Babeland Review: Sensuous Soak Kit

I recently had the privilege of trying out the Sensuous Soak kit for Babeland and all I can say is, Wow! I really loved everything about this kit but it seems to no longer be available at Babeland. That’s such a shame too because it really was an impressive kit!

The first thing I noticed about the Sensuous Soak kit was that it was all neatly packaged inside of a pink Babeland gift bag. I’m actually surprised that all of the contents were able to fit inside so well but it is definitely a cute package perfect for gifting! Anyone would love to receive it! I know that I personally would welcome a gift like this on any day, for any occasion, so hopefully they be restocking it soon!

I’m going to go over each individual item for you and you’ll be amazed at how many fabulous items are crammed in there! Each of the following items is included in the Senuous Soak kit to make for a wonderfully relaxing escape any day of the week!

1. Babeland’s own bubble bath! It’s scent is called, “Afternoon Delight” which I found to have a light, pleasant scent that is gender neutral. I asked my husband what his feelings were on the scent and he said that it just smelled clean. He wasn’t turned off by it at all and it didn’t smell like a bouquet of flowers. Either way, I doubt that anyone will find the scent offensive and I liked it!

We thought the bubbles foamed really well to provide us with a nice and thick, long lasting bubble bath. They lasted probably around 30-45 minutes which was long enough for us to do what we needed to do in the tub. They were still present after 30-45 minutes, just not as thick as before. We were done at that point and ready to get out though.

The ingredients for Babeland’s bubble bath are printed on the 250 ml. bottle and they are as follows:

Purified water (agua), sodium laureth sulfate, cocamide, MEA, cocamidoproyl betaine, sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, shea butter, fragrance, DMDM hydantoin, FD&C Yellow #5, and FD&C Blue #1.

2. The personal vibrating foam sponge by Body Spa was also fantastic! We found it to be a quality sponge that lathered easily and really enhanced our bath time fun. Not only did it relax our muscles when we used it on each others neck and shoulders but it also aroused our other senses when used elsewhere. It was definitely a wonderful bonus that not only helped us relax but also helped us to get in the mood!

When our playtime was over, I decided to try and locate the vibrator inside the sponge. I did this in an attempt to let you all know if this sponge is a one time use job or if it is reusable. What I found was that there is a very small hole/canal that you can access the bullet vibe through. You can, with some careful effort, remove this bullet from the sponge. It is a very shiny, silver colored plastic bullet that has an O-ring around it’s battery cap. Ours did not leak at all and the watch batteries are easily changed to use it again! Putting the bullet back inside of the sponge was much easier for me than taking it out. I’m just glad that it isn’t a throw away item!

3. The Jimmyjane Afterglow massage candle in cucumber water scent was amazing! This candle is just beautiful and it smells good too! It comes in a box to protect it and the first thing you notice when you lift the flap of the cardboard are the words, “Melt Me”. Further unfolding of the box allows you to access the manual which has instructions in English, French, Spanish, German and Dutch.

Under the manual, there is a fabulous box of matches so your sure to be able to light your new candle anywhere! There are a lot of matches in this box and it will, more than likely, outlive the candle itself. I’m still amazed!

Finally, you’ll be able to remove your candle as well as the included brush that will allow you to spread melted wax all over your lover. Of course, you’ll have to burn the candle for about 30 minutes or so beforehand or you’re just not going to be able to get any massage oil out. Sorry but that’s just the way it is.

4. Last but not at all least, we have a waterproof (Yes, waterproof!) book called, “Aqua erotica.” It’s got 18 wonderful stories and about 204 pages so you’re sure to have something to do in the tub even if your lover isn’t home. It’s well written by several different authors but it’s edited by Mary Anne Mohanraj. It’s a great read and most of, if not all of the stories, involve some sort of water so it’s especially great for those who have a water fetish!

