We were kinda worried since some of the children there have started crying..
But Faleeq was all pumped up and ready..

We hope Genius Aulad is the best choice we made for him.. Insyallah..
We're praying for him...

You know what that means? If you don't it means human (i think!).. LOL!

Anyway, today i'm gonna crap bout people and the group that i recently put them in to.. Yeah, i grouped people based on their crapiness and level of sh*t that they put on for others to watch..

1. Momma's boy - you know those people who get really attached to their mom and somehow failed to realize that they're actually married and now working to make a living? Seen that and know one..! I guess this is a fact of not trying to face reality of life and keep repeating in his head that he has a shitty one. What crap! And when everything that he tried (at least) to make ends meet and failed, guess what!? he went running to momma crying like a little baby.. Damn! I don't really blame the mom or dad or anything in related. Coz when you're a parent, you'll always be one.. No matter who or what your kids are now..

2. The Echo Wall - ever heard people say this - "orang kata tu, ada orang kata ni, dorg ckp" thingy when you speak to certain people? Yeah, they're called echo wall.. Why? Cause they repeat what others say without even trying to figure out the truth about it. Then echo walls meet with other walls that will echo what they said.. BUT this particular wall is in an big empty room cause people can always hear what they say no matter what.. And their heads or brains (if any), are as the room... EMPTY!

3. I am Legend - ni solo rider.. The type that doesn't really mingle much.. I guess at certain times i am one.. cause at times i like to keep things to myself. You know.. But Legend is the one that wants to be alone in his world. Doesn't know or want to know whats going on around him.. Or even tried to take port of what's going on.. All he knows, the tasks given is completed and the meeting scheduled was attended..

Know, i'm not the type who gives a crap of what people say. Or bother that i might hurt somebody's feeling that i know cause i don't ask for anybody's money to live mine. Also, the fact that i only wanna make my family and close friends happy is good enough for me. Hell yeah! Anyway, for those that claims to be my friend and tried all that mushy talk to me saying this or denying that in the past, i forgive you. But i will never forget cause nobody does! PERIOD!

Our Trip to Mersing

We recently drove all the way to Mersing to attend Zam & Kim's wedding.. All that 5 hours drive was worth it by the company of friends and the really awesome reception that the host has set up..

The day session started at a cozy place La Bella Resort, owned by Kim's brother.

Nice reception that was attended by hundreds..

We managed to catch the bride & groom on the pelamin just a nick of time..

We arrived in Mersing around 3pm and made it directly to the wedding location..

Then we head and checked into the hotel which was 10 minutes drive from the location.

The evening session started at 8pm with white and earth color theme..

Everyone attended with whites and mix matched them with lots of other colors..

Great! Actually never attended a Malay wedding this creative before..

This time, it was a really cool place called Kali's Prada Villa..

Basically its a bungalow located in the MIDDLE of paddy fields..

Wow! Please close eyes and imagine the scenery..

To tell you the truth, as Johorean this is my 1st time in 30 years coming to Mersing..!

We headed back to KL on Sunday after a nice chit chatting and breakfast with the pals..

Nice catching up with everyone, even though everyone is staying and making a living in KL we hardly meet..

I Want to be a TV

A teacher from Primary School asks her students to write an essay about what they would like God to do for them... At the end of the day while marking the essays, she read one that made her very emotional.

Her husband, that had just walked in saw her crying and asked her what happened. She answered, Read this. Its one of my students essays.

Oh God, tonight I ask you something very special.

Make me into a television.

I want to take its place.
Live like the TV in my house.
Have my own special place, and have my family around ME.
To be taken seriously when I talk....
I want to be the Center of attention and be heard without interruptions or questions.
I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives when it is not working.
Have the company of my dad when he arrives home from work, even when he is tired.
And I want my mom to want me when she is sad and upset, instead of ignoring me... and... I want my brothers to fight to be with me...

I want to feel that family just leaves everything aside, every now and then, just to spend some time with me.

And last but not least make it that I can make them all happy and entertain them...

