A strange notion and one that most would instinctively answer no. But the growth of a business is a series of waves and a large wave of business is intense and potentially destructive. Controlled growth is ideal but elusive. So what will you do you do when your marketing brings you all of these new customers?

1) Know that they will come. Its just statistics. If we market you, you will get more leads. So prepare for success.

2) Be willing to say no to some business. Take the right customer for your business. Lead nurturing will do this for you, it aligns you with the right customer base.

3) Charge enough so that you can grow. The number one mistake of small and mid-sized companies is they under value their services.

4) Hire great talent, outsourced or in-house, do not skimp on quality.

Maybe the title should be “Can you have too many of the right customers?” the answer to that would be, maybe, but its a nice problem to have.
