TODAY - It has been almost 4 months now and Abah is still unconscious.

August 4, 2014 as I was about to kick-start life after a long Raya break, Ibu told me that Abah's is now in ICU. I got an early text via Whatsapp at around 2:00 am that she had to bring Abah to the hospital as he was complaining of breathing difficulties. The next text was around 6:00 am.

This is not the first time that he is admitted to the ICU but I sensed something extra than usual. So I decided to drive down to JB immediately that morning. As the 4.5 hours drive came to a complete, my heart was totally crushed. Abah is unconscious and was breathing through a machine. His heart stopped when the doctor was attending to his complaints and it took them more than 5 minutes to resuscitate him. That caused oxygen cut-off to the brain. It was unbearable to see him in such condition. We prayed and prayed that he would at least improve. It was a Monday.

For the next couple of days, the doctors reduce the life support on him to see how well can he sustain. Alhamdulillah, he managed to stabilize the breathing on his own with minimum machine assistance. But he remains unconscious, mainly due to the lack of oxygen supply to the brain when he had the cardiac arrest.

Thursday was a good day for us (to say the least). Abah was taken off the life support machine and his vital signs are improving. But still he has not waken up. Then came Friday, the day of his dialysis. After 20 odd minutes on the machines, we saw nurses running attending to him. His BP dropped drastically as he underwent the dialysis. Doctors were called in immediately to attend to him and we were told that they has lost hope and nothing can be done to him. After 5 days here, doctors are letting him go BUT not us.

Consultation amongst ourselves decided to bring Abah across the straits into Singapore for further treatment. Ayah Long made a few calls and Queen Elizabeth seems to be the best place for him. So immediate arrangement was made to transport him there and for the next 2 months, Abah was there self-healing. Dialysis was a breeze and vital signs are improving even more. But unfortunately, he has not waken up from his 'sleep'.

Now, Abah is resting at home. Unconscious but well. He has what they call Persistent Vegetative State and there is nothing the doctors can do for him. We are now trying traditional and spiritual healing that we were not able to when he was admitted.

Abah, I pray for the best and hope for the best. But...........

I really miss him, all his sudden texts at 2 or 3 in the morning when he could not sleep...

I miss him in total and wish I could have a chat with him again...

Langkawi with MDV

Berjalan je!

We were in Langkawi the other day for MDV’s Company Trip. Despite the absence of a maid that we try not to think of, we made our way to join this preplanned trip and it was worth it (I guess).

Terlalu manja dengan cuaca sejuk bila bercuti (poyo belaka!), we literally struggled with the heat. We made our way on to start the trip on Friday 15 Nov at 0600hrs to KLIA! Kena berkumpul there at 0645hrs. Check in, breakfast and 2 hours later we’re on board MAS’ flight to Langkawi. As we arrived we were brought around the ‘town’ center before making a quick stop at Billion to window (yeah right) shop. We had lunch at a seafood restaurant before heading back to the hotel.

Checking in was a zippy! It was quick and easy just as we wanted. We were tired so were the kids. Yeahlah, have to become domestic helper without maid around, definitely tiring!

That night we were feast with a themed dinner, it was pirates night! Cool huh? But not everyone was dressed for the party, we weren’t but Faleeq was.. Unfortunate for everyone, it rained. So the dinner @ the poolside had to be moved to the coffee house.. It was a loss.. It would’ve been a wonderful dinner should it didn’t rain.. Faleeq got consolation prize for his costume.. yeyy!!

Our SECOND DAY was filled with snorkeling activity. We took a ferry chartered for the whole group to Papar Island which was totally natural all around. The coral was out of this world, waaaaaaay better than the ones in KK! The colorful fishes made me wanted to just float and watch them. Faleeq was reluctant to go down into the waters at first, it took him sometime but after few pushes, shouts and encouragements he was in.. We can literally feed the fishes out of our hands! By the end of the day, we made our way back to the hotel simple and plain tired.. A dinner at the coffee house closed the day before we turn in..

THIRD DAY was filled with shopping galore! The day started at noon where we went swimming at the pool after breakfast. Started the ‘tour’ to Haji Ismail Group (HIG) that now have their own shopping mall… Seriously! But personally I’d rather shop at Kuah for its choices. Here you have HIG grand outlet and nothing else except for some not-so-interesting outlets. Today we had lunch at this wonderful seafood restaurant by the beach which was really good.. I guess everyone was still tired from the snorkeling so most of us just stayed in the bus and slept (including me!).. Went in HIG Mall then out back to the bus for a shut eye.. We were sent back to the hotel at around 5pm where Faleeq went for a splash at the pool.. Mind you, the infinity pool is so huge and beautiful that I decided to go for a splash myself.. Dinner was at Chenang Beach where we strolled along the Chenang Beach drive that has lotsa outlets for you to shop.. They even have a Chenang Mall that didn’t really interest us..

We had to bid Langkawi farewell on Monday.. After breakfast we headed to the airport around 1000hrs for a 1225hrs flight to KLIA.. Tired but quite happy, we went home to where the heart is..