I know what you’re thinking about a water proof book too. No, this is not a waterproof book like toddlers take into the bathtub. It’s much more advanced than that, I promise! The cover and pages actually feel very similar to a regular paper back book, just not quite as papery. You can even tear the pages if you’re trying to make a point for your readers to let them know how similar they are to actual pages. You can really get it wet without damaging it too! Yes, I tried to drown mine for you but I simply toweled it off before leaving it open to thoroughly dry in a well ventilated area and it’s now just fine. It’s actually pretty amazing and I think they should make more books like this for those nights that I’m reading and snacking at the same time. That way I can just wipe them off when I miss my mouth because I’m not watching what I’m doing.

So, yeah, this is a fantastic kit and I loved all of it’s components. Not only did the candle help set the mood for the bubble bath but it also provided a nice melted wax massage afterwards. The bubbles, vibrating sponge and book were a sinful indulgence that I’m glad I was able to share with my lover too. It was a perfect escape to an isolated place where we could both relax, even if it was just our bathroom! It was truly a wonderful evening.

A relationship confession

It's been hot here for days and I'm starting to feel as though I simply can't take it anymore. It's not supposed to be like this already! For crying out loud, it isn't August! Where did these 90-100 degree days come from?! UGH!

These hot days pose so many problems for me that you have no idea! I'm now stuck in this house with three kids because it's too hot outside for me to feel comfortable sending them outside for awhile. This leads to all three kids fighting, all three kids wanting to take over my big HDTV for their games, all three kids fighting over the TV I have granted them permission to play their games on, all three kids complaining that they're bored and all three kids wanting to go to their Grandma's house. Now, I have no problem with them going to their Grandma's house mind you! In fact, I really enjoy it but before you get the wrong idea here, I love my kids like nobodies business! I just need breaks from them sometimes or nothing ever gets done! As a matter of fact, I'd probably shrivel up into a mumbling ball of insanity if I didn't get breaks from them once in awhile!

I have to admit that these hot days have taught me a few things about my relationship. I know that sounds odd but you have to hear me out first! Through my attempts to get him riled up at me, I realized that he's better at relationships than I am! How is that possible?! Well, it's actually kind of simple when you think about it. First of all, unlike me, he lets things go very easily. I mean, I could stand there and list a hundred things that I don't like about him but they all just roll of his back......well, usually. I mean, we all have our exceptions, right? Anyway, I could say anything and he simply won't argue with me. I can tell him what a dick he's being and he'll simply say, "Yeah, but you love me anyway." What kind of an argument starter is that?

The next thing I noticed about him was that he knows how to keep things exciting. You know how when you're just starting out in a relationship and everything is new and full of sexual tension? Well, after awhile that tends to wear off and things may become a bit predictable or even boring. He knows how to get around this though! He knows how to set up date nights and take me out to dinner without even knowing what is going on until I'm sitting down at a table somewhere. He's also fantastic about bringing home flowers to surprise me with. It's the little things like that and speaking of the little things, he'll even hug me and tell me how beautiful I am even after I've been working in the vegetable garden. I can be covered in dirt and sweat from my head to my toes and he'll still grab me and love on me! Wow, right?

Another wonderful thing about him is that he knows how to love me. That may sound weird but we all need love in different ways whether that be confessions of love or through actions like hugs and strokes. We're all different in that respect but he KNOWS how to love ME and I love that about him. He also never goes to long throughout the day without flirting with me. There's nothing like flirting to make me feel sexy and wanted!

What all of this boils down to though is that he's better at this than I am. I'm willing to admit this right now but I probably won't later. I suck at relationships for the most part but he doesn't. I don't feel like he should be the only one working on these things though and I should really step up to the plate but damn it! I fucking LOVE the make-up sex! How am I ever going to get any make-up sex if I can't get him to argue with me! I crave that raw attraction when everything you've been holding onto suddenly lets go and you just go at it! Yeah, that's some good stuff right there! Maybe that's my contribution though.....who knows?

Babeland Review: The Angel

The Angel, by Fun Factory, is a travel friendly, compact vibe with an overall length of about 5 ½" but due to the battery cap on the bottom, and the control buttons on the base of the shaft, only 4" are insertable. Of course that should be ample length for using the curved tip to stimulate your g-spot or clit but it may not be a hit with those who love deep penetration.

