Since relocating back on the East, snowboarding has been somewhat of a challenge. From a lack of snow one year to severely injuring my ankles the next - my dreams of making an East Coast backcountry video were dashed. However, I was able to spend a lot more time splitboarding and I got together a small crew of backcountry riders, who soon split from convention and converted to the splitboarding ranks. Going through my Gopro footage, there was enough footy to put something fun together. Sure, it was not the bangers I wanted, but maybe that is what the East Coast is about - riding hard no matter what.
