Ride were one of Creation Records' first global success stories in the 90s: pioneers of the 'shoegaze' sound, along with bands such as Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, and creators of iconic albums that continue to resonate with fans today, such as "Nowhere" and "Going Blank Again".

Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Laurence 'Loz' Colbert and Steve Queralt started in 1988 and split up in 1996, leaving a legacy of four albums that contain gems such as "Vapour Trail", "Leave Them All Behind", “Birdman” and "Twisterella". After their separation, the quartet came together again in 2001 to record a programme for Channel 4.

Forty years on, this New York artist has decided to celebrate the longevity of her first album with a series of special concerts focused on it, in which she will be accompanied by two of the original members of her band, Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, as well as the bassist Tony Shanahan who has been a member of her band for twenty years.

"Horses" is without a doubt one of the greatest albums of rock history. Produced by John Cale and with the iconic portrait by Robert Mapplethorpe on its sleeve, it anticipated many movements including punk, while on “Horses” the basic and hard-hitting rock fuses with free jazz and experimentation accompanied by overwhelming and powerful lyrics.

Of course her career did not end there. The 9 records that follow her debut album, several books of poetry and her recent memoires, called “Just Kids”, are only part of Patti Smith’s incredible legacy.

In the early morning of Saturday Maria and Terzi will be at Hard Club with an offering that travels through pelo deep, acid house and techno. In the early morning of June 7th, the programming of the After Hours presents Duarte (Temper) and Dj Lynce (Pedro Santos), with intense techno and house sets.

With the goal of improving the festival experience, NOS has prepared a space that favours the little ones’ comfort, at the same time that it facilitates every commodity to the parents. In the NOS space it is possible to store baby prams and pushchairs, rent soundproof headphones to protect babies’ ears or simply rest in a place sheltered from the sun.
