A rather strange bug has been reported for the Samsung Galaxy S, one that might be quite dangerous. It seems that under some circumstances when the Samsung Galaxy S is connected to a PC via the Kies utility, it may cause an auto-reset of the device, something which is obviously undesirable. This happens when the product contains files with an extension that is longer than 16 characters. Deleting these files will prevent the problem from happening, but it’s scary to hear of the possibility anyways. As you can see, even a fantastic phone like the Samsung Galaxy S has its flaws, and although the deletion of your files isn’t the best solution, currently it’s the only one that works. We’re still waiting for Samsung’s response on this issue and we’re hoping that we’ll get an official solution soon.

Nowadays we see a lot of ergonomical devices such as adjustable mouse and keyboards but how efficient are they? Although they look interesting enough they might not provide all the features that you need and still cost twice as much as a normal one.

As you know, long usage of mouse can sometimes cause a serious injury if you’re not using it right therefore company named Contour Design released the brand new mouse alternative that is called RollerMouse Free.

In our opinion RollerMouse Free looks like keyboard extension and it is placed bellow your keyboard. Interesting thing is that this device can work both with your standard PC or a laptop and all that you need is a single USB port for connection. Besides that, this device is fully compatible with both Mac and PC and it uses Plug and Play method. In order to save you from injury RollerMouse Free allows you to use both hands. Using this device is relatively simple and all that you have to do is to roll the roller bar that will move up, down, left, right and move your cursor that way. Clicking is easy and in order to click you just need to tap the roller bar or you can use one of the seven additional buttons around it.

This is an interesting device, but we’re not sure that it will be able to replace computer mouse entirely. Anyway, if you want to try this device price is $220 a pop.

Diabetes mellitus which is generally referred as diabetes – is a very common disease all over the world. In the Type 2 case, there are several symptoms which are withnessed. These are :

Polydipsia – The patient feels thirsty because the concentration of glucose increases and the brain dilutes it.

Increased fatigue – To produce energy the body breaks down the fats and muscle tissues which leads to loss of weight.

Weight flactuation – which is mainly caused due to the metabolism of fats and proteins.

Lack of concentration.

Poor wound healing – WBC are responsible for body immune system, they do not perform normally due to the high blood sugar.

Blurred vision.

Dryness of skin

Sweet smelly urine.

Interface

Samsung has added TouchWiz skin on top of Android 2.1 (eclair). It looks good and is easy to use. But theres this app which takes the phones interface to a different level – LauncherPro. One of my favs, and a must install for anyone with an android phone.

Display

This has to be the phones biggest USP. Things look awesome on the Galaxy S ! Super AMOLED FTW! Has great viewing angles as well.

Camera

No led flash for camera is a big negative. Nice HD video recording. Image quality -

Performance

One thing which really stands out is the overall speed of the phone. Its super fast! Just play Asphalt 5 for sometime and you will know what you can do with this phone. The only time you feel a lag is when you have 15-20 apps running in the background. I use Advanced Task Killer [app] to keep a check on the number of running apps.

Apps

Android marketplace has a huge number of free apps. Unfortunately you dont have access to the paid market if you are in India. Thats sad, but Google is working on it. Apps are easy to download and install. You can also download apps just by scanning the QRCodes.

A QR Code (“Quick Response”) is a 2D barcode that can store much more information than a standard UPC. Inside a QR Code you can find text, hyperlinks, contact information, geo location, and more. They are capable of storing up to 250 characters.

Size / Form

Even though it has a plastic body it doesnt feel cheap. Theres no clicky sound whichever way you hold it. Light. Super thin. A lot of my friends say it looks like the iphone. No idea if thats good or bad.

Battery

Battery life is really great for a phone with such huge display screen. Full charge takes around 90 mins, and lasts me all day with moderate-heavy usage. Obviously i have optimised it to last longer.

Extremely happy with my new purchase. Android 2.2 should be coming early Q4 [october]. Cant wait!

Here are 7 basic things you need to keep in mind:

1. Opt for LCD monitors instead of CRT.

2. Make sure your monitor is clean.

3. Follow the 20/20/20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look away from your monitor for 20 seconds, at something at least 20 feet away.

4. Try your best to put your monitor in a position that gives you as little glare as possible.

5. Tilt your monitor slightly upward. This will make it easy for you to see the entire screen more clearly.

6. The space between where you sit comfortably and where your monitor is located should be about arms length.

7. When you are sitting comfortably you should be looking directly at the top of your monitor. Specifically about two or three inches below the top of the screen.

Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kites’ and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ totally dissappointed the audience and the critics as well. The distribution rights

of both the films were given to Reliance Big Pictures. The company has lost an amount of Rs 100 crore, according to sources. Its a

huge loss of the company, previously with Kites they lost about Rs 60 crore and now it has become really difficult for Reliance Big

Pictures to make more than Rs 50 crore from Raavan. So all total its a loss of Rs 100 crore.

Reliance Big Pictures already sold the satellite rights of Kites to Colors for Rs 40 crore, and the movie will be aired on the last week of

this month.