Runaway Maid!

Habis posting habis now its posting emotional! Pembantu rumah lari..!

The very same week we came back from Paris, our maid ranaway on that weekend! Saturday 26 October 2013.

It is believed that she followed her husband which is said to have come to Malaysia recently to work construction. This is how she looks like. Police report dah lodge and I am hunting her down to send her back. Why? Cause dia honeymoon sini dengan husband dia on my expenses! We paid a very large amount of money for her to work and she's somewhere with the husband on that expense. Mind the language cause this poster is intended to scare her off, will be distributed at most known Indonesian areas (seriously!).

Aur Revoir Paris

Yes.. after a wonderful 5-day in Paris we had to bid her goodbye..

Our flight was at 1150hrs from CDG to KLIA. So we took off from the hotel via cab to CDG after breakfast. The cab journey cost us €50 which was quite reasonable.

As we arrived (NOTE THIS FOR FUTURE TRAVELLERS), we immediately went to make our tax clearance. VAT is refundable at their tax counter and we managed to get refund around €300 from all the shopping we did. NO its not a fixed amount of refund, the percentage would vary from one outlet to another.

VAT refund took us almost 1 hour to clear and the check-in took another hour. Then we had to rush (literally) for customs check and once we’re in the terminal it was a matter of time for us to board the plane. What we didn’t know is that the security clearance to board the flight took us so long! I had to take off my belt and shoes and had to take out everything from our hand luggage for them to allow us to board.

By the time we were cleared, it was a mere 20 minutes before take-off time. And that’s not early! That is considered late! So take note of the long security que and checks and be there very early so you don’t rush..

Throughout the journey on board, Fareez behaved himself. Alhamdulillah. He slept most of the time and Faleeq seems to be able to manage his tiredness well. DON’T ASK FOR KID’S MEAL coz its sucks! Get an adult meal for your kids if you’re flying MAS like we did.

We arrived in KLIA around 0600hrs which was earlier than we thought. And Faleeq still have jetlag after a week arriving in KL. He still wakes up at 0400hrs wide awake for school while the parents just doze off securing precious sleep time. And yes, we went to work immediately the next day.

Fifth Day of Paris

Our FIFTH day in Paris was filled with shopping galore!

We made our way to la Vallee Village via RER from Paris Central. The RER station to look out for is Val d’Europe from Charles de Gaulle Etoile. La Vallee Village actually has its own shopping complex however the known premium outlet is an outdoor stretch of various brands shops.

Some of the names that caught our time were Kickers, Ralph Lauren, Timberland, MK and Ferragamo. We didn’t buy much, only a couple pairs of tees for the kids and Coach sunglasses for Elliz. We also bought a few Longchamp handbags that were requested by friends..

From there on we made another shopping stop at Galleries la Fayette so that MIL would feel satisfied with her own shopping. Us? We just browsed and wait..

That’s all folks! Yes! Nothing much to say as I don’t feel shopping as a priority in our trip. We didn't even take much photos.

Fourth Day @ Paris

FOURTH DAY – another day of HOHO. FYI we bought 2 days 2 nights worth of HOHO which includes a night water tour via the ever famous Seine River.

We took off from the hotel via Metro to Trocadero where the Palaise de Chaillot is located. From there the Eiffel Tower is almost a grasp away. It’s a straight flat view of Eiffel where I am thinking most movies are filmed. This is where you can pose yourself with the Eiffel as if it is standing right besides you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to go!

We continued our second day of HOHO and this time without the rushing. And this time we stopped at the Musee de Louvre where the infamous Monalisa portrait is displayed. But NO we did not go in to view. As usual we enjoyed the view and snapped a few (dozens!) photos with the Louvre Pyramide. FYI this is where Apple’s first outlet was opened.. YES! It is here.. From there on its continuation of the HOHO route before we headed back to Eiffel Tower for our night Seine cruise.

Before heading off to Eiffel for our cruise, we managed to squeeze a stop @ Galleries la Fayette BUT UNFORTUNATELY EVERYTHING is closed on Sundays! Blurgh! Should have read about this when I browsed through the info of Paris.. So we went to HRC Paris instead to buy a few tees before making our move. It was raining and we had to run like hell to the nearest Metro station i.e. Saint Lazare.

Eiffel is just wonderful at night! They have lights display every few minutes where it is shun with colorful lights making it just breathless. Faleeq till now says that he misses the Eiffel and would like to go again. Even Elliz’s nephew said the same thing. I just don’t understand why people would prefer to shop rather than enjoy the view. I mean, that’s the purpose of being in Paris anyways.

Personally if you intend to take the night cruise, do if BEFORE you go on the HOHO. Or you will end up like me, bored to death. Its merely because you will see basically the same thing that you saw via HOHO only at a more limited angle. Via HOHO the view is more satisfactory and fulfilling. So TAKE THE CRUISE THEN HOHO.. take my advice..

