He Will Bring it to Completion!

If God has birthed a dream in you, you can rest assured that He will complete it. The scripture tells us that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. That means those dreams that have died, the vision that was birthed in you, if it was God ordained it will come to a flourishing finish.

Don’t get discouraged when it looks like things are taking a downward turn. Don’t lose hope and think that your purpose is null and void. No, what God has purposed for your life will be brought to completion. You will come into your destiny!

Even when doors close in your faith, when it looks like you’ve exhausted all your resources and all you’re getting are bad breaks, realize God has the final say. God can not be stopped by a bad break.

Maybe the critics have given you a bad report. They said, “you’re not fit for the job.” Their report says, “you don’t have what it takes to go on to the end.” Don’t lose faith. Don’t get in despair. The fate of your destiny isn’t dependent on a critic or naysayer. No, almighty God spoke the world into existence. What He speaks over your life will be!

So get excited about purpose! You are not all used up. You are a vessel full of power destined for greatness! God has instilled seeds of greatness in you. He will complete His good work in you and bring you into a flourishing finish as you charge forth on your journey of life!

The Promises Will Come to Pass

The scripture tells us God is not a man that He should lie, whatever He promises will come to pass. Throughout the scriptures there are many promises. God has promises of an expected end. He’s given you a hope and a future.

But many have yet to experience the promises. Many have yet to experience the abundant life, the hope and the joy. But continue to be of good courage. Continue to put your hope and trust in God. Just like the scripture says, God can not lie. Whatever He promised will come to fulfillment.

When you wake up everyday, live in expectation that something good is going to happen. Look for the “suddenly moments;” those moments that can take a sudden turn around.

Suddenly you’ll get well. Suddenly your finances will come together. Suddenly a door of opportunity will open. If you’ll continue to stand on the promises of God and don’t lose hope, you’ll experience the suddenly moments.

Maybe you’ve experienced betrayal. A friend left you high and dry. God has promises of better relationships in your future. People will come into the picture who will be near and dear to you. Look for the promises to come to pass.

God has your best interests at heart. He sees the end from the beginning. His word promises that your best days are still out in front of you. You have yet to come into God’s best for you. So live in hope and expectation that the promises will come to pass. You will experience greater joys, a greater peace and greater victories as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Perfect Peace with a Mind Stayed on Him

Many people have their mind stayed on a lot of things. Daily our minds are stayed on the newspaper headlines. Many have their minds stayed on the gossip column of the magazines. Many even have their minds stayed on the latest reality shows.

And if we’re not careful and we allow our minds get too focused on these things for too long, it will steal our peace. It will steal our joy. If we’re going to come into the perfect peace that God has for us, we’re going to have to keep our minds stayed on Him.

I love what Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Notice, the scripture says perfect peace. It doesn’t say a quarter peace, it doesn’t say a half way peace, it doesn’t even say three-quarters peace. No, it says a perfect peace.

I would imagine that in the stress of the world today, for some, even a half way peace would suffice. For the sleepless, a half peaceful rest at night would do. But the scripture doesn’t say partial peace, it says perfect peace. That’s even better. And then the scripture says to trust Him.

That means when you get a bad report from the doctor, instead of focusing your mind on the statistics of many other people who died from the disease, focus your mind on God. Trust in Him. He’ll put you in perfect peace.

If a friend betrays you, instead of putting your mind on the latest Facebook update, put your mind on Him. He’ll put you in perfect peace.

I’m not saying to live a non-existent life. There’s a time for everything. I’m all for staying up-to-date on the latest news headline. I celebrate social media. But while you’re checking your Facebook account, be sure to stop by and check your peace account. Make sure your peace account is in “perfect” standings.

Just remember, as long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, He walked on the water. When Peter took his eyes off Christ, and began looking at the boisterous winds and waves, the scripture says that’s when he began to sink.

When things start to take a turn for the worse, instead of looking around you at everything that’s going wrong or what the gossip report says, look at what the God report says. When you do so He’ll keep you in perfect peace as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Reason for this Season

For every season that you pass through in life there is a reason. You may be in a season of expectation; waiting on the promises to come to pass, it could be God’s way of pruning you. He’s shaping and molding you for the next season of increase and promotion.

When you come into a harvest season, it could be because you’ve worked hard and toiled, and you’re finally seeing the fruits of your labor. Maybe you’re in a season where you’ve lost your strength or you got an unexpected illness, it could be God’s way of preparing you for a greater season; a season when you will prosper even as your soul prospers.

And we can get restless in the down seasons. We can get impatient and question God, or we can live in expectancy with a good attitude while waiting on the promises to come to pass.

