Sure, most of the fans are going to bubbly on the surface, happy to be face to face with some of their idols. Even those that would claim to be openly upset were probably more than happy to let it slide for the day. But you can also bet that some of them let the Flyers know that they aren’t happy with their play as of late, and rightfully so given the effort. I’m sure this wasn’t done in a disrespectful fashion or with great frequency – after all, Philly is known for it’s overall quaintness; but you just KNOW it was on the minds of some of the players and fans. The Leafs actually have something to play for as the season winds down, and they find themselves well within striking distance of this hot-or-not Flyers squad. With a similar style of play, offense has been the root of success for Toronto – so what will the Flyers have to do to get back into the ‘W’ column tonight? After you, sir/madam. Even with Briere, JVR and Jagr out of the picture the Flyers have been playing pretty well as of late, and continuing that effort should be the team’s primary focus tonight. What else will it take for the Flyers to come away with a victory tonight?