As we walk from the RER station towards Eiffel, I saw the hotel that we stayed back in 1996. It was then Hotel Eiffel but not sure what its called now. Paris has always been wonderful to me..

Third Day of Paris

We climbed up the top deck of Eiffel Tower on our third day. That’s how we started our day. Breakfast at the hotel was convenient. All bakery items so it doesn’t raise any question. PLEASE BUY YOUR TICKET PRIOR TO YOUR TRIP! Cause that’s what we did. So didn’t have to que like the others and we didn’t have to wait. The que to buy the ticket is freaking long! I’m guessing you can easily waste few hours just to get a ticket. There’re lots of websites (official and unofficial) that sells tickets up to Eiffel Tower. From there we can see Grand Palais, Trocadero and even Notre Dame! The view is just breathtaking. Some think that its not worth the money but to me since you’re in Paris why not you climb the premier spot of all?

We took the Metro to Franklin D. Roosevelt station where Champ Ellysees is just a walking distance away. The exit adjacent to Avenue Montaigne Street where Elliz viewed LV handbags that is almost RM1K cheaper than KL price! We walked from there on to Tour (tower) Eiffel.

We then took the HOHO (Hop On Hop Off) around Paris. Started from Champ de Mars (where we had our picnic lunch) then we went to 5 attractions before we stopped at Notre Dame.

When we were @ Notre Dame, we had the chance view Lover’s Bridge that is adjacent to the Grand Chapel. All along the Seine River, people would mark and lock their secrets away by securing a lock (mangga) on the bridge’s (river) fencing. If you can see, it is full of locks!

Grand Chapel Notre Dame is an art on its own. I didn’t have the chance to see this place when I came here in 1996 with my parents but having to view the chapel with my very own family is just satisfying. People flock the architecture wonder where you can feed pigeons out of your hands and please note that the souvenir shops along the streets here offers the best price compared to others THROUGHOUT PARIS! All you have to do is take time to browse and compare.

After a nice hot coffee at the roadside café we make our way back to the hotel via HOHO.

Second Day in Paris

The second day is on Disneyland.. Too bad we woke up not too early that day. We entered Disneyland around 12noon, so we missed 2 hours of fun! Trip to Disneyland was via RER, we had to take the Metro to the Charles de Gaulle Etoile and from there its RER to Marne-le-Vallee Chessy.

Disney was havoc! Why? Because we wanted to try everything, wanted to ride everything! So most of the time we would just run about but with ref to the map I guess we covered everything (most of it). The entry to the park was really secured; they go through your bags in search of weapons. But my group was saying its food that their looking for, but I don’t agree with them. Although we entered the park only at noon, it was actually perfect timing. As we walked in, the street fest was about to start. Decorated cars and Disney characters walked the street dancing and singing. The kids were enthusiast seeing this! We were there the whole day! And only got back at the hotel around 10pm. We actually wanted to go around for more of Paris, but the kids were already tired.

If you intend to go and worry about halal food then don’t, there is this one outlet that sells kebab and they have halal food there (so they claimed, jangan was-was!). So have a blast, Disneyland Paris brings out the child in you!

First Day in Paris

First day @ Paris – our arrival @ CDG was around 7am. As a smoke, first thing I looked for is the exit for me ‘expand’ my lungs after a long 13 hours flight. When we stepped out, the first thing I noticed is the ‘smoke’ from my mouth.. it was 5ºc and it was already freezing! We had a quick smoke before getting off to the RER station.

We bought ourselves a Paris Visite Pass that costs us €57.75 for each adult which we can use for 5 days (highly recommended)! It covers ALL public transport i.e. Metro, RER and busses which was our maid mode of transportation.

A trip to the hotel took us 45 minutes or so. After train hopping through 3 stations we arrived @ le Manhattan Hotel around 9am +. It was great to know that we were able to have an early check-in. Maybe it was because of our baby we were given ‘face’..

We rested for a while before heading to Paris Center at 1pm.. Nope! We didn’t sleep.. for me I just slept on the way on the plane..

We hopped on the Metro and headed to Montmartre, an elevated view of Paris. Its on of the grand chapel that they have in Paris and the view is just magnifique! We stopped by at TATI to shop for kids’ clothing then went to Champ Ellysees to window shop (before the actual shopping!). The best part is walking up from the underground Metro where Arc de Triomphe is the first thing we see! OMG! I just love it.. we walked around Champ Ellysees where the ladies went crazy seeing a three storeys Louis Vuitton.. so the guys had coffee while waiting for the ladies to pamper themselves with leather and CAME OUT EMPTY HANDED! Hahaha

Our day ended with a Malaysian maggi dinner at the hotel before turning ourselves in.

Paris - I am in love

Our trip to Paris began on 16 October 2013, from KLIA at 2350 hrs via a magnificent Hercules A380. A 13 hours trip to Charles de Gaulle we arrived at 0700 hrs local time..