The scripture says that God is not a man that He would lie, whatever He promises is going to come to pass. And you can get discouraged and complain or you can trust God that He has your steps ordered. You can trust that He knows the end from the beginning.

Remember, God can’t be stopped by a bad break. God will allow the bad breaks to come as a setup for the good breaks. Just remember when you’re down to nothing, God is up to something.

When you’re in a down season, know God is behind the scenes working to bring the promises to pass. If you’ll be strong and of good courage and wait with expectancy, in due season God will bring you into your harvest of blessing as you charge forth on your journey of life!

In It’s Time

The scripture says there’s a time for everything under sun. It goes on to give a few examples: A time to born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to uproot. A time to laugh and a time to cry. A time to build up and a time to tear down.

And just like the four seasons of the year have their own significance, there are seasons in your life that are there to serve a purpose too. It’s like a farmer who plants crops. These crops have to go through a season before they’re ready to be harvested or uprooted.

In your own life, certain things will happen in their own time. You may go through a season of great joy. Everything in your life is happening just the way you want it. People around you are friendly to you. Situations are going in your favor.

Then their will be seasons that are there to serve a purpose, they might test you. In these seasons you may find that people are not so good to you. A friend might betray you. Life situations may take a turn for the worse. An illness sets in.

And who is to say why God allow somethings to happen. But you can trust that these things are happening in their time. It other words God was methodical. He planned this season for a reason. It could be to strengthen you or teach you a lesson.

Don’t despise the down seasons. Just like the scripture says, there’s a time to laugh and a time to cry. You may experience seasons when your laughter is gone and you have every reason to cry. But just remember Psalm 30:5 says, “weeping may endure for a night but your joy comes in the morning.”

Notice what the scripture says, it says “weeping may endure for a night…” In other words, there is a set time for your weeping. But be encouraged because your joy will come in it’s own time. Things will start to look up. You’ll get your smile back. You’ll get your laughter back.

Be encouraged to know that the seasons are here to benefit you. Keep doing your good work. If you do so, you’ll reap a harvest of blessing, in it’s own time as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Blessings All Around You

Everyday when you wake up a miracle happens. The simple fact that you’re living and breathing is a blessing. And too often, we grow immune to the blessings of God. We over look the little things while looking for bigger and better blessings.

And I’m not saying to stop expecting bigger blessings. I’m not saying to limit the desires of your heart. God is all powerful, He can do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ask or think. What I’m saying is to appreciate your current blessings while more blessings are on the way.

All around you are blessings. Even in the advancement of today’s technology, we have more at our fingertips than ever before. To communicate a message to someone far away can be done at the touch of a button. Years ago people had to send telegrams. They had to walk miles and miles just to communicate a message.

Even in nature, God has blessed us with natural resources. Our crops have a huge impact on our food supply. The water in the streams provide electricity. Even the car that you drive is a blessing. There was a time when people had to saddle up a donkey for transportation.

Even in your health, if you’re fortunate to walk, to be in good health and to function on your own, count this as a blessing. Somewhere is a person who is not in good health; A paraplegic who would love the opportunity to walk. Out there is a person who has lost sense of logic and ability to reason.

Look for the blessings around you today. And thank God in advance for the great blessings that are in store. I do believe God is moved by a grateful heart. And in just the right time abundant blessings will chase you down and overtake you. You will come into your great harvest of blessings as you charge forth on your journey of life!

When Opposition Arises

In life, it’s easy to do what we know is right as long as things are going our way. It’s easy to be kind to others and to be salt and light as long as they’re in our good grace.

But what happens when opposition arises? What happens when situations are not in our favor? What happens when we become at odds with other people?

The true test to life is not only when you can do what’s right and good but when you can do it under pressure. It’s when you can sustain the opposition in life and keep doing the right thing.

Who we are comes out once pressure is applied. When the tough gets going, that’s not a time to bail out. That’s a time to stay in faith.

If you’re going to come into God’s best then keep doing what’s right in the good times as well as the difficult times. Keep a good attitude when opposition arises.

When life circumstances get difficult, let that serve as an opportunity to remain in good faith. Let your declaration be, “I know God is in control. He can’t be stopped by a bad break so I’m going to stay in faith and do what is right and good.”

When people come to test you and rub you the wrong way, don’t let it take your joy away. Don’t let it steal your peace. No, keep smiling. Keep shining your light. Realize this is just opposition.

If you’ll do your best to press through the opposition God will strengthen you. It will become easier to rise above it. And you’ll experience God’s divine increase and promotion as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Pass the Tests

All throughout life, you’re put to the test. Even back in grade school you were tested. When the teacher assigned a test, it wasn’t to be a pest. It wasn’t to inconvenience you and put you at an uncomfortable disadvantage. No, when the teacher assigned a test it was to prove if you were ready for the next lesson.

