Apple has updated its PC and Mac versions of the iTunes desktop all-in-one application for "i" Devices to version 10.2.1 and the major feature is iOS 4.3 compatibility.

Apple announced iOS 4.3 availability and roll-out for March 11 with the occasion of the iPad 2 keynote and the iTunes update is just a confirmation of things to come, as it adds Sync and Home Sharing support for iOS 4.3 powered devices. There's not much more to the update than that, according to the changelog, and even if iOS 4.3 wasn't released yesterday as rumored, you only have to wait two more days at max.

New iValue Lite plan for iPhone 4 from Maxis...

2011-03-07T16:17:00.000+08:00

There's a new iValue Lite plan for iphone introduced by Maxis.Maxis offering as low as RM70 for this plan. The promo available from 4th March 2011 until 30th April 2011 only.

There's RM30 cheaper than iValue 1 plan. But,talktime, data allowed, sms and mms are half less than iValue offered.Furthermore, call rates for iValue Lite plan was 18 cents per minute while iValue 1 plan just 15 cents per minute.Don't forgetten than sms and mms bundled are restricted between Maxis to Maxis only.

Meanwhile, pricing for iPhone 4 also more expensive between RM400-Rm600 different from iValue 1 plan. There's advanced payment that RM250 for 24 months contract while RM150 for 12 months contract.

For me,the new iValue Lite plan won't attracted much of my attention.I rather go for iDiGi 88 that from DiGi.Maxis iValue Lite plan just given for Free 500MB data and additional usage after quota. But DiGi allowed for Free 1GB data with more cheaper monthly fee that RM58 only. Most important thing was DiGi won't charges extra after monthly quota.

I think 500MB data never satisfy the needs of most of the iPhone users. If you still interested with the new iValue Lite plan, just visit Maxis Iphone 4 homepage.

Steve Jobs singing a song for Apple iPad 2...lolx

2011-03-06T18:40:00.000+08:00

After the released of Apple iPad 2,it's seems another great year for Apple and Steve Jobs.

To celebrates it,there's a video that Steve Jobs singing a song to promoted Apple iPad 2 was the new design and better than Motorola Xoom...lolx

Here the lyrics:

It's called the iPad 2
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom
Gotta get me an iPad 2

'Cause you ain't got s***
Without an A5 chip

We started off in 2001 with the iPod
And, uh, we've been at it ever since (At it ever since)
Then in 2007, we added the the iPhone
And in 2010, we added the iPad

It's called the iPad 2
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom
Gotta get me an iPad 2

'Cause you ain't got s***
Without an A5 chip

iPad 2, an amazing product
What can we improve?
Faster, lighter, thinner, cameras, gryoscope
And it comes in two colors
Black and white and we're gonna be shipping white from day one

It's called the iPad 2
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom
Gotta get me an iPad 2

Apple Inc. FTW
'Cause it's a third of an inch thin

It's called the iPad 2
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom
Gotta get me an iPad 2

iPad would be perfect
With 326 pixels per inch

Gotta get me an iPad
It's plain to see
Other tablets are so bad
Honeycomb is not for me

It's called the iPad 2
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom
Gotta get me an iPad 2

'Cause you ain't got s***
Without an A5 chip

It's called the iPad 2 (It's called the iPad)
All new design for you
Better than Motorola Xoom (Better than Motorola)
Gotta get me an iPad 2

When I get my iPad 2
I'll say "thank you, Steve"
Gotta get my iPad 2
Before the iPad 3

10 Questions for Apple iPad 2...

2011-03-06T17:42:00.001+08:00

You have to hand it to Apple CEO Steve Jobs. No matter how ill he may be, his showmanship and stage presence remain undimmed. So much so that it took, as it often does, days for the euphoria of the Apple iPad 2 unveiling to wear off. As that happened, though, I, like others, started to have these little, "Hey, wait a minute…" moments. And from there, the inevitable questions about the latest magical device from Apple started piling up. Here are the ones I've been considering or hearing from others. Fortunately, I think we have answers for virtually all of them.

1. Why No Memory Specs?
Apple's busy touting the iPad 2's huge performance increase (over the original), which comes courtesy of the A5 chip. That makes sense, a dual-core processor should beat the pants off a single core CPU. However, as with any computer, the CPU is only part of the performance story. What's the easiest way to increase system performance? Add memory. We know that the first-generation iPad has 256MB of RAM, but Apple isn't saying how much is in the iPad 2. "More" seems like a reasonable guess.

2. Why No 4G?
Apple's new best friend, Verizon, has a brand-new LTE network, but you won't find 4G on the new Verizon iPhone 4 or the latest-gen iPad. Why is that? Price is one reason: Adding a 4G radio would certainly have increased the price on the top-of-the line iPad 2. Also, Apple pays pretty close attention to the market and early market research indicated that almost 50 percent of potential iPad buyers were picking up a Wi-Fi-only model (Apple does not break out Wi-Fi-only iPad sales figures). I have a 3G-ready iPad, but I've never activated the service (I find ample Wi-Fi access almost everywhere I use my iPad). I suspect that's a common scenario. If a good percentage of iPad owners aren't using 3G—even when they have it—why would Apple jump to introduce 4G?