Expected the weather to be cold, we had our winter clothing with us tapi tak sangka it was that cold. A whooping 8c when we arrived! Sampai CDG kami terus ambil Metro to our hotel to check in.

After checking in, tanpa melengahkan masa we immediately took the train to Champ Elysees, the ever famous shopping stretch.. the whole street is full of branded outlets and shopping galore! First day was tiring enough for us.. 13 hours flight then takde rest kami terus berjalan-jalan.. But before that we went to the top of Paris @ Montmartre.. Dari sana view was magnificent and wonderful!

Anak-anak seems to be excited especially Faleeq.. We had to buy Fareez a thicker jacket coz the one we brought wasn’t thick enough for the weather.. It was gusty and breezy all the time.. temperature was between 8c – 16c the whole time..

2^nd day kami ke Disneyland Paris.. this one bukan je anak-anak yang excited, but the adults as well especially me.. The last time jejakkan kaki ke Disneyland Paris was in 1996 and since then I look forward to come back here again.. one thing yang menghampakan is that, we only spent one day there.. we should have opt to stay longer or at least a couple of days should be more satisfying..

3^rd and 4^th day was our siteseeing time.. Took the ever famous hop-on hop-off Paris for these 2 days period and even took the cruise down Seine River.. it was breathtaking! Always loved Paris... We started the day with a trip up Eiffel Tower top deck and the scenery was marvellous! We made a few stops at shops to see what is there in store @ Paris.. We were told that some brands are ridiculously cheap there and surprisingly it was true.. So as usual Elliz bought herself a LV handbag that is almost RM1k cheaper compared to Malaysian price.

All in all it was great experience and definitely we’ll go there again..

Not that soon but definitely will..

Maid Missing

I was intending to post some updates since my last update was years ago.. However, in spite of the latest mishap our family faced, i choose to update that instead.

This is actually a chronology of what had happened..

Our maid asked us to transfer some money to her hometown untuk hari raya haji.. nak beli lembu katanya..

So mcm biasa TT will be done via CIMBClicks and normally a day or two akan lepas..

Then we went for our holiday in Paris as scheduled.. this I will update on the trip later..

After we got back, perkara pertama yang dia bgtau Elliz is TT tu tak lepas ke kg.. and coincidently, CIMB emailed wife saying that account no yang kami furnished tu salah..

And during our stay in Paris, maid requested to meet her husband who had recently masuk Malaysia and worked here as a buruh kasar..

So without thinking of anything bad, we contacted CIMB and furnished them with the correct account no..

And TT tu lepas to Indo dalam dua hari lepas updates..

Jumaat lepas (1 November 2013) we went for a late night movie Thor @ Paradigm Mall. Balik pun dah agak lewat as we went for a after-movie drink. It was myself, Elliz and Faleeq.. Melayan ‘abg long’ tgk superhero favourite dia.. Our little baby Fareez tinggal di rumah with the maid..

We came home at around 4am and the maid was sleeping with Fareez inside our room.. he was already asleep when we left the house, so tanak ganggu dia tido we asked the maid to accompany him in our room.. Bila balik the maid was sleeping and so was Fareez..

Nak dijadikan cerita.. Aircond bilik leaking and water was all over the place! The maid punya sengal she didn’t even notice this.. as this was a repeat a/c problem, I knew what to do.. so I took the vacuum and vacuum la outlet pipe yang alirkan air keluar tu.. and asked the maid untuk lap air yang dah melimpah tu.. she took a pail and a towel to complete the task..

At this point I didn’t notice anything weird about her.. we stayed for Subuh and woke up around 9 that morning..

Elliz found she’s nowhere to be found! Barang-barang dia semua lesap.. gate depan opened and she threw the housekeys inside the house..

She was bold enough to take the passport out of Elliz’s handbag that was hanging inside our room..

To think of it, kalau lah TT to Indo tu lepas before we went to Paris.. I am sure masa jumpa husband time di Paris tu dia sure akan lesap!

And to think that she did not have any complaints neither did us, so we were quite surprise by her fleeing..

But regardless la apa org cakap that the husband persuaded her to flee, to me they are equally assholes!

I don’t intend to take her back, I just want to send her back..

If she has bad intention then its her loss.. to me I bring you in and spend duit byk-byk is for her to work for us..

Kalau dia nak ambil kesempatan or the husband to be together by our expenses, then she’s wrong!

Kalau nak bersama you fork out your own money and spend to come here, bukan di bawah kos aku..!

After Fawwaz passed, we took quite some time to recover.. The time taken to overcome our worry and anxiety of having kids was tremendous..

But Alhamdulillah, Allah has grant us another opportunity to have his trust with another child..

Born on 10 April 2013 at Hospital Sg Buloh at 2.64kg..
We named him Iskandar Fareez bin Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain.. Fareez which means 'yang alim'.. InsyaAllah..

Now, at almost 6 months.. he's a handful and always able to cheer us up..
These kids are what making us stronger..

InsyaAllah 2 more kids coming.. Dalam perancangan..

