It was hard to pick just one picture from our 2012 summer. We did so many fun things.

For us, summer = pool, water, waves. Summer isn't summer without wrinkly fingers and toes. There's nothing like that first jump into the pool, the rush of bubbles and the cool water hugging you.

We checked off most of our summer list.

Visited with friends and family near and far.

Went to the beach, pool, park, river.

Tried to stay cool on the many 100+ days.

Ate lots of ice cream, crabs, s'mores and burgers.

Squeezed as much fun out of the season as possible.
