Sigue siendo un coche de capricho, no se espera un súper ventas como fue el primer Beetle. En Only Performance pensamos que la mejor opción es el modelo de acceso de gasolina 1.2 TSI que ofrece 105 cv de potencia. Una mecánica muy bien diseñada con un consumo muy contenido. Si buscas un vehículo deportivo, creemos que hay mejores opciones incluso dentro de la misma marca Volkswagen.&lt;br /&gt;

Auguramos unas buenas ventas de este vehículo si Volkwagen se esfuerza en promocionarlo dentro del nicho de mercado apropiado.&lt;br /&gt;

La cifra de 2,9 segundos está bien, ¿no?&lt;br /&gt;

Rodeado de utilitarios y coches de segmentos medios. Camuflado entre los demás. Sus líneas suaves e intemporales, ayudadas por un discreto color gris ceniza, le hacían pasar desapercibido ante los ojos de la mayoría. Pero los apasionados de las obras de arte ruidosas y humeantes pronto se dan cuenta de la joya que tienen ante sus ojos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hablo de todo un Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. Tras el lanzamiento del DB7 Coupé, el público pidió algo más…animado, pues este último cuenta con un motor de 6 cilindros en línea. Así, el DB7 Vantage posee todo un V12 atmosférico de 420 cv y un par de 540 Nm. Cifras redondas para dejarte pegado al asiento y asombrarte de lo que este madurito puede hacer. Todo ello sin perder la elegancia característica de un caballero inglés.&lt;br /&gt;