True Friends

You know they refer BFF to those who'd go thru bad and worse for you? I guess that only happens in the movies..

I've been in deep shit for several weeks now (Allah je yg tau seksa) and so far I have yet to find any 'friend' that is willing to hand a hand.. I've thicken my skin enough that it can be used as sand paper to scrap other surfaces. But still to avail..

Allah has been kind enough to grant me with energy and strength to make it through the days but I guess he hasn't grant me my prayers for some reason. It is said that He may not test His followers more than what they can take. So I guess there's more that I can do..

For bad or worse

Wow.. I feel like I'm in a chapel..

Anyway.. Life has been hard on me lately.. Been conned by a friend of few ten-thousands and having it hard to make ends meet.. It was hard enough to find those thousands let alone making it payable to those I owe..

But I'm lucky to have a family that has my back. Even how bad it is they're always there whenever you need them. They're always loyal to listen to your issues and trying their very best to help you in any way they can possible. It's like pinching left leg the right leg would feel it (cubit peha kiri peha kanan terasa)!

Anyhow I don't wanna go into details of how my mishap happened. Only that it sucks to trust people too much and hoping that things would work out. But qada and qadar really slap me in the face in this one. I feel alone although I have people around me that care, I was vulnerable and most of all I as really weak. I cried most of the time when I prayed coz He is the only one who'd listen. I have Him on my mind most of the time to give me strength and calmness.

It was great to know family helped as they could. Even if they can't afford it they would be there to comfort me.. But I believe that moral support is more important in this issue compared to others. Yes the financial part was hard on me but it was eating me alive and slowly. I was really no where. I can't think I can't focus and I can't even manage my tasks.. Nobody was hard on me for trusting that 'friend' of mine and nobody was critical of me for what has happened. That's what really helped.

Why?
You don't expect people to go through shit in life alone!
You don't know how they feel coz they'd never portrait what is actually they're feeling!
You're not in their shoes so you won't know what to expect!
A smile on the face is never the storm in their head or mind.. And shit happens to anyone so you can't blame them for every single thing that has happened..
And I believe most of all - nobody ever wants to be in this kind of mess deliberately!

'Nikmat' Berpuasa

Bila puasa ni we can obviously see changes in ourselves..
We're more slow and sluggish.. We talk less and try to see less as well! (tidur le)..
But have we thought that what we're doing is because its the best for us while we're fasting?
Maksudnya, we talk less sbb dikatakan lebih baik dari mengawal percakapan di bulan Romadhon..
Tapi is it? Or sebab we're too tired to talk? erk....!?!
Tired to do anything actually, tu yang jadi slow and sluggish tu..

Bila puasa, perkara yang dibuat semua berganda.. Yeke?
Contoh bila angkat wudhu' - berkumuh dari 3 kali tiba² jadi 4 -5 kali..! LOL..
And this is repeated to most of our anggota wudhu'..

Jgn la marah kwn².. sbb this is a reminder to me as well..
You know, bulan puasa ni I am definitely talking lesser.. Coz I'm too tired to join in but most of the time topic nya tak menarik terutamanya di bulan mulia ni..
I try to walk faster and firmer rather than going slow and groggy all the time..
But this pair of eyes on my face wouldn't stay open! Argh...! I can even fall asleep while reading something...! erk?!?

But most of the time, people would just forget that orang lain pun turut berpuasa..
Don't you think so? IT IS actually sbb it's a must for us Muslim to fast in the month of Romadhon..
Walaupun diriwayatkan dan malah Rasul SAW telah bersabda bahawa syaiton iblis serta jin dirantai sepanjang bulan ni.. But still we act like they tempt us to misbehave.. Don't you think?

Let me take you here..
Drive nak balik, kejar masa nak pegi bazaar (i hate referring to it as PARAM - WTH!) and then make it in time to buka atas meja sambil dengar azan on tv or radio..
but u got stuck in traffic and time is really jealous (mencemburui) of you..!
Then, up ahead you see PDRM manning the traffic and coz of that you're staying put and not moving..
Erk! You're not the only one stuck! You're not the only one rushing home!
But most of all, you're sitting there in the car dlm aircond sambil duduk while the cop manning traffic is standing there tengah panas muka berdebu to make sure that everyone goes through that junction..
And think, that while you're at home eating all your food from bazaar or homemade, that cop is still there berbuka dengan air kotak and sanwic shj.. oi! Dah boleh fikir?

Then towards nak berbuka time, you rushed the waiter or even the chef at the open kitchen for something without even thinking that they too need to buka..
Did you know that they buka with a glass of water at least and will eat once the crowd has slow down.
Kita dah kenyang baru dorg dapat makan - in short!
But still you chase them if their late, you stare them if they ignore you and WE even raise our voices with them.. Aduuuuuuhhh..

So, think twice before doing something bulan puasa ni..
Sbb orang lain semua puasa..
Note to myself - i need to control my temper.. I get shortfuse when i'm hungry..! LOL

Tajuk yang sangat retorik!

