We managed to see on the course many great riders including Mary King, Zara Phillips, Mark Todd, Daisy Berkeley (nee Dick) and of course this year’s deserved winner Paul Tapner. We were disappointed for Mary King who would have been the oldest winner the event has had in all the years it has been running, however a very respectable 4^th place for her. We also take this opportunity to offer our condolences to Louisa Lockwood for the loss of her event horse Desert Island on Sunday with a broken fetlock, a truly special horse that will be greatly missed in the sport.
