New Android App available – Shake Counter

Outerbridge have launched a brand new app for Android mobile phones. Shake Counter allows you to count anything just by shaking your Android device.

Each time you shake your phone the counter increases and you get a short vibration back from the phone so you know that the shake has been recorded. Very handy if you’re counting children onto a coach or the number of sheep in a field. Apart from the shake action to count you can also use the +1 and -1 buttons on your touchscreen to adjust the counter. And of course you can reset to zero at any time. It’s easy to operate, you just shake your phone and the counter increases by one. Settings are available so that you can fine tune the counter’s action for your particular phone and for your wrist action.

Outerbridge has recently built a new website for media company Green & Go. Green & Go Media is a division of Ministry of Experience that specialises in deploying outdoor media formats that use human power, solar energy, wind and sustainable fuel. The site is based around a series of beautiful photographs of natural landscapes and is written using WordPress and JavaScript.

We are proud to launch our first Android mobile phone application. It’s an app version of our popular PitStopLog tool, which is a fuel economy/mpg calculator. It works for imperial gallons, litres and US gallons. It’s suitable for all Android mobile phones (running version OS 1.5 or later) and you can download it from the official Android Market.

LG Matthews example portfolio

Electrical solutions specialist LG Matthews has a brand new website thanks to Outerbridge. Proprietor Lee Matthews had already commissioned a web design (by Dispirito) and wanted someone to replicate it exactly using CSS, with PHP rendering and an underlying MySQL database. Lee also wanted the ability to easily update the website himself, so he was keen to take advantage of Outerbridge’s free CMS (Content Management System), which we provide with all of our websites. Mike Jones worked closely with both Lee and the designer to deliver a website which maintained the integrity of the original pdf design without compromising usability.

Outerbridge also provide hosting and e-mail services to Lee Matthews.