Sempena kedatangan Ramadhan ni, aku terpanggil untuk buat post sesuatu yang mendekatkan kita dengan ibadat wajib harian kita iaitu solat.. Sebagai umat Islam yang berpegang teguh pada rukun² Islam dan Iman, maka aku rasa tajuk ni sesuai untuk kita jadikan panduan atau sekurang²nya sebagai pita pengukur..

Maybe sebab dah dekat Ramadhan sebahagian besar kita lebih peka terhadap ibadat kita tapi ada juga yang bertambah leka sebab terlalu taksub atau asyik dengan membeli belah sempena menyambut kedatangan Syawal. Tapi apa yang mulia antara duanya tentunya Ramadhan sebab pada bulan inilah nikmat atau keriangan terasa apabila datangnya waktu berbuka dan kemeriahan berterusan dengan adanya Solat Tarawikh yang dijalankan setiap malam.

Anyway, topic Ramadhan InsyaAllah akan dibincangkan dalam tajuk lain kemudian hari. Aku sebenarnya taksub dengan kemajuan (kepekaan) pihak2 berkaitan dalam hal penyediaan surau di tempat2 awam khususnya di shopping malls. Malah lebih memeranjatkan lagi bila tengok surau di hotel2 5 stars kini lebih cantik dari zaman dolu2 masa aku kerja hotel (walaupun sangat jarang guna surau hotel).

Kalau kita perhatikan, surau2 di tempat awam skrg ni lebih selesa dan menakjubkan. PLUS Highway punya surau jangan kata lah – luas, cantek, selesa and even sejadah yang disediakan sentiasa wangi bau soflan! Serious! Setakat ni tak pernah lagi fail surau R&R sepanjang aku stop untuk solat. Unless ada kalian experience surau yang kalian gunakan adalah sebaliknya. Yang hentian2 sebelah exit tu most of it cuma gunakan pondok2 di luar tu sebagai tempat org tumpang sujud. Alhamdulillah, takde lagi musafir yang ‘terlepas pandang’ ibadat wajib 5 waktu tu..

Bila pergi shopping lak, sure ada yang terlupa. Eh! Dah nak abis waktu! Eh! Nanti abis pulak baju dkat sale MNG tu! Eh! Wayang dah nak start.. Eh! KORANG NAK KENA KAPIT RUSUK OR TERBAKAR DALAM KUBUR KE? Pernah sekali tu aku pergi Bkt Bintang untuk beli barang then tiba waktu Maghrib aku pun berlari2 mencari surau, tapi too bad surau yang aku jumpa some time ago tu sangat tak praktikal.. Tempat wudhu jauh, tiada selipar.. Sejadah lusuh dan berbau, ruang sempit dan senget.. Sebenarnya ruangan yang disediakan tu adalah shoplot yang telah diubahsuai menjadi ruangan surau sebab obvious sekali dgn ruangan wudhu pun perlu berjalan keluar dari ruangan solat. Walau bagaimanapun, Alhamdulillah sebab mereka dah bina surau baru di ruangan atas parking area.. BUT DON’T GET CONFUSE SBB I ALWAYS CONFUSE MYSELF BETWEEN SG WANG AND BB PLAZA.. Whatever pun, surau baru dekat parking ni lagi luas, selesa dan sangat memuaskan hati..

Surau2 di Pavillion, KLCC or even 1U are considerably acceptable. Walaupun surau underground KLCC tu agak sempat dan ‘wangi’ tapi kemampuan ruangan menampung bilangan jemaah yang ramai memang membanggakan. Pavillion? Walaupun gagal memenuhi keperluan org berkerusi roda tapi overall boleh dibanggakan. Tu la, tempoh hari bawak nenek aku pegi sana tapi both surau tak praktikal utk wheelchair dia.. Yg atas laluannya terlalu sempit utk wheelchair while yang di basement takde laluan atau tempat wudhu utk org di kalangan Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU).. 1U on the other hand would be nice.. exactly tak ingat aras mana tapi yang pasti dia sama level dgn entrance pd playground and chilli’s.. yes! Its a parent way to remember locations.. Dekat dgn Playground tempat Faleeq main and Yes! Chilli’s tempat parents nya minum sambil tunggu Faleeq main Playground.. haha LOL!

Anyway, jika dibandingkan zaman dulu dan skrg dah banyak perubahan sihat. Dan pemikiran Islamik modern skrg ni sgt membantu muslimin dan muslimah memenuhi kehendak dan tumpang sujud di bangunan-bangunan yang gah tanpa perlu berfikir panjang.. Skrg pun kalau dilihat penyatuan orang Islam di surau2 sangat menakjubkan, pasti ada saja orang yang sudi mengimamkan solat.. Dan makmum tiada masalah untuk ikut jemaah yang ada..

Wow.. musim PRU dah terasa bahang dia.. Eventhough I've made clear what my stand and support is for, I tend to see that most people nowadays are trolling like mad against the opposite party(ies).

