Todays work of art comes from a man i feel proud to call a friend of mine. Imperial Glass house. This litttle guy runs about 4" big and is a slick color changer with a awesome mushroom milli at the end. This piece has a medium sized hole which is perfect for the size of the pipe. I love the mushroom and silver fuming as i feel it is a kick back to old school pipes. Imperial makes so much more than just glass pipes as well. Danr Glass

Today i will be giving my thoughts on my first glass sherlock from DanR on Etsy. First thing i noticed when i took it out of the pakcage was how clean the bend in the glass was. I am studying lampworking and can say it is difficult to bend glass and make it look so clean. It takes alot of practice. Second was damn this thing is green I love green. It is clear with about 4 different type of green glasswork. The bowl is a little small but i dont mind that as this is my new reading pipe while i curl up in the recliner and read Contemporary Lampworking. Seriously though he did some clean work on this its polished in the flame and you can tell by the fact that this thing just never looks dirty. I love the fact that it is about hand size for a sherlock to me this is a perfect size. MJ42 Glass

I got a sweet little treat in the mail today. It is my first ever onnie/one hitter. I had never hit a one hitter in my life till i got this. First thing i noticed was that mj42 does some sick color and spiral work. Also he does ice pinches in the bowl pack. This helps so much with a clear and clean hit. So many of my friends that use one hitters hit this and were in aww. It is like hitting air. I talked with MJ for a while now and will say he is a stand up guy. He answered all the questions I had and explained things to me that even had nothing to do with the glass. He also does other work other than pipes. He makes everything from cleaning stoppers to wine stoppers. August Glass

Last week i received my pipe from August Pipes. I opened the package and was in shock at the colors. This pipe is about 3 different shades of red all in one piece. I love the shades and the way it changes in the sunlight. This piece has become my hiking toker. It fits so nice in your pocket and when I busted this out with my friends they loved the colors as well. I love the silver/purple in the middle and the colored carb hole. This piece also has a nice clear marble on it, through this you can see some of the detail in the glass it's awesome. Zach is a local blower to me in the State of IL. He does some amazing work. He makes some super sick sherlocks and hand pipes. Also if you are looking for a gift for your mother he makes Glass hummingbird feeders! How awesome is that? In conclusion I think you should hit Zack at august glass up if you want some colors thrown together that you wouldn't expect. I am not a fan of Red but he made me fall in love with it.

What can be said about Perkins glass? Well let me try to sum that up for you. Perkins glass is bang for your buck. He has pieces ranging from $13-$30. Every piece he has is worth every dime. Loud actions

This some people would call a pipe... To those people id make a kangaroo punch them. This is what loud actions call their Space line. I am a space freak so when i got this i was on cloud 9. I have a tattoo space sleeve just for back reference :D. Each piece they send out has a different color marble on it to represent a different planet. I got earth which is awesome since i kind of live there. Seriously though when i got this piece i was blown away by the color and just sheer art of the entire thing. The only downside i felt to this pipe is its not as thick as some would hope but is still thicker than most pipes you would get in a head shop. This piece is long as well and again another nice sized bowl pack. It seems artist on etsy know what we like when it comes to bowl size. Sweet Pickle Glass

This piece of art is made by one of my favorite etsy artist Sweet Pickle. I feel in love with his work the first time I saw it as he makes alot of designs that are well "out of the box." He uses alot of color combinations I wouldn't normally think I would like together but always seems to pull them off. He also makes some impressive looking sherlocks. Sweet pickle I will also vouch for as a stand up guy and excellent business man. When he says he is going to have you something out at a certain time it will be when he says. The piece i received is amazing color scheme of red, black, and white. I call it the ray gun as it reminds me alot of the raygun from Call of duty zombies :D. The bowl pack on this piece is also a very nice size and the carb is just right and artistically white. This will forever be in my top 5 bowls i have owned and now i will share it with you guys enjoy. Plug-a-nug

This piece is made by a artist that goes by the alias Plug-a-nug. He is known on etsy for his detail to color and nice honeycombs. This by far has been the heaviest piece I have held and has been dropped twice by my wife without a scratch! I will say when i first got this i was a little weirded out by the whole honeycomb as I've never owned one but i have grown to love it and now want more. This piece also has the perfect bowl size. It holds about .25-.50 of a gram of whatever "herbal blend' you want to put into it. The colors also really pop off this bowl as you will see in the pictures. Plug is also a super nice guy we talked a little and he really loves and backs the art he makes. He also sent along a piece by his apprentice that I will be reviewing in the next blog. This has also been my wives favorite piece and she has now made it her daily driver. Here are some pics of the piece and my 100% support for Plug. Degenerate Science Labs

This my friends is going to be something a little different. This guys is a product i believe in and would support over the Honeybee extractor all day. Fellow blades today i bring you Degenerate Science Labs BHO extractor. The way this works is you load up your favorite "stuff" and than place a can of PURE butane not the cheap walmart stuff to the open end. You than aim it toward a pyrex dish and let the butane push the sweet sweet juices through the nice screen which is included. At the end of the post I will link you to a link on how to make BHO hash because i WILL not finish it in this post as it can be dangerous if your a idiot about it. This tube is made with one thing in mind guys. To make it easy as pie to make BHO hash. These guys are super friendly and believe and back up what they sell. The first piece I got was from Paranoias Glass. Let me say i took this thing out of the amazing packed tube and was in awe. Me and my wife both agree this is the deepest blue we have ever seen in a pipe. Mark defiantly knows his way around the torch. The swirl at the end of the pipe is awesome and also the pipe is color changing which is also a plus. What you will find with Mark's pieces is he has a big bowl pack and also a bigger than normal hole in the bowl. Some people might this this is a issue but I guarantee you this was not for me. I always grind my "stuff"and without a screen received no Scooby snacks. The way I could see the big bowl hole coming in handy is lets say your at a concert or festival and you have the piece on you. This would be perfect with un-grinded "stuff" seeing as the hole would be hard to clog. I have to tip my hat to Mark as he is a really cool guy and will be working closely to grasscity which is dear to my heart.
