Oleg Gordievsky lied at my trial, as did Professor Merion Francis Lewis. I had almost forgotten the trauma and upset that it caused when I realised that people were lying under oath at my trial. This is usually called perjury, or perverting the course of justice, but it doesn't upset those hypocrites involved in the British Justice system.

So why has Gerard P. Burke not come forward and supported my case? He was overwhelmingly in favour of my case during trial, but when the case was over he disappeared into the background.

I have been answering questions on another website, and that is what has caused this new situation.

This is John Robles. You are listening to an interview with Christine Assange, the mother of Julian Assange.

John Robles: Hello Mam, how are you?

Christine Assange: I'm Ok. I'm, before you rang I was dealing with some journalists in Australia who decided - I don't know what the motive is, to make money, or they're jealous, or whatever it is - but to viciously smear Julian. Media, some elements of the media have been deliberately smearing Julian, and distorting the facts when they know it's so different. I am aware of some that are too lazy to actually investigate the facts, but now we're looking at an increase in deliberate smearing and misinforming the public about what's going on.

John Robles: Are there any points that are out there in the press that you would like to counter right now.

Christine Assange: OK, well, I suppose just the ones, for a start, in the last couple of days, and then I'll work backwards. Julian didn't do a "runner" on people that backed his bail, they fully supported his application for asylum. Because asylum is actually a legal process internationally recognised as the last resort for someone seeking justice, and it continues that Julian is not trying to get out of being questioned by the prosecutor in Sweden. For the last 2 years he's been trying to get this prosecutor to interview him, and she's refused to interview him in Sweden, she refused both his offers to fly back in to be interviewed, and she has rejected his offers to be interviewed at some British Embassy or Scotland Yard.

It's actually a holding case for US extradition. She knows that if she interviews him, she's going to either to have to charge him, or drop the case, as she's got no evidence. And that's why she wants him back in Sweden to interview him, where she can lock him up. That's exactly what will happen: before being interviewed, once he is extradited, she will pull him straight into a remand prison on indefinite detention, thus assuring that he is there to be picked up by a US extradition warrant, and that he won't be able to continue his work with Wikileaks.

John Robles: What do you know about the sealed indictment they say that the US Grand Jury handed down?

Christine Assange: The proof of that is coming from when Anonymous hacked into the private global intelligence company based in Texas that has worldwide ...

John Robles: Stratfor?

Christine Assange: Stratfor, and one of the executive officers actually stated that there was a sealed indictment sitting there, waiting for the right moment to be served upon Julian. Comes via a US Grand Jury, and there's no proper legal process in obtaining that sealed indictment, there is no judge, there are 9 defence prosecutors, at the moment - there used to be 4 - and no defence material is allowed and the jury call is drawn from Alexandria, Virginia, which has the highest level of military contractors in the US.

John Robles: Can you tell our listeners anything about his asylum application with Ecuador?

Christine Assange: He has given a letter to the Ecuadorian President, and a submission was being made. The Ecuadorian President has made a number of statements He's stated that from what he can see, his comment was: 'if we treated Julian Assange half badly as he has been treated we would have been labelled as dictators and oppressors'. He's also said that he believes Julian has every right to ask for political asylum given the way that he's been treated.

Julian's very happy at the Ecuadorian Embassy. He's being treated extremely well. They're nice people, I've spoken to them as well, warm and a genuine sorts of people, none of the cold, officious bureaucracy which you get in the UK or Australia or with Sweden. He's sounding very relaxed and feeling much safer than he has for a long time

John Robles: Has anyone touched upon the matter, of him, if he is given asylum, how will he physically be able to fly to Ecuador?

Christine Assange: No, no-one's touched on that with me yet, I'm not sure how that's done. I'm not sure whether the US or the UK is going to respect the sovereignty of Ecuador or not. They don't, the US doesn't respect the sovereignty of other people's countries generally. I'd like to think that some way, there'd be some negotiations that would be respected, but I'm not hopeful.

John Robles: Do you think there is any possibility that the US may try to intercept him if he leaves the Embassy compound. Have you heard anything?

Christine Assange: Definitely, and I think that the US is quite capable of assassinating him. In fact, there's been some recent articles out of Washington, that were printed in our Australian papers, that Obama's completely out of control, and that he's drawing up personal lists of people that he wants to drone and assassinate, and he's refusing to actually discuss this with Congress or the justice system at all. He's running off like a loose cannon around the world

John Robles: He actually has his own kill list now, that he signs off every day?

Christine Assange: We call those people dictators.

John Robles: This is the first I've heard about anything regarding assassination

Christine Assange: In the first week of December 2010, when Julian was arrested and just prior to that, there were many commentators, in the US, who were calling for him to be garrotted, droned, assassinated, hunted down, and so on, it goes - talking in quite graphic terms - about what they would do to him, and the Stratfor e-mails talked about torturing him, when he'd gone into a US prison.

I suppose that we're seeing a rapid decline in our democracy at a frightening level. The American government is no longer in safe hands for the rest of the world or the American people, that people around the world need to tell their governments not to comply with American demands and intimidating and bullying their countries, and I think that the American people need to do something similar. They have to stand up for their civil rights, and we think that would be to stand up for Julian, and Wikileaks's right to operate as a free press. Julian is, remains uncharged anywhere in the world. The US Treasury has stated he hadn't broken no law.

John Robles: Do you know anything about the case of Manning?

Christine Assange: Bradley Manning - the last straw for him was when he was asked to arrest 15 Iraqi dissidents, civilian dissidents. Take them to the Iraqi police for torture, and when he asked what it was that they'd done, it was that they had run around with a piece of paper asking where their money had gone. That was referring to the reconstruction money and that great crime of asking how the money was being wroughtered away

John Robles: It was US money.

