you know why I'm writing on this stupidly named blog again? Well there are a couple of reasons, but namely Matthew Kan's story. Damn, that was one good story. It possibly inspired this passion inside of me to reminisce, rant on about useless topics, like the old days ( ;D remember those good old rants about how expensive milk is these days) , until it becomes mundane and obviously over analysed to the point you want to say shut the f*ck up! I'm so cynical. Maybe I wish I could write blogs like those hipsters out there. Or maybe I'm just bored. B-0-r-e-d. Bored. Bored of early wake morning wake up alarms, high school, basketball, canteen food, maths homework, facebook. Etc. Argh, I wish I was better at writing.

yeah, if you're still reading by this point you must be as bored by life as me. Thanks. Wish we could talk later. BYE. (:D)

exploring

2010-12-03T22:52:00.000-08:00

Walked out of the station and received a pamphlet with an ad for eagles boys pizza in vietnamese. NO ENGLISH ANYWHERE.

Cabramatta. And today the cambodian food I ate was great. Ate blood jelly & intestines in my noodle soup.. so many more peculiar things i find when i explore this suburb. And of course I'll always coming back for the endless alleyways Pho for 7.50 and pork rolls for 3.00.

Getting bored on the train..

they call him Mr Zumbo.

2010-10-25T02:08:00.001-07:00

Strolling down the always serene Darling Street of Balmain on a pleasant, brisk Sunday morning I'm eager for one store to open. I purchase a steaming hot cappuccino from Bertoni, grab The Herald, and wait for the desserts to arrive in the same white van it arrives in everyday, as the pastries always arrive slightly later than opening time of 9AM. The store is tucked away, visible ever so slightly, but by midday it is very notable with its long queues constantly gathering and flowing. My first encounter with these deceptive pastries and macarons in 2007 was when it was a relatively quiet store only filled with locals or desperate foodies & food bloggers but now it is the major attraction of Balmain. Adriano Zumbo. Where would my Sunday mornings be without him?

10:23PM in Sydney, prayer has no time limit.

'I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.' - Galatians 2:20

All it takes to have eternal life in heaven is to have faith in Jesus Christ, who will wash you clean of your sins. That's it. Pray the verse, and in the name of Jesus, your life will be changed forever. Simple as that.

shanghai nights at ashfield

2010-09-19T01:08:00.000-07:00

Unbelievably cheap, and definitely tasty, food is the best for a group of young, freaking hungry asians. We asians love our XIAOLONGBAO (y). New shanghai chinese restaurant is the only one I've tasted out of HEAPS in Ashfield which are all Shanghainese anyway, so I assume their all good. Is 小笼馒头 the right way to spell it?

Ashfield is pretty awesome

crazy times 2000 -2006

2010-09-19T00:56:00.000-07:00

carlingford west seems like an awesome school, though I didn't go to it. Oh well, their fete was pretty dam fun :) fireworks were good. mannnnn $6 for fried rice & kebab sticks? isn't it supposed to be non profit?

Overall it was still fun. Well spent day at chris gong's house failing mouse trap, playing monkey bars at a random park, and at the school doing nothing except eat and talk. Just like those primary school days. Good, and crazy times yearssss ago.

guess who?

2010-09-14T05:27:00.001-07:00

aren't eyes so interesting?

On that note,

- 76 percent (!) of Korean women in their 20s and 30s have undergone plastic surgery. Most of them were epicanthoplasty (i.e. the "double-eyelid surgery".)

- 25 percent of Korean mothers who have daughters between the ages of 12 and 16 suggested plastic surgery to their daughter

Sad.

IM BACK(for now)

2010-08-15T16:21:00.000-07:00

the idea is simple.

1. take your camera everywhere (phones, dslr, point & shoots etc).

2. use any sharing site - facebook, tumblr, blog etc

3. Post one picture everyday for 365 days.

4. Keep pictures simple yet fun. Iono, basically pictures of anything.

5. I'm sure this idea has already been done many many many times but since i want to sound original, START IT NOW. well from August 17th 2010 - August 17th 2011 I will post a picture everyday :)

6. CONTINUE THE TREND.
