One Bella Design and The Bakery Boutique are finalizing our plans for our trip to Vegas mid-September. We are excited for the opportunity to listen to the Best of the Best in the Business. 3 full days packed with great speakers in the wedding industry.

We are also in the process of submitting our work to the 1st The Knot Advie Awards. I don't have much time to submit for the contest but it will be well worth the rush because the Grand Prize is a $10,000 Ad Package... I'll take it! Pick me, Pick me! Wish me luck.

Couture Wedding Invitations from DOC-MILO

We are thrilled to be announcing the new line of fabulous couture wedding invitations from our friend Sarah at DOC-MILO. We are patiently waiting for our samples to arrive but we couldn't wait any longer to show them off to you. Here is the Charleston Collection. A beautiful yellow and black damask style wedding invitation with coordinating pieces.

The invitations and menu cards are 5"x 7". The response and enclosure cards are 3.5" x 5" and the folded notes are 4.25" x 5.5". Ceremony programs are 4.25" x 11". Please call One Bella Design at 401.305.2501 for more details on ordering.

We Did It! Best Custom Stationery 2010

Last night was a great night! I had attended the party last year as a guest and this year as a winner - the winner of what category I had no idea until about 7:30 last night. I had asked my cousin (who delivered the cupcakes for the event earlier in the day) to see if there were any magazines lying around - wanted to see if I could get a sneak peak! No such luck! So I had to wait until after the V.I.P winner's party (and a couple of wonderful cocktails later). When I finally was able to get my hands on a magazine I scrambled to see what category - much to my surprise - BEST CUSTOM STATIONERY, 2010 RI MONTHLY's EDITORS' PICK! YEAH ME!! Page 65 - first page of the shopping section! What an honor and so very grateful!!

We just got back from the Block Island Wedding Show and are excited about the 2011 Bridal Season. We met quite a few vendors on the island and excited to work with them in the future. We also met many brides from Connecticut, New York and Boston. Where were you RI Brides? :) We just wanted to share a couple pictures from the show. ... just one of our new vendors we met at the NSS 2010. Although I have been following Timeless Paper for quite some time now I finally had the opportunity to meet the designer this year at the National Stationery Show in NYC. I fell in love with the design of their booth and excited to offer their products as a beautiful option for our brides.

At Timeless Paper handmade embellishments are all crafted from cut paper. Beautiful designs, in a variety of shapes, for that little something special you've been craving for your special wedding day or party. Place cards, tent cards, programs and menu cards in ecru or white paper stock are available in over 20 designs. All you need to do is send us your guest list and menus and we create this beautiful accent to your special day.

Handcrafted menu cards are printed on cream or white card stock and accented with custom colored dots for a whimsical statement.

Custom designs -If you have an idea for a new design, or a customization of one of Timeless Papers existing designs, they would be happy to work with you to create exactly the product you envision. A $100 design fee will start the design process. After you order, they will send you a photograph proof within a week. If you like it, you can place an order for the quantity of the custom design that you need.

Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York! Well it is that time of year again - the National Stationery Show in NYC. For 2 days (maybe 3, if my feet allow) and with the knowledge that comfort is key, I will excitedly walk through many, many aisles browsing new designs for One Bella Design and Social Grace Paperie. It is for sure overwhelming but I am ready with pen, paper and my personalized clipboard from Dabney Lee at Home Collection.

On the top of my list is: well, I don't really have a list because to tell you the truth the way I work is when I see something I will know its for me - and my customers of course. I also look forward to the creative setup of the booths and daydreaming about the day when I can complete my own line (it's all in my head at the moment) and debut it here in NYC!

So let's hear it - One hand in the air for the big city, Street lights, big dreams, all lookin' pretty, No place in the world that could compare, Put your lighters in the air, Everybody say "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah".
