Once upon a time,

There lived a dark nomad who dwelled in the land of the dead. A place of despondency and regret. Where grief could literally eat your heart away.

Well, one day while Mr. Nomad bruted over his thoughts, a phantom emerged from the shadowlands, literally grabbed his heart upon his chest, and went away to wherever it is he came from. Now you must embark on an unforgettable journey to take back what was stolen from you!

This is mostly a point-and-click extravaganza. However, there is a scene where either WASD or the Arrow Keys are requisite to roam about. There are times where literally your soul must strip-off it's outer-garments. But I won't spoil the whole thing for you. The rest is up for you to discover.

As for me, I think the atmosphere is very Gothic and foreboding. With excellent soundtracking to back it up. Difficulty is just right. Though the game is a bit on the short side. Other then that, this fantasy will sure leave you eerily compressed!

Batter-up the hatches! Congress has just decared war! Only of a different kind. One that is unpresedented in all of human history. Which was just bound to happen as our missiles just kept getting...Well you know, bigger.

Our machines has developed a mind of their own. They have about had it with our petty differences and mortal combats. Upon reviewing our history as the human race, all these RC tanks have mobilized an a universal attack on all world powers. It was inevitable. Our weapens would turn against us. However, there was a tanker who thought otherwise.

While the rest only only wanted annilation, RC 24-7 percieved only hope. Although mankind has dcommitted much harm to one another, they've also done much good to the world. But the other RC's would have none of that. they threw 24-7 out of the assembly and banished him from ever returning. And so he had no choice but to warn the nations of a coming onslaught!

For the first time, the Earth became as one dispite their differences. Together they commissioned RC 24-7 as their commander and chief. His main objective was to bring a surprize attack upon their own hidden fortress way out in the Gobe Dessert. But he needs your help. Are you up for the task?

Introducing Awesome Tanks! A first-person shooter brought to you by dinogames! You must barrel through fifteen courses of non-stop shooter action! Your mouse is the trigger to detonate your ammo. Collect as much booty as possible to raise funds for even greater weapens of mass destruction. Just watch your ammo and health meters as afterall, your not invincible.

This game is excellent for those who are looking for rated-G matertial that's not wimpy. You know that old Kiks commercial, "kid tested mother aproved"? Well that about sums it up.

However, a n introductory tutorial to get the touch and feel would have been nice as it takes a bit to get used to. But overall, you will find Awesome Tanks pretty addictive to your enjoyment!

Where Is 2012?

The ball has landed in times square. Champagne bottles have been opened. Everyone had rung in the New Year with quite a bang! All except this one little fella who's lost his way treading through the forest of time.

Yep...One of Santa's little elves has strayed from the fold and is trapped within a space-time continuum. You must help this poor midgit find the new year or else be forever wondering through the coridores of 2011-perpetually reliving what has already been!

There are switches to flip, wreaths to turn, and riddles to solve. Be sure to guide Chris Kringle's little helper to 2012 or else he'll never see Santa again!

Other then a runaway contral gimick, Mateusz Skutnik has created another singature piece! Filled with Matsque sound-effects and homemade artwork!

Christmas is just around the corner and have I got a few stocking-fillers to spare! You see, I am Santa's side-kick and whatever's left behind I smuggle to your attention.

First off, we find a wholesome, cozy, little room-escape by none other then my fellow co-workers. They(Santa's delegates) must find a way out of this deceptive trap before the owner's get home and eat them over a Yuletide feast!

Find a way out and sneak your way home(before Xmas is over)!

Sugar Sugar, The Christmas Special!

aww...what to do when it's raining saccharides? You know, that sweet little crystals you buy at the supermarket? Otherwise known as tooth-decay composites? Well, I've got good news for ya.

The folks who've made Sugar Sugar have just installed a Holiday Edition to get us into the spirit called "The Christmas Special". Basically what you must do is, harness the inflow of sugar falling from the letter R and direct it into the specified cup. How the heck(might you ask) are we to do that? Easy! Just use your mouse to draw lines or pathways towards those containers. Each cup needs 100 grains of sugar. Some require color-coding. Others require more craft to get it right.

The graphics and soundtrack have been updated to insert a more seasonal flair to them. Otherwise expect the same old great sugary animation from Bonte!

First you must collect 30 candy canes scattered all over the house. Then find more clues and connect the dots like you would with any escape flick.

