One thing you should never forget. Take care of your business and money is not everything! The most important thing is you health. Only if you are healthy and strong you can make a good business and money – and you should also have the time to spend your money for thinks you like and you want. One big enemy of a hard working businessman with a lot of stress is the evil called heart attack. And I´m sure everybody with a lot of stress and work in his live is thinking about it and is afraid of a possible heart attack. But you can do a lot against it. Now is Firefox 3.0.1 available for Windows, Mac, and Linux as a free download from the Mozilla Firefox site. The company said that current users of Firefox 3 will be prompted to upgrade within the next 48 hours, but that they could also receive it on demand from the program's Help menu, by choosing the "Check for updates" option.

The 2nd. quarter from Intel is better than many people thought. For the three months ended June 26, Intel earned $1.8 billion, or 27 cents per share, compared with $896 million, or 14 cents per share, in the same period last year. Sales increased 18 percent to $8.05 billion.Analysts were expecting Intel to earn 27 cents per share on sales of $8.1 billion, according to a survey by Thomson First Call. In early June, the company said revenues would be between $8 billion and $8.2 billion.

Seagate is now the first manufacturer of 3,5 inch hard discs who announced to bring out a 1.5 Terabyte (1.500 Gigabyte) hard disk in the 3^rd quarter 2008. At the moment the biggest HDD is 1.0 Terabyte (1.000 Gigabyte).
Modern magnetically discs with the size of 3.5 inch have a capacity of 250 or 320 Gbyte. The new model from Seagate with the name Barracuda 7200.11 will have 4 discs with a capacity of 375 Gbyte.

You can believe it – you (OEM´s) can still buy Windows 3.11 leniences from Microsoft for some special Computers or other products with a old or week CPU. But only till to the November 1^st

after than all have to switch to an other solution for their products or they have to buy a lot of leniences for the future.

Windows 3.11 started in the end of 1993 and it was the first product of Microsoft witch supports the TCP/IP protocol. The advantage of MS Windows 3.11 to the newer versions is it needs much less resources than the newer one. So until now Windows 3.11 works in many small computers, cash registries or similar machines.

And if you still have some MS-Dos X.XX and Windows 3.11 Disk you can try it out. I did that about 3 Month ago and it works! What a speed.......

Now Pioneer makes it true and the 400GB Blu-Ray-Disc is here! But we know 1 layer of a Blu-Ray-Disc has 25GB so it needs 16 layers to reach the incredible size of 400GB. At the moment only the 25GB and the dual-layer with 50GB discs are available for retail.

So lets see how long does it takes to get some bigger one. But the question is how much will cost a 16-layer disc?

Mini-Notebooks get very popular and Asus, with its Eee PC, now get really hard competition from Acer. The Aspire One is now shipped out. The prising will be about $400. Whit that price even many Sub-Notebooks will get in trouble with their prices.
It is also a perfect PC for starters – light with only 2 pounds and measuring 9.9 by 6.7 by 1.14 inches. Using Intel´s 1.6GHz Atom CPU is fast enough for the basic using and it also save a lot of energy too.
And the Aspire One is fairly well constructed for a beta unit. The hard, candy-colored exterior is fairly polished and feels solid to the touch--certainly tough enough to withstand being tossed in your bag. And a huge, well-secured bezel keeps the 8.9-inch, 1024-by-600-pixel display in place.
For $400 you will also get 8GB harddisk (SSD) and 512MB of RAM without Windows XP. But there is no problem to get a 80GB harddisk 1-2GB of RAM and Windows XP home edition, of course for some more bugs.

Blizzard met the expectations of fans and officially announced Diablo III at its Worldwide Invitational event in Paris, France. The game will retain the series' overhead perspective, will still be an action-RPG, and feature somewhere around five character classes. Revealed so far are the barbarian and all new witch doctor class. The 3D Engine should be completely new. Blizzard isn't getting into many of the details about Diablo III yet. As of right now, Diablo III is eventually going to ship for PC and Mac.

Support for Windows XP till 2014

Microsoft was thinking about that to support Windows XP till 2009. But now we can be sure that Microsoft will support Windows XP till 2014. One reason is that many companies, including Intel, will keep Windows XP and don´t want to change to Vista. The next reason is that many new small PC´s and Notebooks like Asus Eee PC are not powerful enough to run Vista on it but strong enough to run Windows XP. Microsoft will prevent to many Linux OS on this kind of Computers.

Sun Microsystems announced a new Version of the relational data base management system MySQL. A release candidate of MySQL 5.1 is now available on the download server.
The Version 5.0 is now about 2.5 years alive and 5.1 promises to be a little bit faster. The DB-Admin should be able to have a better control about the system.
I´m sure it is worth to make that upgrade. And the 6.0 Alpha is also on the way!