3. Why No Apple TV Gaming?
There was some conjecture that Apple might try to make Apple TV and the iPad 2 into a de facto console-gaming solution: The games would reside on the iPad, and they would play on your HDTV via Airplay and Apple TV. The iPad, then, would essentially become the game controller. Apple seems committed to keeping iPad gaming firmly on the iPad and it always tries to avoid subpar user experiences. Any iPad game scaled up to play on your HDTV could look bad, plus, Wi-Fi might not support real-time interaction.

4. Why No 7-Inch Tablet?
Have you not been listening? Last year Steve Job's called 7-inch tablets "dead on arrival." Now, the Cupertino leader has been known to change his mind. He famously dismissed Apple making phones only to turn around and deliver the groundbreaking iPhone. Even so, 7-inch tablets have not set the world on fire. Apple will gladly point those who want a smaller iPad to the iPhone or iPod touch.

5. Why No Flash Support?
Really? Did anyone think Steve Jobs was going to change his mind on this? Apple reportedly believes Flash support would cut iPad battery life from 10 hours down to 1.5. That's unlikely, but note how proud Jobs was that the iPad 2 has gotten more powerful without sacrificing a lick of battery life. He's right about one thing: When it comes to mobile devices, nothing is more precious than long battery life.

6. Why No Display-Resolution Boost?
I really thought Apple would go above 1,024 by 768 to at least 1,280 by 1,024. But screen resolution and perception are somewhat fungible. Some screens simply look better than others, and with the relatively small screen size of most tablets, including the original iPad, iPad 2, and Motorola Xoom, telling the difference between HD imagery and average screen resolutions can be difficult. You don't, for instance, realize how good the iPhone 4's Retina display really is until you hold it up next to another similarly sized phone. Plus, while the HD-ready Xoom has a 1280-by-800 screen resolution, the pixels-per-inch comparison between the iPad 2 and the Xoom puts the screen image quality somewhat closer: The Xoom is approximately 149ppi and the iPad 2 is 132ppi. Again, it goes back to perception. If your apps, movies, and photos look good enough to you on your iPad, then perhaps you don't need a higher-res screen. Two other, fairly obvious reasons: Higher resolution would definitely have an impact on battery life, and keeping the same screen resolution means no upscaling for existing iPad apps.

7. Why Can't the iPad 2 Be a Phone?
The iPad 2 has more power and more carriers than its predecessor, yet it still can't act as a phone—not at least without third-party application assistance. How easy would it be for Apple to add the phone features (voice plan, virtual keypad, voice dialing, etc.)? Once again, Apple has a phone and they want you to buy it if you plan on making calls. The iPad is not a device you should be holding up to your ear. Obviously, if the iPad 2 works with a Bluetooth headset then you don't have to hold it against your head. As I see it, Apple's strategy is to convince consumers that the iPhone, iPad, MacBooks, and Macs are all very distinct devices, each with their own skill set and purpose. Turning the iPad into a phone would muddy the waters, confuse consumers, and possibly eat into iPhone sales.

8. Why Didn't We Get a 128GB Model?
Going from 64GB to 128GB of flash memory might have added another $100 to the price of the high-end iPad 2. Apple seems determined to keep its pricing strata the same as it was for the first-gen iPad. Also, I've heard from some iPad users that they have trouble filling up their 64GB first-gen iPads. I guess that's a good problem to have.

9. Why No SD Card Slot or USB Ports?
It's likely because the iPad 2's new cameras mean you can snap and store photos and videos on the tablet and you don't need to collect them off your camera's memory card. Plus, with iOS 4.3's new home-sharing capabilities, you may find it easier to grab what you need directly from your PC. The other reason may be that once Apple committed to the thinner design and radically tapered edges, an SD card slot simply wouldn't have fit. Same goes for USB ports. And if you want a super-thin Apple device with USB, go buy a MacBook Air.

10. Can the Smart Cover Really Clean the iPad 2's Screen?
I'll be honest, I prefer a full cover for my iPad, but that magnetic Smart Cover, which will only work with the iPad 2, is pretty cool, and Steve Jobs said it'll even clean the screen when you open it. Wait a minute. It'll do what? I have a little trouble believing that claim, since you usually have to rub the Gen 1 iPad screen vigorously with a cloth to obliterate all the finger smudges. Sorry, there's no way a cover—even a micro-fiber one—can clean simply by folding over the iPad 2's glass face. That just sounds like "magical" thinking to me.

