Campbells Chunky Soup/All Pro Dad Review and Giveaway

2010-12-11T16:23:00.000-05:00

Hey All! My question for you is.... Has your husband taken The Pledge?

I was contacted about doing a review for Campbell's Chunky soup with them teaming up with All Pro Dad. To be honest at first I was not sure what it was all about or if hubby would cooperate enough to do it. But it's been great! The more I researched and the more I found stuff out the better it got! We were over nighted two boxes of goodies! One for me to keep and review and one for a lucky winner. That's right someone is going to win this Awesome prize!

In our box we found:

A Chunky folder- with tons of information

The Mentor Leader- hardcover book by Tony Dungy

Beef & Dumplings with Hearty Vegetables

Hearty Tomato Soup with Pasta

Italian Style Wedding

At first I was utterly confused as to it all. But our information booklet explained it all! In 1997 with the help of Tony Dungy, then the head coach of the 2006 Super Bowl Champions the Indianapolis Colts. All Pro Dad gives men the resources they need including the encouragement to help them become better fathers. All Pro Dad was built on a football theme that features over 50 NFL players, coaches, and alumni who speak out the importance of being a good father.

The All Prod Dad model is a simple one to follow: It asks men to give ONE minute a day, ONE hour a month, and ONE day a year to become a better father.

One Minute a day is to read your Play of the Day email ~It is recieved by more then 47,000 subscribers daily, it has now become the most widely read fatherhood email in the world. Men can sign up to this free daily email at AllProDad.com
One Hour a month is to start or attend an All Pro Dad's Day Breakfast... WITH their children! ~There are currently 931 All Pro Dad's Day Chapters at publics schools in 48 states. It is in nine different countries were more than 40,000 fathers and their kids gather on a regular basis to discuss topics together. Like peer pressure, goal setting, and caring the less fortunate. They are held in partnership with the National PTA, They also give you everything needed to start or run a chapter at AllProDad.com
One Day a year to take part in the All Pro Dad Father & Kids Experience ~ Held at NFL Venues nationwide, the Father & Kids Experience is an event filled with bonding, football and tons of fun! The All Pro Dad Father & Kids Experience has hosted more than 50,000 fathers and kids in over 50 of these unique events since 2002 in 20 different NFL sites. This event provides a fun and unique experience while passing along practical fatherhood advice at these sold out events. The Father & Kids Experience also made its debut in college football in 2009, with events that were hosted by the University of Georgia's Mark Richt, and Florida State University's Bobby Bowden.

AllProDad.com is a great website featuring a online blog from Tony Dungy called Dungy's Diary. You can also find link's to follow Dungy on Facebook and Twitter. They have All Pro Dad Team Roasters featuring members such as active NFL players, coaches, and retired NFL standouts. They have team members bios and tons of information useful to even mothers!

As of today we have only sampled two of the three soups we were sent. Today the kids and I shared The Hearty Tomato with Pasta. It was delicious! A little bit thicker tomato soup with some very yummy pasta and tomato chunks in it. The kids ate 90% of it alone! The other day my husband had the Beef & Dumplings with Hearty Vegetables. I was only allowed one bite... He loved it. I wish I could explain more but it was very good! And the smell it put off was amazing. :)

I recently won a little set of clippees from Simply Made. She let me choose from ones she had done or would custom make me a set. I picked a set already made because I fell in love with them. They are adorable! Here is what we chose.

These actually stayed on the side of my daughters head for well over 2 hours that is until she decided that her babydoll should wear them. We have a hard time keeping things to stay in her hair because it's so fine still. They are adorable and very well made. Sometimes when buy bows you can see glue marks and I inspected these and not one!

While going through the Simply Made fanpage I found some adorable items. Here are three of my favorites!

Bowtique Mama makes all sorts of adorable bows! Here are a few pictures of more work of hers.