With seasonal background music and decent imagery, I find "Christmas Candy Canes" will surly warm you up to the Holiday Season!

Grow Ornament

Starting today, I will be reviewing quite a few Christmas-themed flash games on my blog.

And fresh out of the net archives comes a 2005 classic "Grow Ornament". A short but sweet point-and-click animation by On of Eyezmaze! Where you must find the right order to arrange the Christmas ornaments upon the tree. The right sequence will unveil a happy ending.

This game certainly does have a jingling medley. The concept is well-thought out. It'll only take you a few secs to complete this charming puzzle on your coffee break.

But don't worry. There's more to come from "Online Game Lounge" in the coming days!

Turkey To Go

I apologize to my readers,

I just realized "Thanksgiving Escape" was already reviewed just last year at this time(must've been the egg nog I had last night).;)

But to make it up to you, here is...

Turkey To Go

An point-and-click arcade extravaganza where you must collect as many turkey feathers as possible. Each course has it's own predetermined quota to meet and gets tougher as you progress. But not to worry as they'll be plenty of corn-on-the-cobs to grant you speed and dexterity.

Watch out! a few morsels might be poisonous. Not to mention that darn pitchfork will go after your rear-end! But otherwise, keep filling-up on those feathers why don'cha!

Although the gameplay is not much. It'll get fairly addicting once you get started. I doubt you'll Get overtly exited about this. But it's worth giving it a shot over those left-overs from Turkey Day!

By the way, Happy Thanksgiving!

*Edit*[My bad. I just did this review last Thanksgiving! So I've added the link to my previous post at the bottom of this one. Must of been the indigestion. Oh well. So to make it up to you, check out Turkey To Go.]

It is a mild Spring morning here in Plymouth. It's 1624 and your trapped within a cottage somewhere deep within the enchanted forest's of this New World. Just three years ago we and the Indians were as one-celebrating the bounty God had given us through many festivities and a bloody huge turkey dinner.

Oh...I can still taste the yams and the corn-on-the-cob! If it wasn't for Alfred's wicked ambitions, we would still be breaking bread this very day. But as of now the Indians are pissed! Though my fellow pilgrims are blissfully unaware, I have been kidnapped by Chief Sanataquset! He has ordered me locked-up within a cabin far from the reaches of what he calls the pale face.

Now you must help me escape this hut and warn the others to urge Governor Alfred to stop his mad coarse and restore peace with the Indians before it is too late!

Up now...Times are wastin'!

I can not remember a thing. Except driving home one late October evening. I could of sworn I saw head lights in front of me. But my recollection is too blurry as of right now.

I must be dreaming or something. How can I go through walls. Wait...Gulp. Is that my coffin? Wait...This can't be happening! Wake up!

So now I'm a ghost? This must be a mistake. I'm too young to die! There's no way this was an accident. I must get to the bottom of this. My peace will not come until I find out who snuffed-out my life prematurely.

The Outsider

:Upon awakening, I find myself laying within a dark gloomy forest and a Gothic castle stenciled in the background. I quickly dust myself off and embark on a quest to find my true self. Upon the billowing shadows of eve, a voice beckons me to intrude the shadowy lair of this spill-tingling dungeon!

I can not recollect a single episode prier to my arousal. Yet a deep sense of guilt and dread presses hard upon my soul. It's almost as if I've committed an unspeakable deed. But I can't be a murderer! Perhaps this is all just a bad dream. I'll soon awaken with a shroud upon my face with a wife and two angels sent to me from above.

And so I fasten myself, determined to seek out my destiny. Not knowing what shall await me. But I have a feeling this will not turn out the way I'd hoped.