Christine Assange: US money, yes, and this is something that the US government and the US contractors do regularly around the world. They make a lot of money out of the wars, and then they make a whole lot of money out of reconstruction, and they also make a lot of money on reconstruction after disasters. And this is all money that's been wrongfully obtained, its often double quoting, as in Katrina, and this is fraud. It's fraud and intimidation on people's countries, and it needs to stop, and Wikileaks outed it. And rather than trying to shut Wikileaks up, the American government should be prosecuting those people involved.

John Robles: Right, exactly, instead they're going after the whistle blowers. I mean, everything's gone completely crazy in my opinion.

Christine Assange: The feeling mostly to me and other people, it's not actually what the Wikileaks cables revealed, but the response of the US government to it. That has shown us that we do not live in a democracy at all - it's facade - it's police state art. Apparatus will be put over the democracy at any time they feel like it and they're doing it now, and it's frightening at the rate that it's creeping through people's countries. For example, Russia Today has been very good in showing what's been going on, but we can't get our own media to do the same thing.

John Robles: Yeah.

Christine Assange: Ok, no worries.

John Robles: Ok, thank you very much. I really, really appreciate it.

Christine Assange: I really, really appreciate it too. A chance to get some truth out.

Julian Assange - Ecuador & secrets - USA military laws

Julian Assange has finally made a move to protect himself from being sent to the USA, where it was expected that he would face a trial for revealing embarrassing USA secrets. We all know that the sex case in Sweden was merely a pretext to get Assange extradited to the USA, where he was expected to face the far more serious charges of publishing classified military documents.

Why should anybody be surprised at the this new situation? From Day 1 it was always the case that the USA wanted Assange to be sent to the USA - the dream situation was for Assange to stand alongside Bradley Manning, with both facing trial, and life sentences offered as the inevitable punishment.

Why should we be worried about this new development? It is important, because Julian Assange represents a group of people prepared to whistle-blow against the criminal behaviour by the USA and other Western countries. These Western countries are fearful that their control over global resources is being weakened, and that they are being marginalised in the world's carving up of available oil, minerals and commodities.

London Olympics - Tim Summers on war protest, riots & demonstration - Green Left

Tim Summers (of the Green Party) gave an interview to the Voice of Russia radio station, published 18 June 2012 on their website. The subject concentrated on the 2012 London Olympics, and it revealed the shocking facts that London has become a war zone for the duration of the games. John Robles, the interviewer states that: "UK police chiefs are expecting more riots during the Olympics. There is large military personnel stationed in London. And still the media do not wish to dwell on why London must become a war zone."

Below is the interview as broadcast ...

This is John Robles, you are listening to an interview with Tim Summers – a political activist and the former national campaign’s officer of the Green Party of England and Wales in the UK. He is also a former political cartoonist.

Hello Tim! How are you today?

I’m very well, thank you John.

It’s a pleasure to be speaking with you. What can you comment about skewed coverage by the BBC and British media regarding unrest in the country and in particular about the riots of last year?

Well, rather grim news about that, really John. The riots started early August last year in Tottenham North London, when the local word spread of the shooting by police of a young unarmed black man, Mark Duggan, on the 4th of August. And even today as I speak the 31 police involved, including the gunman, are refusing interview with the so-called Independent Police Complaints Commission. And the media have largely ignored that whole origin of the August riots. The Independent Police Complaints Commission is already a notorious cover-up stooge organization, regarding its cover up of the murder by police of Jean Charles de Menezes.

So, when 31 police refuse an interview with the IPCC it really does not look good for them, and particularly when riots are expected again this summer. Last August, it broke out from London, it spread all over London and then all across England, in odd places. It was the affluent market towns, so-called - Croydon that was worst hit - and riots became arson and looting as they tend to. But this was followed, not with a careful examination, but a huge crackdown and very heavy jailing sentences to create a sort of moral panic by the Government and by the media, and in tandem.

And that the causes, which I think I’ll go into, have not been addressed. Several weeks ago six rioters in Aston, Birmingham, had shot handguns at police and were jailed for a total of 124 years, that’s over 20 years each. That’s a measure of how serious the riots were, and how serious the sentencing is. But, instead of asking the obvious political and economic questions, a huge sycophantic media coverage of the monarch’s Diamond Jubilee party a fortnight ago, or coverage of this great sensational Olympics showcase, diverts the masses consciously from all kinds of questions of social policy.

Unemployment for example is up, particularly regarding youth and black people. The gap between rich and poor has widened, and continued to widen for years. Private rents, house prices go up, wages stay static, the Government’s austerity cuts (20% of them so far) have removed grants to sixth-formers, capped housing benefit, cut mental health services, huge amounts of public sector jobs, cut social housing. All this is causing very, very deep grief beneath the surface, not reflected in the corporate media’s reporting. Particularly the relations between youth and police continue to deteriorate. Many young people hate the police because police are the interface, the only interface, between them and Government that they ever come across. And there's increased complaints of police racism, currently twelve are being investigated. Homelessness has risen by 30% just during the first three months of this year.

So, it's becoming very, very harsh social conditions. Therefore, the police chiefs are expecting more riots during the Olympics. They are stationing a huge national police force in London throughout the Olympics. But the Olympics charter, of the unelected International Olympics Committee, declares no kind of demonstration, or political or religious propaganda is permitted in any Olympic sites, venues or other areas. But what are these other areas - the media won’t tell us? This is a recipe for absolute chaos.

The London Olympics has deliberately gone out to invite the sponsorship of major corporations – McDonald’s, Coca Cola and even Dow Chemicals, whose chemical pollution caused 25,000 deaths in Bhopal in 1984. And now Dow Chemicals are making drapes for the Olympic Stadium, and there's a ban on demonstrations. This is really absurd. Protests are inevitable, and already planned. So, police have stockpiled 10,000 plastic bullets ready for their first use in London. The mass media and the corporations are related, and allied to British Governments. This is coming out every week in the Leveson Inquiry, where Rupert Murdoch’s News International Corporation is being shown, exposed for its links with Governments and its direct influences.