Let me start off with this:-

We're merely human and human make errors ~

Nobody is perfect so don't try to be one or make the other person look like any lesser dumb than you

Making fool of people won't make it up for the fact that you're one as well ~

Bukan apa - teknologi skrg ni membuatkan mesej lebih mudah tersampai dan lebih cepat. Twitter, fb and now even instagram. Dulu (sampai skrg) org guna blog as source to troll and make other people butthurt. But now, there're those i mentioned.

Anyways, what we see is what we get. But what we don't get is the fact!

People might wanna go into debate, or even go to public that they have the fact and all (or even proofs)!

But the fact is that (to me that is), is we don't have any solid factual data!

People tend to say this and some others might say that.

One side would say one thing, while the other side would not deny instead they come up with their own troll.

All in all, this is definitely getting out of hand!

Youth are starting to loose their culture and without culture there's no life essence

Islamic values are being questioned - merely because some say they know more than the others!

Respect for other races is out the window although Islam urge Moslems to do so.

Guys,

in view of the above, I am saying this:

- don't be stupid and waste your life like that

- Go back to our basics as Moslems: al-Quran al-Karim

- Don't belittle other people as it may backfire on you and you're actually littler than them!

(49:11) Hai org2 yg beriman, janganlah sekumpulan org laki-laki merendahkan kumpulan yg lain, boleh jadi yg ditertawakan itu lebih baik dr mrk. & jangan pula sekumpulan perempuan merendahkan kumpulan lainnya, boleh jadi yg direndahkan itu lebih baik. & janganlah suka mencela dirimu sendiri & jangan memanggil dgn gelaran yg mengandung ejekan. Seburuk-buruk panggilan adalah (panggilan) yg buruk sesudah iman & barangsiapa yg tidak bertobat, maka mrk itulah org2 yg zalim.

Wow... Its finally here, the great 33...

Alhamdulillah.. Allah has given me another chance in his world to serve him.. I'm not a typical human that go berzerk at the 1st sight of aging.. But I prefer to grow older cause in a way it reminds me that my end is near..

I've been through ups and downs of life for the past 33 years.. My mom, uncles and aunts were reminding me of my 1st few months in this world yesterday and it brought tears to my eyes.. How arwah Tokbak would bring me around on his bike and would just lie sit walk (almost everything with me beside or in his arms).. He was a good man.. Always trying his best to be good to others.. How he cried while holding on to the house's pole as we went back to our house after Ibu completed her pantang.. Then I was told that he kept on driving from Muar with our Tokyang to our home in JB everyweek just to visit me.. Why? cause I was the 1st grandchild of their's.. that is why..

Semoga Allah memberi beliau tempat di kalangan orang-orang mukmin yang beriman dan semoga rohnya adalah antara mereka yang dipanggil Rosulullah di hari kiamat kelak..

Arwah Nenek and Bak on the other hand were totally different.. They were very pampering but spoiled me alot (compared to Tokbak).. They would give me jajan and buy me toys that kept me awake till late night until Ibu got so pissed off.. They would allow me to jump into the river and swim until my body and legs gots bite marks and rashes.. They would allow me to play in their farm and be chased by geese, ducks and chickens.. It was fun!

As I grew older I got over the fact that I was not pamper material anymore.. But that's ok, as long as I have them all with me, everything would be ok.. Then they passed, one by one.. We had Bak's passing when I was in standard 6 and several months later Nenek followed him.. Tokbak in the other hand passed when I was already working my 1st job at NAZA.. I still remember that time.. I went back for the weekend and had a Domestic Inquiry the coming Monday.. The phone rang and I answered, our uncle Ayah Teh called and told us that Tokbak has passed.. I didn't know what to say so I squatted and cried, went to Abah and all off us went to tell Ibu, slowly.. Allah has better plans for him.. I missed him the most..!

Last year Abah was diagnosed with kidney failure and had to undergo dialysis ever since.. I've known Abah as a strong and very firm person, but ever since that he had been very slow and weak.. Without knowing what to do, all I can is just comfort him..

I've always been a reckless person.. I mean, I don't plan but mostly I do.. I like to do things at the very last minute merely because I do things better when I am under preassure.. But the past 1 year or so have thought me more on how to be a human being than the other 32 years of my life.. And Alhamdulillah that 1 year has brought me positively back.. Thanks to my faithful and ever loyal wife and to my parents who believed in me..

Last year, we lost our 2nd son Iskandar Fawwaz but Alhamdulillah, Faleeq has grown to be a handful.. Life must go on but Fawwaz will always remain in our minds as the person that has changed us to be stronger and wilfully person.. This was one of the downs that brought me up..!

Allah has tested me in many ways but his tests had dragged my wife and family along with it.. He definitedly works in wonders.. What He gave He would take it back.. What He press on us is what He knows what's best.. What He has planned for us is definitely better than what we planned and have in mind for ourselves..

Semoga apa yang aku usahakan adalah seperti apa yang Dia mahu utk aku..