A little bit of info from Bowtique Mama:

My name is Crystal. I started making bows in 2006 when my first daughter was born, but was not doing it steadily until after the birth of my second daughter. After her birth, I made bows for a few months, then decided I wanted to try an sell them, so I started up Bowtique Mama in October of 2009. I love creating new bows and find that each creation gets better than the last. I pride myself on attention to detail and ensure long lasting quality with each bow. Thank you for taking the time to cruise my site and let me know if you have any bow needs! I also make flip flops and a few items for boys as well! :)

Sincerely,

Crystal

When Elizabeth from LemonDrop Bowtique offered to make me a wreath for this review and giveaway I was excited. I love fall and holiday items. Let me tell you that I did not expect it to be so pretty! It is extremely full and very well made. Before I realized it my 1 1/2 year old was running off to hide it in her room. I had to chase after her and it stood up to her test! It is now hanging on my Kitchen wall and looks great there.

LemonDrop Bowtique is owned and operated right here in MI. She is a very busy mother of 2 but loves to be creative and is really showing it! Her bows are beautiful and her newest addition, these wreaths, are gorgeous as well! You can either purchase one of theses wreaths for only $20shipped OR you can enter here and receive a 25% off coupon to get one of these beauty's at a discount!

Two Farm Chicks ~Angel Stones~ Review

2010-11-25T09:48:00.000-05:00

Hello everyone!

I had to share these beautiful Angel Baby Stones- Miscarriage and Stillborn Healing Stones from Two Farm Chicks. I ordered two of these beautiful stones with my childrens names on them. Now I am very thankful I have never had a miscarriage but I can see how these would help. They give you a little bit of a visual item that's beautiful with your babies name and angel date. I love these. Here's two pictures of my babies stones.

They do a wonderful thing and offer these beautiful stones for free. All you have to do is order them on their etsy site and they send you an email with an approximate time you'll get them. They take a little bit of time as they do have many orders but it is wonderful that they are doing this. They send a great letter to you apologizing for your loss. They ask that if you like the stone to please send a donation. Please note I sent the donation and a bit extra since I don't have Angel Babies but really wanted these. My grandpa loved stones, he collected them left and right. Unfortunately he passed away befor they were born and was never able to meet my babies. My son has a lot of his quality's and I now find stones all over my house. :)

Here is how you can receive your own Angel Stones....
Like Two Farm Chicks on Facebook please
Then go to their Etsy Site to order yours.

*When ordering they do say they are .20 but you do not have to pay in order to receive your Angel Stones.

I just ask that you PLEASE send in the donation if you like yours.

This is another one of my favorite work at home mama's to buy from. My friend Jessica turned me onto her. My husband has psoriasis and if you know someone or have it, you know how harsh perfumed soap can be. We have literally tried a ton of ways to help manage his condition. He doesn't have it bad but we want to stop it before it get's there. I have purchased some wonderful soaps and when you open the package it seriously makes you melt with the yummy smells that come out of it. I literally love to walk into the bathroom because it smells so wonderful!!

We have bought the tea tree oil soap for my husbands skin and it seems to really be helping. The bars last quite a while which is good because they are a bit more money than store bought soap. BUT the benefits are much better. We will never go back to using store bought soap. We plan on sticking with the Goat's Milk for quite awhile now. They have every variety possible. My favorite that I use on myself is "Sex on the Beach" it smells so appetizing. For a good half hour after washing my hands they still smell delicious. We use the "Love Spell" sent on the kiddo's. My daughter wakes up every morning smelling of yummy mandarin oranges, tangerines, and sweet baby sweat.

A little bit of information from Dagmar's Goat Milk Bath and Body Products website:

Goat Milk Soap and Bath & Body products are our specialty. Throughout our site you will notice that we have an excellent selection of natural handmade goat milk bath & body products in a variety of scents or unscented for those with sensitive skin. Natural and homemade soap and skin care products that are made from our own goats milk are effective and gentle to your skin. All of our handmade goats milk soap, goat milk lotion or handcrafted bath and body products contain skin safe ingredients.

Made from fresh goat milk, our soap is wonderful for all skin types and highly recommended for people with dry skin, eczema and sensitive skin.