The Angel is made from some of the softest silicone I’ve ever felt! It’s so soft that it almost feels like jelly but it’s way more hygienic than jelly could ever dream of being! Silicone is non-porous, phthalate free and sterilizable and that means that you can share this one with a friend or two. Since it does contain vibrating components and controls, your best bet for sterilization is wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution followed by a good rinse. If you aren’t going to share it and only need to clean it for yourself, just wash it off with antibacterial soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner.

Due to the softness and flexibility of the silicone that the Angel is comprised of, I found g-spot stimulation to be more of a tickle rather than a good, strong pressure. I like pressure, so the Angel was a miss for me in that respect but others may find the teasing to be more pleasant than I did. It was just so close to providing the pressure I needed that I found myself becoming frustrated with it. That’s when I decided to focus more on other sensations it was providing rather than being so focused on my g-spot alone.

The Angel has a diameter of about 1 ½" that provided me with a nice “filling” sensation and the vibrations were easily felt throughout the lower portion of my vagina. There are eight speeds of steady vibrations that range in intensity from barely on up to an easily felt intensity on the highest setting but I found them to be too buzzy and superficial. I couldn’t help but lust after more power than what the Angel could deliver. Of course, that’s just me and I am aware that there are those of you out there who don’t require the amount of power that I crave and the Angel may be just what you’re looking for. It’s definitely a good choice for those of you out there who happen to have a sensitive clit because this one has some pretty low level intensities that you would appreciate.

There are three patterns of vibration with the Angel too. These patterns are pulse patterns that start off with a long pulse variation followed by a shorter pulse with the last patten being the fastest of the pulses. These were fun to play around with but couldn’t quite push me over the edge. These too were just lacking the power that I needed to achieve orgasm.

The controls are fairly simple to operate via the + and - push buttons located on the base of the silicone shaft. You push the + button to turn it on and push it again to increase the speed. You can also just hold it down to zoom up to the highest intensity of steady vibration. Once you’ve reached the highest speed of steady vibration, you simply hold the + button down again to switch into the pulse patterns. Push it again to cycle through the three options of pulse patterns. To switch back into steady vibrations, just push the - button. Then push it again to decrease the power or simply hold it down to zoom down to the lowest speed setting. To shut it off, push the - button while you are on the lowest speed setting and that’s it! That’s all you need to know to operate this vibe!

The batteries are easy to insert via the twist off battery cap at the base of the vibe. It’s clearly marked on the battery compartment for proper installation of the 2-AAA’s and then you twist the cap back on. It does a sort of push in, then half twist to close. It’s fairly secure and I haven’t had a problem with it popping off during use. There is a rubber “O” ring located on the threads to make this vibe splash proof and that’s always a plus to help make cleaning a bit easier!

One thing that the Angel has excelled at is being quiet! This vibe may be a bit short on power for me but it’s a good trade off for the discreetness! My husband couldn’t even hear this vibe from across the room on high speed! This is definitely a great choice if you ever plan on using a vibe in public because I doubt that anyone would hear it!

Just remember that this vibe is silicone so you should probably only use water based lubricants with it. Silicone will adhere to silicone so definitely don’t use silicone based lubes with this one or it could damage that lovely finish.

All in all, the Angel may not have been a complete success for me but it definitely has a lot of potential for other users. I’d definitely recommend it for someone looking for a discreet vibrator but probably not as a good g-spot vibe. I’d also recommend it for someone looking for an “on-the-go” toy because it’s quite portable. Not only would it fit easily into a purse but it would probably fit into a lot of pockets too.

The smoothness and softness of the silicone will also make this a great choice for those who don’t like the rigidity of some toys. It’s quite comfortable when inserted because of this but it just didn’t win me over like I had hoped it would. It may be the perfect toy for you but I won’t be parting with my Hitachi for this one anytime soon!

