Salman War With Arbaaz

Going against Salman’s wishes is not an idea worth pursuing. The same lessons are being learnt by none other than Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan. According to sources, Salman is miffed with Arbaaz for trying to broker peace between him and SRK. The issue has reached a point where Sallu has told Arbaaz in no uncertain terms to avoid playing such a role.

In the past Arbaaz has been friendly with SRK despite the fact that SRK and Sallu’s chemistry is going through its coldest phase. But, now Salman is keeping a close watch on any attempts that might end his arch rivalry. He is no mood to let go so soon.

Our sources further add, “The fact that Salman does not forgive his enemies has become one of his brand features. It is very difficult for him to go against the same since it is something that defines him. His fresh diktat to Arbaaz has to be seen in that light. Look at what he did to Vivek Oberoi. He is trying to repeat it in case of his cold bond with SRK.”

Rahat Ali Arrested in India

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was recently detained at the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi. The reason behind his detention was that the singer, who was stopped by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at terminal 3, had approximately 1.24 lack US dollars that was undisclosed in addition to Indian and Pakistani currency.

Rahat was detained at the airport around 3.45 pm, till the time of filing of the report, he was with DRI officials. Around 11 pm, DRI was going to begin questioning Khan and his entourage of 14 persons. Khan was to board an Emirates flight to Karachi via Dubai scheduled to take off around 4 pm, when the currency was found in his baggage. Khan was here to perform at an Indo-Pakistan peace initiative.

However, the latest update is that Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has stepped in personally to look into the singer's detention over undeclared foreign currency. Malik even called up the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi and spoke with the envoy, Shahid Malik.

The minister has since asked for details about Rahat's detention at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, in addition to Pakistani High Commissioner to monitor the matter closely.

Note that, Khan has several hit numbers to his credit and had won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer this year for 'Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji' from the movie 'Ishqiya'.

The big question since then has been, who will be signed as the lead actress opposite Aamir Khan. Though a number of names were being tossed around by the media, that Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead in Dhoom: 3.

Katrina, who is currently doing YRF's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, has beaten the other contenders to clinch the role.

Though the rest of the cast, namely Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra remains unchanged, Aamir and Katrina's addition to the cast certainly heats things up. Considering the chemistry between Aamir and Katrina, the duo has put all questions to rest, with their photographic rendition of the classic film Pyaasa that garnered positive response from fans and industry folk alike.

Different sources says that Aamir won't be charging his usual fee for D: 3. Instead, he will have a stake in the profits of the film. To be precise Aamir will have a total of 33% stake in the profits of the film. This will be the first time that YRF has permitted such sharing. However, though this may be a first for the production house, Aamir has cut down his share from the usual 40% that he had for the film 3 Idiots.

When we contacted, Rafiq Gangjee from YRF replied, "The casting for the girls of Dhoom: 3 has not started. Also, YRF does not discuss artist contracts and agreements."

While Aamir's publicist said, "The 33% profit sharing ratio is not true, besides we do not have any profit sharing ratio with YRF as such. While on the remuneration i will not comment."

While Yash Raj Films refrains to comment on this, we can safely bet that with Katrina being signed on for Dhoom: 3, and Aamir adding another shade to the film with his talent, the high octane torque film promises to be more than just fast bikes.

United Six Movie 2011
'United 6' is the story of six girls, living in Bangkok. They are going through a tough phase in their lives. Their dreams have shattered, their aspirations crushed. In this situation, out of frustration and out of anger, they decide to rob a bank. One of the girls, Jia, who was fired from the bank for refusing to sleep with her boss, convinces the others and leads them.
They rent a bakery adjacent to the bank and start digging a tunnel which would lead them to the strong room of the bank. They start digging and soon find that it's not as easy as it seemed like. However, they continue in their mission and one by one, on one pretext or the other, the girls start getting jittery. Jia continues to motivate them but finds it getting more and more difficult with every passing hour. The meekest girl, Maddy, keeps talking negatively and attracts the ire from Jia.
As time flies by, everybody loses their zeal and force Jia to call off the mission as they know that they don't have any mental and physical energy left.
Jia tries hard but is not able to convince the others to pursue the mission. And they decide to call it a quit.
Next morning they get the shock of their life when they see the news on TV that the bank got robbed in the night and there is info that six girls are involved in the mission.
Girls are, now, in a strange situation. They don't have money but the police are after them. The police start approaching them and they start running from one place to the other. They have to reach the jetty where a launch guy would wait for them to help them escape the country. In one night they have to arrange money to pay the launch guy as well as escape the police to safely reach there. In a roller coaster ride throughout the night, they escape the police but lose Maddy on the way. They reach the jetty without any money hoping for some miracle to happen. Will the miracle happen? Will they be able to leave the country?