Banyak benda nak cerita ni.. From local to international news update that i really want to talk about..

Let's start with the international one, Man Utd in particular..

There's hot speculation (not really speculating) that our Mr Rooney is leaving Old Trafford for a better chance at trophies. I guess Man Utd isn't doing so well as i thought.. Knowing Sir Alex well through the years, its sorta norm for him to wrestle with his best players after they're worn out or even juggling with internal problems. To name a few, we had Stam who was one of the best defenders on the planet, then Mr David Posh, who's very much had a blast over his years in MU, then out went people like Alan Smith, Ruud and even Roy Keane.. All these are players that have contributed more than anybody else would ever will.

Then, lately after Rooney had his internal drizzle with Colleen, also his lately injuries to the ankle, he's been kinda down and didn't play that much.. And yesterday, after Alex's video interview, he want out and said that MU's future is in the shakers. And he wants something certain especially about the future of the club.. You know, after CR7 left the club few years back, MU had a difficult time adapting to the fact that we don't have a winger that can run or penetrate like CR7 does. But the years has passed and now we have people like Nani, Valencia and even good old Giggs to wing out the forwards. Now, with Rooney opting to leave the club, i guess we can survive with Chicarito current form, Berba's latest development and Mechada's youth spirit. Also, i guess we can also rely on Nani and Park to further support the frontline. Personally, i would like to see Rooney stay but if he insist on going please leave UK turf and play else where.. I just can't watch him play against MU constantly in BPL.. It really gets to me, similarly if i watch Tevez playing for Man City..

Anyway, to cut it short. If possible let's have him play for MU and Rooney, please consider to stay.. But if everyone's insist on parting ways, please do it the best way possible.

The annual meetings of AMENO is happening as we speak. I had the chance to catch the telecast of the interview last evening on telly.. Also, had the chance to checkout the highlights of the meeting from time to time on the telly.. I guess, there is alot to do aside from what was mentioned in the meeting.. The current line of administrators and frontline are strong enough to do the job but the matter of fact they lack communication. Also, they lack of focus..

I'm not going to write up a joke or anything, but fact to ponder by them. To be frank, being born and raised in Johor and being pure Johorean, i guess i'm brought up to embrace AMENO.. But the fact that some of the people inside them is screwing it inside out, is not something i am fond of. These few groups of people are turning the club ugly in the eye of Malaysian.

You see, they have hardcore believers like me and me granny.. But most of them are kampung people or old people (not me!) that's been following them since post-war time.. Unlike our youths nowadays, they prefer to see new changes and not having to study nor understood the past changes that was done.. So, i think you guys (thousands of you over there) brainstorm at how to attract the youngs to support you... Start with their lifestyle and begin to accept them.. Get them active in things you do and not just pick up few volunteers you found.. Actual people doing actual things!

I dunno what else to say.. We got the supremacist doing all they can over there.. They might talk nonsense in a way, but somewhere in that crowd and stuff, things are being done accordingly.. Please do, i don't wanna have some other smuck running everything and watch it crumble down..

Guide to Sentosa Island

I got feedback bout my Sentosa post, requesting my advice or guide on how to spend time efficiently there..

Well, the Island is divided into 4 corners, Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach, Imbiah Lookout and Resort World.

Details of each corner:

Palawan - for those who loves nature coz there's the Eco Park and other nature thingy. You got also the most southern part of the republic with a man made mini island with viewing tower where you can lots of ships cruising across the see.

Siloso - this is where the Underwater World is located. Make sure that you ask for the time of the dolphin or sealion show. So that you can estimate the time you wanna go in. Also, the Fort Siloso is also located there where you can view the history of Singapore in terms of the WW carnages.

Imbiah Lookout - this is where most attractions are. The Merlion, Tiger Tower, Butterfly Park and other rides and shows available for you to enjoy. The good thing about this part of the island is that there are packages available for you to choose and enjoy at a reasonable price.

Resort World - Universal Studio is the main attraction for people to come here. Aside from that, most major hotels i.e. Hard Rock, M Hotel are located here. And also, most food corner or outlets are also here for you to enjoy.

