Growing up meh never really liked coleslaw. da thang wasn’t until meh started working in restaurants dat meh tried da thang. Now meh thoroughly enjoy da thang! In muh ma fuckin opinion KFC haz da bomb commercially available coleslaw anywhere. Now ya can make da thang at home too. in da hizzle iz da recipe. just like mammy.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Cole Slaw

Serves 8

Ingredients

8 cups finely diced cabbage ('bout 1 head)
1/4 cup diced carrots (finely)
2 tablespoons minced onions
Dressing:
1/3 cup granulated suga
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon peppa
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinega
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

How to make it

Cabbage an' carrots gots'ta be finely diced.
Pour cabbage an' carrot mixture into large bowl an' stir in minced onions.
Prepare duh dressing, mix until smoof an' creamy.
Pour ova Slaw an' mix thoroughly.
Cova bowl an' refrigerate several hours o' overnight befo' serving.

Killer agrees to plead guilty.. in exchange for bucket of fried chicken

GUN killer Tremayne Durham gave up his right to trial - for a bucket of fried chicken.
Durham, 33, had been preparing to go to trial for murdering a man over a business deal worth £9000.
But after two years in a US county jail on prison food, he agreed to admit his guilt in return for two junkfood feasts.
Durham, from New York, got the first - a mix of food from KFC and rival food chain Popeyes, including chicken, potatoes, coleslaw, cake and ice cream - when he signed his plea deal.
After he was told he must serve at least 30 years before parole, he tucked into his second course.
Durham, a convicted rapist who could have faced the death penalty if he'd been found guilty at a trial, this time had pizza, lasagne and ice cream, according to his lawyer Richard Wolf.
Durham also got married on Wednesday at the courthouse in Portland, Oregon, before his sentencing.
His bride Vanessa Davis, 48, is on parole for witness tampering in the case.
Wolf described the civil ceremony as "bitter-sweet".
Prosecutor Josh Lamborn said he did not advocate chicken-dinner deals.
But he applauded Judge Eric Bergstrom's decision to allow the deal in the case of Durham, who also gave up his right to appeal.
The killer travelled across America to seek revenge when he tried to back out of a deal to buy an ice-cream van from an Oregon firm and they refused to return his money.
He killed Adam Calbreath, a former employee of the company, while looking for the owner, Rob Chambers.
Don Hons, a friend of Adam, said he was glad that the judge made the deal to ensure Durham was locked up for life.
He added: "If a couple of buckets of chicken are going to help to get a conviction, get some biscuits to go with it."

Southern Fried Chicken

Serves:: 4 servings

Ingredients

3 eggs
1/3 cup water
About 1 cup hot red pepper sauce (recommended: Texas Pete)
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon pepper
House seasoning, recipe follows
1 (1 to 2 1/2-pound) chicken, cut into pieces
Oil, for frying, preferably peanut oil

Directions

In a medium size bowl, beat the eggs with the water. Add enough hot sauce so the
egg mixture is bright orange. In another bowl, combine the flour and pepper. Season the chicken with the house
seasoning. Dip the seasoned chicken in the egg, and then coat well in the flour mixture.

Heat the oil to 350 degrees F in a deep pot. Do not fill the pot more than 1/2 full with oil.
