Our Generation Doll Clothes

Okay, Here's the best part about owning an Our Generation Doll. Because they are standard 18" dolls, there are literally hundreds if not thousands of dress combinations for your dolls. You are not limited to the clothes that come with your doll and here is where your imagination can really soar. Not only will you find Dresses, pants, t shirts, shorts and shoes but hundreds of accessories too (see below older posts)

This outfit is a personal favorite and comes with Embroidered suede vest with fringe and the Vest is lined. Also comes with a Long sleeve blouse with ruffled cuffs and a lined fringed skirt. Hat with beaded band, Suede boots that zip up the back with white panties, socks and belt.

Appaloosa Horse - So you didn't get that pony for your birthday, well, this is the next best thing. There are eight horses available in the Our Generation Doll series and I think the Appaloosa is the prettiest, but you can be your own judge. This beautiful horse comes loaded with a saddle and saddle blanket, a bridle and reins, canteen lasso and much more. Giddy up!

Beds With Drawer - This is a sleep over day bed ... Yes, the bottom pulls out so you can have a sleep over for your other dolls. It comes complete with a bedspread, large pillow, cushion and a flower pillow.

Organizer Trunk - This will allow you to organize all your dolls and their clothes. Holds lots of hang up clothes (needs hangers). Has large storage drawer under hang-up clothes. Shelves are roomy and deep. Has fold-down mirror and little padded bench which is quite big. I was just surprised and what a good doll storage unit this is.

Our Generation Dolls - One of the most popular presents many people will be searching for are the Our Generation Dolls series. Most little girls want this as their first 18" doll.

The Our Generation Doll line was first introduced by Battat for the Target store chain in 1998. When they first came out they were known as Autumn Harvest Dolls and quickly changed to the now popular Our Generation Dolls as they are known today.

Our Generation Doll are not like your Grandmother's Dolls

These dolls are often a girls first 18" doll as they are relatively inexpensive and of fair quality. They are soft bodied dolls with plastic vinyl limbs that can often be bent into different poses. The main selling point for the Our Generation Dolls line is the amazing variety of accessories and clothes available.

These dolls are play dolls meaning they are not of the collector quality of some counter parts like American Girl. Dolls like American Girl, are of the collector type and can start at around $200. The Our Generation Dolls, are in the $20 - $30 range but when you think about clothing and accessories, can add up to quite an investment. Plus, most young girls want to be able to play with their dolls, not put them on a pedestal and admire them. We can leave that to the grown up girls :)

The thing that separates these dolls from your Grandmothers dolls are, as the names suggest, they are made for our generation. With names like Robyn, Mary Lyn and Sunnie, these dolls are ready go to a party, volunteer at the pet shelter or ride their horse.

Katelyn Figure Skater Doll - Katelyn is the deluxe doll who come with all the bells and whistles.