So, there you are.. Again, my advice stay there to enjoy more. If you can't afford the hotels on the island, browse for nearby hotels. Public transport is a breeze..

The Weather Got to Him

A day after we came back from Sentosa, we hanged out at Johor at my parents place.. He was all well, had a slight fever but told him to run his sweat off outside with his cousins.. Then he's all better..

But when it came to Monday, he had very high fever.. Tried few remedies but he didn't seem to get well. So on Tuesday, i went to bring him to the specialist and he was warded for high fever and slight asthma.. Poor little hero.. Apparently there was quite a large quantity of phlegm in his lung that limited his ability to breath freely. He was given medicines, took nebulizer and even rest well at the hospital.

But as a dad, i am really proud of Faleeq. He was all strong, didn't bother bout his drip on his hand and took his medication well (eventhough we had to wrestle him down 1st).. He was later discharged from ward on Thursday after days of medication, nebulizer and rest... Now, he's up and running again.. Few days after he was discharged he was weak and got tired easily. Doc gave him inhaler for him to use regularly on a trial basis, and will evaluate his condition this coming follow up. Only then he can decide whether he'll be on the inhaler for good or he can stop using it. I hope its not a permanent thing coz i really miss my feisty and active son..

He Is 2 Years Old Today

Last Sunday it was Elliz's birthday.. I brought her for dinner the night before and had family and friends over for meal on Sunday..

Then, today 2 years ago, exactly 6.50 am during the month of Ramadhan, Iskandar Faleeq bin Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain was born at Putrajaya Hospital. With long endurance to the labor room, Elliz managed to hang in there and did magnificently to deliver our very 1st son..

1st day into the world

Now, he's grown into what parents would say a proud breed.. Alhamdulillah, he's very obedient, loves his fun fries, fruits especially apples and his Thomas dvd and trains. He already starting to talk calling his mom, ABU instead of IBU and me BABAH instead of ABAH.. haha when he wants to play at the playground, he'd say PAYKUANG...! hahaha

I love my son very very much.. .and pray that he'd grow up to be a human being.. a successful one..! I pray to Allah that he'd be on faithful muslim, responsible person and a good human.. Amin!

My Life On Raya Morning

Hi all...! I guess its still not too late for me to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya again... Well, its our 1st raya at our new house and we're all excited.. Guests have been coming over non-stop for the last 2 weeks and we're still beat up.. Can't find the time to even lie back and rest..

Anyhow, we started our raya in Gombak and make our way to JB on 2nd raya.. Lucky for us traffic was smooth all the way, even on our back to KL on Wednesday was nice.. Huh? Why come back KL so early huh? Well, i had to go to Dubai on the Thursday on some business thing. But too bad the trip had to be called off for some unavoidable reasons. If not, we'll have even more stuff for you on our MOPO site.

Anyhow, Faleeq enjoyed his raya.. I mean, this is his 1st raya understanding and appreciating the crowd and company. Most of all, duit raya was coming in for him. And going out for us.. duh! Anyway, hope that everyone's raya celebration was great fun.. What is important of all is the time spent with your famiily and friends cause they are what matter most..

Again like any other extremist blog, i got attacked.. But some kinda like my post, maybe even my friends might not agree to what i last posted..

Anyway, pada aku benda ni hakiki terletak pada diri sendiri. Yes, mmg ada unsur-unsur yang meragukan pada so-called iklan freemason hari raya yang terbaru. But, the thing is our people (Malaysians in general) are getting to screwed up...! Kenapa aku ckp mcm tu? Sebab sampai scene yg tak sampai 1 saat yg Quran terbalik pon nak ko belek... WTF?! Again yes, aqidah ko terganggu.. Tapi terganggu ke kalau ko berpegang teguh pada ajaranNya dan menjauhi dari laranganNya? The freaking ad went on air for what? a day? Skrg dah kena suspend dah pun iklan tu, they even apologize.. Bukan apa, ya betul, dia soal aqidah.. Jgn dicampurkan dua elemen agama yang berbeza dalam satu ruang atau perkara, seperti yang dibuat dalam iklan ni. Sila tenangkan diri anda, dan try approach this calmly..

