KT are Oscar P, Christian Scott, Davidson Ospina, and Keith Thompson. Don't panic, yes it's a cover (of sorts) of the now very familiar Bob Marley song but look below the surface and there's a lot going on. For starters the Javi Lopez mix hits you hard with heavy tribal beats and sub-bass lines that lend themselves refreshingly well to this reggae cover which while being moody is also quite magnificent. The Doop Main Mix adds nasty drums and builds the mood with Pierre styled strings and increasing intensity, while the Max Martinez Tech Mix does just that with notably tough rhythms, crisp snare hits, and by cutting up the vocals in an extremely - Greg Fenton

Mikeytown

Peter Michael Abat, aka Mikeytown’s, exposure to house music began in the early 90’s with such artists as C&C Music Factory, Jomanda, and Jungle Brother’s track “Ill House You”. What first captivated his interest in house music was listening to Tony Humphrey sets on the radio station KISS FM, broadcasting from New York City. House music became a way of life for Mikeytown when he moved to the West Coast in 1998.

In sunny San Diego, Mikeytown teamed up with DIVE’s DJ ALA in a mission to bring truly soulful house music to the people. Since joining the DIVE crew, Mikeytown has had the privilege to play alongside such DJ’s as: Jaime Thines, Karizma, Marques Wyatt, JoJo Flores, Julius the Mad Thinker, and many others whom he looks up to.

It is through his music that Mikeytown invites everyone into his world in hopes that they will experience what house music means to him… spirituality, uplifting and soul cleansing. Music is Mikeytown’s religion….House is his church.
