A prevented happiness

Have you ever said to yourself that you shouldn't be this happy? Or in other words, you've prevent happiness came to your life, and perhaps denying the current happy moment?

I don't know, perhaps out there are people who just wish to see other live unhappy life. But for you to prevent your own happiness it would such a waste. There must be a big reason or a great barrier that prevent to flow of happiness, which makes acceptance is nearly a miracle. Perhaps its a guilt, or another simple nightmare.

But disturbing the flow of genuine or rather natural happiness in your life would be no different than doing it to other. A prevented happiness gives nothing but simple empty self satisfaction to anybody who made it happen.

A Higher Sun

I know that scientists already found planets that orbiting more a single sun (read: star). I wonder if our planet has twin or double suns. Would a day becomes brighter?

Then I am wondering if my heart has two suns, then would my life becomes brighter? Well, I soon put that question aside. I am now quite happy with flickering candle in the dark.

The Hardest Thing

I have thought all this time, that the hardest think above this earth perhaps not a diamond, but to change someone or one self.

When you try to change yourself into a better one, perhaps it will be the hardest thing you ever face. You can fail and fail again, you can run and try again, yet you find that you have move nowhere from where you started.

I don't know, perhaps everything has their own time, or perhaps every understanding need their own moment to knock your heart, in time where a change shall occur naturally. No body know, not even you when you were busy struggling with your own self.

What is Silent

A student comes to his master and asking, "master what is silent".

His master stays still.

The next day, he asks the same question, and the master still stays on the same stillness.

One day he got bored and says, "master why don't you tell me what is silent?".

The master smiles and says, "I did show you all the time, didn't you see it?".

Then the pupil realize his mistake. He only pursued answer but not reality about silent. Something that can not be share, isn't silent - but something that can be share - still isn't silent. By negating all this, there is a silent.

Live Across the Edge

If you are just a small living thing in a strange big world, what you would you do if even the edge is still unknown.

Would you like to try to cross the edge of unknown? Living there so you can see everything that you never see - even when your lifespan perhaps won't permit it.

We are just a small living thing at all. It is nothing wrong neither right by live across the edge.

Nothing in Common

Perhaps we’ve live surrounded with everything or people those have nothing in common with our self. Perhaps, we’ve live by seeing everything are so different. But, what is wrong with being different?

Well, we (mostly) will meet person with some peculiar character that we never ever imagine before. But, the problem would be, how far we can accept being different, someone with nothing in common, how far we would open our self to this world?

Can you love of being different, or can you say it love if only wish everything as you desire?

Let It Goes

I think I nearly always here those simple world inside my head. Perhaps since my life are too complex, sometimes I got a hard time to swallow those words.

The more we attached to something, it would be harder to let it goes. The pain, suffering, agony are everything those occur naturally.

And the more our effort, struggle, the more negative feeling blooms inside.

Then, I think, if we can not see clearly that we are attached at all, we can't wish to end the nature of attachment itself.

Wisdom is started, when we being honest with our self, with our attachments.

A New Meeting

Somehow, its feel very nostalgic when we met an old friend, even just by words of instant text. The world becomes smaller by our innovations in communications technology.

People no longer meeting face by face, by looking at a bright screen of a computerized devices, and typing "hi".

I wonder how much we have change this world in past century. And how it will be in next century. I think, we'll always have a new meeting.

Do Consideration

Yes, indeed life needs consideration, but if it hold me back from acting, I think do consideration is no much helping at all.

Before The Time

One can not move before the time, one can not idle in the time. Our universe strangely creates many things beyond our understanding.

But, one thing is clear enough, that everything has their own moment, their own time.

Since time is as strange as this world, perhaps the really exact time is within the dark-unknown-unmapped territories.

Reveal it, perhaps, one shall find the harmony of this life.

The Melody We Left Behind

How much far we have move to the present time, how many things those we left behind. And what kind of change we have brought to this very day.

Those questions once awhile – definitely – came across my mind. Perhaps, am I doubting the present, or was I having a regrets leaving something in the past. Is not an easy question, not since they have no answer, but since it hard to believe that those things need an answer in the first place.

The melody we left behind, perhaps it shall gone forever, or maybe still echoing to this very day.

Finding Horizon

I always curious when looking far to the horizon, whether that line shows me the truth lies beyond, or will I able to arrive there if I am about going to find it? Ah, just something like that.

Horizon is, something you can see in everyday life, but will never able to catch it even if you were faster then light. But indeed, the curiousness about is like imagination to bring even the thinest line into surrealism.