Goat milk is also great for your skin because it is rich in vitamins, minerals, lipids and proteins giving it wonderful natural moisturizing properties. Goat milk also gives our handmade goat milk soap and goat milk body lotion a rich creamy feel and will leave your skin feeling very soft. All of our handmade goat milk soap contains a large amount of goat milk in each batch, as well as other rich moisturizing oils such as Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil and Shea Butter. In some of our goat milk soap we have herbs, oatmeal, honey, natural clays, and even ground and whole loofahs! Our goat milk body lotion will leave your skin feeling so soft and silky. We believe that goat's milk is a healthy alternative to traditional milk products and know you will be pleased with your selection. Take time to look around - we have a great selection of handmade goat milk soap and goat milk lotion and more bath & body products for you to choose from.

Dagmar's Goat Milk Bath and Body has been kind enough to offer up a bar of soap as the giveaway item. I got to pick which kind and because this is my favorite I think you should have it. :)

I normally would not post something like this but babies just get to me.

A friend of mine named Amanda could really use some help. Here is her story of what happened to her baby the other day.

Story from Amanda:
November 6th was a normal day, i laid my son down in his bed,and walked away for about five minutes.When i came back in,i looked in on him and noticed his eyes rolling back and his chest spasmed. I picked him up and he was limp,not breathing.I passed him to my mother and he turned blue and was ice cold.My mom performed rescue breathes ans myself and two neighbors called 911, and saved his life. When we got him to the hospital they did numerous tests and after 3 days in the hospital,they found out he had refluxed so bad that he aspirated to the point of filling his lungs, blocking his airway and causing him to loose oxygen.He has always been on a boppy pillow to keep him more upright,but that just doesnt help him,and he was on a boppy when he stopped breathing.We are now looking into purchasing these two items for him.The rocker for him to sleep in while being more elevated, and the swing for after eating so he's not sitting back and chancing the refluxing/aspirating anymore;

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3739296 which keeps him elevated pretty well while he sleeps
http...://www.walmart.com/ip/Fisher-Price-Rainforest-Cradle-Swing/5420742 (to keep him in an upright postiion after eating)

all donations are asked to be donated to lifeasapreemiesmom@yahoo.com and when the items are ordered I will provide screenshots of the order confirmation.

Sweet baby boy...

I am sure that if you already have these items and live close to her she will be willing to accept them used as long as they are clean. She is in Fostoria Ohio (northwest Ohio)

I am so thrilled to be bringing you all this review and giveaway. I can remember playing JumpStart games when I was younger with my brother. For anyone that does not know JumpStart is a 3D Virtual world that is safe, fun and educational for children to play! As young as 3 can play it with ease! My son is now officially obsessed with JumpStart. When we were younger they just had the cd games now they have branched out. The online world, cd games and free downloadable games with your membership!

JumpStart has been a blast from picking the character down to the outfit and eye shapes to exploring the JumpStart world. I feel more than comfortable enough with letting my son take control of the mouse and go explore where he would like to. I was concerned at first with being able to interact with other people online. I soon found out that the only way you can communicate is by clicking on the responses and questions. You cannot type freely to someone which I thought was a great idea!

One of the coolest educational spots for my son's age in the JumpStart world is Storyland. They give you tasks that you have to do to earn pieces of each story book. Once you finish your story you can travel to the library and listen to it. They really make learning fun. From designing your own house to decorating storyland the way you'd like this world is all about you or I should say your child! :)

The only complaint that I have now is that my son has become a computer hog. He does not want to stop playing. His favorite part of the game today has been that you can hatch your own dragon! Every little boy loves dragons and now he has his own. From feeding to flying, this Dragon has been a big hit!

All the areas are labeled with what age they are for. The only thing that I don't like is the older age areas my son get's stuck on. I do sit and play with him, at three he wouldn't be able to get out of the older areas alone. I know once he gets the hang of it all I probably will not be needed anymore.

