If you have been living an always-internet-connected life and constantly juggle between emails, social sites and smart phones, here’s a new illustrated book – Goodnight iPad – that might inspire you to turn off those gizmos and go to sleep.

This reminds me of the campaign “Day to Disconnect” that encourages people to unplug their gadgets on a particular day and connect with real people.

There’s another popular bedtime book for adults – Go the F* to Sleep – that has topped the best-sellers list of both Amazon and The New York Times. The book does seem to have an innocent cover page but, as seen in the sample pages, it is strictly for grown-ups.

Well if you are addicted to digital life, then i would suggest to switch for a while and think about life. You should allot some time for yourself away from digital life daily. You can even use some software to block internet on your computer and smart phones for a particular time in the day. What’s you views?

As longtime Twitter addicts know, there’s little that people love to tweet about more than Twitter itself.

HootSuite, maker of an awesome social media tool, offered us a compiled list of top 15 brands on Twitter. The result: Twitter itself topped the list.

HootSuite’s index isn’t based on followers, but on the amount of time the brand spent in the top 10 trending topics and its rank on that list.

The rest of the list features names you would probably expect to see — Google, Facebook and Apple. McDonald’s is the first non-tech brand at number five. Nissan, Walmart, Nike and News Corp. are the only other brands on the list that aren’t primarily tech-based.

As noted, the list tracks mentions on Twitter, not followers. If you were to go by that measure, YouTube is the biggest brand on Twitter with 8.4 million followers vs. Twitter’s 7.3 million. On Twitter, it seems, some things can be bigger than Twitter.

Youtube just released it’s top ten most viewed videos of 2011. And If you watched a YouTube video this year, you contributed to YouTube surpassing 1 trillion views in 2011. That’s about 140 views for every person on the earth. More than twice as many stars as in the Milky Way.

Anyway’s Kevin Allocca, YouTube Trends Manager, said in a blog post “2011 was a year of amazing new channels and new stars being discovered, awesome creativity, and of course, Rebecca Black.”. Hey Wait, who is Rebecca Black? Well she is an American pop singer. Watch her in the youtube’s Rewind 2011 below.

But who the hell will login on every user account & empty recycle bin? In the worst case every user has a password protected account! Here comes the magic!

How To Empty the Recycle Bin

1. Go to the command promt (Start> Run> Type cmd >Hit enter).
2. Type the following command :
   For Windows 7 and Server 2008 computers -
   • rd /s c:\$Recycle.Bin

   For Windows XP,Vista and Server 2003 editions -

• rd /s c:\recycler
3. You will be asked for confirmation. Enter the appropriate and hit enter.

If you’ve got multiple computer at your desk, you would probably want to use a single mouse & keyboard without using any external hardware device. Well Microsoft has come up with a great solution, Mouse Without Borders, With a software with which you can use a single mouse & computer for multiple computers.

Mouse Without Borders

The Microsoft Application lets you connect two computer with using Internet. After installing the application, you will get a screen like this : 

If you are installing on the first computer, click No. You will be shown the next screen.

This generates a security code for the computer, that you will require on your second computer.

Now install this application on your second computer, and enter the above details on the second one.

You are done now, you can now use a single mouse and keyboard for multiple computers, & even drag & drop files between different computers!

Currently this application works only on Windows Operating Systems, so this is the only demerit of this right now. Rest this works pretty good, until & unless you have an internet connection!