I-T department raided Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif’s house and offices and discovered some unreported properties in both the actresses’ house. Investigation reveals that Priyanka Chopra possesses nine flats in Mumbai. Apart from her own flat in Mumbai, Piggy Chops owns five flats at Raj Classic in Versova. But the actress has cleverly converted them into two - one comprising of three flats and the other two. She also owns a penthouse and three flats, which she gives out for rent.

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor’s love is not a secret anymore. The duo vehemently denies being in a relationship but daily updates about their love affairs confirms that the couple are together and very much in love. It was revealed that Katrina Kaif was not in her house when I-T officials knocked her door. She was in Ranbir Kapoor’s house. Kat spend the night before I-T raids at Ranbir’s residence. Her car was seen parked at the actor’s garage.

Says a source in Bandra, "Apparently, Ranbir and Katrina have been meeting almost every night at her place after he finishes his workouts at a gym nearby.That night too (the night before the raids on January 23), RK came over a little after 10 pm and spent some time with her."

Dhoom 3 In Cutest Villain

It might come as a surprise to you, but Aamir Khan is all excited to play villain in Dhoom 3. The superstar said Dhoom was a great franchise to work in even though he initially didn’t think he would fit in. “I have recently signed Dhoom 3. I liked the script very much. When I had watched Dhoom, I liked it a lot. I enjoyed the music and the whole attitude. It’s a very fun film. I really liked it. I never thought I would fit in this kind of film,” Aamir told reporters at a press meet here.

Victor Acharya, who wrote Dhoom and Dhoom 2 is the writer-director of “Dhoom 3?. The earlier installments were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and starred Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. “When I heard the story from Victor, I really enjoyed it. Very well-written script, very enjoyable. It’s a great franchise and I am happy to be part of it. I am also looking forward to work with Abhishek and Uday,” Aamir said.

“It’s true that for the first time I’m doing a negative role, an anti-hero in the mainstream film. I liked my role and all the characters are very well-written. Actually, in between I did another negative role in an offbeat film 1947 Earth,” said Aamir.

This is the second time Aamir is working with Yash Raj Films after Fanaa in 2006. “I have worked with Yash Raj and I have a very comfortable relation with them,” he said. The actor said Victor and producer Aditya Chopra are yet to decide the actress opposite him.

Yeh Saali Zindagi Movie 2011
Some bullets kill you, some save your life; sometimes love can kill you and sometimes it can save your life. Arun (Irrfan Khan) has to save Priti (Chitrangda Singh) the woman he loves, but for that he first has to save the man Priti loves Shyam, the future son in law of a powerful Minister. Meanwhile, time is running out for Kuldeep (Arunoday Singh), the young gangster who is on his last job as his wife is threatening to walk out on him completely, and he begins to suspect she is leaving him to go into the arms of another man. The job has gone haywire for it is still unknown to Kuldeep that the Ministers daughter's engagement with Shyam is off and now she doesn't care whether Shyam lives or dies and more importantly neither does the Minister who Kuldeep hoped would pay the ransom! Priti finds herself inextricably caught in this mess and Arun has to save her life. But for that he has to risk everything, and put his own life at stake, he wonders why he should do it at all, if she still loves another man. He's torn, but love knows no reason. Meanwhile Shyam is trying to make deals in captivity, and his goodness only seems superficial and as Kuldeep tries desperately to save his situation, there are dons coming from Bangkok, who have their own plans. The film rides a roller coaster towards a shattering climax, where all the players have to fend for their lives and loves. Who gets the girl, and who gets the money, and who escapes by the skin of his teeth, is now anybody's guess. But hold on, there are still jokers in the pack, and aces up some sleeves.

A few monsoons back, film-makers felt Diwali, Eid and summer vacations were the best period to release their films. Suddenly, crucial dates that coincide with festivals, important events and holidays have become all-important for actors and film-makers. With Aamir Khan hitting gold during the Christmas week [TAARE ZAMEEN PAR, GHAJINI, 3 IDIOTS], Salman Khan back on tracks during the Eid week [WANTED, DABANGG] and Ajay Devgn eyeing the Diwali week [GOLMAAL RETURNS, ALL THE BEST, GOLMAAL 3], the Fridays that coincide with Republic Day, Valentine's Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti and Lohri are also being eyed by one and all.

While producers Farhan Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar have confirmed DON 2 for Christmas [23 December], there's talk that Aamir Khan's Reema Kagti-directed starrer might also make it in the same week, which, in simpler words, means that the two mighty Khans will battle it out at the box-office. However, the news is untrue.

First of all, how can two big-budget films, produced by the same production house [both Aamir and SRK starrers are produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar], release on the same day? "The Aamir starrer is definitely not releasing n Christmas this year. Even though we would complete the shooting at a stretch, we want to devote ample time to post-production and marketing of this film. In fact, the Aamir starrer will only arrive in 2012. Yes, DON 2 is slated for Christmas release this year and it's 200% confirmed," Ritesh informs me.

Hoping to see the mighty clash between the two Khans, should stop speculating henceforth.
