Isabella Blow was a legendary
supporter of fashion.

She discovered fashion champions like Phillip

Treacy and the late great Alexander McQueen and

played the role of their greatest muse.

She famously brought Alexander McQueen's and purchased his
entire graduate collection for ₤5,000,
paying it off in weekly ₤100 installments.

Isabella Blow ( by Steven Miesel)

She also helped to put talent like

Stella Tenant, Honor Frasier and Sophie Dahl
on the map.

Blow was the fashion director of Tatler at one time.

She was highly respected by Anna Wintour...
That alone says a LOT.

Life Of A Stylist: Italian Vogue Curvy with Actress Malgosia Garnys

I worked recently with Cathrine Westergaard to style an interview

video for a curvy size actress Malgosia Garnys for the plus size division
of Vogue Italy known as Vogue Curvy.

When dressing an actress you get to dress a person who has
their own personal style.
Malgosia's personal style personal style
was tomboy chic with a penchant for cool sneakers.
We worked around things that resonated with her for this shoot.
Most of it was shot outside

As we go into the holiday and festive dressing.
I felt the need to encourage some and warn others that you
do NOT have to match your eyeshadow,
lipstick and nail polish simultaneously to your dress.

This happened to a close friend the other night as she was dressing
for her holiday party
and she showed me her lavender shoes, her lavender jacket
and purple/lilac makeup to match guess what, her lavender dress.

You know I came to her rescue, right?!
So now I'm telling YOU...
It's totally okay to diversify your color palette.
For example let's try red.....

I must have been under a rock not to hear of her before but the

voice of the band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals is a

haute rocking superstar!

A bit of country, a bit of rock and roll and a touch of soul combined

with hippie chic from the 60's and 70's that I completely dig.

It's so hauteness!

I saw and heard Paris for the first time on the VH-1 DIVAS special and I was awestruck!

What's not to love about her looks and style, of course her voice

AND she plays a stylish guitar!

WOW!

How could anyone today be reminiscent of of Heidi Klum,

Heart, Janis Joplin and a touch of the soulfulness of Aretha Franklin in one sweet package

AND

also sing with a FULL INSTRUMENTAL band in the 21st century?

This woman can REALLY sing!!!!

This is what music needs!

I'm happy to see her energy on the scene!

This song Paris is an immediate favorite for me!

It's contagious!
