I've officially moved my blog :D I've imported all the content in this blog to the new one, but I'm not going to delete the ones here, in case people are linking to them. I was growing tired of using Blogspot... I get comments delivered, but not all the time... it's annoying when I could only reply to comments weeks or months after it's left, just because I wasn't aware it's there... with Wordpress at least it's all neatly accessible from the dashboard. A while back I remembered someone on the Forum linked to otome games on DLSite... and today I was rather bored so I decided to try to find them (and see if DLSite actually has a functional search function or not). Was browsing when I found this list of English otome games. While most of the games there I've known the existence of, I saw at least 2 which I didn't know and which looked interesting: Spirited HeartHeileenAm particularly interested in Spirited Heart, but am not sure if it's good... I mean, the art is good, but what about the dokidoki factor...?

If you're looking for a good doujin game in English, I recommend you to try true remembrance. The game was translated from Japanese as part of the al|together event (for information on what it is, the About Page should answer all of your question). The latest one held was in 2008. Liar-soft has a new game coming out on the 21st this month, titled Shikkoku no Sharnoth ~What a Beautiful Tomorrow~. It's the third game in their Beautiful series, although the storylines or settings aren't related to each other. It's not an otome game either and is an eroge (despite the female main character)... so actually it should be posted in the other blog and not this one (I did make a mini-post). So... is the game worth it? Definitely :D ...to me, anyways. I really enjoyed the game, and I found that playing the game without knowing what would happen in the story was rewarding. And thus, I won't post anything about the story itself, or what happens in each character's route. I'll leave it as a joy for you to discover on your own. Story I like the story. After I got my copy, I pretty much sacrificed my weekend (and sleep) playing the game. Encountered "Game Over" the first time around, and did better the second time around. I think I understand enough to make a post about the gameplay. I couldn't find any guide or walkthrough on the net, so what's written here is pretty much what I managed to figure out on my own. I've collected my copy last weekend, and I've started playing... so I thought I'd post the story preview and characters profile. If you're ever looking for a short flash game that can be played on PC (maybe when you're bored at work/in class), can I recommend Flow? It's simple and won't take you ages to learn how to play. You'll also get to see your critter grow and evolve, which is awesome. The picture below is my critter after I ate everything on every level (for the Flash game). ...well... might have missed a few, actually. And if you like the game, there's an offline mode (around 8MB) which you can download and play...

MoshiKimi + PuriPani = review

Finished playing all routes in Moshimo no Kimi to Boku and some of Prince Panic, and I have to say that they're excellent otome doujin games. MoshiKimi is one of those games where you need to play all the character routes and the secret character route to understand the whole storyline. Each character's route will give you a piece of clue to the major secret in the game, and it's not until you play the final route (Klaus) that it will reveal everything that happened and give you the True...

Princess Concerto - "Unmei no Dear"

When I last posted about Princess Concerto, I mentioned that it had a nice opening song. After posting that post, suddenly I felt like listening to the song again... found a video on YouTube (embedded below) which has the full version of the song, even if the graphic quality isn't very good. But good enough, I think, to quench my longing to hear the song. Also, Alfred is one of the cutest main character in a non-otome game I've seen for a long time (*^__^* ) I really like his clothes' design...