Walkthrough

Click the title to begin.
Click the back arrow to step into the cave.
Take the stick lying on the ground to add it to your inventory.
Click the back arrow to return to the forest.
Click the forward arrow to travel to the bridge.
Click the forward arrow again to zoom in to the door puzzle.
To open the door, enter the combination by typing the correct numbers in the three spaces.
We'll call the first digit X, the second Y, and the third Z.
With the hints provided on the left side we know that:
X=2Z
Y is a prime number.
And X+Y+Z=9.
Using the substitution method, that means 2Z+Y+Z=9, or 3Z+Y=9.
The prime numbers lower 9 are 1, 3, 5, and 7.
The only solution for the equation that doesn't end in a fraction is Y=3.
3Z+3=9.
3Z=6.
Z=2
Thus, X=4; Y=3; Z=2
The combination is 4-3-2.
Click the "Check" button to submit your solution
Click the forward arrow to move into the treehouse.
Take the rope on the ground to add it to your inventory.
Click the right arrow to go into the dark room.
Take the cleaver on the table next to the candle.
Use the cleaver on the stick in your inventory.
Click the back arrow to leave the dark room.
Click the forward arrow to go into the library.
Use the sharpened stick in your inventory on the board atop the right bookcase.
Click the back arrow to leave the library.
Use the wooden board from your inventory on the gap in the stairway.
Click the upper arrow twice to ascend the stairs.
Use the stick from your inventory on the lock in the door.
Click the forward arrow to move into the castle.
Click the second box on the left side to reveal a book.
Click the fourth box on the right side to receive the matchbox.
Take the brick at the bottom of the stairs in front of the door.
Attach the brick to the rope in your inventory.
Leave the castle by clicking the back arrow three times, then click the right arrow to return to the dark room.
Use the matchbox from your inventory on the candlestick.
Take the key from the skeleton's hand.
Leave the dark room and climb back up the stairs to return to the castle.
Use the Key from your inventory on the locked door.
Click the forward arrow to travel to the graveyard.
Take the shovel leaning against the right tree.
Leave the graveyard and click the back button 7 times to return to the forest.
Use the shovel from your inventory on the hole in the ground to receive another piece of rope.
Attach the second piece of rope to the combined brick and rope in your inventory.
Return to the graveyard.
Use the tethered brick from your inventory on the gate.
Click the forward arrow to reach the path.
Click the window to look inside the house.

Frankin Friday Smash

Every year after the Columbus Day Weekend I slice up a few ghoulish orderves every Friday. Leading up to Halloween. These tasty morsels should keep you steady till the mother of all nights. But in the meantime, we shall dub these times as Frankin Friday!

#1 Halloween Smash

First off the kitchen counter comes a Match Three candy corn haven! The rules are all identical. Arrange three items(or more) in a row to eliminate them and inflate your score.

With a little hip music in the background, I'm sure you won't mind your first treat for the evening. Play Halloween Smash!

#2 Castlevania Flash

But this eerie little snack is loosely based upon the videogame Castlevania. Again the rules haven't changed. Within a 2D platforming environment, you must whip these hooligans back to necros where they belong! Play Castlevania flash!

#3 Trick For Treats

Now gorge your little stomachs on this! It is Halloween Night. The Trick-Or-Treaters are making their rounds. But this year you'll be stealing candy from a baby!

You've all heard of Mr. Snoozleburg right? well, this fella has is treading in murkier waters. How bout a witch's lair!

Introducing A Sleepwalker's Troubles-Brunhida's Hut! A Halloweensque point-and-click flash game brought to you by Aljosa Palor.

Apparently, this kid's sleepwalking spells has landed him within the snares of an old hags hideout tonight. I wouldn't even doubt it if Brunhilda orchestrated this whole thing herself. But whatever the cause, he sure has in a bit of a ruckus! Any minute and she should be home from broom-sticking the skies.

Won't you help this fool escape unscathed? Go and search for magical trinkets. Place them in your inventory to combine them to create more tools. Read incantations, stir up a cauldron, make a potion, do whatever you need to accomplish to get out of this forsaken hut!

For those in the Halloween spirit, do I have a treat for you! With festive background music and a fun-filled engaging atmosphere, Brunhilda's Hut will surely get you into the spirit of Halloween. My only objection would be a suggestive word used at the introduction of the game. Otherwise, very charming! Not to easy, not too hard.

Abroy-Georg the Ghost

All you could remember is that stupid trip to the Smokey Mountains. While their, our friends dared you to swallow two cups of rat poisoning. And so reluctantly you did! Everything got dark and echoy.

Upon arising, you discover your trapped within a transparent vortex. What do you know? Your a disembodied spirit!

Grab a hold of that mouse and click your way to freedom. Apparently, the grim reaper loves to hoard souls-imprisoning them for his own selfish ends. There are many items laying around to discover. Use your noodle to find a way to escape from the grasp of this sadistic spook.

The game was fairly thought out but too simple and short. The music is a fair match accompanied by gourmaid graphics. But not addictive to come back for second helpings. I give this 3.5 stars!