Are they similar to the BBC, I mean Murdoch’s coverage, was it in line with the BBC coverage in the country?

Well, Murdoch’s line is even more harsh, particularly in terms of warmongering, like the Iraq War. He really tells governments what to do. And the BBC hasn’t been so exposed yet, but there's something really bland about the BBC, the way it just blanks out all the important questions and just gives you daily acreage of very, sort of, sycophantic coverage.

They won’t tell you why the London Olympics has become a war zone, why there are 3,500 military personnel stationed in London over the Olympics, snipers in helicopters. Listen to this – six ground-to-air anti-aircraft missile bases around London. Typhoon jet fighter planes at Northolt Airbase. An unknown force of American armed paramilitaries will be roaming London, plus 10,400 G4S Private Security Guards, 3,000 student stewards, a Royal Navy battleship packed with marines moored in London's Pool, 8,000 volunteer assistants raised by Mayor Boris Johnson. And still the media do not wish to dwell on why London must become a war zone.

And why is that?

Well, I think we must assume that some retaliation for Britain’s recent resource wars, and war crimes, is imminent but that could mean Afghanistan, or Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Uganda and recently Britain supplied arms to Syria, via Saudi Arabia and Qatar. That’s eight possible retaliations I've listed, but you won't find them listed in the corporate media in Britain, which, as I say, is so absolutely in bed with Governments.

So, if you add all this together – you add the riots, the war retaliations, as expected, the protests, the war zone, add to that 11 million extra visitors. Many of London's main roads being closed as VIP lanes, overloaded public transport, all for the huge over heated, vainglorious, unsustainable spectacle, and you have one thing - Apocalympics - signifying and showcasing the whole global decline of the Western powers. Please take my warning because you won’t find it in Britain's media.

Michael McFaul accused by John Robles on behalf of Voice of Russia

John Robles has exposed the double game that Michael McFaul has been playing since he arrived in Moscow in January as the US Ambassador. Below is John's article on the VOR site:

The latest escapade of US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, the “Ambassador Provocateur”, as some are calling him, seems to be that of an individual desperately trying to stay relevant and still seemingly unable to believe that there are in fact many countries, people and forces all over the world that do not particularly love the United States of America and that can form opinions, choose governments and alliances without first getting the go-ahead from Washington.

On Friday, May 25th, in his arrogant, in-your-face, provocative style of “diplomacy” something that any true diplomat would say his arsenal is in reality lacking, McFaul addressed students at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and said, " I will not be diplomatic. Your country bribed Kyrgyzstan so they would throw the Americans out of Manas."

During his speech he also made a statement that, had it been made by any other diplomatic official from any other country, would have him or her packing their bags and heading home on the next flight out. McFaul admitted, openly and in a public forum that the U.S. Government had attempted to bribe the leadership of Kyrgyzstan but did not offer the specific names of the officials who the U.S. attempted to bribe. Apparently it is okay for a U.S. official to admit that the U.S. Government corrupts officials of other countries and uses bribery as one of its instruments overseas. Even if this was a well known fact, perhaps someone should tell McFaul it is not acceptable nor is it legal. Even for the U.S.

During the speech he also did not offer any proof or evidence to back up his claim against the Russian Federation or the Russian Government but his statements have once again made headlines and he has the media attention he so desperately seems to be craving. As with his meetings with the opposition and many of his previous statements, it seems the “ambassador” is desperately trying to tarnish the image of the credibility of the government of the Russian Federation; one of the precepts and key actions needed to bring about a “color” revolution. Color Revolutions are something the “ambassador” is an expert in and one reason he was chosen to be posted in Russia, this is also a very important fact no one should forget.

According to the U.S. ambassador, the negotiations were going on with the former president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev and he was the official that the U.S. had attempted to bribe. Due to the fact that he refused American advances a color revolution was arranged and Bakiev was ousted in April 2010. Sadly for McFaul, as he seems to be so concerned with the issue, the problem of Kyrgyzstan hosting a U.S. military base was still not solved and the military base at Manas Airport was changed into a Transit Center.

In February of this year, unfortunately for the U.S., President Atambaeva of Kyrgyzstan was also not able to be swayed and has officially stated that from June 2014 no U.S. soldiers would be stationed at Manas Airport.

Capitalizing on the international sympathy and openness that existed after the events of September 11, 2001 in New York, the U.S. Air Force Transfer Center at Bishkek’s Manas International Airport was established in December 2001as part of Operation "Enduring Freedom” in Afghanistan. According to official figures more than 1,500 American military and civilian personnel are deployed at Manas.

The current agreement will be in effect until the fall of 2014 at which time, as Kyrgyz President Atambaev has repeatedly underlined, the base will be closed.

In a related story, in March, the U.S. ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Pamela Spratlen was forced to promise that the transit center would also not be involved in any possible U.S. military operation against Iran.

In case the ambassador does not know, Kyrgyzstan has long been a strategic partner to Russia and Russia also uses a number of military bases in Kyrgyzstan. It is more realistic to believe that it is in the interests of mutual security and diplomacy that the base at Manas is being closed, and not because of a bribe. Maybe the American should finally realize that not everyone can be bought or intimidated. The Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan even have an agreement on the presence of military aircraft in Kyrgyzstan for 49 years.

While the Ambassador is so openly admitting to the attempted bribing by the U.S. Government of the president of a sovereign nation, perhaps he can fill us in on the exact nature and amounts of the payments that the Russian “Opposition” received from the U.S. Embassy during their “secret, closed-door-meetings” before Russia’s last presidential elections in which he met with such people as deputies from the Just Russia Party Oksana Dmitrieva and Ilya Ponomarev, Vladimir Ryzhkov and Boris Nemtsov from the unregistered party PARNAS, and the Chairman of the Yabloko Party Sergei Mitrokhin.