Notice what I said, the test was to prove if you were ready for the next lesson. After each lesson comes the test. In other words, there’s no end. You will continue to be tested.

Even after school, you’ll continue to be tested. After college, life is going to throw some difficult challenges. In these challenges there’s no cheating. You can’t copy off someone’s paper. You can’t write the answers down on the back of your hand. No, you have to brave the tests.

When you face these trials in life, count it all joy! They are there to try your faith. If you pass the tests, you will come into the next level. See the tests as an opportunity to show what you’re made of.

When people start talking about you, see it as a test. Don’t get down in the dumps. If people are going to talk, give them something to talk about. Live a life that’s pleasing. Set a positive example. Keep smiling. Keep laughing. Keep showing love. They’ll keep trying to find fault but you keep letting your light shine.

Maybe that business proposal fell through, and you’re tempted to throw in the towel. This is just a test. Work even harder to find other leads. Work harder. Diligently. Show others what you’re made of. Pass the test.

Maybe you were simply in a hurry and it seems like everything that could possibly stop you did. Don’t lose patience. Don’t get stirred up. This may be an opportunity to exercise patience.

Granted, I’m not saying you should neglect responsibility. I’m not saying that you should be indifferent. But could it be that even in the setbacks, God is trying to do a work in you? Could it be that He wants you to go through the setback with a positive attitude? See it as a test; an opportunity to show what you’re made of.

Brave the setbacks with a smile. Let them strengthen you. Let them give you back bone. Just like when you were in grade school, let it be an opportunity to show that you’re ready for the next lesson. When you pass the tests you will be blessed as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Ensnared by the Words of Your Mouth

There is power in the words that you speak. Your words have a great effect over your life. They are going to determine the direction that you go.

And too often we’re speaking words that have no Life; words that will lead us into defeat. “I would learn a new instrument but I don’t have that kind of patience.” “I would go back to school but my mind is too far gone.” “I would exercise and get in shape but it’s too much hard work.”

And in the process we’re causing ourselves a disservice. When you speak words of defeat, making excuses for why you can’t achieve greater, you’re placing limitations on yourself and the almighty God.

Do yourself a favor, stop speaking words that are going to hinder you. Start speaking words of faith that are going to cause you to come up higher. You may not be able to see it. You can’t see yourself overcoming that addiction. You can’t see yourself whole again. That’s okay, start speaking words of life in advance. “I’m thankful that I’m an overcomer; more than a conqueror.” “God causes me to triumph.” “I’m thankful that by his stripes I am healed!”

You see, you’re ensnared by the words of your mouth. It’s like a trap, where your words go you will follow. You may not be where you want to be but if you want to come up higher, start speaking words of life and victory. “God blesses every work of my hands.” “My gift will make room for me and bring me before great people.” “I am chosen and equipped.”

When you speak words of life into the atmosphere a mighty and supernatural change will take place. Unseen miracles will take place. Strongholds will be broken. Bad habits are broken.

Let your words work in your favor and cause you to come into victory not defeat. I do declare that when you speak words of life, you’ll experience the fullness of God’s blessings and favor as you charge forth on your journey of life!

Remove the Negative Labels

Some people are going around with a defeated mindset. They have a distorted view of who they are. And much of this is because of a negative label that has been placed on them.

Maybe you grew up in an abusive household, and you were told that you’d never amount to anything. Maybe you were called names growing up and these titles took root deep down on the inside. Well don’t hold onto the negative labels.

The first place victory starts is in your thinking. If you’re going to come into the victory God has for you, start thinking thoughts of hope and victory. Start seeing yourself as a victor and not a victim. Remove the negative labels.

Maybe a critic or naysayer has given you a bad report. It says you’re subpar. You don’t meet the standard. It says all you’ll ever be is average. You don’t have to believe this. Think on what God’s word says about you. You’re well able. You’re an overcomer. More than a conqueror. Above and not beneath.

If you’re not careful, you’ll let a negative label sabotage you. It will cause you to neglect a good opportunity because of a limited mindset or a false believe of who you are.

Don’t accept defeat. Don’t accept mediocrity. You’re not limited, helpless or incapable. No, start believing that you are a masterpiece. A child of the most high God. A person with no limits. You’re made to be the head and not the tail.

Start believing today that you will come into victory. You are destined for greatness. Remove the negative labels and hold tight to truths that will thrust you into your God-given destiny. When you do so, you’ll experience the fullness and abundance that God has for you as you charge forth on your journey of life!