Dark Autumn Evening

It's about that time of year again...Well almost anyway. And I don't know about you but I ain't waiten'. As some of you well know, this is when I begin getting into the spooky spirit! With plenty of games to get you into the ghoulish spirit.

And fresh out of the Halloween assembly line comes "Dark Autumn Evening". A point-and-click escape-the-room flick where you are trapped in a mysterious dwelling place. Not knowing where you are or why you have been abducted. Apparently a ghost has locked you up in a parallel universe-leaving plenty of puzzles and riddles to solve and unearth.

You know the drill. Get that old trusty mouse of yours and collect those items. Store them in your inventory. As always, you must connect the dots until all these whispering riddles have been solved. But once you find the missing pieces to this cosmic puzzle, I wonder who'll you'll bump into on your way back to reality?

Prepare to be greeted with an eerie atmosphere as you decipher the code in this dark foreboding flick. Accompanied by cryptic music and fairly well-thought out graphics, I'm sure you'll agree this game sure does give off some Halloween fever!

Bob The Robber

Just how does a typical flick go? A man endeavors to steal some dough. First succeeds and then ends up mucked by the good guys. In the end justice always triumphed over banditry.

But not so with Bob! For he has Pleonexia written all over him! From the moment of exiting his mothers womb, he aspired to hoarding filthy lucre-evilly conniving strategic plans to plunder the halls of Capital Hill.

You must fill Bob's shoes as he aims to be America's most wanted. But first we must start from ground zero. Progressing from your next door neighbors to to a Las Vegas casino. Each habitat contains secure treasure. There are codes to break, locks to break, and extra dough to accumulate along the way.

Be on the lookout for guards and surveillance. Weather they be in the form of dogs, mutants, or sumptuous capitalists. If they catch you 5 times, you'll be thrown in jail. Your best bet is to become one with the shadow.

Although it can be a bit challenging, I find Bob the Robber rather engaging. From the charming background tunes to 2D graphics, this will keep you busy over that cup of coffer during break.

Well, Ninjadoodle has treated us again to another round of Clickplay action and fun. This time dubbed "Rainbow(don't ask me why, I don't make these games). As always, you must barrel your way through a myriad of levels, desperately seeking for that play button. You will need to dabble with a few riddles and hefty puzzlers before each stage can relinquish that button.

Don't be surprised to feel a little flustered from time to time(though a walkthrough might help). But regardless, with such Jazzy tunes and gourmaid imagery, Ninjadoodle has served up a cool late Summer refreshment-air conditioning n' all!

Puzzles are amazing things. Ever since their inception by John Spilsbury, no one could get enough of 'em. In order to bait more customers, the newspaper soon enough engrafted this art of logic into their subscription bases. The magazine caught on right away.

Just what is it that fascinates us with these problem-solving gimmicks? Is it our sense of accomplishment. Or could have to do with our ego's? Or just maybe the satisfaction of figuring out the world about us?

Whatever the reason "Not To Scale" is sure to satiate each motive! Just sit back and let the music move those brain cells to unscramble each scene set before you. And do trust me when I say it gets tough after awhile! Just hang in there, the solution could be right under your nose!

With some life-like graphics and an outstanding orchestra, this pixilated work of art is sure to not only woo you but make you think(perhaps to over-tax you)! Despite it's challenging premise, I'm sure everyone will eventually come around to it!

Here there is no worry. So long as love compells and seizes your soul, anything is possible! Even the most bold and daring of tasks.

&nbap;Just use your mouse to unfould the story-page by page. Click to see what happens. But I must warn ya. Some ends are just not meant to be. Rather then getting swallowed by an Octapus, read the signs and follow the clues. They'll take you where you need to be.

What can I say. The outcome(narration) was terrific. The graphics were just what you'd expect. With a very soothing soundtrack that embellishes a tale in it's own right. Clearly, Beep and Blue will not disappoint by any means!

100th!

Who ever thought helium could be so tough? Beats me. Especially as you press X on a sore thumb!

Well, in this little thing called 100th, you must stick with this ballon-fellow like two peas in a pod. A simple and pretty straight-forward platformer develeped by Doeqen.

Using the arrow Keys to hop and maneuver about, you must trec your way though logs and obstacles before facing your pain-in-the-neck nemesis.

It indeed was a thorn-in-the-flesh jumping from platform to platform while keeping a strain on that old X. But aside from that, 100th is build upon a simple concept clothed in a retrospective envirnment! Personally, I'd give this a 3.9