If McFaul is really so worried about bribes and influence peddling perhaps he can give a talk on the U.S. buying of regimes worldwide and the arranging of color revolutions when they are not buyable and on the million other ways the U.S. influences and destroys the sovereignty of the world’s nations and peoples.

Maybe while he is being so open and honest he can tell us about how the US deals with people and organizations that it deems are working against the interests of the US, such as reporters, activists and protesters?

A key precept and condition for laying the foundation for a color revolution in any country, and McFaul knows this better than any of us, is placing ideas of doubt and/or the questionability of the legitimacy of the ruling government into the minds of the population. Once those seeds are planted they need to be nurtured and spread.

In my opinion, looking at his track record and everything that he has done so far, that is exactly what McFaul has been doing since he has been in Russia; planting seeds of doubt and attempting to sow instability, in other words “sedition”.

Trayvon Martin murdered by US gun laws

Trayvon Martin was murdered by George Zimmerman, and that seems quite certain. Although it is hard to believe that one man would shoot another unarmed man dead for no apparent reason.

Having the right to bear arms is a strange and worrying aspect of American society, because there will always be groups within the community who think it is OK to walk around with a gun, to use it without thinking, and then to ask questions later about whether it was really necessary to kill.

Why are armed men roaming the streets in the USA, looking for people to gun down? This is not the first time such events have happened, and we have had many cases where mass murder has occurred because some psychopath could buy weapons in the local store.

When will the US government take guns off the street, and prevent lunatics and those with a killing lust from gaining access to deadly firearms?

Robert Bales - US soldier faces 17 murder charges

Robert Bales has been charged with 17 counts of murder after the atrocious killing of Afghan civilians on 11 March in Panjwai district, Kandahar province. Let us hope that Sgt Bales will receive a fair trial, and that justice will be done for the innocent lives lost in this terrible tragedy.

John Anthony Robles attacked by US Ambassador to Moscow Michael Anthony McFaul

Michael Anthony McFaul, the US Ambassador to Moscow, has unleashed an extraordinary attack on John Anthony Robles, a man who poses no threat to the USA or to Mr McFaul personally. The question has to be asked: why was John Robles targeted, and why has he been singled out for hostile treatment by other US Embassy staff over several years? Is this really about a simple passport problem, or the fictitious claim that John had made some fraudulent child support application when he lived in California? Clearly there is more to John's case than Mr McFaul was prepared to tell the Russian authorities, when he chose to attack John last week.

As we all know, the FBI and the British Metropolitan Police employ some of the dumbest people on the planet. It was a lucky coincidence that today we learned how the FBI were caught or hacked during phone conversations with their Met. Police counterparts. This little insight helps us to understand the perversions that are fundamental to the policy of the FBI, and their beloved late leader J. Edgar Hoover, or should we rather call him J. Edna Hoover?

Perhaps it was at a meeting of such perverted FBI operatives, attending one of their all-male secret societies, when the plot was hatched to threaten and frame John Robles, because he was seen as an easy target? What we do know is that John was attacked and his life was put in danger, and then he was framed and put under pressure by some shady characters - whether they were FBI or CIA seems not to be important - but John was forced to leave the USA. We can go into this in more detail later.

Michael Anthony McFaul is a danger to the Russian Federation

January 22, 2012 Michael Anthony McFaul born 1963 in Glasgow, Montana is a Stanford University professor the former director of the university's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law, he worked for the U.S. National Security Council as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director of Russian and Eurasian Affairs and is a Hoover Institution Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow with friendly ties to neoconservatives. McFaul is called the architect of Obama's reset policy but is not a career diplomat.

In 1994, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a member of the Russian State Duma denounced McFaul for good reason. Mcfaul was attempting to shape Russia policy ala Brezhinsky during the 1990s and was actively seeking to interfere in the inner workings of the governmental and democratic institutions of the Russian Federation.

If one is to look carefully at the holes in his biography and his modi operandi for the trained analyst a picture begins to appear of someone hiding behind the trees and propping up a legend not his own, it is clear that this person has an agenda, a history, and credentials that are not in keeping with his position as a diplomat.

I am not saying it is wrong for the ambassador to have connection to the secret services. That is a given and perfectly normal. The problem with McFaul is that he is a SPOOK. Having a spook posing as the ambassador to a country is a great move for the intelligence service behind him but can not be accepted by the host country.

McFaul must be declared persona non grata and expelled at once. If he is not he will continue to attempt to subvert the Russian Federation and in particular the upcoming presidential elections and the campaign of Prime Minister Putin.
In 1994 a gunman fired a shot into McFaul's Stanford University office window, if he doesn’t pack his bags history may repeat itself.

McFaul has shown openly he is organizing and promoting an opposition that did not exist until recently in Russia. By that alone he is a danger to the internal political processes of the Russian Federation, is not here to perform the duties of an ambassador, and has proven time and again he is an enemy to the Russian State and the Russian people.

He came here arrogantly swaggering, swinging his ambassadorship hanging from his hand around, telling the press he was here to educate Russian on Americans. Yes, he said he was here to help Russians understand Americans. Russian are stupid according to McFaul, especially if they think they see America’s missiles all along its borders as a threat.

McFaul, please do the Russian Federation and the human race a favor and pack up your bags, say bye bye to your American financed, America created and American loving opposition, and get your weasel-like slimy wormlike ass out of Russia. On second thought, take them with you. And like the great Zhirinovsky I also denounce you.

Go running back to your psychopathic Hillary and tell her to send you somewhere where you are needed. You could go clean toilets at the Skull and Bones camp in Bohemian Grove, or are you no longer a member?

John Robles is a danger to McFaul?

According to the U.S. and their agents,

I am not human, therefore I have no human rights.

According to the US it is okay to threaten Prime Minister Putin, it is okay to hunt and kill and kidnap and torture anyone, but if you tell one of Hilary's chosen ones his days are numbered in country since his policies are unacceptable that is a crime. I am flattered that McFaul is pretending to be scared of me in order to cause me problems here. Here is the e-mail that was sent to McFaul in my name. (In answer to an e-mail he sent me) As a diplomat he complained to the Russian authorities that I threatened him ten days after he got the e-mail, it was sent on the 18th they contacted the authorities on the 28th. I am Thank God we are in Russia.

