<lj:music>CYHSY - Upon This Tidal Wave of Young Blood</lj:music>

Ah, spring!

What's with all the dust in this place?

Just in from a fairly wonderful night out with The Wise Mind. Now that the weather has thankfully warmed up, I've returned to riding Mimi around town. On the way home from work, I decided to stop at The Weave for fresh air and refreshments. Finished a Nantucket Nectar and a cookie and got about a third of the way through the most recent issue of American Theatre, before my phone rang, and a voice requested my presence at the other end of the lawn. Turned out to be The Wise Mind and a friend of hers. We sat and talked for hours, even chatted up The Hedgepig during his brief appearance.

We continue chatting until the sun went down, then I treated Wise Mind to dinner at Carrburritos. Always yummy.

Tonight, The IllinoizeMaker is in Raleigh at the Decemberists show. I am a little jealous, but then again, I am seeing The Arcade Fire next month and (so far as I know) he isn't, so it all evens out in the wash. And there's always TV on the Radio in TWO WEEKS (!!!) that we'll attend together. And Bloc Party in June, but he may not go with me. And Ben Gibbard next month.

So what was I jealous about in the first place?

Anyway, I need to start writing a paper, so bye!
