2011-07-07T13:06:00.000-07:00

I havent blogged for awhile guys. Ive been trying to find a job its so hard. Especially when you have a toddler. I live in a small town and the nearest city is 45mins away.
I have to find a job that doesnt include working evenings because of child care. Its so expensive to send a child to nursery I need to find a job thats over 16 hours so i can get 80% of childcare payed for.
Ive been looking on the jobcentre website. Ive emailed companies. Getting really upset I cant find a job.

Morning!!

I was thinking today Ive got lots of toys, clothing, shoes, books that Jacob doesnt use/fit anymore.
I usually take them to the charity shops. I know that they sell most of it in store which is fine but I wanted to send my items out to countries myself.
So I came across SHARE KENYA. Its for ages 5-18 and they request people to send them toys clothing and shoes and books etc. One little girl had never had a colouring book and crayons before and how cheap is it for us to buy?
so I do have an address here to send

Fitness & Food

2011-06-11T12:29:00.000-07:00

Last week I joined a gym at my leisure centre. And I'm hooked already. I now know why people get the bug for it its so addictive.
I have been set a programme by an instructor.

15mins cross trainer on different settings from level 1-level 6 to challenge you
20 mins on different weight machines (this actually burns lots of calories and wont bulk you up)
15mins on the bike on different settings to make it harder

I do 50 mins 3-4 times a week and I burn 800 calories a time.

I have also been given a eating plan
typical day

Breakfast 2 pieces of wholemeal toast with honey and chopped banana, 1 pot small plain yougurt, cup of tea
Morning Snack cup of green tea 2 carrot sticks 2 celery sticks with some hoummous
Lunch Chicken or Turkey salad with brown rice or couscous
Afternoon snack 2 ryvitas with low fat cheese spread
Dinner fish or chicken with sweet potato and veg

I dont like water so i drink diluted squash, tea, green tea during the day.

After a work out I always eat a banana as protein after exercise is good for weight loss and stops you aching the day after.
And I drink a lucozade or powerade during exercise to give me some carbs for extra energy to keep me working out well.

Will post more tips very soon

Daily Skincare routine

2011-06-06T14:43:00.000-07:00

I hope everyone has a skincare routine. Take care of your skin now and you will thank youself later in life.

Cleansing wipes will just distribute the make up around the face and into the pores more and not actually cleaning them. Cleansing wipes are okay for a quick wipe over after a late night out but always make sure you wash your face to get rid of dirt.

I usually use Dermalogica facial products as it generally makes my skin feel amaze after.

There are so many products to choose from ideally I would recommend you go and have a consulatation and the therapist will give you a prescription.

These are the products I use.

PRE CLEANSE
suitable for all skin types lovely and foamy,
USE TWICE.

Daily Microfoliant
This is a fine exfoliant but it really does the job you can use a flannel and use circular motions.

A quick spritz free handed of toner

Skin Smoothing cream
This is a velvety light texture and makes your skin feel fab

My lovely bright polishes

2011-06-04T06:18:00.000-07:00

Wow it was 27 degrees in South Wales yesterday got a ace tan. And today its heavy rain. WTF?

I bought a few nail polishes for summer as I thought the weather is going to be nice enough to show them off. sods law. Luckily as a beauty therapist I can get them abit cheaper at trade price.

So Here they are :-

OPI Ate berries in the Canaries

CND Anchor Blue

How I do my hair, As requested..

2011-06-02T03:06:00.000-07:00

Hey Hey,
Ive had a few emails asking me to blog about my hair. What I use etc.

1.I use L'oreal creme gloss in 550 Mahogany. The one Cheryl Cole had. £6.00 every 4-6 weeks.

2. I use Babyliss Big Hair To dry my hair in sections, This is amazing for volume and it smoothes out the hair making it frizz free.

3. I then Curl my hair with my GHDS from the middle section clamp down twist and slowly pull the hair out, you should get loose curls. However it does take practice.

4. I finish off with elnette hairspray and abit of back combing at the crown for extra volume.