Shortly after the new US Ambassador, Michael McFaul, arrived in Moscow it soon became evident that he was hell-bent on advancing a negative and arrogant position towards Russia. I was very surprised at Mr. McFaul's claim that he was here to make Russians understand America; it was arrogant for him to assume that Russians are stupid and his approach indicates that he has little respect for Russia's democratic traditions.

Instead of behaving with the diplomacy I would have expected, McFaul has gone out of his way to publicise his contempt for our elected leaders, making a special point of meeting with the opposition politicians, backed by the West, who want to bring down Vladimir Putin.

In the e-mail above, entitled “Disgraceful Start up” addressed to RosenmanRG@state.gov (the man who revoked my US passport), moscowwarden@state.gov, and consulMo@state.gov, That my friends forwarded to McFaul, I made my position clear, that I had seen through the charade that McFaul was in Moscow to act as a normal Ambassador, he has an agenda. I also suggested that I was due compensation for having to go through what my family and I have had to go through since they revoked my passport in 2007 on false grounds and ordered me to close my site.

I seem to have hit a raw nerve with my e-mail, and the article above. It must have caused McFaul intense irritation that I also work for Russian State radio and am a vocal opponent of many U.S. policies. Consequently, it took ten days for the US authorities to devise a plan to try to attack and damage me.

Presumably there must have been dozens of communiqués back and forth between officials at the US Moscow Embassy and their bosses back in Washington, because the only approach they could come up with is that I am an extremely dangerous individual, and that McFaul is frightened that I might physically harm him!

I am the only person in the world with political asylum from the US that I am aware of. Any attack by the US to harm me, even by proxy, is a violation of the UN statutes on refugees and against international law. They complained that they were afraid of me to the Russian authorities after I complained about McFaul and wrote the piece above. They are also upset about all my work in the mass media in particular my radio job. This was an attempt to use the Russian authorities to get me. Next I am sure they will attempt to rendition me or orchestrate an accident or further attack my character.

I must remind those who are unaware of my case, that the US Embassy revoked my citizenship on the grounds that I owed child support in California, even though I had raised my children on my own (in the Russian Federation) since they were very small and my children are here in Russia and the embassy knows that.

The fact that the Embassy believes that I would be so stupid, being a public figure, and using my own e-mail address and giving them my social security number to threaten McFaul is ridiculous and self serving, here I was a single dad and a dead beat at the same time, then I am a victim asking for compensation whose life they have destroyed but they pretend to be afraid of me?

It is obvious that the US authorities are desperate and they feel forced to make wild accusations, because they have no real charges to bring against me. We have seen similar allegations in the past against those that Washington fears, with innocent people tortured and renditioned, and nothing the US does now surprises me.

It is typical of the US position that representatives of the U.S. government working out of the Moscow embassy ordered me to close my website www.jar2.com, which among other things accuses the US Government of being involved in 9-11. My recent article criticising McFaul may have caused alarm at the Embassy, but it is only my opinion, and here in Russia we do value the right of free speech.

It is sad that US officials are so afraid of the truth that they do all they can to suppress it. It is also sad that they continue to try to marginalize me and paint me to be some monster. Just like they paid Salagub and his agents to run around and tell my clients and friends that I was dangerous so I lost my school now they are running around telling the Russian authorities I am dangerous.

I guess Rosenman assumes that I might be a little bit bitter after having lived as a refugee for the past five years since he illegally revoked my passport leaving me stateless and ordered me to shut up. Maybe that is why they are so afraid of me. Or maybe their agent is telling them things they want to hear. I mean agents.

You step on a man, take everything he has, make false accusations, spit in his face, revoke his citizenship, make his children suffer, insult his honor, destroy his life and then you claim he is dangerous is like the most wormlike scummy cowardly thing one could possibly do, but that is what we can expect from the American Embassy in Moscow.

The article above was published last Sunday and then within minutes my internet incredibly shut off for three days which shows robust and improved abilities by the CIA.

However, Mr McFaul, we care very little whether or not you really are a CIA officer (spook) sent to interfere in Russia's internal politics. The chances of you ever being effective in that role are fairly low, and we expect any CIA officer operating out of Moscow is already known to the Russian intelligence services. What you should be considering is doing some humanitarian work to show that Americans are not all heartless murdering bastards. It was mentioned above about the hacked conversation of the FBI and British Police plotting together. Back in 1992 the CIA plotted with MI5 in an attempt to fabricate evidence to frame me. In 1976 I went on a holiday to Canada and the USA and I travelled around by Greyhound bus. What a suspicious thing to do, you must be thinking? Well, in the minds of MI5 this is just the sort of evidence they can twist into proof of guilt.

A number of locations are circled. At the top is the place where my friend worked, there is also a circle around the Greyhound bus station, and others at the Sears Tower and the Arts Centre. To me this was all innocent, as these were places I visited while I was there, and I went to the top of Sears Tower during my stay. Far from the reality of what I actually did in Chicago, MI5 were desperate to make it appear that I was on a KGB mission, and the CIA were there to help check out the details to try to incriminate me.

MI5 asked Viktor Oshchenko to say something that would help to make the Chicago visit appear to be sinister, and in his meeting with MI5 he did his best: :. ‘[Oshchenko] was shown the marked map of Downtown Chicago and asked for his comments. …. [Smith] was sent on the trip, paid for by the KGB, to establish contacts and friends and to reconnoitre the possibilities of obtaining a job out there. …. [Oshchenko] thought that the ringed buildings and numbers might, therefore, represent universities, research establishments or contact addresses’.

