Fashion Forward – Fabulous Bridal Fashion Shows!
Our Fashion Shows feature fashions for the entire bridal party. Fashion Shows are at 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM on both days.

The bridal fashion shows produced by All That Glitters Bridal are recognized as among the best bridal shows in Eastern Canada and are not to be missed.

Gown Area
Every show features a Boutique Gown Area hosted by local bridal shops. Show visitors have an opportunity to buy bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, cocktail dresses, accessories and more.

If you have already chosen to get married in the winter, you are probably thinking of a winter themed wedding. The color palettes for a winter wedding lean more toward bright whites, deep reds or mauves, with silver or gold accents. We will guide you through the floral elements that will dramatically contribute to your wedding-day style.

How to choose your flowers? The wedding flowers add a magical touch to your day, so you will probably spend considerable time looking for creative and affordable ideas to capture your vision.

Choose your winter flowers from the many available options including imported (hydrangeas, calla lilies, roses, tulips) or seasonal blooms like velvety amaryllis blossoms (which make a striking table centerpiece), ranunculus, heather, poinsettias, jasmine or wax flower. For a snowy wedding, complement the flowers with natural elements like pine cones, holly berries, winter cherry or hypericum berries. For a touch of green use foliage such as fir, ivy and holly (holly berries are poisonous, so be careful), red and yellow dogwood stems to add color to your arrangements or furry pussy willow stems for a remarkable centerpiece.

Fresh or silk? Silk flowers look deceptively real and you can have any flower any time of the year. They will last the entire ceremony (with or without outdoor pictures). You can preserve them for many years to come. However, fresh flowers leave a gentle and unique scent in the air.
On your wedding day, if you opted for fresh flowers, keep the bouquets in water as long as possible. For the outdoor photo session it might be useful to have a silk bouquet duplicate or take the pictures after the ceremony, when you will no longer need your frozen bouquets. Also useful would be another set of bouquets and boutonnières if you want your bridesmaids and groomsmen to wear them throughout the day.

White wedding or red wedding!

Some would say that the ceremony is the most important part of your wedding, the very purpose of the day. So give the ceremony the importance it deserves, decorate and personalize it in your own style and as much as the ceremony location will allow: altar arrangements, pews, flower-girl basket, petals, etc.

Welcome your guests when entering the church with a dark green holiday wreath. Choose curly willow branches decorated with glistening frozen crystals and white dendrobium orchids for an icy effect on the pews. For a more Christmassy look, use red flowers and evergreens.

Bridal bouquet

Jewel pins, silver drops or crystal accessories (Swarovski figurines for the pickiest bride) inserted here and there, transform a classic white bouquet into a glamorous icy display. Add a drifting silver ribbon around the stems and boost up a simple white rose bouquet. For a romantic approach, choose a snowflake round hydrangea bouquet, while a daring bride would mix black feathers among white roses and black calla lilies.

If classic white is not for you, deep red could fit your more extravagant taste. A tightly wrapped burst of red roses with matching red hypericum berries would make a striking statement with your white dress. A full arrangement of red roses paired with some evergreens is a classic cascade bouquet. White stephanotis (jasmine) pop against the red background of the roses for a lighter look.

Wedding venue

There’s nothing like classic white to depict a wedding fairytale! Tall arrangements of hydrangea and roses with crystals inside the glass vase and candles on the table add a romantic touch.

Create the wow factor with a lush arrangement of red roses paired with red orchids and complemented by coffee beans will add hits of contrast to the white setting. For a more Christmassy look opt for red and green arrangements with lots of petals on the tables.
