These were taken when I was still in the Philippines and 6 months pregnant. This is the view from the roof top of the apartment we were renting then, the majestic Mayon Volcano.

Mt. Mayon is an almost-perfect cone active volcano located in Albay Province of Bicol Region (Region V). It is the tourist attraction in Albay. Here's a bigger shot of it taken last year when we had our vacation in the Philippines.

Bankruptcy Records

Because of economic difficulty that most people are experiencing right now, bankruptcy could be the last resort to some. However bankruptcy is not a good move because it affects your credit history greatly. But of course you never know what circumstances and difficulty in life will do to you so you have no choice. I guess self discipline plays a major role in keeping your finances well-balanced. Over spending is sometimes the culprit to having too much debt that you will end up filing a bankruptcy.

Having a bankruptcy record is very hard because anyone can have an access to it, just like you can access the pennsylvania bankruptcy records for people that you would like to investigate with. So unless you do not have a choice, don't let your finances fall apart. Keep track your spending habit, pay off debt first, and avoid spending above your means. This is my secret in cleaning up the pile of debt that we have over the years. We still have debts but not that much compared before.

Athletic Spirit in them

Here are some of the shots I took when we visited Dad last Saturday at his home. The kids had so much playing with the balls. Hubby and I played with them. I wonder what kind of sorts does my kids will play when they start going to school. I would love for them to be able to participate in sports which will keep them fit and busy.

Do you get tired of taking pictures of your kids? I never get tired of capturing every milestones of their growth.

Reward Satisfaction

I am glad that my husband and I are members of one of the websites that gives you points to read emails and do stuff online because you can claim those points into gift cards. We only redeem our points at the end of the year and we used last year's points to buy our LCD TV which is great. We only added a couple of hundred bucks for it and we got the TV that we wanted. We put our old TV at the basement where the kids usually play.

Cuddling

Ever since we have kids, we seldom cuddle unless we're not in front of the kids. Every time we try to cuddle in the living room, the kids immediately jump in our lap... oh and the dogs too.

But of course sometimes, we get a chance to e,brace especially when they are busy playing or watching TV hehehe. Whenever EJ sees us cuddling or hugging, he would immediately say "I want a hug too" lol. This is the theme for this week's.....

Hey there everyone, how did your Wednesday goes? We brought EJ to their new doctor today because he was having a hard time to breath last night. This was his first visit to Dr. Suray but he did pretty well. We though for sure that he would say "NON" for everything but he didn't. (I was bummed out that when I opened my purse my camera isn't there so I wasn't able to take any pics.

But anyhow, when we came back, I sat in front of the computer to do my usual stuff in blogging and came across this article about anne a lay apostle, a mother of six children who lives in Ireland who believes that she has a calling to spread out the word of Jesus. Check it out guys at myspace.

Romantic Road Trip

When my husband and I flew to Baltimore last month, I find it really romantic having an alone time together without the kids. It is not that I don't want to be with my children, it's just that sometimes, its really good to have a quality time with your spouse. While my husband was driving the vehicle going home, I felt like I was in a romantic road trip with him.

It gave us time to reminisce the precious moments when him and I were newlyweds. I felt like I was riding in one of those having a romantic conversation with my husband. I even took the picture of us holding hands together as a remembrance. Do I sound like a hopeless romantic now? I am sure that some of you will laugh at me but it's true, it made me feel so blessed that hubby and I had some alone time together, which was really great!

But at the same time I felt guilty leaving my kids that long. My youngest son still experiences separation anxiety so every time he doesn't see me, he would cry and cry. When I called them on the phone, my daughter said that EJ cried when he woke up. He was looking for me.

Beach Rentals

My husband will be drawing his pension pay starting next month which is much lower than his pay when he was still in the active duty. I told him that we might set aside the vacation that he is planning for but he said that we might be able to find a good deal with Outer Banks beach rentals. Besides, he is encouraging some members of the family to go for a vacation with us so we can all share the expenses and at the same time have fun together. I don't know what will be the outcome but I am hoping for the best.

An Accident that cost my brother's life

I was thinking about my late brother who passed away last year because of a motorcycle accident. He could have been 39 years old this month because his birthday is coming up in few days. His family didn't get anything from the insurance that he bought when he died because he wasn't able to pay several dues.

I just wish that we could have stayed there a little longer and seek an opinion of a motorcycle accident attorney. But since my husband was still in the Navy and his leave is limited, we did not have much time to look on the matter. I feel so bad about his wife because she has three young kids to raise by herself.

