As fall quickly approaches- here’s a sneak peak at a lovely wedding held back in August. Adam and I, along with our photo friend Audrey, had the great pleasure of working with Tracey and Jeremy. Their wedding was held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with reception following in the Social Hall. Although the weather was quite hot, we managed to get some great photos outdoors as well as inside. The Social Hall foyer allowed for some creative formals using sofas and chairs- giving a variety to the traditional formals. Thanks to everyone for braving the heat to showcase the beautiful courtyard and flowers. We wish you all the best to come. Congrats!

Hello There-

Adventure awaits us once again at a new place for photos- Noccalula Falls. Many may have heard the legendary story of the Indian Princess’s lovers leap from the Falls. This place was not only beautiful and educational, but a perfect photo op.

Adam and I had the great pleasure of meeting with love birds Brooke and Scott a few weeks ago to explore the Noccalula Falls, The New Wedding Chapel and a few fun places inside the park (pioneer village and the old covered bridge) This is definitely a neat place full of multiple areas to explore and create some creative photos. The textures from the poineer viallge give a great rustic feel and the natural park setting gives a great nature look to the photos as well. Perfect props for a very nice set.

Missy and Cody were recently married, and I’m so pleased so share some photos of their special day! I think the photos speak for themselves… Missy was a beautiful bride, Cody was a handsome groom, Grandview on Lookout Mountain in Tennessee was such a perfect location and the day was amazing!

Wow!! What a beautiful wedding! The vibrant colors really show through in making some lovely photos. Adam and I had a great time working with Brooke and Jody at the Jemison Mansion in Tuscaloosa. This historic place is filled with charm and beauty and makes some wonderful backdrops for photos. Although the weather was pretty hot, we managed some awesome outdoor photos and a perfect outdoor wedding as well. Brooke is such a beautiful bride and they make such a beautiful couple. Many times we try to limit the amount of sneak peak photos, but there were many great photos, I decided to include extra. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day. We wish you both the best!

Wow, the wedding season is flying by and we have another great story to tell. Adam and I had the great pleasure of capturing Katie and Thomas’s wedding at LINC Point, another hidden gem in Birmingham for weddings. LINC Point is owned by the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation and is truly a unique venue for events and parties. Its great capturing such emotion on one’s wedding day. One of the most memorable moments was watching Thomas dance with his daughter and Katie with her father. I snapped a nice picture and showed it to Katie’s mom and tears rolled down her face as she walked away. Precious moments. We like to capture those too! Enjoy and happiness to you both!

Adam and I had a great time exploring a new place to shoot an engagement session- The Kymulga Grist Mill in Childersberg. I’ve been wanting to shoot somewhere different and Sheena wanted something alittle different too, so we decided upon trying out this place. It had so many unique areas from the railroad tracks , the grist mill, covered bridge and older buildings. We took our sweet time and enjoyed alittle over 2 hours exploring this new territory, and yes kitty cat joined in too. Thanks for a great session and congrats on your engagement! We look forward to working with you both next year!!

This is Will, and I’ve been photographing him for a few years now. It’s absolutely amazing to see how this once little baby boy has grown up into a pint-size man! I can only imagine that he’s going to get even more handsome as he keeps growing up.

Will is everything a sweet little boy should be, happy birthday again! (Thank you also to Will’s mom, who ROCKS!) I had such a great time with this session, and can’t wait to see Will again in the future for the next one.

Jessica is one of the most awesome two-year-olds I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. She is incredibly wise beyond her years and was such a joy to shoot and hang out with.

Doesnt’ Jessi have the sweetest little face and some of the cutest looks you’ve ever seen?! Thanks to her mama Holly for sharing this little gem of a girl with me. I hope we can shoot together again soon!
