RamCharan has put behind the debacle of Orange and is back to his cheerful best. That, however, doesn’t mean that he has changed his opinions about the movie nor does he mince his words about whom to blame. “Contrary to reports, Orange has done excellent business in urban areas, at par with any hit film. But it didn’t get a similar response from the other centres since fans couldn’t digest me in a role with a touch of ‘grey’,” he says.
“Though the music was sensational, we felt that the narrative could have been tightened up and the director should also be blamed for some other lapses. Doing a new-age romance was a different experience, so no regrets” he adds.
Besides the dodgy narration, doesn’t he think that a light-hearted romance should have been made within a reasonable budget? “Shooting long schedules abroad is a costly affair but the budget went out of hand due to my executive producer. We totally trusted him and paid a heavy price (around Rs 10 crore) for it. So the producer and my uncle had to quote hefty distribution rates since it was like a chain reaction,” he points out. With the film failing to make it at the box office, the actor returned his remuneration to the producer. “That’s the maximum I can do as an actor,” he quips.
Moving away from Orange, we talk about his B-town plans and the actor says nothing is fixed. “No hurry to move to Bollywood in 2011 since I have two big Telugu films on hand and two more in the pipeline,” he explains. His next film Merupu has a sports-centric theme and is slated for release in June. “It’s a tale of a spirited protagonist who counters the plans of the antagonist in a series of soccer matches,” he informs.
Subsequent to two different looks for Magadheera and Orange, the actor is working on yet another new avatar for his next film. “I’ll show some muscles and a toned-body since appropriate looks add dimensions to the character.”
About the on-going Tollywood standoff, he says, “Producers have been discussing about reducing production costs for the last few years but this unforeseen stalemate has made them crack the whip. Actually, I happened to attend a meeting with all other T-town superstars and like me, a couple of other stars were unfairly blamed for going over budget. But this occurs due to inexperienced production units. Even outsiders tend to believe such baseless allegations since they don’t know anybody else in the unit other than the star,” he reasons.
The star is happy that his long-time buddy and actor Allu Arjun is tying the knot on March 6. “It’s high time he settles down and I am planning a special surprise gift for my pal,” he says.
About his own marriage plans he says, “Let Bunny tie the knot, so that I can check out the merits and demerits of getting married with him. then I’ll think about mine,” he smiles.
The actor is also excited about his 10-day road travel to discover South India. “Five of our friends will get into my car and zoom off to all important tourist spots in South and I am looking forward to it,’ he says.

Inspite of strong negative buzz about it, Ramcharan Teja’s Orange has managed to do some good business in the so called A Centers (Urban Centers). It had reportedly collected around Rs. 7 crore in the first week, and continued its good run even in the second week.
So far the movie is said to have collected around Rs. 9 crore in Nizam, and is presently being screened in more than 20 Cinemas in Hyderabad alone. We hear that the movie is running successfully in Bangalore too, in almost 8 cinemas.
Producer of Orange Nagababu had created some sort of shock revealing that the budget of his film had gone too high. However, the collections will give him some reprieve.

As mega fans are more in karnataka region and with the huge big hit of magadhera orange movie released in huge theaters. The movie is running successfully in Bangalore too, in almost 8 cinema halls.The movie creating waves all over andhra also. Orange collection improving day by day

Its quite naturally that most of the creative and slow movies gets negative or divide talk initially. Recently Ramcharan's 'Orange' also faced the same problem. But now the movie picked up slowly and the collections are improving day by day .
As per the sources 'Orange' got Rs. 26 Crores first week gross collections. Apart from this MAA TV bagged the satellite rights of ‘Orange’ movie at a fancy rate of Rs 6.5 crores. The producer and hero are confident that this movie will get another 15 crores by 2nd week. If this is the case Orange will get all the investment with in first two weeks.
The opening collections of this movie are very high. The opening day collections for this movie already reached 20% of gross collections of Magadeera first day collections . The collections of this movie resembled a new blockbuster in Tollywood and Ramcharan's career.But due to positive talk and fresh ness in the movie, collections are slowly picking up.