At my friend's recommendation I spent some time on a guided tour organised by the Chicago ArchiCenter. It was very interesting to visit a number of buildings in the city that had played a part in the development of architecture, including examples by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Below is the front cover of the leaflet describing the guided tours, and I even kept the ticket I bought for that tour. I have never understood the relevance of this for a KGB mission, but that is the sort of lie that MI5 had to use in order to ensure that I would be convicted.

In this interview, with John Robles, Tim discussed the growth of political repression in the UK and the USA, and the authorities' attacks on protests such as the Occupy Movement at St Paul's Cathedral and the anti-war camp at Parliament Square in London. The erosion of civil liberties must be fought with the demand for a more democratic system, according to Tim, and this should be based on the principle of Eco-Socialism.

Tim has fought for many years as a member of the Green Party, and he works tirelessly for a democratic system that will protect the ecology of the Earth. He is optimistic that the spontaneous upsurge of protest movements around the world is awakening the need for a truly democratic system, in order to be able to oppose the destructive war intentions of countries such as the USA and the UK.

I wish to place before you several criminal and other unethical matters which Prokopanko has not seen fit to inform your Government about.

You may feel Prokopanko has committed a criminal offense and should be prosecuted.

Mr. Prokopanko has caused the registration of Ms Singh as a lobbyist to your Government and he has at all times been aware of the following:

1. Ms Singh’s arrest record for dishonesty in Australia.

Ms Singh was arrested in 2000 and placed before Australian Courts for using 4 different names to improperly gain employment here.

Now if that were all of Ms Singh’s peccadilloes I would not be writing to you today, however, Prokopanko is well aware that Ms Singh has a history working for members of a notorious organized crime group forming partnerships with Paul Reed and Don Campbell, and Benji Venimen all ex drug traffickers, Read and Venimen had convictions for manslaughter and murder, respectively here in Australia. Additionally Prokopanko was well aware that Ms Singh had improperly obtained a job with Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Perth, Western Australia by falsely claiming to be an Australian citizen when she wasn’t and she did not have a proper Australian visa to work in Australia, and in obtaing that emploment she was acting contrary to her earlier court appearances when she was warned not to try to work again without proper authority but perhaps a more pertinent complaint against Singh would be:

That she gained an improper registration to practice law in Australia using deceit, an offense for which she would face criminal prosecution here in Australia.

The way she did this was.

a) Not to inform the legal Practice Board in Western Australia that:

1) She did not have permission to work in Australia.

2) But she did inform the practice board that she had worked for the president of the Victorian Supreme Court, Maxwell J. when this was not the case and was most certainly untrue.

3) She did not tell the practice board she had an arrest record for using 4 false names to gain un lawful employment.

4) She did not tell the practice board that she had been fired for theft of dog biscuits at Sims supermarket.

5) She did not tell the practice board that she had ongoing relationships with several high profile notorious criminals.

I think these matters are serious enough in themselves to be put before you, but of course there is much more to be revealed regarding the character and ethics of both Singh and Prokopanko than these outlines above. I am sure however, prudent simple enquiries as to suitability to lobby your Government would be revealing and may well prevent an international embarrassment.

Bradley Manning - torture victim of the USA Military Complex

Bradley Manning is the victim in this case - and a victim of torture - don't have any delusions about that. How could a low ranking soldier in the US services be such a source of damaging leaks? It is only possible because the USA has something to hide.

We have seen, in the past couple of days, that various people have made their views known. These people are declaring that Bradley is "guilty", even before the trial is completed. This tells me something - that agents of the US government are sending out signals that Bradley must be found "guilty" - so that a warning goes to anybody else contemplating "leaking" details to the media.

We must take the position, because this is the way Justice works, that Bradley is presumed innocent, and that he has the right to a fair trial. So why is there such an attack on Bradley, as his trial starts?

If Bradley did do what he is charged with, and he did leak information about what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan, then he deserves a medal for exposing the war crimes that the USA were responsible for.

The key feature that emerges is that the US government were very embarrassed for the truth to be known, about what they were doing in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the usual reason behind most of these type of cases. Politicians are inevitably embarrassed when are caught out doing some illegal or "dirty" action.

We often hear the phrase: "God bless America", but I think we should be saying "God bless Bradley Manning", for being a guy who was prepared to expose the crimes that the USA thought they could cover up.

Zatuliveter - Gordievsky lied to support paranoid MI5 numbskulls

Katya Zatuliveter has been cleared of the accusation of being a Russian spy. I couldn't see what other decision the Court could come to - at least it appeared to be obvious to me when I gave an interview to Voice of Russia last week.

One of the aspects that concerned me was that MI5 had acted unprofessionally in this case, particularly because of the paranoia that they seem to exhibit whenever a Russian is involved with a politician in Britain. Katya has stated the same view in her interview with the BBC, when she said that MI5 were 'unprofessional and paranoid'.

This institutional paranoia that permeates MI5 makes them see potential espionage activity from every Russian that arrives in the UK, and Katya says of MI5's attitude, that 'if you're Russian in this country you're a spy'.

So where does this leave our resident defector and chief MI5 ass-licker Oleg Gordievsky, who was so outspoken about the guilt of Miss Zatuliveter?

As early as October 2010 Gordievsky was condemning her as a Russian spy, in various British national daily newspapers. Gordievsky's views appear to have been used as major "evidence" against Katya. His sensationalist descriptions of Katya were circulated all around the world as some sort of exposure of her by a man who must know the truth in such situations - an ex-colonel in the KGB.

A very loquacious bird that talks a little too much for his own good

Well, after all the nonsense that Gordievsky has talked in the past year, I wonder why he is so silent today? It is all very well having a spokesperson to spread your lies all over the media, but when the truth is finally revealed, is it the parrot or the master who has bird shite all over their face?

We all know - because it is no secret that Gordievsky is a spokesperson for MI5 and MI6 - that he was put up to spreading the lies about Miss Zatuliveter. However, who is footing the bill for Gordievsky's incompetent and over-zealous attacks on Katya? Is it the British tax-payer who is supplying the money that makes Gordievsky talk, every time the British Intelligence Services need a bit of dirty propaganda splashed around the tabloids?

