Yesterday shoot was… for lack of better term well… interesting. Everything that could go wrong went wrong, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any worst, shit got worst – excuse my French. I was caught in this sort of “cercle vicieux”. But thankfully, we were able to pull it through and came out with what I believe to be my best work to date. So I present to you Adriana starring in my Cercle Vicieux.

"How many times have I sat down and by passed angels on earth.." What a cheesy way to start a blog with that statement. I guess first you are asking who is this girl he keeps shooting. Well everyone her name is Chelsey and she is a young college student who is studying forensic science at Mount Olive College. Walking through the mall I spotted her and her mom at Urban Outfitters and politely told her I admired her look. Two weeks after the encounter we shooting. This happens to be our second shoot together.. It was her first time but seems like she's been doing it longer. I am really proud of her hard work, her great personality, and dedication in all the trouble I have put her. She has grown in the past two shoots. I thank my stylist Yves Tambashe and Chelsey's mom Mrs. Iris with who happens to be a great makeup artist.

The concept for the shoot was I can see your Halo's. I leave it to your own interpretations..

Model Mayhem is a powerful tool. That's where I contacted Ajang Majok, She is a student at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte. One thing I love about her look it remind me of Alek Wek. Her skin color is dark and smooth, and remind me the beauty of Africa. She is a beauty to work with, She knows how to pose naturally, she know where the camera is at all time, and her expression are not forced. You can tell she knows herself and is very confident at it. She is definitely my model of choice of the month. Representing Africa and Africans alike. Right from Sudan.