'Orange' brought a lot of excitement not even in local media but also in the national media. NDTV reported that Ramcharan efforts to be complemented as lover boy. The reason for getting divide talk is a thin storyline which left the audience confused and dazed.

The openings for Orange were great for the first week Overall, in the first week, Orange collected around Rs. 7.00 crore in the first week.

First Many say that the core subject of Orange was suitable for urban areas, and not for other centers. But now after the first week real talk of the movie comes outWith many big movies lined up in the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see how Orange will fare in the long run.

Apart from Ramcharan, Orange it had a big cast including the likes of Genelia, Brahmanandam, Prabhu, Vennela Kishore etc. There was some big names in the crew list too – director Bommarillu Bhaskar, music director Harris Jayaraj, cinematographer B.Rajasekhar etc. etc.

The latest film of Ram Charan ‘Orange’, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Nagababu on the banner of Anjana Productions was released recently.

Though the film earned a divided talk initially, the revenue collections are growing day by day and the film started earning a positive talk now. The director and the hero are confident that the film’s revenue would pick up slowly and their presumption was proved true. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that the MAA TV bagged the satellite rights of ‘Orange’ movie at a fancy rate of Rs 6.5 crores.

Pirated DVDs of ‘Orange’ caught at Dindigal

A bunch of pirated DVDs of ‘Orange’ film, numbering around 34 and other new releases of Telugu films, i.e., around 150 DVDs, were caught recently at Siri Music World in Suranpur village under Dindigal mandal.

These DVDs were found during a search conducted by the anti-piracy cell instituted by the Anjana Productions under the supervision of a retired ACP Md Vazeeruddin and Mahinder. The anti-piracy cell, in association with the members of AP Film Chamber of Commerce anti-piracy cell, led by retired inspector P Sambasiva Rao and retired sub-inspector B. Narasimha, conducted raids following reliable information and handed over S Pavan, owner of Siri Music World to the Dindigal SI Madhusudhan Rao.

Vazeerudding says, ‘The anti-piracy team warned that thorough searches will be carried out in AP, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and action will be taken to book the culprits and a rigorous punishment would be awarded for those who resort to piracy.

Shazahn Padamsee speaking to a news media today, she said that she watched the Orange movie six times in theatre till now in Mumbai!
"First time, I watched it with my friend. Second time with my father. Third time with the ex-classmates. Fourth time with my Bollywood friends. Fifth time with cousins and sixth time with my neighbors" she said!

She also said that she made the Orange songs as her caller tunes and now even her friends are just addicted to the Orange music!
"In Orange my role of small, but I received a lot of praise. I would like to act in a full fledged role if given a chance" she said.

Orange Black Tickets Hungama At Vijayawada

Mega Power Star Ram Charan got huge opening power and it has been clearly observed on Orange's first day. If we take the case of Vijayawada, the movie has been released in 17 theaters in the city and in all the theaters the crowd was jam-packed.

Black tickets were sold like hot cakes and the fans were ready to spend any amount to buy the tickets to watch the movie on the first day. At one moment, the black ticket price for the morning show was raised up to Rs.5000 at Alankar Theater.

On the contrary, the situation seems not so good at Hyderabad where the movie was expected to run with crowds as the movie was actually targeted for 'A' center audiences. When we checked it on Friday night, Prasads tickets for Sunday shows are available. Even as of now on Saturday afternoon, there are some tickets available for the Sunday 10PM show.

yesterday morning, the Orange movie was screened all over the state.
But there were some hurdles for the movie like in Ongole where the joint collector stopped the screening of the movie as some theatres screened the movie for the early morning show despite not having permission.
By evening the problem was resolved. However the PRP leaders and the fans of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan allege that since the theatre owners are close to the Praja Rajyam Party, the local MLA, Balineni Srinivas Reddy stopped the film from getting screened.

1.firstly i did orange because i didn't want to become a routine actor.
2.i needed a different story after i did magadheera. i dint want an action movie.so i chose to do a pure love story wit genuine intention.

lot of people thought i was mad for doing a movie like orange when i started shooting.they also thought i was moving away from masses.
but thats Not True.i was trying to get close to all the section of the society.personally i believe 1 movie can not satisfy all sections’
3.my fav scene is the break up scene wit rooba…i really felt it when baskhar narrated the scene to me.

