Russia's t.A.T.u. released their first debut English album 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane in 2002. The first single from the album All The Things She Said is their only single to chart within the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 10 charts. It peaked at #20 on the Hot 100 charts, and it was a top five Dance Club Play hit. Enjoy!

P.S. Although t.A.T.u have portrayed themselves in videos and in live concerts as lesbians, they confirmed in the 2003 documentary, Anatomy of t.A.T.u, that this was just part of the group's image, and they were not lesbians.

Barry McGuire - Eve of Destruction

Eve of Destruction was a #1 hit for Barry McGuire in 1965. It was his only entry on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song was recorded in one take on a Thursday morning (from words scrawled on crumpled piece of paper) and then he got a call from the record company at 7:00 the next Monday morning, telling him to turn on the radio - his song was playing. The recording includes an "ahhh" where McGuire couldn't even read his own writing. Enjoy!

Mandy Moore has taken a similar path to stardom as Alyssa Milano and Lindsay Lohan. She first became famous because of her music, but her career has really taken off now that she's a movie star. Back in 2000, she released her second album called I Wanna Be With You. The first and only single released from the album was I Wanna Be With You. It remains her only top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It peaked at #24 on the Hot 100. She's still been releasing albums and singles, but none have achieved the success of this one. Enjoy!

Bo Bice was the runner-up to Carrie Underwood on the fourth season of American Idol. While he's recorded a couple of albums and released a number of singles since then, his only top 40 hit so far is Inside Your Heaven, which is an original song that both he and Carrie Underwood performed live on the show. For Bo, it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and #1 on the Billboard Pop 100 charts. I hope he can shed the one-hit wonder label, but I'm not sure since he's really not been heard from much in the last couple of years. We'll see.

Lumidee might be able to shake her one hit wonder status at some point, but for now, her only single to chart within the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts is 2003's Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh), which also featured Busta Rhymes and Fabolous. It went all the way up to #3 on the Hot 100 charts and was a #1 hit in both the Netherlands and Belgium. Enjoy!