Now you can buy JumpStart memberships for as little at $7.99 a month to try it out. I promise your child will be hooked! This is an amazing educational tool OR you can win a 3 month membership from this giveaway!

You may enter Once a day for a week straight. Just put "entry and then the date"

This Contest will end Wednesday the 18th at Noon.

Disclosure: I was provided with a JumpStart membership at no cost by Knowledge Adventure in order to test the products’ abilities and give my own personal opinions on it. Sparkling Creations by Melinda is yet another shop that I frequent. Except the kiddos don't get the goodies this time. Mama does! Melinda makes some of the prettiest sparkly jewelry I have found. She has always been wonderful to work with and does frequent sales so make sure your a fan!

Recently I received this beautiful mother-daughter set.

This set can come in colors pink, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple & white.

We have the blue set :)

Sorry the quality of the picture is not the best. I had a really hard time getting my 1 1/2 year old to cooperate. She does love her jewelry already though! This set is beautiful! My daughters has an adjustable chain on it so she will be able to wear it for a long time. And I am confident to say I have no problem allowing her to wear it as it is very well made. I also have three other items from her and all are excellent quality and beautiful. I have the book mark which I LOVE and another bracelet and very very pretty pink heart necklace.

ABC Creative Learning has been one of my favorite shops to buy educational and fun toys for my children. The owner Victoria is also MORE than accommodating with helping out her customers. Now everything I have been buying was put away for their Christmas gifts and my son decided to sneak around and find the box (ok he's only 3, so I'm sure when he's older I'm in big trouble lol) Since he found the box he was able to take one thing out and he picked

The Learning Resources Pattern Block Activity Set

Since then the box has since been hidden VERY well, lol. Truthfully I was a bit hesistant about getting these for him because it said grades 2-6. I figured since he'd be playing it supervised it would be ok. Well I was right! This has been the best gift to MYSELF I could ever give! He will sit and play for HOURS quietly! We break it out a lot at naptime so his little sister doesn't bug him. Tonight he sat there for an hour just making patterns and he kept saying "Mama I am doing a good job" lol. Here are some pictures of him enjoying his game.

A little bit of info from Victoria~ ABC Creative Learning:

My name is Victoria and I live in Sunny Florida with my wonderful husband, our beautiful 15 month old daughter, and our two dogs. I have been teaching for about six years and recently decided to stay home with our daughter, especially after we found out of all of her food allergies. It's definitely a blessing to be able to stay home, it's not easy, but definitely worth every second of it.

After my first year teaching I discovered how expensive it was to buy classroom materials and manipulatives for my students. So, having so many teacher friends I decided to open up a Educational Online Store. I started off as just catering to teachers and parents in my school, but then found out about all the exciting things that I could do with the company. So, I decided to start up ABC Creative Learning on the knowledge that I have as a teacher and now as a parent. By no means I believe that I know everything in the education industry, but I definitely try to educate myself and keep up with what is going on in our schools. Especially in the early childhood stages, which is where I taught for 6 years. I am more than willing to help a parent or fellow teacher pick out a toy, resource, or material that is needed for a specific need or developing skill. I don't want ABC Creative Learning to be just another Toy Store. I want it to be more than that. I want my customers to feel free to email me with questions and know that they will get an honest answer and great customer service from me. I take pride in what I do and I work very hard to make ABC Creative Learning a great shopping experience for my customers.

Here are a few other great items from ABC Creative Learning

I was thrilled when we got into contact to do this review and giveaway for you all. The Divine Muse Handmade Jewelry makes beautiful handmade jewelry per your specification but also has some pre-made. I am a huge fan of jewelry and I love hematite! Heather has been wonderful to work with. She made my bracelet and the giveaway bracelet and was able to ship out next morning and it came within 2 days!

They came came packaged beautifully!

Heather sent a very nice handwritten note with the bracelets explaining which was what. She took the time and you can tell that she really cares about her customers and her business. The one I chose for myself in the one pictured in the pink bag. It has Pink pearls, hematite, turquoise and pink opals with a sterling silver bead and clasp. The details on this bracelet are flawless! I love how the pink pearls and opals really go with the turquoise. It also fits me perfectly!