Finding horizon perhaps something that can't be a dream comes true. Indeed, life is not always about fulfillment of your dreams, sometimes - it is all about how you enjoy yourself all the way.

If I meet my destiny

Lingering Feeling

Deep down when one feel a great sorrow, there is a lingering feeling which has no soul of life fullness. Never has certainty for anything, never build any dream, never run for any hope.

A great sorrow, is one last battlefield - we called it life. Passing it wisely, then perhaps one shall find his certainty in this life.

The Forbidden Path

Human has a freedom to walk in any direction he will, in any path he prefer to take. And there is no such dogma needed to force someone to take what is right instead what is wrong acording to something else beside his heart.

I believe if one takes a decision by his heart, it would not lead to any wrong direction. But if he failed to listen to his own heart, the path may turn into a hellish one.

And the only reason why one could fail listen to his own heart, is because he is confusing. By the dogmas, by the traditions, by the norms. By anything that divides this world into black and white, into right and wrong.

Anything that would not let him entering the forbidden path, which perhaps never even an existence in reallity.

Listen to your heart honestly, then you may see what are the actual forbidden paths, which the by nature, you won't take those paths.

Lack of Miracles

Somehow people wonder, is there any miracle that would pop up in their usual boring day of today? Because somehow, we wish - perhaps unconsciously - so something good even great happening to us without any prior notice. In the end, wish the routine daily life would just change into a wonderful day.

So, do you thing there was a lack of miracles? Or just people only has no capability to enjoy the life they already had?

Miracles are not something we can hope for escaping from reality. But, I think then, the complete understanding of our reality would be the greatest miracle that we can found. Since that understanding would surely makes us live fully.

If we can do everything

Imagine if people are capable of doing everything. What kind of life shall we take into the future, or what step we take for today? Do we prefer, travelling all over the seas and continents to find our adventurer spirit? Or do we prefer opening a small shop as a flourist?

Shall we see our self life in the middle of high class properties, or just a small simple lovely house in the middle of nowhere?

I think when we dream of capable of almost anything, we may see the form of our very desired one. But if we then just find that dream exactly as how we are today, what is mean then?

Are we satisfied enough of our life? Are we love the life that we walk in today? Or, are we stupid enough by not seeing anything to make a better future?

Well, those question shall not be answered by anyone else but our self, will they?

A Great and Totality of Feeling

In the modern world where there are so many problems, one is apt to lose great feeling. I mean by that word feeling, not sentiment, not emotionalism, not mere excitement, but that quality of perception, the quality of hearing, listening, the quality of feeling -a bird singing on a tree, the movement of a leaf in the sun.

To feel things greatly, deeply, penetratingly, is very difficult for most of us because we have so many problems. Whatever we seem to touch turns into a problem. And, apparently, there is no end to man's problems, and he seems utterly incapable of resolving them because the more the problems exist, the less the feelings become.

I mean by "feeling" the appreciation of the curve of a branch, the squalor, the dirt on the road, to be sensitive to the sorrow of another, to be in a state of ecstasy when we see a sunset. These are not sentiments, these are not mere emotions. Emotion and sentiment or sentimentality turn to cruelty, they can be used by society; and when there is sentiment, sensation, then one becomes a slave to society. But one must have great feelings.

The feeling for beauty, the feeling for a word, the silence between two words, and the hearing of a sound clearly;all that generates feeling. And one must have strong feelings, because it is only the feelings that make the mind highly sensitive.

What is feeling? Feeling is like thought. Feeling is a sensation. I see a flower and I respond to that flower; I like it or dislike it. The like or the dislike is dictated by my thought, and the thought is the response of the background of memory.

So, I say, "I like that flower," or "I do not like that flower"; "I like this feeling" or "I do not like that feeling."

Now, is love related to feeling? Feeling is sensation, obviously, sensation of like and dislike, of good and bad, of good taste and all the rest of it. Is that feeling related to love? Have you watched your street, have you watched the way you live in your houses, the way you sit, the way you talk? And have you noticed all your saints whom you worship? For them passion is sex, and therefore they deny passion, therefore they deny beauty, deny in the sense of putting those aside.

So, with sensation you have put away love because you say, 'Sensation will make me a prisoner, I will be a slave to sex-desire; therefore I must cut it out.' Therefore you have made sex into an immense problem. When you have understood feeling completely, not partially, when you have really understood the totality of feeling, then you will know what love is.

When you can see the beauty of a tree, when you can see the beauty of a smile, when you can see the sun setting behind the walls of your town, see totally, then you will know what love is.