Babeland review: The Boss!

The Boss, is the BOSS! But, there appears to be several different versions of the Boss so I’ll be focusing on the version that I personally have. The version that I have is a Babeland exclusive g-spot vibrator from Fun Factory. It’s pretty hefty in size at 1 3/5" in diameter and has a lusciously curved head to provide ample g-spot stimulation. It’s overall length is 8 3/4" with 6 1/2" being the insertable portion.

The battery cap and controls on mine are very similar to the Ellove that I also own. I have a bit of difficulty getting these caps closed but once they are closed, everything works fine and they have never popped off during use. They sort of push on then twist rather than just screwing on but I guess it could just be me that’s the problem. I’m not really known as being the most coordinated person so who knows? Either way, once it’s shut, it’s shut and that’s all that really matters.

The controls consist of a + and - button that obviously either increase or decrease the vibrations. The + button will initially turn the vibe on to a low, steady vibration. This is followed by two more speeds of steady vibration. Pushing the + button again while it’s on high will allow you to cycle through the three different patterns of vibration. When your ready to turn it off, just push the - button until it shuts off. There is also an additional button that is intended for a brief boost of power. This button only mildly increases the power from the 4-AAA's and only "boosts" the power as long as you hold it down. This was a bit of a problem for me when things got slippery because I wasn’t able to push it when I needed too. There wasn’t a problem when my partner used it on me so I guess it’s more of a solo issue and again, it could just be me.

As far as how the Boss felt, I really loved it....a lot! That’s surprising to me because I usually don’t go for the bigger vibes but there’s just something about this one. It’s made from silicone that is soft and velvety so there is some give to it when it’s inserted which makes it quite comfortable yet filling. It’s not rigid and that’s always a plus for me when it comes to size. The bigger a dildo is with me, the more flexible it must be or it’s going to be a no-go! The Boss passed this test and felt amazing while doing it! It really hit all the right internal spots for me and the ridge under the head was easily felt against my vaginal walls. It’s much more stimulating than I had originally thought it would be and that was definitely a nice surprise!

The vibrations from the Boss really didn’t do much for my clit but hey, it really isn’t designed for that. The vibrations shined for me when they were used internally. They somehow even seemed stronger from inside than what they had been during external use on my clit. I really can’t explain why that happened with me but it’s true. The vibrations just felt more intense from inside my cunt. It turned out to be quite easy for me to get off on this one even without any added clitoral stimulation. Just for the record though, I have never been able to squirt but I do have g-spot orgasms and this one did provide me with some very satisfying ones indeed! Unfortunately though, I still did not squirt. Alas, I think my squirter is broken.

As sensual and stimulating as I found the Boss to be, I’m happy to report that it really isn’t that loud either. The insertable portion of the Boss is made from 100% silicone so it has no smell, is non porous and phthalate free so water-based lubes only! This also means that you could share it if you could pry it out of your hands! Just make sure to wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution followed by a good rinse first. If sterilization isn’t required, simply wash it off with antibacterial soap and water or use your favorite toy cleaner according to its directions. The Boss is splash-proof too and that always helps out during cleanup! Just keep in mind that you probably shouldn’t submerge this one though.

Well, you see, life has this funny way of happening all around you no matter what you've got going on. Sometimes life happens in and jumps up to bite me on the ass so I'll pay more attention to things than I normally do. Maybe so that I will look more deeply into my husbands eyes or be more observant of the silly things that my kids are doing so I'll be able to remember them for a lifetime.

It all started because of the recent storms. We got a lot of them in my area. So much so that the schools even closed down. Roads were washed out, houses were flooded and the power was off for days! Then another storm came through. I didn't think I would ever get my phone service back! My vegetable garden was lost and had to be replanted but things are finally back to normal. Hopefully that is as bad as the storms will get this year and I can get on with our summer plans now. Being stuck in a house with everyone and no electricity got pretty crazy. Everyone was cranky and it was easy for tempers to flair. We had our share of arguments but nothing too bad until after the storms. Yes me and my wonderful husband had a pretty heated argument. Nothing physical mind you! Well, unless you count the few times I slapped him. Nah! We won't count those!