A bit of info from The Divine Muse Handmade Jewelry:

Heather's fiance's father in law inspired her three years ago when he was making his own jewelry as a hobby. She really got into and started off by making items for her family and friends. The more compliments she got it prompted her to start selling to others. Now Heather has a great facebook fanpage and loves working with her customers to make their own beautiful pieces.

Here are some pictures of more of her work

Tutu Terrific Review and Giveaway- CLOSED

CLOSED: Winner is comment #28.Erinn Giblin

Tutu Terrific has been a favorite of mine. I started out buying from her a few months ago. Jessica is WONDERFUL to work with and extremely creative. We have received many bows from her since. I will be a forever customer.

Kylie's "Little Sister Bow"

This bow is absolutely beautiful just like all of her work. It has multiiple layers of pink ribbons with adorable crystal accents and the bottle cap says "Little Sister". We receive multiple compliments every time she wears it. She seals all of her ribbons to prevent fraying and you can see the love that goes into her work. This bow has an alligator clip and for babies with fine hair (like Kylie) we just attach it to a crochet headband and voila! She specializes in making bows, tutus, tutu dresses and bottlecaps.

Here is a bit of info from Tutu Terrific:
Tutu Terrific is owned and operated by Jessica. She is a stay at home mother of 2 rowdy toddler boys. Jessica started making bows about six months ago. She was inspired by her two younger sisters that her mother adopted from overseas. She first made a tutu for her sister and became instantly hooked. Based in Hope AR she is central to about everyone. She does ship international. Bows are always shipped first class with tracking and Tutu's are Priority with tracking. Bottle caps are shipped either way depending on how many were ordered.

Here are some pictures of her recent work.

Who constantly see's posts on their wall from their friends talking about swagbucks?? Totally confused?

Well I can help!!

Swagbucks is a search engine. They have a toolbar that you can download to make it easy to search. The more you search the more you have chances of earning swagbucks. The more swagbucks you get the more things you can redeem them for.

Swagbucks also sends out codes anywhere between 4sbs to 20sbs. :) They send out the codes and notify you via toolbar/blog/ facebook fanpage. You then go and enter those codes on the main page of swagbucks under your name.

Ways you can earn daily swagbucks:
Daily Poll ~1sb
Trusted Surveys ~1
NOSO ~1 (no obligation special offers, just click skip or no to get to the end to get your buck)
Refresh Toolbar ~1
Watch 3-4 SwagTv Videos a day ~5sbs

I have had a swagbucks account almost a year now and I have gotten 27 $5 amazon giftcards from turning my swagbucks in. They have a TON of prizes you can turn them in for. I just do giftcards cause they are a great way to stock up on things you need or want. :)

The more referrals you get also equals more swagbucks. You get your referrals searching bucks up to 1000sb's! So click below, join up and start referring away!

Click here to sign up for Swagbucks.

Still a bit confused after you signed up?? Go to their main page www.swagbucks.com and right above your name on the right hand side is a "Take a Tour" button. Click it and watch the video.

Hi all! I love trying out new products and doing reviews on them. I also love hosting giveaways to give everyone else a shot at trying out something they normally wouldn't be able to. I am the owner/designer and sole creator of Boutique Baby Love. We are on facebook with currently over 2000 fans where I will be promoting my blog and reviews.

A little bit about myself and my family:

I'm a 25 year old mother of two toddlers. Caleb is my angel who turned my life around! He's 3 1/2 and is a spitball of energy! My little sasy girl Kylie is 18months and is a whirlwind! I am married to a wonderful man Aaron. He keeps our little family together and loves spending as much time with us as possible. We have an almost 2 year old Pomeranian named Bear.

I have gotten more and more into going green and buying mama made products. I love trying out new products and would love to write a review for you. If you are interested you can contact me at ocdcl@mail.com

Thanks All and Make sure to tell your friends. I'll frequently do giveaways of my own products as well!