DiGi prepaid *128# info access changed from 1st March 2011 onwards

2011-03-05T18:52:00.001+08:00

Started from 1st March 2011 onwards, menu of DiGi *128# info access had been changed."Reload" option in the main menu of *128# info access will moved into "My Account".Meanwhile,"Change Features" sub menu re-arranged."Help & Language" & "Internet" display prominently under main menu.

What the changes for "My Account" in the main menu."Reload" moved into "My Account" and "Prepaid Registration Info" removed.Furthermore,"Recent Activities" and last reload info moved into "Reload".Lastly,"Balance Notification" and "Change of Call Plan" added.

The changes was available for all the DiGi Prepaid subscribers except DiGi Prepaid Internet *128# info access.

Rates and validity of DiGi Prepaid Internet revised form 1st March 2011 onwards

2011-03-05T18:18:00.000+08:00

For new subscribers activated DiGi Prepaid Internet started from 1st March onwards, there's some changes for the rates and validity.Meanwhile, there's still remain unchanged that RM2 per day for customers activated before 1st March 2011.

The changes for the DiGi Prepaid Internet was no more flat rate as RM2 per day for any denomination and new reload validity based on amount of denomination.

In the new scheme of reload validity, top up RM10 will get 2 days of validity and 10 days reload validity will costs RM30.Besides,reload RM50 will enjoy 25 days unlimited data access and RM100 offered for 100 days validity.

In my opinion,i don't think new reload validity might attract more attention of the consumer. For example, old customer reload RM10 and get 5 days validity. But now,new customer only lasts for 2 days if reload for RM10 as well.

Under new rates and validity, reload RM100 will getting 100 days validity. That's mean only RM1 per day for unlimited net surfing with 384 kpbs download speed. It's even more cheaper than old rates and validity.

Customer who reload smaller amount seem didn't benefit after the revised of DiGi Prepaid Internet rates and validity. In other words, only users able performed higher denomination will enjoy cheaper unlimited data access.

After two year,i'm getting my first Tune Talk Mobile simcard. After inserted my simcard,i found out the signal bars showing Celcom network. At the moment,i realised that Tune Talk Mobile using Celcom network as the network provider. No worries for the weak signal problems facing by some of the mobile operators dues to Celcom was the largest 3G mobile operator in Malaysia :D

I just surprised that the call rates was 16 cents per minute and 5 cents per sms.The call rates was enough competitive even with other postpaid plans which is 10-15 cents per minute. There's super low rate nationwide to any number in anytime.Meanwhile, there's no commitment for the subscribers and no heart attacks while received the bills every month form my expriences using postpaid plan.

For the lite data users, you might like the Tune Talk Mobile Pay-As-You-Use data plan.Only 5 cents per MB enough for Facebook,Twitter and other social networking. How much you use,how much you have to pay.Just that simple...

Free RM100,000 personal accidental insurance coverage underwritten Etiqa for their subscribers. As my limited knowledge, some mobile operator also provided personal insurance services but there's no free lunch :(

For your information,Tune Talk Mobile was the sister company of Air Asia under Tune Group.Every single top up earn the points for the FREE flights and the points won't expired.Just imagine few hundred needed for the Bangkok trip. But now, accumulated 4000 points in your account to have a free flight. The money now can keep in pockets as shopping funds.Tune Group always helped everyone to fly =D

Tune Talk Mobile give customers longer validity. For reload RM30,the validity will be 50 days and 75 days will be given once RM50 reload performed.Sometimes, you will received 10% airtime bonus if reload RM30 and above dues to promotion by Tune Talk Mobile :D

Is there any mobile operator let subscribers change the numbers anytime?Tune Talk did and it's totally FREE.There's so convenience for subscribers who looking for switching new number.

Reloads are easily found out in nationwide.Official partners for Tune Talk Mobile are E-pay,7-11,99 Speedmart and lot more.Furthermore, top up are available at any authorised dealers nationwide. So,no need rushing for reloads as long you have money in the pockets XD

Live chat operating hours 9:00AM to 9:00PM from Monday to Sunday if facing any problems regarding Tune Talk Mobile.Meanwhile,e-mail will be reply within 24 hours. For my own experiences,my problems just solved within one hour and the help teams are efficient.Facebook and Twitter also one of the ways to complain or helps.

Even the PAYU plan was nice. But it's not suitable for heavy data users.Tune Talk Mobile should have some kind of unlimited plan without quota for data usage. In that way, heavy data users will falls in Tune Talk Mobile.Honestly, the PAYU plan will arresting lite data users mind only.

I'm wondering why don't Tune Talk Mobile provided friends and family in few person.Everyone have the few numbers called and sms frequently. How good if all this calls and sms getting in more lower rates.Money even small amounts are important to fight the higher inflation in these days XD

After finish reviewing the Tune Talk Mobile,i'm totally agreed that Tune Talk Mobile was the cheapest mobile services in Malaysia as they mentioned :)
