Before I introduce First Lady Starks, I would like to extend my sincere apology. Shandi is a Sweetheart of the Triad, and for whatever technological reason, her interview did not air and she did not get the recognition that she deserved. So on behalf of That Literary Lady and LW Media Group, Shandi, we are truly sorry for our erroneous error. Please forgive us and charge our head and not our hearts.

Now, without further ado, Today’s special sweetheart is First Lady Shandi Starks. Shandi is the mother of four beautiful girls and is the First Lady of World Vision International Christian Center in Greensboro.

Mrs. Starks, after leaving Corporate America, ventured into Arbonne International. Arbonne International sells beauty and wellness products. Shandi has turned her consultation with Arbonne into her own successful health and wellness business. Many know that Mary Kay’s top seller reward is the pink Cadillac—Arbonne International’s top selling reward is a Mercedes Benz. In addition, if success is judged by the car you drive, First Lady Starks is a true success and her Mercedes-Benz GL-450 is a reminder of that.

In addition to being the First Lady of World Vision International Christian Center, Shandi takes her biblical principles and beliefs and applies them to her business. Shandi says, “Now I have the pleasure to teach others to do what I do so that they can live their lives without regret, gain financial freedom, and to do those things that they are truly passionate about.”

That Literary Lady

A native of Colorado, Mrs. Yolanda M. Johnson-Bryant, aka That Literary Lady, currently resides in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, with her husband.

In addition to being a proud grandmother, Yolanda is a published author, freelance writer, novelist, editor, ghostwriter and a literary, marketing and entrepreneurial consultant and advocate. She is the founder and owner of LW Media Group, Bryant Consulting and That Literary Lady.

Yolanda is a columnist for Christian Fiction Online Magazine, Examiner.com, EzineArticles.com and other literary venues. Mrs. Johnson-Bryant is a member of The Nussbaum Entrepreneurial Center, Women of Leadership and Learning (WELL Women) and Toastmasters. She is also a member of Junior Achievement, the Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro, the Volunteer Center of Greensboro and other community organizations.

Cathy Daniels Lee is the Program Coordinator at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Nussbaum Center, located at 2007 Yanceyille Street in Greensboro’s Revolution Mills Studio, is the largest small business incubator in the state of North Carolina.

The center provides valuable resources, mostly free, to small businesses to include workshops and seminars. The Nussbaum Center also provides office space to qualified businesses. In addition to office space, businesses housed in the center receive valuable support.

Cathy has helped launch many community based programs such as the Guilford Education Alliance.