If British Intelligence are so incompetent, that they have to frame an innocent 26 year-old woman to create the illusion that they are great "spy-catchers", then what does this say about the organisation and the management of MI5?

Surely the Zatuliveter case clearly demonstrates what idiots we have supposedly protecting our National Security in Britain. MI5 must be the laughing stock of the intelligence world!

Tim Summers, Green Party campaigner talks about Occupy Movement

Tim Summers, political activist and campaigner for the British Green Party of England and Wales, has spoken out about the anti-capitalist Occupy Movements spreading around the world.

Tim gives his analysis of the causes that led to this movement and gives his opinion about where it is heading: "A lot of the comforts of the rich countries in the post-war period are now grinding to a halt. That’s why so many people are getting angry and calling themselves “99%."

Tim places the blame for the current situation on Capitalism, which he describes as a "rotten parasitic system that is addicted to oil and constant war" and puts forward his red-green political viewpoint - "Capitalism can’t take a position in its board rooms for zero growth, as any ecologist will spell out to you is necessary. It has to go on plundering the Earth’s resources for its profitability. It is an out-of-date system. It’s going into complete crisis and meltdown."

It seems certain that the Occupy Movement will continue to grow, and we can expect to see more demands for a resolution of the injustice we see in our society.

Katya Zatuliveter, Oleg Gordievsky & the Cambridge Parrot

Katya Zatuliveter has been in the news recently. I think she has been much maligned by the British Security Service (MI5) in order to gain some political advantage. I gave an interview a few days ago to the Voice of Russia radio station, to try to put the record straight.

Due to the limitations of a radio interview some parts of my interview had to be cut. For example, I talked about my Member of Parliament, Andrew Mackinlay MP:

John Robles: Do you know of other cases where Members of Parliament have been criticised for being connected to a Russian?

Michael John Smith: In 2008 my own MP, Andrew Mackinlay, was targeted in a smear campaign, simply because he had been having meetings with a Russian diplomat in the Houses of Parliament. Mr Mackinlay was a member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, so it was not unusual for him to have meetings with foreign representatives. Unfortunately, the paranoia of MI5 came into action, and stories suddenly started appearing in the newspapers that Mr Mackinlay was involved in something sinister, and that espionage might be involved.

John Robles: Surely, just talking with a diplomat doesn’t amount to spying?

Michael John Smith: No, I agree, but I believe in Mr Mackinlay’s case he became a target because he had asked probing questions in Parliament about issues that embarrassed the Government. For example, he was concerned about Britain’s involvement in the war in Iraq - he knew that Prime Minister Tony Blair had lied about the motives for the war. A smear campaign was an effective way to stop Mr Mackinlay causing embarrassment to the British Government and its Intelligence Services. Mr Mackinlay retired as an MP in 2010, but he did call for the British security services to be ‘brought under control’ for claiming there were too many Russian spies in the UK.

It seems that MI5 are acting more like Inspector Clouseau, rather than a sort of George Smiley character. However, Oleg Gordievsky, that ex-spy brought out at such occaisions to spread the disinformation, has not disappointed us this time. He claims that Katya was an important Russian spy.

David Rose the journalist, freely admitted that he was an agent of MI5 and MI6. It is good that he has declared his involvement in this disinformation of the news MI5 and MI6 want to circulate.

Sir Paul Stephenson resigned tonight. Only a few hours earlier Rebekah Brooks was arrested, and she also resigned on Friday, due to the impending legal threats she faces.

These are all clues about what is going on behind the scenes. It was asked on the BBC 24 Hours News channel today - why would the Police arrest Brooks today, when she was about to face an important meeting with MPs at the Select Committee on Tuesday? Brooks' arrest will prevent her talking openly to those MPs.

This is apparently confusing, but a little bit of analysis seems to indicate that the Police are trying to gain an advantage by out-manoeuvring the politicians, and putting pressure on Brooks not to talk to the MPs on Tuesday.

Clearly, the Police have the most credibility to lose in this saga. It was the Police who were alleged to have been taking bribes from News International, and it was the Police who failed to properly investigate the phone hacking and Police bribery allegations.

I think it will ultimately be revealed that Paul Stephenson had to resign to avoid being accused of incompetence, or worse. Stephenson will have to answer the accusations that he was too close to certain News International executives, and that this finally influenced the Police's failure to carry out the job that they were expected to do.

Corrupt Cop Detective Chief Superintendent Malcolm McLeod

Malcolm McLeod may present himself as an honest policeman, apparently now retired on a good pension, but the way he behaved in my case is thoroughly despicable. McLeod not only lied during his Police interviews following my arrest, but he was quite happy to present false evidence to the Court at my trial. I hope he ducked as he was swearing his oath, to avoid the bolts of lightning!

What false evidence did Malcolm McLeod produce? Well, for start he knew quite well that the so-called "ALARM" missile document was not only an obsolete document 8 years before I was arrested, but he deliberately engineered his Police investigation so that none of the 16 engineers listed on the circulation of that document were interviewed or called as witnesses to my trial. That document was presented as the main evidence against me. So, why do such a thing - unless you know that if these 16 people were called to give testimony then that will demolish your case? You dirty rat McLeod - you are just some trumped up loser - John Symonds told me how Special Branch officers are regarded as police who failed to make successful careers elsewhere.

McLeod also made the claim that I was given money from the KGB - listed elsewhere on my blog. McLeod gave personal testimony (under oath) in Court that he didn't have a clue where that money came from. Yet we had all the bank details that confirmed the dates, and from which banks that money had been withdrawn from. Well, the indications are that the money was issued from MI5 accounts, to implicate me in this sordid stitch-up! Why don't you come clean McLeod and just tell us what you know. The truth and nothing but the truth.

