Maybe the opponent was a bad candidate, maybe Scott Brown is and excellent candidate, and maybe just maybe Americans as a whole are rejecting the non-transparency of the Obama administration.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> I tend to think that it is a combination of all 3, but the last one has woken up many politicians today Democrat and Republican alike. Their ass is on the line, and I think it is now more apparent than it has ever been that if you don't listen to the people you will be in the unemployment line. People are not going to stand for backroom bribes for votes see Mary Landrieu from Louisiana and Ben Nelson from Nebraska who both held out their support on healthcare until their states were given 100's of millions in Federal Aid.<br /> <br /> The President swore to have the most open transparent administration and has provided the opposite. No backroom deals, debates on C-Span, bills to be posted online for the public view. Instead the Congressmen and women don't even read the damn bills themselves..they take Federal bribes for their votes...and we are told we have to DO THIS NOW....no time for debate and getting things right.<br /> <br /> I have been very pessimistic on the direction of America during the Bush administration and now in the Obama administration. I often wondered how do the people get the power back? I felt like politicians did whatever the hell they wanted to without concern for what Americans really wanted.
