1. Google Mail Checker Plus

If you have Gmail account and need mail notifications while you browse then this extension is for you.

Read the mail.
Reply, delete and also move the mail to spam or archive folder.
Desktop notifications
Turn off notification sound
Select different icons.
Supports Priority Mail and multiple inbox.

2. After the Deadline

Are you a Blogger? or do you want to improve your English? Then this extension is for you.

Checks the spelling and grammar
Click the ABC button after you finish writing
Enable or disable the site where you need to spell check from the address bar icon.

3. Chromed Bird

This is great twitter client extension for chrome.

Shorten URLs easily which supports several URL shortening clients and also shrinks the URL of current page. Also use your own API account for shortening using.
Just Place the mouse over the image links to get previews (twitpic and Yfrog)
Multiple tabs like Home, Search, Replies, DM.
Auto completes User names as you type a tweet.
Desktop notification
Change Tweet Notification Icon colors (The icon changes color when you receive tweet)

4. Dictionary Lookup

20 Reasons I like Facebook over Orkut

Facebook which was launched in the year 2004 has more than 350 million users and ranks No 2 in Alexa rank. Orkut was launched on the same year a month before Facebook has only 180 Million users with the traffic of 87% from Brazil and India. It ranks 48 in Alexa rank.

20 Reasons I like Facebook Over Orkut

Age limit for Facebook is 13 and for orkut its 18.
Evey time a photo, video or link is posted a status message can be attached with it on Facebook. (Now Orkut has a option to add link)
There is 1000 friends, 250 video links and 1000 communities limit in Orkut. There is no limit in Facebook. (As far as i know)
There is a mail and Text message notification every time someone comments on my status. (There is a scrap notification but it does not work most of the time.)
Facebook has more apps and games than Orkut.
I can connect my twitter and Facebook account easily and share the updates. There is no proper app in Orkut for that.
The community status updates can be viewed in my Facebook feed.
I can view all the recent photo uploads of my friends in photos section.(In Orkut Recent photos are available only in status updates which is already available in Facebook)
Lot of unwanted spam messages in Orkut. (I check these very rarely) No problem of such spam messages in Facebook.
There is a fan page for the users in Facebook and for some popular Brands.
There is a notification of comments, friends request and direct messages on homepage like Facebook.
I can directly upload video on Facebook but i need a YouTube account for uploading videos on Orkut.
Share a friend's link or video easily with share button on Facebook but i can only share a video on Orkut. (There is manual share option but its not integrated, you have to bookmark and click it each time)
Can easily hide a person's status updates or a particular app update if don't like it to appear in my feed with hide button.
No proper mobile app for Orkut like Facebook. I have Nokia Facebook app , Nokia Communities, Snaptu, Gravity and many more for Facebook. (Orkut Android app is available but how many uses it?)
Online Members can be viewed both on the left pane and Right Bottom on Facebook, But in Orkut the members can be viewed only on right bottom.
If I like a status or picture on Facebook i can Click Like it! rather than leaving a comment which is absent in Orkut.
Facebook Like ! button on several websites are great and it automatically gets added to my profile and also other's likes can be viewed on the news feed.
Now Facebook can be accessed on mobile without any data charges with 0.facebook.com
Facebook friend suggestions and suggest a friend for others are great.

How to Convert Pdf to .Doc in 3 Simple Steps.

Ever tried to convert .pdf to .doc ? No no need to copy all the text from .pdf file and paste it on MS word and save it. You don't need any converter to do it but need latest version of Adobe reader and MS Word 2007.

Follow these steps carefully.

1.  Open the .pdf file with Adobe Reader and save it as text file (File -> save as text)

2.  Open the text file using wordpad and save it in rich text format (RTF).

3.  Open the Rich Text Document and save is as word file.

That's all now it's that simple without using any other softwares. This work on all .pdf documents with text without any images.

Here is a website which includes most of the functions on twitter. Its darbr.co.uk. I use opera mini 5 which is faster and saves bandwidth. Default mobile browser can also be used.

Instructions and Features:

The first thing you need to do is to change the settings accordingly. The color scheme can be changed. Most important is that the mode can be selected according to your phone such as Normal phone, Touch phone, PC/Laptop, Text only, Big Touch. The External links go option that can be selected to direct (which goes directly to the page when you click a link on twitter. If you use opera mini then choose direct) and GWT which is Google web trans-coder (when you use it from default browser.

After you save the settings you are directed to the home page. You can see home, replies, directs, search and more on the top screen. Some functions are hidden in the more which is displayed when you click it (on some settings only)

You can also post you picture using twitpic (present on the top or more tab according to the settings). In the twitpic option you can search for the picture from phone and upload it with the tweet in text box.

There are also tends, list, friends, Followers and so on.

You can reply, send DM and favorite a tweet . Also there is a preview of the you-tube and twitpic on the home screen itself.

As usual there is time stamp of each tweet and the client used for tweeting.

Our own tweets can be entered from the text box on the top.

Just click the user name on your timeline and go their page.
