis and I :) It was mighty fun I havent seem my uncle Joey in quite a long while and he got to hold me and even got to feed me which was really neat :) I spent a bunch of time WATCHING people eat the great smelling food while I was just stuck here with my bottle :( Man I cant wait to grow some teeth so I can join in on the fun!! After Dinner I spent time with Grandma and Alexis posing for some pictures :) It was real fun seeing you guys, thank you so much for coming over and spending time with us :)

Here you can see my sister and I getting in on all the photo fun :) Hehehe too bad I look grumpy though! Oye anyways on friday LOTS of family came over to see me! First it was Vicki, Terry, Matti & Sammi! Then it was Grammy Rolene! Then it was Grandpa Andy with Grandma Debbie!! Then Jade Came too!! Then the God Parents Amber and Chad Came!! My brother's Jayce and Preston were here too along with Alexis :) Wow lot's of people means LOTS of fun for me!!! The day started off with the Apple Cup where Sammi and I were pitted against each other in a battle of Purple and Icky Crimson...... and well we will just pretend that I got the outcome I wanted and leave it at that :) Ugh stupid Cougs! Anyhow Grandpa Andy got to hold me for a while and then it was pass the baby around to everyone else:) I think EVERYONE that day got a chance to spend some time with me and that sure made my day :) Then yet again everyone ditches me to go eat some great smelling food, and I get left in a bassinet :( Ugh! Afterwards everyone visited then I was off to take my nap!

Now I did forget to mention that I got to go SHOPPING this week too!! Yes it was baby's first black friday!!! And my oh my was that exhausting!! Mommy and daddy were all running around stores like crazy while I was just watching all the madness around me!! It was intense!! Lots of people moving around, and I got so exhausted from looking at all these people I decided I was just gonna go to sleep! I don't think I ever want to be apart of all that ever again! But it was fun being out of the house though, lots of new things to stare at and analyze, even though I spent most of the time asleep :)

Now I heard that this holiday is special. It is when families get together and give thanks for all the wonderful things in their lives. And my oh my I have sooooo many good things! I could not even begin to list them all off, but I will try! First of all thank you to all my family and friends, this has been a very long year for all of you, and yet all of you have stuck by me and gave me your best wishes even though I have been nothing but a trouble maker since the beginning! I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of that. All the things you all do really mean the world to me even if it is as small as walking up to me and smiling or as simple as reading this blog. You all are my world and I love you all sooo much!! I am also thankful for all my Dr's and Nurses that stuck with me every hour of everyday for over 3 months to bring me home to my family :) Even today all you guys are in my thoughts and prayers :) Knowing that all of you are out there making sure other little preemies like myself are getting ready to go home really makes me happy... So very happy! :) Lastly I am VERY thankful for my pretty clothes and toys!!! Mostly because I had NONE of these things when I was stuck in my plastic box, and now I don't think I could ever go a day with out them!! :) Now I am not trying to be materialistic here I just don't know much of anything else just yet :)