What were we fighting about? Well, I was mad. Not at him but at the fact that I could possibly be losing a member of my family very soon. This person was refusing at the time to be treated and I'm still unsure of their final decision but this infuriated me! Car wrecks, heart attack or anything! You just never know. I don't want to be someone who wakes up one day all alone and a widow thinking about all of the times I could have really enjoyed being with my husband rather than arguing with him. How stupid that would be for me to waste the time I had with him being mad about something trivial! From this moment on, I pledge to always look deeper into his eyes and softly trace the lines of his body as I try to imprint them into my brain so that I'll never forget no matter what! I want to always remember how my fingers and hands feel running over his smooth skin and the way it looks and even the way it changes color as I drag my nails across it. Sexual freedom?

My last post kind of touched on my previous life or so I like to call it. I call it my previous life because you would never guess that I am even remotely the same person now. You see, sex toys were taboo for me before. Sure, I’ve always been interested in them but I was told things like, "Sex toys are only for whores." or "What do you need something like that for? He’s there for me no matter what I want and he never judges me or restrains me. Well....okay, maybe he has restrained me before but not in a bad way! He’s totally open to anything and everything I want to do. He’s totally there for me no matter what and I love that about him! It’s a rainy day today and I’m not sure why but it’s making me feel rather blue. I usually like the rain but today it’s giving me too much time to think. Its been a long road to get where I am today and I normally don’t share too much of that with anyone but for some reason I feel like sharing today. I think I’ll blame it on the rain.

You see, I’ve spent the last four years of my life in and out of courtrooms being accused of the most insane allegations you could ever imagine. No, I’m not in trouble with the law and I never have been. The allegations stem from my ex-husband, who you have to realize, didn’t want a divorce. To put it simply, I was a battered woman. That sounds so cliche to me for some reason. Even though I type those words and know they are true, I still can’t convince myself that I was in fact a battered woman. Not me! Sure, things got rough and I even have a few broken bones to remind me but how could I be a battered woman? I’m sure there are others out there who know exactly how I feel but if you’ve never experienced it for yourself, I’m not sure you can relate. To be completely honest, I’m not sure that I will ever be able to call myself a battered woman without feeling a pang of shame for some reason. It may be stupid of me to feel that way but I can’t help it.

I’m not going to go completely into how it all came to be but trust me when I say that he was never like this from the beginning. I had no way of knowing that things would end up the way that they did. How could I have known? How does anyone ever know? It just did and I felt trapped with no way to change the course of things. At first I was under the impression that if you can make it past the five year mark in your marriage, things would get better....or so the saying goes. I can assure you that this saying is totally incorrect and if you find yourself in a situation like this, get out as soon as you can! Things won’t get better and it’s highly unlikely that he will change. I know because I’ve heard the promises and apologies first hand. I had to realize for myself that I deserved better than this. That my life was more important than to spend it like this. Yes, I was told by many people that I should leave but it really didn’t matter how many people told me this. I had to make the decision for myself. No one else could do it for me. Maybe I was too stubborn to admit that my marriage had failed or maybe I was just too damn stubborn all around but I do know that the more I was told to leave, the more determined it made me to make things work out. I know now how dumb that sounds but it’s true. That’s just the place I was in at that time in my life. The worst part of it was the main question everyone couldn’t wait to ask. "Why did you stay?" While this is a good question, I can’t answer it and no one every placed the blame where it belonged and asked him, "Why did you do this?" Why was I the one berated with questions of "Why" when he wasn’t? Why did he get off so easy? Sure, he was an upstanding and wonderful addition to society in the public eye but everything changed as soon as the door closed at home. It truly was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That’s the only way I can explain it. Even my sister-in-law, who I’m not so fond of anymore, literally thought I was lying to her. Her exact words were, "Are you sure?" What the fuck kind of question is that? How could I have not been sure? For me, that question only fueled the belief that what he had said was true. "No one will believe you." Well, you know what? They did believe me and still do! It was one hell of a fight that lasted practically four years but I won. I’m living proof that he was wrong. To be honest though, I really did expect to fail and it was such a huge victory for me when I didn’t. I really can’t explain the feeling that this victory brought about in me either. It was just undescribable. Oh, and all of the allegations he made against me, no one believed him! It’s almost like he tried to turn a divorce trial into a criminal trial. Seriously, you name it and he accused me of it. There’s nothing you can imagine that wasn’t alleged against me by him. You know who wound up being thrown into jail though? Him! I can just imagine his disgust when they hauled him off. If you ask me though, it was just another small victory for me.