Ingat, aku tak persoalkan tentang aqidah.. atau aku persoalkan tentang larangan itu.. mahupun aku ragu-ragu atau tidak mengambil pedulik berkenaan unsur-unsur yang mampu merosakkan aqidah ini tapi aku sekadar memberikan input dan pandangan aku.. Jangan salah faham atau tafsir kata-kata aku, aku masih seorang Muslim yang menyembahNya Yang Esa di samping menunaikan amalan yang dituntut dan meninggalkan perbuatan yang ditegahNya.

Tapi yang aku peliknya sekarang is that, how come dari iklan yang sebegini (again, ya pada aku ada unsur yang meragukan) sampai ketupat rendang pon ko nak freemason kan? What more can you guys come with next? Cabut semua jalur kat jalanraya sbb ada kesamaan dengan tanda salib? Again yes, mmg ada perkara-perkara yang sejak kebelakangan ini meragukan dan mengelirukan. Contoh? Mcm ada pulak insiden sampul duit raya tu ada pulak tanda salib kat situ.. Lagi? Mcm dulu, selipar atau kasut yang ada tulisan ALLAH yang diterbalikkan. Or even the sejadah yang ada tanda salib jika dilipat sedemikian atau pada lipatan tertentu...? Kalau dilipat ya saudara-saudara, kalau tidak dilipat ada ke tanda salib? Korang solat 5 waktu di atas sejadah yang berlipat ke?

Serius aku buka kepada semua nak membetulkan aku atau memberikan pandangan jika aku salah sebab aku admit aku bukan orang Muslim yang secelik-celiknya bila bab agama ni, dan aku juga bukan seorang pencraindera yang mengetahui segala-galanya.. Aku juga bukan ahli tahfiz atau ahli agama yang mampu menjawab seribu satu soalan mengenai alam.

Kita menerjahkan diri kita ke arah yang pada aku dah jadi pelik. Tak pulak orang mempersoalkan budaya menepung tawar yang sama dgn amalan orang Hindu? Takde pulak budaya mengarak kanak-kanak bila berkhatan disamakan dengan wel-wel Thaipusam? Again yes, baru-baru ni sume tanda-tanda dah makin ketara.. My advice, scrap the idea, take it cool.. You can spread the word but dun spread the freakiness.. Go against what they ask you to, but dun go against what your religion taught and guide you.. I love my Islam and my fellow muslim, i admire the way you guys fight for the aqidah of our youngs especially. But parents, brothers and sisters, start by guiding them well. Aku harap anak aku pon membesar dalam keislaman yang cukup, dan semoga sempurna.. Insyallah...

Korang ada tak tengok iklan raya terbaru yang panas tu? And korang ada tak teringin nak check source and search further pasal iklan ni...? Aku dapat email, siap dgn penjelasan atau discovery yang dibuat oleh penulis who is a blogger (i think)...

1st thing came to mind was, WOW!! This is cool.. Napa aku tak perasan.... However, fikiran aku yg lame (that time) nak tekan forward terus tak jadi, thinking how lame and dumb i would be if i continue to do so.. I have been labelled as a racist before and readers out there has already tell me to f**k off...! So, i guess i gotta stop that impromptu acts..

When i watched the actual ad, i was amazed. Yes, there are elements that were normally not related or would never be a part of a muslim or meleis ad. But, these elements that is so out-of-this-world is combined in a advertisement for this coming 'Idul Fitr. Making people go for the forward button faster than they could even actually read the thing.. Similar thing i found out when they got the email on Hitler as Muslim protector.. Another one, did anobody got the email about our lemang and ketupat.. It is so called to be linked to freemason too..!? Can you believe it.. I must stop buying checkered shirts and stop having cakes cause they're cut triangle shaped..

