14.3 ounces of salad ingredients harvested today.
We have our first carrot, first cucumbers, and first green pepper. We also have a small head of broccoli.
I went ahead a harvested as many lettuce greens as I could. The heat has really kicked up and the plants are struggling.

Harvested a great salad for dinner tonight. It included lettuce, Swiss chard, sugar peas, cucumbers, and broccoli. It was delicious!

Sugar snaps peas are enjoying our crazy weather. The warm season plants are not so sure of the below normal temperatures!

Just picked these this evening. That makes just over 2 lbs of snow peas so far.

A new addition to our Garden

Our oldest wanted his very own section of the garden so we built him an eight foot x three foot box of his own today.

He added carrots, zukes, cukes, black eye peas and some peanuts.

First potatoes!

So this year we planted a ton of seed potatoes.....some in 5 gal buckets and some in 4 ft square gardens. We harvested our first round tonight and got over 1 lb.!! This harvest was from one of the buckets.... The plants were stressed from our extreme weather changes, so I decided to see what was at the bottom. 1 lb of potatoes!!!!!!