El súper deportivo de la marca de los cuatro aros lleva bastante tiempo en el mercado. Y aunque no se puede comparar el ciclo comercial de este tipo de vehículos con el de coches con mucha mayor demanda, tarde o temprano tiene que llegar la nueva generación. Es decir, conseguir satisfacer todas las necesidades de alguien que se compra un coche. Y para ello a veces hay que unir deportividad, confort y espacio para la familia. Todo un ejercicio de diseño, donde las líneas afiladas y agresivas se tienen que conjugar con formas y soluciones constructivas que aumenten el espacio disponible en el habitáculo así como la facilidad de acceso al interior del vehículo. Hoy os traigo un diseño que intenta realizar tal malabarismo. Creo que a la vista salta el motivo de este comentario. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Pensaba yo que a España no llegaban novedades del mundo del automóvil como la que hoy os traigo, y sobre todo si han sido concebidas en otro continente. Pero afortunadamente estaba equivocado. Si bien es verdad que esta unidad del Tesla Roadster llevaba publicidad adherida en su carrocería, por lo que cabe pensar que ha sido adquirida por una empresa con fines promocionales. O por una empresa publicitaria como soporte de publicidad móvil. Posee un motor trifásico de 2 pares de polos y 185kW (248 cv) de potencia, con un par de 270Nm entregados desde 0 rpm hasta las 13000 rpm de régimen máximo de motor. Con estas especificaciones, el Roadster puede acelerar de 0 a 100 km/h en 4s y una velocidad máxima de 200 km/h. A todo esto hay que añadir que la característica más llamativa de este modelo es que es completamente silencioso, al no existir combustión alguna. Seguramente sea lo que más llame la atención a la hora de ponerse a los mandos de este fantástico vehículo, oír únicamente la rodadura de los neumáticos en el asfalto. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Todo esto es muy bonito pero, en la vida real, ¿qué autonomía tiene? ¿cómo se realiza la recarga de las baterías? Pues la autonomía declarada es de 360 km en ciclo combinado (ciudad y carretera), la cual se consigue con un ciclo de carga completa de las baterías de litio de 3 horas.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Para los más puristas como un servidor, puede que el futuro que anticipa este coche no sea el más alentador ni excitante, pero hay que reconocer que conseguir esa aceleración con emisiones nulas de CO&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt; (del tanque a la rueda) y con un gasto en el repostaje “irrisorio”, es muy tentador. Y después de navegar y navegar buscando la inspiración, parece que ha salido algo decente, digno para mostrároslo. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Es un conjunto compacto, de líneas suaves y redondeadas, pero con detalles que le dan un toque de agresividad. Este punto es importante en estos días en que los automóviles que salen al mercado intentan combinar confort, practicidad, eficiencia y deportividad. A las ya conocidas “Design” y “Performance” se les une “Car of the day”. En ella pondré modelos que haya visto por la calle y haya fotografiado para compartirlos con vosotros.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Y para empezar con este nuevo apartado, qué mejor forma que con un clásico: El Porsche 911 Carrera 993&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="992" border="0" alt="992" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_oT_sul9UOic/TXffpUB3e_I/AAAAAAAAAOo/lXeONKv8Sdk/992%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="1028" height="304" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Mantuvo la famosa configuración 6 cilindros boxer de 3,6L de cilindrada. La primera versión, que empezó a comercializarse en 1993, entregaba 272 PS de potencia. Una revisión del motor antes del fin de de la vida comercial de este modelo consiguió exprimir al bloque 286 PS. El 993 fue la última edición de la saga 911 Carrera con refrigeración por aire. En las que siguieron ya se refrigeraba el motor mediante agua. Pero fue el primero en incorporar un sistema de admisión de longitud variable, denominado Varioram. Al 911 Carrera le acompañaron las versiones Targa y Turbo y RS. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;En cuanto al diseño, se observa un gran trabajo en la aerodinámica pues las líneas son mucho más suaves que en la versión anterior (964), dándole a este modelo una mayor armonía y continuidad. No se puede negar la belleza de sus formas. Y a 90 km/h, pues mucho menos. Es plausible también que el Gobierno quiera hacernos ver que sería buen momento para concentrarnos más en una conducción eficiente estando como está de convulso el mundo árabe (exportadores de la gran mayoría de crudo que consumimos en occidente).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pero la forma de hacérnoslo ver, no es para nada acorde con nuestra (supuesta) posición en el mundo. Lo que el Gobierno ha hecho es PROHIBIR circular a más de 110 km/h por “nuestro bien”. Bajo mi punto de vista, ya somos mayorcitos para saber si algo nos conviene o no nos conviene. Es nuestro problema si conducimos de manera ineficiente. Nuestro vehículo nos pedirá ir más a menudo a la gasolinera, aun estando la gasolina a 5 €/L. Y eso lo notarán nuestro bolsillos. Por tanto, yo abogo porque sea el propio mercado y nuestra economía personal los que nos digan a qué velocidad debemos circular (dentro de los límites legales por cuestión de seguridad), no un ente paternal y tutor para unas cosas sí y para otras no.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Si de verdad nuestro Gobierno se preocupara por nosotros, deberían prohibir fumar, en vez de gravarlo con más impuestos. Deberían cambiar el código penal para evitar penas como en este&lt;a href="http://www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2011/02/24/valencia/1298583516.html" target="_blank"&gt;caso&lt;/a&gt;. Deberían invertirse los 250.000 € que costará colocar las pegatinas en las señales, en concienciación sobre eficiencia energética… Pero no se debería recurrir a lo fácil, prohibir. Una época en que siento que se van a producir cambios en mi vida y quiero hacer todo lo posible para que éstos me lleven hacia donde yo quiero.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Bueno, no me enrollo más con temas trascendentales y me centro en el nuevo diseño que os traigo. Creo que he avanzado bastante con respecto a los primeros bocetos que me atrevía a compartir públicamente con vosotros. La verdad es que me encuentro moderadamente satisfecho con él. He conseguido plasmar una perspectiva difícil sin demasiados trazos de apoyo. He aprendido un par de cosilla para futuros trabajos sobre esta vista, creo que seguiré practicando porque la posición del coche es mas reveladora que otras perspectivas más simples. Y hay que reconocer que los de Top Gear, aparte de las tonterías de Clarkson, hacen unos vídeos buenísimos. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;La pregunta que cabe ahora es qué harán para suceder de esta maravilla. Creo que he conseguido plasmar una idea global, un concepto completo y con cierto grado de detalles.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Líneas perfiladas y seguras, cierto toque de sombras que son las que de verdad revelan los volúmenes.