Oddly enough, I met the love of my life during my four years in hell. It was such a huge shock to me too. I had sworn off any kind of relationships because I didn’t want to deal with one anymore. I had screwed up so bad the first time around anyway, why would I ever want to try again? Well, I didn’t want to but life has this funny way of proving you wrong when you least expect it. I met him through a mutual acquaintance and while I didn’t want to be left in the same room alone with him at first, we hit it off and he was just so oddly familiar to me. He set up these sort of "group" outings and dinners with a friend of ours because he was attracted to me too. So yeah, even though I was rather standoffish and not looking to commit to anything at that point, he gently pursued me to the point that he won me over. Don’t get me wrong, he hadn’t completely won me over because something in me had changed. I literally put him through hell trying to push him away. I wanted to make him leave and not want anything to do with me because I didn’t ever want to feel so weak again. I would even do things just to piss him off to see how violent he would become. I have no idea what he ever saw in me or what he still sees today but he learned how to handle me and my emotions. He never left my side since then and has never wanted to. I can’t tell you why unless he’s just crazy but I’m so glad! There was even a point where I would just go to him after a court hearing and cry in his arms. No words, just sobs of pain that needed to come out. He was there for me like no one ever has been before and I can’t see myself without him now. The best part of it is, he’s never laid a hand on me unless I wanted him to. He’s just that awesome!

Even though I am now happier than I ever have been, I still have pain that surfaces time and again. I will probably never be as carefree as I once was but I’m getting there slowly. The fact that I know there is someone out there who would kill me if they could get away with it shakes me sometimes. I have this constant fear that one day he will pull up behind me when I’m out and take all of my happiness away. I know it’s irrational to think this way but that is my biggest fear. That one day, he’ll catch up to me and take away everything that I care about to get back at me for leaving him.

Babeland review: The grip

When we discovered that the wonderful Babeland, seller of all things sexual, had an exciting exclusive called the Grip, we could hardly contain our excitement! Our excitement was doubled when we learned that we would be able to review it for them! Hubby couldn’t wait to get this toy in his hands and loved its motorcycle grip looks. It is definitely a very manly looking piece and its black color adds to that manly appeal. It really does look like a motorcycle grip and it is even textured as such to provide a sort of non-slip feature.

It arrived very discreetly in a plain, brown shipping box from Babeland and my initial reaction when it was pulled free of this packaging was, “finally!” You see, there is not a lot of wasteful packaging that goes into the trash with this product. Of all the toys we’ve tried thus far, I believe this one has got the least possible amount of packaging ever! I consider that to be a very, very good thing especially for the environment. Way to go Babeland! We love you!

I played around with the Grip some because hubby was not home when it arrived and I just couldn’t wait to watch him try it out. I personally found it to be a bit too stiff. While it would stretch some, it didn’t stretch much or very easily. I decided to finger the Grip and see how that felt on my fingers. To my surprise, the ridges inside are very pronounced and easily felt. I didn’t know if it was going to prove to be too much sensation for him or not because he does lean toward the softer materials for his pleasure. Don’t get me wrong here, the Grip is not hard by any means. It’s made from 100% silicone and it’s flexible with a velvety finish but silicone is not always the best stretcher. All in all, it’s a great product, it just didn’t work out to its fullest potential with us. While we’re sure others out there will have better luck with this one, it probably won’t get much use in our bedroom.