When i was doing my search, i got a few hundreds.. Yes!! Hundreds sites that carry this advertisement on their site.. But! What people didn't, failed and refuse to notice is the following comment that they or us Meleis got from this. Jumpy? Dumb? Lame? Wow...! Anything to protect our dear religion.. Again, i am just speechless...!

What majority readers out there simply said that they want the typical raya ad.. That's all.. They dun want or need these fusion ads to be aired.. I leave it to you to judge.. Let me reserve my comment, unless you left yours....

Weekend's Iftar

Had a great Iftar last weekend..

Went to Mak Ucu's on Saturday for a Buka Puasa with the family..

Tok yang just came back from Indonesia for the 'Idul Fitr so it's kinda a Hari Raya for us..

Mak Ngah, Ibu Azah and most of the KL cousins were there..

On Sunday, Aziz, Fedo, Alin and Fifi came over for buka puasa at our place, their 1st visit!

Elliz cooked up Chicken Rice and we had kuih as desert..

Too bad most of all forgot to take photos..

Surah at-Taubah [18] :
Hanyasanya yang layak memakmurkan (menghidupkan) masjid-masjid Allah itu ialah orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat serta mendirikan sembahyang dan menunaikan zakat dan tidak takut melainkan kepada Allah, (dengan adanya sifat-sifat yang tersebut) maka adalah diharapkan mereka menjadi dari golongan yang mendapat petunjuk

Surah at-Taubah [107] :
Dan (di antara orang-orang munafik juga ialah) orang-orang yang membina masjid dengan tujuan membahayakan (keselamatan orang-orang Islam), dan (menguatkan) keingkaran (mereka sendiri) serta memecah-belahkan perpaduan orang-orang yang beriman, dan juga untuk (dijadikan tempat) intipan bagi orang yang telah memerangi Allah dan RasulNya sebelum itu. Dan (apabila tujuan mereka yang buruk itu ketara), mereka akan bersumpah dengan berkata:” Tidaklah yang kami kehendaki (dengan mendirikan masjid ini) melainkan untuk kebaikan semata-mata “. Padahal Allah menyaksikan, bahawa sesungguhnya mereka adalah berdusta

Its said to see and know that certain group of our own Muslims do not have the urge to study and go into details of what has happened. Control what you say, study what you do and most of all learn to listen to others. I'm not saying i'm Mr-Know-It-All-About-Islam but at least i try.. Its no harm to learn what is around us rather than complaining and let other who know less do it with us.

Surah at-Taubah [17] - Tidaklah layak orang-orang kafir musyrik itu memakmurkan (menghidupkan) masjid-masjid Allah, sedang mereka menjadi saksi (mengakui) akan kekufuran diri mereka sendiri. Mereka itu ialah orang-orang yang rosak binasa amal-amalnya dan mereka pula kekal di dalam neraka..

DIY

After moving homes, i have taken DIY differently. Most of the things at home, are done by myself. Its not those major things or renos, but simply the small ones that require immediate attention.

Water pump - it is measured by the hp (horse power) and bar, a double story house with 3 toilets should need a MINIMUM of 4 bar water pump. Remember, this is no car or grandprix. So take it easy on the power cause it will damage your pipings in the house
Drilling - i borrowed Anil's power drill for immediate and easy repairs and installation. Put up photo frames (lots of it), CCTV cameras and racks. Oh yes! Also the drapes and curtains. It felt good when it all went in place
Gardening - No,i dun have a lawn that can accommodate a pond. But i do have enough for Faleeq to run around. Considering the limited space, i'm planning for a multiple stage flower vase rack to be put at the porch. Nice? Lets wait and see how the thing would come later
Wiring / Electrical - put up a fan in the maid's room, but found out that the cables were messed up. So, tried to do rewiring and ended up with a huge spark. Nearly got myself fried in the process. Anyway, the fan is up and the wiring is still in progress.

Is there anything else missing? Coz my KPI is to get the whole house done by Raya time.. Yes, i do have my personal KPIs.. It keeps me on track..!