Story : Ram (Ramcharan) lives in Sydney city, australia as a graffiti artist with his sister sister Manjula and brother-in-law Sanjay Swaroop. He sees Janaki (Genelia), who is a student in sydney and feels love for her. Song 1 : Syndey Nagaram starts with cool steps and Ram tries to get closer to Janaki. Ram has fixed opinions about love and he believes that one person’s heart can love any number of persons and need not stick to only one person. Janaki /Janu has opposite opinions and she believes in commitments in love. Ram reveals to Janu that he already fell in love 9 times in past. Nagababu’s character deals with Ram and his work. Madhurima plays a small guest role and second song Nenu Nuvvantu completes. The much awaited sky diving scene is shown before third song Hello Rammante song. Brahmanandam, ‘Vennela’ Kishore, Avasarala Srinivas generate some comedy with movie’s main theme being injected slowly. First half ends on positive note with lots of good visuals, styling, comedy, one fight with spray paints and some romance.

Second half opens with a scene trying to convince the plot of the movie. Game of ‘Truth or Dare’ is used to explain the main idea of the movie which gets good response. Fourth song O Range Love idi O Baby is shot in a pub with dancer and Charan. Prakashraj is a cop is australia who enquires Ram about his flashback as a part of informal interrogation. Shazahn Padamsee is shown in flashback episode which runs in hyderabad and mumbai. Fifth song Rooba Rooba is well shot on Charan and Shazahn.
Flashback ends with a twist and movie returns to sydney. Sixth song Chilipga chustavalaa is shot in cool locations with montage shots where director tries to show hero realising what true love is and is after heroine.
Movie ends after a train fight.

In the end , Ram realises that throughout his journey of love he realised what actually love is and how to deal with it.

Analysis : Director Bhaskar picked up a novel idea to show his lead character believing that love can happen multiple times and his contrast is heroine, who believes in one love per lifetime. In the end he tries to show how hero gets convinced. Many elements from current generation love stories are used in this script and most of youth can connect to those scenes. Ramcharan comes up with an entirely new look than his earlier movies and rocks in dances and fights.

He succesfully breaks the image barrier of Magadheera. Genelia tries to look younger but her character doesn’t create much impression. Shazahn Padamsee looks cute in her small flashback episode which had a song with Charan. She has potential to take lead roles in south movies soon. She would have done more justice than genelia to lead role here. Prabhu as Janu’s father and Prakashraj as police in sydney are wasted with most screen presence taken by lead roles themselves. Brahmanandam, Srinivasa Avasarala and ‘Vennela’ Kishore provoke good enough laughter in 1st half.

Cinematography is of good quality and background score of Harris Jayaraj creates right mood for each scene.Overall a good attempt by Bhaskar and team which has something for current generation love birds, though he doesnt explain or convince on many points. Watch it for ‘love’ feel, Charan’s style, cool music and visuals and clean comedy.

Orange movie released in telugu with great expectations and heavy openings. Movie tickets are booked in advance for first weekend and it is expected to break all previous records for openings of any movie.
Now Ramcharan has confirmed that ORANGE movie’s tamil dubbed version will be ready and release in january 2011. Already his Magadheera is ready to release soon in tamil.
Now with Orange, charan is expected to grow his market in entire south india.

Ramcharan saw preview of Orange movie along with his family last night and tweeted that, it is the most honest, fresh and true love story ever made till now. He liked genelia’s look, brahmanandam’s comedy and songs.
Charan left the rest of the story for fans to analyze. Chiranjeevi could not watch premier show due to political appointments. Movie preview has started in few centers and Review will be updated in couple of hours.

Brief Story : Ram (Ram Charan) plays a graffiti artist who doesn’t believe in one love with one person. He feels love can happen anytime, anywhere with any number of persons. When he meets Janaki (genelia) in sydney, he finds her to have contrast opinions about love. How janaki makes Ram realise what true love is.. is rest of the story. So far movie has been getting good response for its novel theme and stylish presentation.