Just a reminder, make sure to only use water based lubes with the Grip because it’s 100% silicone but, it is phthalate free too! You can even share it if you want to. Well, vacation sucked. I expected it would just from watching the news to see what the weather was going to be like. Our original plan was to stay home this year and dig a foundation to add on a new bedroom. Well, it rained.....and rained.....and then rained some more so, it was a no go. I mean, sure, we could have went ahead and dug out the foundation but it would have inevitably filled up with water that would then have to be pumped out. I guess we will have to resolve to doing it on days off. Boo!

She's been going over it with a fine toothed comb every time she drives it with the intention of finding something wrong. I can’t begin to describe how happy I am with this Tunti case! I knew from admiring them at Tunti Enterprises website that it would be a great addition to my bedroom. When it arrived, I was even more excited because yes, it’s even better in person!

The Tunti turned out to be just as rugged as I had been hoping it would be! You see, this is a hard case for your sex toy storage needs. That’s right! I feel like crap today. There’s really no other way to put it. I have a horrible sinus infection topped off with allergies. Right now there is so much pressure in my sinuses, I think my head just might pop off. I welcome the warm weather with open arms but I do suffer! It’s worth suffering for though. It will pass once the pollen slows down. I only have allergies in the early spring and fall thank goodness! I don’t think I could take it year round! Unfortunately for hubby this means he will receive no head from me until this clears up. He is understanding and willing to work around this problem though. Wow! Has it really been a week? I can’t believe it’s rolled around so fast! Leave it to me to decide on posting an HNT last week! I cursed myself! I hung up the phone and ran outside to look at the roof so that I could see if there was any smoke or anything coming from it. In my panicked state, I saw what I believed to be wisps of smoke so, I called hubby back because I knew he had to lock things up and get a relief before leaving. He can never just leave and run home damnit! Anyway, a kind lady he works with answered the phone and told me he was in fact on his way home. Five minutes after I got off the phone with her, he pulled into the drive. I was so relieved! He checked things out and told me that I had done the right thing by shutting the power off and he didn’t find anything that led him to believe the house was on fire. Maybe I’m just crazy or imagined the wisps of smoke but, hey.....that’s okay with me because my house is just fine! We did have to leave the power off until hubby got the breaker box fixed though. So, here it is a week later and I’m now comfortable enough to sleep at night again! I know it’s Tuesday and this may not be a TMI post or a totally fuckable Tuesday post but, I can honestly say hubby is totally fuckable to me right now! The Emotional Bliss Isis is the smaller, less powerful sibling to the Chandra. Other than these two differences, I believe them to be identical. Simply because the Chandra is 110 hertz versus the 80 hertz from the Isis, I think the Chandra would have proved to be more successful for me even though the included booklet described 80 hertz as being "the proven frequency to stimulate orgasm." Granted I do believe it to be the "smallest rechargeable finger-fitting massager in the world."

Charging is easy. You simply plug the charger unit into a wall socket before connecting the small plug into the top of the Isis. You should not use the Isis while it is connected to the charger because this will reduce the operating life of the motor. When connected to the charger, the Isis will illuminate a blue color to let you know that charging has begun. It should be charged for 12 hours and for best results it should always be recharged after use. This should produce a minimum running time of 2 hours but, if left uncharged for long periods of time, it may cause damage to the battery. The main materials are plastic and TPE so there is no problem using the included sample lubes. After use, make sure to wash it off with mild soap and water but, don’t submerge it! Simply rinse it off under running water avoiding the charging port! For storage, the manual states that the box it arrived in is perfect for storing all of the components but, I threw mine out. It’s just too big.

I would recommend the Isis to anyone looking for a quality made finger vibe that is quiet and discreet! It could easily be toted anywhere and I doubt that many people would even know what it was! Not only that but, it’s uber quiet! I think most cell phones are louder on vibrate than the Isis! My only problem now is that I want the Chandra too!
