OmniSYS provides immunization billing services for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid payers

Dallas, TX – Did you know that approximately 50,000 adults die each year from vaccine-preventable
diseases in the U.S? An average of 36,000 Americans die annually due to influenza and its
complications – most are people 65 years of age and over.

OmniSYS provides electronic immunization billing services for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid
payers. Pharmacies can easily utilize their existing pharmacy management system at the time of
service to submit claims and receive real-time responses with the pharmacy's contracted network
pricing for the specific payer. If supported by the payer, the patient’s insurance coverage
will be confirmed by real-time eligibility edits. OmniSYS manages all HCPCs, administration
fee and ICD9 coding efforts to reduce the confusion of constantly changing billing rules for
immunization claims. OmniSYS' simplified claims processing solution allows pharmacies to meet
the expanding needs of their customers.

Due to the recent Healthcare Reform Law changes, commercial payers are expanding their support
of vaccination services performed by pharmacies and in most cases, copayments are not required.
In addition to flu and pneumonia vaccines, OmniSYS supports preventative vaccinations for Zoster,
Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, DTP, Polio, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus, HPV, and Meningococcal
for all commercial payers. Travel vaccines such as Polio, Rabies, Typhoid fever and Yellow fever
may also be covered.

OmniSYS expands Diabetic Self-Management Training billing service to all 50 states

OmniSYS addresses the growing needs of diabetic patients

Dallas, TX - OmniSYS announces the expansion of Diabetic Self-Management
Training (DSMT) Medicare Part B billing services to include all 50 states.
Medicare covers DSMT training services for beneficiaries to receive guidance
related to all aspects of diabetes in order to increase their knowledge
about their disease and learn how to exercise better control over their
own health. OmniSYS billing services provide real-time transactional edits
for Medicare eligibility, DSMT coverage limitations, allowable pricing
and remittance processing.

OmniSYS' DSMT product solution assists pharmacies in further expanding their
role to serve the healthcare needs of diabetic patients. By providing
preventative training, pharmacies are able to decrease healthcare costs for
Medicare patients and improve their healthcare outcomes. To participate, a
pharmacy's DSMT program must be accredited by American Diabetes Association
(ADA), the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) or Indian Health
Services (IHS). “OmniSYS is excited to expand DSMT services as this service
directly aligns with our strategy to develop effective healthcare solutions
enabling our clients to achieve stronger patient medication adherence results,”
said Tricia Fringer, OmniSYS' President-CEO.

In a position statement, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) has noted that
multiple studies have found that Diabetes Self-Management Education “is associated
with improved diabetes knowledge and improved self-care behavior, improved clinical
outcomes such as lower A1C, lower self-reported weight, improved quality of life,
healthy coping, and lower costs.” The ADA also cited studies finding that “diabetes
education is associated with increased use of primary and preventive services and
lower use of acute, inpatient hospital services. Patients who participate in diabetes
education are more likely to follow best practice treatment recommendations,
particularly among the Medicare population, and have lower Medicare and commercial
claim costs.” Other studies provide similar support in terms of DSMT associated cost
savings and DSMT associated positive diabetes health outcomes.

OmniSYS addresses diabetic patient adherence, high turnover
and brand loyalty with OmniLINK Advantage™

Dallas, TX, December 7, 2011 – OmniSYS announces the launch of
OmniLINK Advantage™, a high touch patient prescription adherence
program. According to the National Council on Patient Information
and Education (NCPIE), three out of four patients do not adhere to
their physician’s prescribed treatment plan. OmniLINK Advantage™
increases adherence and improves medical outcomes through a series
of patient interactions including customer care calls, refill
reminders, and educational mailings.

The program’s high-touch patient interaction model is proven to
increase diabetic patient market share and spend by approximately
30% through targeted adherence, retention, and reacquisition
strategies.

Retention
Pharmacies turnover at least 35% of their diabetic patients each
year. OmniLINK’s high-touch patient interaction model has proven
to increase patient retention by over 30%. Specialized Customer
Care Representatives guide patients through the Medicare maze and
provide diabetes management support to ensure optimal outcomes
thereby building customer loyalty.

Reacquisition
OmniSYS’ patient reacquisition campaigns target lost patients and
identify the reason they stopped treatment or left the Pharmacy and/or
the Manufacturer. Customer Care Representatives reinforce the importance
of testing, offer personalized meter training and diabetes management
support. OmniSYS has consistently achieved win-back success rates of
35%.

“The OmniLINK Advantage™ program has proven to significantly improve
prescription adherence for diabetic patients resulting in better health
outcomes,” said Tricia Fringer, President and CEO of OmniSYS. “We are
uniquely positioned to manage this type of program given our 25+ years
of experience interacting with diabetic patients, pharmacies, and
manufacturers.”

On August 27, 2010, CMS published new and modified supplier standards. There are now
30 standards. These went into effect on September 27, 2010. The NSC has received increased
funding and is taking an increasingly proactive role in scrutinizing HME companies to determine
if they are complying with the supplier standards. Because the NSC can revoke or suspend a
supplier number "with a flick of the switch," it is critical that the supplier meet all
supplier standards and be prepared for a surprise site visit by an NSC inspector. This
program will discuss the new and modified supplier standards and the steps that the supplier
should take to comply with the standards. Among other issues, this program will focus on
licensure requirements and W2 employees; facility and operational requirements (e.g., 30 hours
per week/200 square feet); phone operations; and patient contact.

Delivering immunizations is one step in the evolution of pharmacists in becoming more
encompassing healthcare providers, which diversifies revenue, builds patient loyalty building, and
differentiates a pharmacy's healthcare offering. While immunizations have historically created
administrative challenges for pharmacists due to their medical benefit coverage and paper roster
billing requirements, carriers are increasingly allowing pharmacies to electronically bill through
ANSI 837 medical claims. In addition to Medicare Part B DMEPOS reimbursement for flu and pneumonia
vaccinations, commercial insurance payers are now also allowing benefit coverage and reimbursement
for pharmacist administered vaccinations.

OmniSYS, one of the nation's leading processors of electronic medical benefit immunization claims,
published a whitepaper on expansion of immunization administration to pharmacy providers that
outlines important new information regarding commercial payer benefits for immunizations.