Leaks were made by the Police to the press to damage my defence case, and you know full well that the Sun and the Sunday Times were there ready to print the stories you wanted to get out into the public domain. With the recent evidence we have that News International was full of corruption, I can quite understand that there were bribes there waiting for you from Rupert Murdoch, or one of his cronies!

You also fabricated that false story about my tourist map, which I saved from my holiday in Oporto - you said it was linked to some invented KGB operation. Have you ever heard of any other KGB operation in Oporto? That story bears no relation to the later Mitrokhin Archive report, which I presume you were referring to, which talks about an operation in Lisbon some 200 miles down the coast, about 2 years later? So were you lying, or was Mitrokhin lying? I don't see why it is up to me to decide who is telling the truth there!

It was you, McLeod, who was involved in making that bogus telephone call to my home on the morning of my arrest. So if the name "Viktor" was the key name in your case against me, then why did you not produce the proof that this "Viktor" was in fact "Viktor Oshchenko". You never produced any evidence at my trial who this Viktor was? You heard Stella Rimington tell the Court, under oath, that MI5 had no evidence linking me with Oshchenko, so why did you make the claims you did - without proof! What a corrupt cop you really are! I hope you rot in hell !!!

Police, Phone Hacking, the Sun & Sunday Times

We are only just getting accustomed to the shocking news of what happened at the News of The World, and the phone hacking scandal. Hopefully Rupert Murdoch, James Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks will be called to answer questions next week and reveal all that they know! Now we have the escalation of this saga to include the Sun and Sunday Times, as revealed in the story about Gordon Brown. It seems that there was a sort sickness at News International.

This new evidence goes to support the accusations I have made against these newspapers: about the Sun, and the Sunday Times. Just what was the relationship between these newspapers and the Police back in 1992/3? I guess it was the same as it was when the News of The World was offering bribes to the Police for information about stories.

Very soon after my arrest the Special Branch policeman in charge of my case, Detective Chief Superintendent Malcolm McLeod, had made suggestions to my wife that I had been ordered by the KGB to marry her as a cover for spying activities. This was a complete lie designed to give her a false view of me and our marriage, and clearly the Police cared nothing about my wife's feelings but just wanted her to turn against me and give them what evidence they could extract from her.

Then, following my conviction, we have this same story emerging in the Sun newspaper. It could only have come from the Police, who were the people who had invented this story. I blame Malcolm McLeod for passing this story to the Sun and he probably authorised the media to be given access to my wedding photographs, which had been seized as evidence by the Police searching my home and were in the possession of the Police.

The Sunday Times article was also clearly something that was leaked to them by a high level source, and aimed at damaging my Defence case. Its publication would also dissuade any potential witnesses from coming forward and becoming implicated in a major Official Secrets Act espionage trial. Again, I blame Malcolm McLeod for being involved in this corrupt association with News International newspapers.

I would have expected the Police to have acted fairly and left the decision about Justice to the courts. However, the leaking of personal information and false stories about me could only have been done with the deliberate intention of swaying the odds in favour of the Prosecution case. Which is exactly what happened. Not only did the Police act unfairly in what they did, they also acted unfairly in what they did not do.

As we learned today in the case of the phone hacking investigation, a lot was not done by the Police to identify the victims and the culprits in that case. No doubt the Police did not want to discover who was accepting bribes and just how deeply corrupt practices had developed between the Police and the Press. This lack of activity also went on in the investigation of my case - why did the Police not discover that the "ALARM" missile document became obsolete 8 years before my arrest, which allowed the CPS to present it as a document actually used on ALARM missiles deployed in the Gulf War of 1991 - which could not possibly be true!

Gaining convictions by avoiding investigating the key evidence is something the Police must be good at. Again, I blame Malcolm McLeod for this decision not to investigate the "ALARM" document - or at least, as head of the investigation he must have known the truth, but that would not have helped him to win in Court. It is easy for me to now understand how such processes work, and the corruption of the Press and the Police is there to be seen by those who really look for it.

News International bribe corrupt Police for crime evidence

News of the World may be dead, and in recent days we have become increasingly aware of the public's distaste about the total disregard of the News of The World's staff for individual privacy. News International has shown complete disrespect for the Law and is quite happy to act corruptly and bribe the Police.

The Sun newspaper published one of the photographs from my wedding day, on page 9 of its 19 November 1993 edition. How did the Sun get hold of a private photo, which was not in the public domain, and was in fact my personal copyright?

We now know that News International journalists would routinely bribe Police officers in order to obtain information about cases being investigated by the Police. It is clear that money must have changed hands at my home shortly after my arrest. Otherwise, how on earth would the Sun get hold of one of my private wedding photos, unless they had paid a corrupt cop to get access to it?

I have a list of all the Police officers who are were recorded as having access to my home in 1992. I expect one of those Police officers was paid a bribe to give the Sun my wedding photo. Perhaps I should publish this here. However, the details are already available elsewhere on the Internet. My friend John Alexander Symonds (the "Romeo Spy") has explained to me just how this culture of corruption is institutionally endemic within the Police organisation.

I could have considered this as a minor issue - perhaps - compared to the unfairness of the trial I had just experienced over the previous 7/8 weeks. However, the publication of this photo was instrumental in causing my wife to divorce me, and so I blame News International, and Rupert Murdoch in particular, for running an organisation that has this culture of ... "anything goes!" But then we must also consider that James Murdoch, Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson also have a lot to answer for.

So, what should I do about the publication of my wedding photo, something which I never agreed to?

However, this was not the only abuse by the press after I was arrested. Many details about my wife and I were leaked and published to try to undermine my Defence before the case got to trial. For example, one of the worst things to happen involved another Rupert Murdoch newspaper - The Sunday Times. Only a month after my arrest all the Police claims against me were published in the Sunday Times on 6th September 1992. This was particularly damaging as many of those allegations were later dropped before my trial, but obviously the accuracy of these reports was not important to either the journalists, the newspapers or the Police!