Building Memories Together

Its a joy to see your children get along in doing stuff together without conflict. Both of my kids are very interested with arts and crafts so when one started to do some art work, it is like a magnet that the other one starts to do it too.

This lite brite is a good thing to have if your kids are creative or even if they're not, it enhances their creativity and imagination.

When your kids are building memories together, it is the most precious jewel that any parents can have. I am glad that God gave us enough to live that I don't have to leave my kids. Seeing them grow everyday is the only investment I have and to me that is greater than any material things.

I would like to share this short article that I read in one of the books that I bought years ago about the language of parenting.

Dr. Louise Hart quoted "Raising healthy children is the most important work of the culture. If you have children, parenting is your most important job, What you do when your children are small will contribute to the pain or the joy of the rest of your life. Little other work has such far-reaching effects, influencing present and future generations alike ."

It Scares Me.

My husband was busy cleaning the truck yesterday and of course his tag-along helper (Rylie) was helping him do it. He said that he went inside the basement to rinse off the mat of the truck and he felt this sudden panic inside of him and immediately thought about Rylie. He rushed out to see what's wrong and he saw an old guy who was standing in front of the drive way staring at her. When the creepy guy saw him, he immediately left.

This really scares me because the same guy was staring at her a couple of years ago when all of us were playing in our front yard. He told my husband, "You have the most prettier daughter." I don't know who the creepy guy is because I have never seen him in the neighborhood. I am just glad that he wasn't in the list of west virginia sex offender that I found online.

I am really worried and still scared of the thought that he is just waiting for the right moment to get to her. I am praying that it won't hapen because I won't be able to forgive myself if something happen to my kids.

New Dentures

My kids and I had our second dental appointments last February 24 for our fillings. I also had the fitting for my new top denture. It will cost me 350 bucks so I have to work double hehehe. Anyone who wants to give me an online job? To have both top and bottom, I have a co-payment of 700. I only ordered the top one first since I have to budget our money.

The reason I want my old one replaced is that it is the one I have when I was still in the philippines where it has a metal ring on it and it is already causing damage to my real teeth. The new one is like a flexible one and does nothave a metal ring.

Anyhow, here is Rylie having a filling on one of her damaged tooth. We had a little problem with EJ because he did not want to do anything with the dentist this time. She managed to put the filling but now it is ruined because EJ wouldn't let her do it the right way.

I aways admire film makers because they have a broad sense of creativity and imagination. As I was growing, my family never had a television so it was weird when my mother brought me to a movie house. I felt like it was so real, every time that gun man will point the gun towards me, I would duck my head and hide. The very first movie that I have seen was produced in my country so it wasn't really a high definition per se compared to the movies available these days.

If you produce or make some short film or video feature, you would be able to license it for mobile video content which is the new trend in today's media. You will be able to establish yourself in mobile and basically control your mobile content.

Isn't it amazing how things are getting easier through the advanced technology? As it continue to progress, advertisement or promotion of things are so handy and effective that it easily reaches the target market.

During my 10 days hiatus in blogging, I had an ample time for my kids, husband and myself. My daughter and I had so much fun playing dress up. In the following photos, she's dressed up as a pexie or a tinker fairy. She call herself pixie Rylie fairy lol. Have you notice the first photos? Rylie's hand are invisible hehehe, she was moving her arm up and down so its nowhere to be seen.

Another thing that kept me occupied during my days off from blogging was my work out. I had time to work out during weekends which I seldom did before the internet interruption. I hope that I could keep it hehehe.. Even just one day a week would be good.

Hey guys, if you want to invest for something good for our health, buy some work out equipment for your home. The very first fitness equipment we bought was the bowflex, hubby uses it all the time. Then we found a sale on treadmill two years ago and bought one, and lastly hubby bought him some lifting weights.

Need a Van

With the addition of Champ, the present vehicle that my family has is getting small for the five of us. My husband has been planning to get us a van since last year so its spacious and would accommodate all of us. Him and I are planning to trade in the Honda Accord into a Honda Odyssey if there is a good rate for car loan.

Hubby has been scouting for auto loans online that would give us the best rate possible. The two of us is continuously searching online for a good rate on car loan. I just wish that hubby and I could afford to get a loan without trading the Accord because I love it, it is the first car I ever owned so it has a great sentimental value to me. But if the budget would be an issue, I can't do anything about it.

One of the option that my husband is considering is to trade in the F150 truck that he has but at the same time he is concern of losing it since he loves doing home improvement and he needs it in going back and forth to the store. Oh boy, how I wish that I am rich so I can just buy anything without any problem lol.
