So lately, I've been experimenting with AI and chatbots.
I came across this awesome site called The Personality Forge, that allows you to make your own chatbots by adding phrases and responses.
There's also a guide for beginners, which makes everything so much easier, even if, like myself, you know barely nothing about AI.
SO, now I'd like to ask your help. My bot's name is Kaliska.Talk to Kaliska. , you will be taken to a page where you can chat with her. I would appreciate any tips, and you will be leaving me with valuable transcripts of your conversations, which will enable me to better her.

Yes, I have adopted a second kittie and no, I'm not getting any more.
Schnee is extremely scared of humans. So, we're busy rehabilitating him. I have a feeling it's gonna be a long long road...
Jinko is amazing with him, though. :) I love her!
Every now and then she'd go to him and give him some love by rubbing his head with her head and licking his face :) It's the cutest thing! :D

Yay, you guys! I got a kittie today!!
Jinko was an abandoned stray somebody left by the vet I'm working at. Since she got there, I have visited her in the mornings before starting my day. I LOVE how affectionate she is. She's also the most relaxed cat I've ever owned. And she talks to you in her own special way.
I finally got to take her home today. :) On top of that I also found out that she is not a he, as I have thought. :)

I'm busy watching the 46664 concert (an annual AIDS benefit concert held by Nelson Mandela) on television. Unfortunately I can't be there, as it's held in Johannesburg this year, which is about 1400km from where I am at the moment. Live is playing, Johnny Clegg and Annie Lennox to name but a few.
Anyway, Nelson Mandela just walked onto the stage to deliver a personal message. The crowd is going wild! People in the audience are crying..
And I look at these people, and I think : Man, I have never even met this man. I do not know him. BUT I feel EXACTLY the same about Mr Mandela. I have the utmost respect and love in my heart for this wonderful man.
I want to cry too, because I am ashamed of the sins of my forefathers during the apartheid years. I'm so glad Mr Mandela got released from prison and changed all this nonsense. The day of his death, will be the day we hear the world's heart break..
Long live Madiba.

I'm not a huge fan of sport, but this weekend it was the Rugby World Cup, and the absolute manic rugby-fever frenzy that overtook the people of this country moved me to write this post.
I started realising how crazy everybody was on Friday, when I was driving home from work, and two little boys where hanging out of the windows of their dad's bakkie, each bearing a flag - a South African Flag and the other a Springbok flag. First thought in my mind was "jeeeeeeeeez".
Anyway, so last night was the big match. The finals with South-Africa playing against England.
I went for a drive through town the morning and again later the afternoon, and I promise you every second car either had a flag sticking out of it somewhere, or written on it "Go Bokke!" or "Bring the Cup Home Bokke!". It's ridiculous, frankly, considering that rugby is the type of senseless sport where men chase and kick a ball and suspiciously touch each other's bums...
And, probably every second person where either wearing green (our team's colours are green and gold) or a rugby shirt or you name it.
The street vendors, of course, hit the jackpot. They made sure to get enough springbok memorabilia stock, and man, I'm sure they made a hell of a lot of money yesterday.
Everybody got together for braais(like BBQ) and the bottle stores where super full, cause how can you watch a match without a beer or brandy in hand?
A couple of our friends also got together to watch the match on a friend's big screen. I spent the evening getting tipsy and smoking and being terribly amused by my intelligent friends who suddenly turned into hooligans. The effect is amazing.
When the team won, it sounded as if it was New Years, just way more noise! People where shouting and s creaming and crackers where going off, people where hooting and clapping and it was just like being in the stadium itself or something. And it went on like that for an hour and a half! If not more.
The country was in ecstasy. South Africa was smiling.
Even I have to say, GO BOKKE! Well done!

I've been trying to do a Thursday thirteen post on the COOLEST topic (which I'm not gonna mention, since I might still be using it some time in future, which is hopefully near) but, if it's not Firefox bombing out the whole time, it's me doing something stupid like erasing more than half the post after it was all nice and finished... How this happens, I do not know. I did, however, try to publish the finished post at one stage, and received an error message : "the required fields can't be left blank". wth? And then the erasing thing happened...How? I still don't know.

I'm gonna get it next week! I can't now. Too tired.. Had another great Salsa class tonight!
