Next it is important to use H1 tags at the beginning of the website, making sure you use the keyword(s) and key phrases you want to be ranked for in the H1 tag.

One other very important tag is the Image “alt” tag or Image “title” tag. These tags are generally used to describe the image on the website it is referring to and goes back to the early days of the internet. Most all people were on dialup and very slow dialup at that, so the option to turn off graphics was done by a lot of web browsers. The “alt” tag and “title” tags were there to describe the image to them. Since the search engine spider will read these tags, it is good to use your keyword(s) and key phrases in these tags. Again, using the ones you are trying to get your site ranked for. But, be careful not to overdo it. It may over optimize your site and it will actually hurt your results. It is not advisable to stuff a bunch of keywords into image and title tags , simply use a few keywords or a key phrase.