The Peculiar Curiousity

I don't know much thinks, even perhaps I've been life for at least a third of my life span. Even when I started to write this, I don't know where it would be going.

But still, I wrote and wrote. Curious I maybe, yet it just another peculiar curiousity in my life. I've no reason for it, but simple repeated words of "I wonder..."

Life shall provide you with so many questions, and yet a little has its answers just side by side. Even after you struggling again and again, the answers may still seemed too obvious to be a true answer.

But then again, this glutony of curiousity is peculiar by itself, isn't it?

Well, when you grow old, even not get any more wisdom, you still would be to satisfy, just by answers without a single question. Since we shall find, that our curiousity isn't satisfied by any answer in this world that has many faces, but this peculiar curiousity itself is the very answer of satisfication.

Keep Moving Forward

Life surely has moments in which we feel down, sad, or desperate. I won't say it would be easy, neither it would be a moment where you find joy in struglling with your own consciousness.

Keep moving forward would be a word that seems as possible seing the sun will rise from East tommorow. But, we human are tend and capable to dealing with any possibility without any regret, we chose to live fully.

Relation of Exploitation

As most of us seek power in one form or another, the hierarchical principle is established, the novice and the initiate, the pupil and the Master, and even among the Masters there are degrees of spiritual growth. Most of us love to exploit and be exploited, and this system offers the means, whether hidden or open. To exploit is to be exploited. The desire to use others for your psychological necessities makes for dependence, and when you depend you must hold, possess; and what you possess possesses you.

Without dependence, subtle or gross, without possessing things, people, and ideas, you are empty, a thing of no importance. You want to be something, and to avoid the gnawing fear of being nothing you belong to this or that organization, to this or that ideology, to this church or that temple; so you are exploited, and you in your turn exploit.

Q: When a man has a message, the relationship between a man and his message is usually a teacher and his teachings. And the teacher often has followers, and his message is a system - why don't you consider yourself a teacher and your message a system?

K: Generally a teacher has a message and followers - a teacher. Why don't you consider yourself as a teacher and have followers? I have made it all fairly clear, haven't I? Don't follow anybody and don't accept anybody as a teacher except you yourself become the teacher and the disciple for yourself.

Relationship based on mutual need brings only conflict. However interdependent we are on each other, we are using each other for a purpose, for an end. With an end in view, relationship is not. You may use me and I may use you. In this usage, we lose contact. A society based on mutual usage is the foundation of violence. When we use another, we have only the picture of the end to be gained. The end, the gain, prevents relationship, communion. In the usage of another, however gratifying and comforting it may be, there is always fear.

To avoid this fear, we must possess. From this possession there arises envy, suspicion, and constant conflict. Such a relationship can never bring about happiness. A society whose structure is based on mere need, whether physiological or psychological, must breed conflict, confusion, and misery. Society is the projection of yourself in relation with another, in which the need and the use are predominant. When you use another for your need, physically or psychologically, in actuality there is no relationship at all; you really have no contact with the other, no communion with the other. How can you have communion with the other when the other is used as a piece of furniture, for your convenience and comfort? So, it is essential to understand the significance of relationship in daily life.

Dependence sets going the movement of aloofness and attachment, a constant conflict without comprehension, without a release. You must become aware of the process of attachment and dependence, become aware of it without condemnation, without judgment, and then you will perceive the significance of this conflict of opposites.

If you become deeply aware and consciously direct thought to comprehend the full meaning of need, of dependence, your conscious mind will be open and clear about it; and then the subconscious with its hidden motives, pursuits, and intentions, will project itself into the conscious. When this happens, you must study and understand each intimation of the subconscious. If you do this many times, becoming aware of the projections of the subconscious after the conscious has thought out the problem as clearly as possible, then, even though you give your attention to other matters, the conscious and the subconscious will work out the problem of dependence, or any other problem. Thus, there is established a constant awareness, which will patiently and gently bring about integration; and if your health and diet are all right, this will in turn bring about fullness of being.

There is No Reasoning

Sometimes one's act based on no particular reason, it just flows simple like a river on the spring. Even if someone else were asking him what is the reason, he has no answer.

The problem that might rise is not all of the people can accept openly an act without reason. Why you help them if there is no reason? That would be a common example of simple denying.

Pure act has no reason, nor should one searching for it. It is a part of one's heart, your action based on what your heart says, then there would be no reason, except your action was coming from your logic, there shall you find a lot of reasoning.