Mudah-mudahan apa yang diperkenankanNya adalah apa yang terbaik utk aku dan keluarga aku..

Bersih ka!?

Baru-baru ni kita dikejutkan dengan insiden di luar kawalan Bersih 3.0 di Dataran Merdeka. The ‘event’ was said to be a ‘sit and protest’ thingy but got out of hand.. for the 1st time of my life, I am going to try and give a fair and just comment on the incident based on what I have read and understand from friends that were apart of the celebration (erk)..

Its been havoc since they start this thing.. there was Anwar 901 (ye kot) for Anwar to be released.. Before that it was Reformasi... Then Bersih 1.0 - 2.0 and now 3.0.. is it me or most of these street parties are about Anwar Ibrahim. I have to say this that our politics have never been this excited before (not dirty! ~ No! not at all!) since he (DSAI) was arrested for being the 'behind' man.. Then tapes of Chua Soi Lek, who's the lady DUN, then Shafie and now its Azmin.. Macam2 la! Dah mcm 'i did not have sexual relationship with that woman' once again!

But to think of it, please follow my mind..

Would a mother go against her son in public even if that son was VERY VERY VERY rude or lost?

Would Hassan Ali someone who we all know (BN or PKR) that uphold and fight for Islamic truth and truce be bought off by any party?

I mean these 2 are the best examples that i can give that noone can manipulate.. right right right!??

1. Bersih 3.0 was a no go at Dataran Merdeka – if I could recall correctly the application to hold this thing at Dataran was rejected by PDRM and even DBKL for safety reason. And as a result, the protestors had gathered outside of Dataran (which was surrounded or protected whatever by the PDRM) with the intention to go ahead and walk in to Dataran and have their ‘sit and protest’ thing.. So that is why, things got out of hand and few hundred people were injured in the process

Protestors were not even supposed to be there in the 1st place! Then why blame the cop or BN or UMNO for the injuries that your members gained? Police gave their best to give you space to move and show your emotions, some groups were even left alone by the police! But why do police have to result in assault or brutality (I won’t call it that!)..

2. It was held all over Malaysia – this came out of my knowledge. Obviously I did not read the whole thing about Bersih and it didn’t even cross my mind that it would be this big! On the same day you can find Bersih in Penang, Melaka, Johor and even Australia (yes! I left out a few – for god’s sake this is not the news where I have to mention every single detail!). With this volume of supporters I can say that as a BN supporter I am very worried of our standing in Malaysian’s eye. It is definitely hard to know and be assuring of what people nowadays are thinking!

3. Things got violent – as you all might have read (somewhere/everywhere), things got out of hand on that day. Police cars were overturned, patrol bikes were stripped down, protestors were sprayed and brought down by the police and there was even a report of a fatality.

But not only protestors were brutally (huh?) disarmed or assaulted, there were cases of police cars being overturned, police bike being stopped and knocked down. Some said DSAI gave the ‘OK’ to go into Dataran Merdeka. Another group said that it was a misunderstanding or miscommunication between organizers and protestors. And some even claimed that it was policeman disguising themselves as protestors and broke into the barricade and urge or call (duh! who can call in this situation) others to join in the ‘fun’.

4. Bersih 3.0 was not a success – I would say Bersih 2.0 is more effective and success if you compare it with this one. For one, demands 2.0 which were 98% fulfilled and still they list it out again in 3.0. why would you prefer to have this 2.0 or 3.0 in the 1st place!?

Yes, I understand that 3.0 is all about fair election and your demands are all about the upcoming election. Ambiga even stated in her debate with KJ that she refuse to even speak to SPR even if she had the chance. All she wants is for the Chairman to resign!? Erk.. one person does not change everything overnight!?

Can I give you a simple yet effective solution. I am NOT calling out to Malaysian but this is merely a solution. Why not all of you BERSIHANS out there don’t go out to vote during the election?! What do you think?

Now, see it from a general Malaysian point of view (in event you win Malaysia):

- You refuse to listen but you want to be listened

- You want change but you do not apply it

- ALL politic parties are NOT clean! Politics itself is dirty to start with!

- You ramp about decreasing the petrol price but can you confirm it will maintained forever?!

- You want PTPTN out but can you be sure that our beloved country won’t be sold out to IMF etc?

- Can you confirm freedom of speech and press?

- Confirm and maintained Malaysia’s status as an Islamic Country

- If BN supporters rally would you allow them and not use something similar to ISA to help you?

While you’re at it, add these to you list of demands!

- Scrap the income tax, let govt subsidized everything!

- Make medical free for all

- Make EPF a contribution by the govt and not salary deductable

It's his 1st day today and he's all excited..
He's been waking up all through the night wondering if it's already morning..
Alhamdulillah.. There wasn't much fuss seeing him off today...

We were kinda worried since some of the children there have started crying..
But Faleeq was all pumped up and ready..

We hope Genius Aulad is the best choice we made for him.. Insyallah..
We're praying for him...
